by Katie Tallo
My awesome agent, David Halpern, is the best. He’s been my sounding board, editor, advocate, and champion for the past six years. His easy manner, his kindness, his humor, his intellect, and his brilliant advice have made this foray into novel-writing an unexpected delight. His team has always been generous with their time and their ideas. I still can’t believe he agreed to represent me. Lucky for me, he did.
And last but most definitely not least, I’d like to thank another amazing woman in my life. My sweet daughter. My Alex. She is my reason. My reason for writing, for getting out of bed in the morning, for telling stories. She is my best friend, my daughter, my heart. It is through her eyes that I can see the mother, the woman, the writer that I might still become.
This book is hers.
All except for a tiny corner reserved for my sweet pup to chew on. My Levi. Gone, but never forgotten.
