Her back arched when his lips reached between her thighs. His tongue flicked over her clit, causing her to give a tiny shudder. Her skin was so soft, so warm, so inviting. The sounds she made as he pleasured her made everything tighten and burn inside of him. His flames went wild. Everything was so perfect. She was so perfect!
Fiona gave a short little cry and shuddered. Her hands pulled at his hair while she pressed her thighs so tight to his face that Patrick was almost trapped. Although there were few places he’d rather be stuck than there, where he could give her so much.
“No, no,” she panted, her back arching already. “You have to stop.”
Patrick kissed her inner thigh. “Why?”
“Because if you don’t, I’m going to finish without you. You have to take me now. Take me. Please. I want you inside of me.”
“But maybe—” Patrick started to tease.
“Now!”
Patrick laughed as he freed himself from her frenzied grasp. He lay over her, parting her knees with his. Fiona panted as she wrapped her arms around him, her fingers digging into his skin. He loved the way she looked at him. Loved it. Kissing her slowly, deeply, he entered her. She was already so slick that his movements were easy. The way she tightened around him nearly made him lose it right there.
“Control,” he reminded himself as he lay a hand on her hip.
“Control,” she agreed.
He started off slowly, making sure that she could catch onto his rhythm. Fiona thrust her hips up, matching his timing. Together, they grew faster and faster. Soon the only thing in the entire world was the two of them. The feeling of her warmth surrounding him, the taste of their kisses. Her moans in his ears. He gasped and cried out as pleasure coursed through him, making him tremble.
Then everything tightened. He felt her squeeze down on him in a rapid flutter and he emptied, thrusting hard in a disjointed motion until he couldn’t move anymore. They collapsed together, panting, sweat-slicked skin sticking together.
Fiona’s fingers combed through his hair as she whispered in his ear, but the blood pounding through him was still too loud to hear.
It took several minutes for him to come back to himself. When he did, he pulled away from Fiona, smiling as she grinned at him. Her eyes sparkled with mischief, and he rose a brow. “Is there something I can help you with?”
“No. It’s just…” She cuddled a little closer to him. “Here’s the thing. I love you, too. You are strong and brave and handsome. And I love how stubborn you are. It annoys the hell out of me sometimes, like your insistence on using foul language when I’ve asked you not to—"
“Hey, you use it often enough yourself.”
“Only because you’ve corrupted me.” Fiona stuck her tongue out at him. “But I love you. And not despite your flaws. I love you because of your flaws. I love everything about you. I love you. I love you.”
“I think you like saying that.” Patrick laughed.
She nodded. “I do like saying it. Because it’s true. I love you.”
“I love you, too.” Patrick rubbed her cheek with his thumb, loving the light in her eyes, the highlights in her hair… loving everything about her. “I love you more than anything. I am yours, Fiona Tadfield. Yours for life.”
“And I’m yours,” Fiona replied, sounding choked up with emotion.
They kissed, bodies wound together. One in spirit and heart. And it was good.
