“You know what?” I told Jett before I left for the bath.
“What?” he asked.
“I never want to see my apartment again,” I told him. “I don’t think I could ever feel comfortable being there with what happened.”
“I think that can be arranged,” he said with a smile.
“Do you mean it?” I asked with raised eyebrows, and he grinned once more.
“I think you should move in here with me. We’ll arrange to have your things moved over here. If you don’t want to see that place again, then I can have it arranged for all your stuff to be moved over and you don’t even have to go back to pack,” he said.
“Promise?” I asked as he pulled me close for another kiss.
“I promise,” he said.
Now, as I walked out of the bathroom and toward his bedroom naked once more, I wasn’t feeling anything but love for the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with. He was on the bed waiting for me, and I knew it was just the first night in many, many nights we would be sharing that bed together.
Jett was sitting up in bed, the blanket over his legs, but I knew he was just waiting for me. With a smile, I slipped into bed with him.
“I love you,” I said. “I want you to know that. I really, really love you.”
“I love you, too,” he said with a passionate kiss right on my lips. “I love you more than anything.
I smiled as I kissed him once more, letting my smile break the kiss only for a moment before I leaned into it. I teased him with my tongue, I nibbled his lips with my own, and I ran my hands over him as I slid closer to him on the bed.
There was something so different about the way we were touching each other now. It was just as exciting as the first time. It was filled with lust like every time, but there was something new about this time that wasn’t ever present before. This was so much deeper than the lust we had shared in the past.
This was so much greater than just wanting to satisfy our need to be with each other. No, this was love. This was making love to each other. This was proving to each other just how we felt, and how no one could come between us, no matter what.
Jett moved on top of me, easing his body down over mine. I spread my legs, taking him over me with a smile, our eyes locked. He eased his hips down, sliding his cock into my wet pussy and making me moan as I closed my eyes and arched my back, taking him as far into me as I could.
He held himself deep inside me for just a moment, pushing as far into me as he could, giving me his entire being. Then, he drew himself out of me before pushing into me again – slowly, sensually, making the most of every feeling, taking his time.
There wasn’t an urgency about our coupling; there wasn’t the need to climax as fast and hard as we could. No, this was about the passion of the moment. This was making the most of the time we had together. This was exploring and celebrating each other’s bodies with everything we had in us.
We were both giving lovers, making each other feel as though this moment was only for them. I moaned, biting Jett’s shoulder as he pushed himself into me once more, sending shivers all the way through me. No one had ever made me feel like this before, not even Jett himself when we had hooked up in the past.
This was truly making love to each other, and with each other. We were celebrating the start of our new, official relationship, and I couldn’t wait to begin my new life entirely at Jett’s side. I knew I still had a lot to learn about the MC, but I didn’t care. I knew as long as I had Jett with me, I could do anything.
I moved with him on the bed, making the most of ever sensation. I ran my hands down his back, digging my nails in ever so lightly, sending goosebumps all over his skin, making him moan as he thrust into me once more. He was moving with a greater urgency now, and I was taking him with a greater need.
We were both getting closer to climax, and I knew he wanted to cum with me. Jett was the only person I’d ever cum with at the same time, and it was the best feeling I’d ever experienced. I moaned, moving with him, rising and falling on the bed with him, sliding with his dick.
My breathing hastened, his breath deepened, we were moaning, pulling each other closer, pushing into each other then pulling again, our bodies growing tense in the heat of the moment.
I wrapped my legs around Jett’s body, pulling him into me as far as I could just as my body exploded with pleasure. He let out a moan, feeling my pussy clamp down on his cock and squeezing him, taking all he had to give me.
The pulsing of his orgasm spread warmth in my body, bringing a smile to my face. The waves of pleasure crashed through us simultaneously. It was impossible to know where one of us began and the other ended. I knew this was perfect. This was love.
This was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, and I was happy. My father had gotten the justice he deserved, and the men who were responsible for his death, well, they were given their due justice, as well.
Now, I was free to live my life, happy with the man I was lucky enough to call my own. I could be the den mother of the MC. I could be the one to fill those shoes, and I knew my father looked down from Heaven on me, and he was happy that I’d found this in life.
Jett Corbin was the man for me, and I knew I was the love of his life, too. We could face anything life threw our way, and we would.
Nothing could stop us now.
Epilogue – Six Months Later
Jett
“Any mostly, Sir, I wanted you to know without any doubt I’m going to take care of your daughter with all the power I have. I would do anything for that woman, and I mean it. Until the day I die, I’m going to spend each breath I have making her happy,” I looked down at the grave, trying not to choke up, but needing to say more.
“She is the woman of my dreams. I never thought I would fall in love with anyone the way I fell in love with her, and I know you would be so proud if you could see her today. She’s so happy, and she misses you so much. I’m going to protect her, cherish her, and provide for her all the days of my life. And, most important of all, I’m going to love her,” I said.
The sound of a bird chirping nearby filled the silence, and I took another deep breath before I wrapped up my speech.
“I guess that’s about all I have to say. I just wish you were here to give her away yourself, though I know you would be really pleased with her choice. I promise you I’m going to do everything I can to be the man she deserves. She really does deserve the best, and I’m going to try to be the best. Thank you,” I said.
I turned to go, giving the headstone one last look before I did.
There was a lump in my throat as left the grave, and it only got worse on my way through the cemetery. I was getting married. I was marrying the love of my life, and I was the happiest man in the world.
But, I still felt it was only right to stop by and talk to Doc himself before I married his daughter, so I got up early and headed to the cemetery to have a moment alone with the man. I knew he would be proud of his daughter if he was still alive and able to see us getting married that day, but I still felt the pressure to take care of her.
Doc always had high standards, and he wouldn’t settle for just anyone raising his daughter. He didn’t ever talk about her or his wife to keep them safe, and I knew he would still want her to be safe more than anything now. He knew I lived a dangerous life, but he also knew I would make sure she was safe before anything else.
I would lay my life on the line for her, and I wouldn’t ever let anything touch her or hurt her. And, he would know that. He knew me when he was alive, and he and I had gotten along well. We had a respect for each other, and nothing had been able to change that.
Sure, I might live a life he hadn’t fully approved of, but that didn’t stop him from helping me or anyone in my club when we were hurt. He was just that kind of man. I loved him and respected him, and I felt like the luckiest man alive to be able to marry his daughter.
Things had been going so well between the t
wo of us, we decided it was only right we got married. We knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together, so there was no need to keep putting it off. Callie had been living with me since the night I saved her, and I never wanted that to change.
Sure, we would move to another house someday, and we might have fancier things one day, too, but that didn’t matter right now. All that mattered right now was the fact that we were in love with each other, and we were going to make that promise in front of everyone.
Callie invited her friends and family to the wedding, and even her mother would be there for the big day. I had my MC there, all dressed up and ready for the big moment, as well. There was excitement in the air, and as I got back on my bike and headed toward town, I was ready to get on with not only the day, but with the next chapter of my life.
I had paid my final respects to one of the men I admired most, and I was going to take his daughter as my wife. I would spend my life making her happy, and I knew he would give us his blessing if he was here to do it.
After all, Callie had been his world first, and now she was mine. He would have done anything for her, and now it was my turn to take on that responsibility. And I would do it with all that I had in me.
No matter what I had to go through – no matter what life threw our way, I would take the challenge head on. I wasn’t one to get lazy or give up when things got tough, I was a fighter, and so was Callie.
We were ready to take on life together, as a team. From this day forward, we would be man and wife, partners in crime, but equals on our team. We had the MC behind us and nothing but a bright future before us.
This new chapter of our lives was bound to be an adventure, and I knew one thing without any doubts at all:
I couldn’t wait to get started.
