ROBERT LEVY is an author of unsettling stories and plays whose work has been seen Off-Broadway. A Harvard graduate subsequently trained as a forensic psychologist, his work has been called "frank and funny" (Time Magazine), "idiosyncratic and disarming" (The New York Times), "ambitious and clever" (Variety), "smart" (The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction) and "bloody brave" (the UK's SFX Magazine).

His first novel, the contemporary dark fairy tale The Glittering World (Gallery/Simon & Schuster) was a finalist for both the Lambda Literary Award and the Shirley Jackson Award. Shorter work has appeared in Black Static, Shadows & Tall Trees, and The Best Horror of the Year, among others.

Robert lives in his native Brooklyn near a toxic canal, where he is awaiting his mutant powers to develop any day now. He can also be found at TheRobertLevy.com.

BRACKEN MACLEOD has survived car crashes, a near drowning, being shot at, a parachute malfunction, and the bar exam. So far, the only incident that has resulted in persistent nightmares is the bar exam. He is the author of the novels Mountain Home, Come to Dust, and Stranded, which was a finalist for the Bram Stoker Award, and a collection of short fiction, 13 Views of the Suicide Woods. He lives outside of Boston with his wife and son, where he is at work on his next novel.

LUCIANO MARANO is a newspaper reporter, photographer and author. His award-winning journalism, both written and photographic, has appeared in a number of regional and national publications. His short fiction has also been featured in several digital, print and audio outlets. A U.S. Navy veteran, he enjoys running, craft beer, movies (especially horror and documentary films), traveling to new places and oldies music. His favorite book is Something Wicked This Way Comes. His favorite movie is Point Break. If he could have any superpower, he'd choose Wolverine-style healing abilities (or maybe just the ability to grow Wolverine-style sideburns). He lives near Seattle, Washington.

RAMIRO PEREZ DE PEREDA: Born in Cuba in 1941, Ramiro Perez de Pereda has seen it all. Growing up in a time when then-democratic Cuba was experiencing unprecedented foreign investment, he was exposed to the U.S. pop culture items of the day. Among them: pulp fiction magazines, which young Ramiro avidly read and collected. Far and away, his favorites were the Conan the Barbarian stories by Robert E. Howard. Ramiro, now retired from the corporate life, is a grandfather of five. He devotes himself to his family, his writing, and the occasional pen-and-ink sketch. He writes poetry and short fiction under the name R. Perez de Pereda. He serves Darkwater Syndicate as its Head Acquisitions Editor—he heads the department, he does not collect heads, which is a point he has grown quite fond of making. Indeed, it’s one reason he likes his job so much.

NATHAN ROBINSON lives in Scunthorpe, England. He's contributed to over twenty different anthologies so far, with lots more on the horizon.   He is currently completing four collections of his own work, the first entitled Devil Let Me Go which was released in 2013. His novella Ketchup on Everything was released in 2014 to rave reviews. His novella Midway was released by Severed Press in 2015, followed by Caldera in 2016.

MATT SHAW is the published author of over 100 titles—all readily available on Amazon. He is one of the United Kingdom's leading—and most prolific—horror authors, regularly breaking the top ten in the chart for Amazon's Most Popular Horror Authors.

With work sometimes compared to Stephen King, Richard Laymon and Edward Lee, Shaw is best known for his extreme horror novels (The infamous Black Cover Range), Shaw has also dabbled in other genres with much success; including romance, thrillers, erotica and dramas.

Despite primarily being a horror author, Shaw is a huge fan of Roald Dahl—even having a tattoo of the man on his arm; something he looks to whenever he needs a kick up the bum or inspiration to continue working!

As well as pushing to release a book a month, Shaw's work is currently being translated for the Korean market and he is currently working hard to produce his own feature length film. And speaking of films … Several film options have been sold with features in the very early stages of de
velopment.

Matt Shaw lives in Southampton (United Kingdom) but is looking to move in with you in the near future.

He also thinks someone called Donnie is an idiot.

SCOTT SMITH is the author of two novels, A Simple Plan and The Ruins.

TIM WAGGONER has published close to forty novels and three collections of short stories. He writes original dark fantasy and horror, as well as media tie-ins, and his articles on writing have appeared in numerous publications. He’s won the Bram Stoker Award, been a finalist for the Shirley Jackson Award and the Scribe Award, his fiction has received numerous Honorable Mentions in volumes of Best Horror of the Year, and he’s twice had stories selected for inclusion in volumes of Year’s Best Hardcore Horror. He’s also a full-time tenured professor who teaches creative writing and composition at Sinclair College in Dayton, Ohio.
