Remember Laughter Page 15

by Ginny Sterling

He stared down at her bright blue eyes. Marigold was like the flower, warm, bright, and glorious in such a natural way that he felt humbled. This beautiful woman never gave up and saw the best in people. There was an infinite tenderness in her gaze that made him yearn for some sort of comfort for his own damaged soul.

A comfort he couldn’t deny any longer.

Ben leaned down and kissed her.

  Afterword

Ohhh I loved this story soo much! I cannot tell you how much writing this series has touched my soul. Every time I write one of these books, I fall more in love with the characters and they simply must come back to visit in the next book!

It was so much fun to return to John & Lily’s story – announcing their baby. I adored the idea of Colin & Ava giving Aurora a little brother/sister. The fact that a group of friends can go through tough times, find comfort in their individual group and manage to find that one special person in the world for them… it just makes my romantic heart turn to complete mush.

I think we’ll have to have another massive celebration in Ben Watson’s story, Remember Dreams… perhaps there will be a few more books, a few more characters, and a few more love stories in the future!

I really hope you enjoyed Jason and Leia’s love story. I felt so bad for her at the very beginning that she needed to have an amazing HEA at the end. Getting a big hunkin’ rock of a diamond ring, a wedding gown, and doves wouldn’t work for this couple – nope. They needed fun, different, memorable, and lighthearted – just like they were when they were together.

I’d love to hear from you – drop me a line in my Facebook group and let me know what you think and in the meantime, be sure to enjoy the rest of the team’s stories.

John and Lily – Remember Home

Ethan and Daisy – Remember Hope

Colin and Ava – Remember Love

Mike and Cora – Remember Joy

Jamie and Lucy – Remember Fate

Dylan and Eva - Remember Courage

Thinking silently and tapping on her chin… who should get the next book? Lemme know!

  Remember Home (Lawfully Gifted)

Remember Home - CPO John Griffin’s story

  Dear John…

For teacher Lily Hogan, those words would come to mean so much. She knew that giving back to the community brought joy into people’s lives. When her fourth-grade class writes letters to the military overseas in Afghanistan, she takes up her own pen and leads her students by example – writing a letter to an unknown soldier.

CPO John Griffin and his K-9 dog, Radar, have been through so much together over the last several years. Sniffing out bombs, searching the hills and mentoring his team, he feels so alone and unsure of his future- until a letter reminds him that there’s more to life in this world he’s protecting. Simple words, a kind gesture and feeling that he isn’t forgotten out there in the desert, compels him to write back. Before long, he finds himself looking forward to the care packages and letters from his pen-pal halfway across the world.

With every letter and every word, they begin to develop a friendship and wonder what the other person is truly like? Major life changes are scary enough as it is - but is it possible to fall in love with someone before you’ve even laid eyes upon them? Can the magic of the season bring the sweetest gift of all?

Every cloud has a silver lining...

Marigold Riley always enjoyed spinning negative events into something positive, no matter how bad things got. She’s chipper, upbeat, outgoing, savoring every moment as a chance to grow and thrive, just like her floral shop. She was envious of the love she saw her friends shared, realizing that she would need to pursue her own chances for love by writing the mysterious Ben Watson.

Ben Watson was a no-nonsense guy with little tolerance for drama… just like his dog, Paladin. He’s driven, hardworking, and well respected by his peers for his clinical analysis of a bad situation. When Ben receives an unexpected care package from Marigold, he’s intrigued and inexplicably drawn to her radiant personality.

Will Ben’s brooding personality dim the effervescent light in Marigold’s soul? Could two opposites have a chance - even miles apart? Perhaps loving her will guide him down a path to happiness that he’s only dreamed of?

  Remember Honor

Both struggled growing up, reaching out to the faceless person on the other side of the world- a person who seemed to understand and care. The first rule in being friends was honoring each other’s privacy- no real names, no photos, and absolutely no details.

Her childhood internet friend has been there. He used to talk her through her fears, the ups and downs of dating, as well as starting her own business. Time has a way of slipping by but twenty-four years later – he is no longer anonymous nor is he a teenager anymore.

Aaron Ichiyo is the billionaire mastermind behind the software company A. I.. When he chooses to hire a marketing firm to launch his latest product – he finds the owner of the company is enchanting. When tragedy strikes, Jemma steps in for support just like the friend he once had. When identities are discovered, can their friendship blossom into true love… even when they are worlds apart?
