HIDDEN WITNESS 4: DOMINIC'S STORY Page 23

by Posey Parks

The waiter approached carrying a tray with two Bloody Mary’s. “How’s everything?”

  “Good,” I stated.

He placed the drinks on the table next to our plates. “The drinks were sent courtesy of Mr. Magarelli.” I peeked around the restaurant. Dominic was nowhere to be found.

I glanced at the waiter. “Thank you.”

Paisley held her head, sipping the Bloody Mary.

“I can’t stand V8 juice, but I was told these are the best drinks for a hangover.”

I smirked, choking down the cold beverage. “Do you remember anything that happened last night?”

She squinted. “Yeah, throwing dollars into the air and watching the bills rain over the stripper’s hard bodies.”

I grinned. “That was fun.” I snickered.

“Dominic and Brian helped us to our room. You passed out the second you hit the bed. I remember begging Dominic to stay, but he wouldn’t.”

“Thank goodness we didn’t have to stumble through the casino alone.”

  I nodded.

“Carmen, I’ve been meaning to ask you. Why aren’t you having an elaborate, over the top wedding?”

“You know I don’t care about wearing frilly clothes. Dominic insisted I wear dresses most of the time. Jeans are like a second skin to me. Once I move to New Jersey, I’ll probably hide in my house wearing whatever I want. Comfort’s my middle name. Sometimes you have to compromise especially when you’re marrying the governor’s son.”

“True. You chose to fall for the most well-dressed guy at Stanford.”

“Paisley at the time it was just a crush. He was out of my league. Shit, he still is. Dominic saw past my inexpensive wardrobe. Honestly, I’m still not sure what he saw.”

She placed her hand over mine. Her blue eyes lit up and her face turned a shade of pink. “You. Those big innocent brown eyes will tug at a man’s heart strings.

Yesterday, I saw how, bat shit crazy, in love with you he is. The way his eyes swept over your face it was like only you existed. Are you sure you don’t want your family and friends to witness the love you two share?”

I fiddled with my fingers. “That’s just it. I want to enjoy every moment of my big day with him. He’s Italian and they usually only have large weddings. I feel a little selfish not letting everyone witness our big day, but this is what I want. Dominic has agreed to give me what I want. Considering he gets what he wants ninety percent of the time he can bend this one time.”

“Ok.” She raised her hands, surrendering.

“Thanks for taking time out of your busy life. How did John feel about our bachelorette weekend?”

She shrugged. “He was fine. John told me to tell you congratulations.”

I smiled. “Tell him I said thanks. We should order two more Bloody Mary’s and go for a swim.”

  “That sounds great!”

  CHAPTER FORTY-TWO

  DOMINIC

A few months back, I flew to New York, New York.

Sitting in a corner booth in the half empty old Italian restaurant, I waited. Teck and Rémy held their hands in front of them wearing, menacing scowls posted next to me. The bell over the front door rang.

  “He’s here, Dom.”

  I nodded.

  “Tense much,” my cousin snickered.

I stood, shook his hand, and leaned in kissing both his cheeks.

“Cautious that’s all. Have a seat, Demetrio.”

His arms widened in his expensive Italian suit. “Who the fuck are you my priest?” he chuckled. Call me Demetri.”

I waved my hand to the left. “Hey it’s been a long time since I last saw you. And that wasn’t a good time.”

“I know it’s been fourteen years since your brother passed away. If my brother wasn’t here anymore, I think it would feel like a knife in my gut daily.”

“Yup, it felt like that for years. Now I try not to think about him. What the fuck am I going to do. I can’t bring him back. My focus is the family.”

  “Are we eating or not?”

“Yeah, of course. I haven’t been here since I was a boy. This was my grandmother’s favorite restaurant. I’ll never forget she spoke in Italian throughout dinner.”

Demetri’s bluish gray eyes scanned the vintage Italian restaurant. “Yeah, nothing but good memories.”

The waiter approached and we ordered a bottle of red wine and our meals.

“You reached out to me why, Demetri?”

My hands formed a steeple in front of me on the table.

He slicked his fingers through his medium length dirty blond hair.

“I want to discuss business. My brother Gabriel…”

“Yeah, everyone calls him Gabe for short,” I retorted.

He nodded and smirked. “Yup. Gabriel has been the boss of our family for six years now. I assist him with certain problems and acquiring of businesses.”

The waiter returned with a basket of bread and poured wine into our glasses.

I sniffed the wine taking in the black current and cherry wood flavors.

“Let me guess. You want a piece of the New Jersey pie.”

He smirked, leaning in with greedy eyes. “Of course.”

I glared at him. “Then you know our grandfather’s went their separate ways long ago. Sal in New Jersey Saul in New York. They didn’t want a piece of each other’s territory.”

“Times have changed, Dom.” He ran his hand over his beard.

“Remember I am not the boss yet. I am the acting boss.”

I sat back twirling my fork in my spaghetti. “What do you want, Demetri?”

He slid a fork full of chicken alfredo into his mouth. The mozzarella and the fresh tomatoes sauce filled my nose. The best Italian food you could order at a restaurant.

“A gambling spot. I’d plan to raise the fee per bet.”

I dropped my fork. “Are you trying to draw attention to us? You can’t do that right away. Raise it a point at a time. Like every three months.”

  He nodded. “Sounds doable.”

My eyes turned cold as ice. “Don’t come into New Jersey only for me to lay you out, later because you gave me shit.”

He grinned, and sipped his wine. “We’re cousins for fuck sakes. Relax, Dominic.”

There would be no relaxing. I was going against what my grandfather wanted. All so I could have a stake in New York.

  My jaw twitched. “Deal, Demetri.”

We shook hands then continued eating.

The day I worked so hard for had finally arrived. I was graduating with my law degree. My summer would be consumed with studying for the bar then I’d take the exam.

Sharing this monumental time in my life with family was nice. However, all I needed was Carmen. Not that it wasn’t good seeing my mom, dad, and sister. But having my queen at my side who helped me through the darkest times of my life was at the forefront of my mind. I doubted myself a few times. Pushing those negative thoughts aside I kept going.

  OUR WEDDING DAY

  DOMINIC

My bride didn’t care about the latest trends of fashion. She was simplistic, yet elegant in her own way. The off the shoulder white wedding dress with embroidered flowers cascaded over her breasts and stomach. She was a goddess. A slender braided off-white belt wrapped around her waist. The long tulle train covered her stilettos. There was a playful glint in Carmen’s slightly slanted brown eyes. A smile curled at the ends of her gorgeous lips. Her diamond-shaped face, little round nose, and heart shaped plump, pink lips gave me a boner the size of New Jersey. I loved every time she gave me lip and stared up at me through those long lashes. So many times, I wanted to fuck her so long and hard she’d beg for her next orgasm.

There was a double-edged sword that lived within. I wanted men to notice my woman, but understand that she belonged to me. There were men who didn’t know when to turn away, stop staring at what didn’t belong to them. For example, her research partner. He stared at her like ev
ery night she was the star of his pornographic dreams. I bit my tongue a few times. Fuck that, I bit my tongue more than I ever had. Every bone in my sadistic body was telling me to carve his fucking eyes out of his skull. Once we returned to San Jose, I’ll have a talk with Gilbert. I smiled harder freeing the thought of that fucker from my mind. The sun radiated her caramel golden-brown skin. She strolled down the aisle carrying a fresh bouquet of pale blue roses.

Carmen placed her soft hand in mine. The light breeze brushed her flowing curls over her shoulders.

Standing under the gazebo lined with pale blue roses, I stared into Carmen’s eyes. Our day had finally arrived. Almost ten years ago, I peered into her eyes. A craving and a need grew inside. The moment I saw her again a desire I never knew developed. Making her mine was what fueled me. All I cared about was stalking her and learning everything I could about her. I’d say all my hard work paid off. Now she’s mine.

Carmen and I took turns saying I do, and sliding wedding bands on each other’s left fingers.

The moment I waited for my whole life had arrived.

“You may now kiss the bride,” the officiant said, flashing her bright smile.

Caressing Carmen’s face, I gazed into her eyes.

“I love you, mia bella.” My lips crushed hers. Her hands massaged my waist and a soft moan escaped her throat. A wave of calmness fell over me. Carmen was all mine.

  CARMEN

I always felt guilty when Dominic stared at me. He desired me more than anything else in his life. Why would a man have such deep desires for a woman? His black hair was combed off his head, forming a sea of curls. The sides were trimmed lower. His mustache and beard neatly dusted his face. Fuck he was a dream come true. My dream come true.

“You two make a beautiful couple.” I wish you both lifelong happiness,” the officiant stated.

“Thank you,” Dominic and I said.

She was sweet. And I sensed she was genuinely happy for us.

Our ceremony was recorded so we’d be able to share our joyous occasion with friends and family.

The photographer posed Dominic and I throughout the hotel garden.

“That’s a wrap, Mr. and Mrs. Magarelli. It was fun photographing you two.”

Dominic shook his hand and we thanked him for his services.

I faced Dominic, intertwined our fingers, and leaned into him.

“This day feels like a dream. At times I thought we’d never get married. Between your family and school. I wanted to drag you down to the justice of the peace and tie the knot. I’ve waited years to have sex.”

“Damn, you only wanted to marry me to have sex?” He placed his hand over his heart. “I thought you loved me.”

  “Funny.”

“I guess we’ll eat later. Sounds like you want to get right to it. We were supposed to wait until tomorrow when we arrived in New York on our two-week honeymoon excursion.”

“Dominic, I doubt it will be any less perfect today than it will be tomorrow.”

He turned his head to the sky and chuckled.

“Dominic, come on. It’s time,” I whispered.

“Three times you came to my apartment and behaved strange. I never asked you about it.”

He swept my hair behind my ear. “I know. And you’re right. I was going through really dark times. Are you ready to face the world? The moment we walk through those doors people will record us and post the pics on social media.”

I placed my hand against his white and black tuxedo. “No. Is there another way we can take to our room?”

  “Through the kitchen.”

I nodded. Dominic held me close as we strolled through the kitchen. The waiters and cooks smiled and cheered.

  Dominic waved. “Thank you, everyone.”

We entered the elevator. He placed a key in the wall panel and turned it. He pressed the button for the twenty-fifth floor.

He pulled me into his arms, kissing my hair. The elevator doors opened to a lavish view of the strip. He swooped me up into his arms, carrying me over the threshold, then placed me on my feet. I strolled across the room, peering at the circular sofa in the drop-down living room. The gray walls and the ceiling were trimmed in crimson red. My fingers lingered on the u-shaped wooden chair with plush red cushions. “Dominic, it’s beautiful.”

He wrapped his arm around my waist holding me under the sparkling chandelier. His lips swept along my warm skin. I clenched my clammy hands. Carmen breathe. My lids lowered and I exhaled. My heart thudded my chest at rapid speeds. I knew he could feel my heart. My pulsating heart vibrated my entire body.

“Carmen, I wouldn’t ever hurt you. I thought we established that.”

“I know.” I tried swallowing past what felt like cotton balls.

Turning in his arms, I peered into his eyes. His smile was sneaky and wicked. “What did he plan to do to me?”

His fingers lingered along my zipper, lowering it slow.

“Do you like the way I make you feel when I rub your clit?”

  Shit, fuck. “Yes,” I breathed.

I shoved his tuxedo jacket down his arms. He caught it and threw it on one of the four chairs.

“I waited a long time to make love to you.” He gripped my neck, kissing my earlobe. “Do you know why?”

“No,” I moaned. My fingernails dug into his biceps.

“Because I needed to…Break. You. Down.”

I gasped as my mouth dropped open.

“I knew you’d never get enough of this dick.”

  “What…” I whimpered.

“That’s why I waited to give you this cock.” Cockiness poured over his words.

He placed my hands at my sides and my wedding dress slipped down my slender frame to the floor.

Dominic pulled his lower lip into his mouth. His green eyes roamed my body. “I’ve wanted to fuck you ever since I saw you in line at the coffee shop,” he growled. He gripped my ass, pulling me up into his big strong arms. I wrapped my arms around his neck.

“I’ll teach you how to ride this dick just right.” He strolled up the stairs never breaking our gaze. “You are the only woman who’ll ever know how to totally please me.”

My forehead creased. “Dominic, why me?”

He walked us into the bedroom. “Because you act invisible.”

Dominic laid me under him on the bed.

“You never see the men staring at you walking across campus dressed in jean shorts, a tank top, sneakers, and that fucking high ponytail. I always wanted to yank it and watch you suck my cock.

The reason you were protected and guarded in high school was because your brothers knew you’re fucking beautiful. They didn’t want a guy taking advantage of you. They weren’t sure of my intentions either. I saw just what you are. A fucking ten.” He kissed the tip of my nose. “Now you’re fucking mine. My wife. The next man who stares too long, I’ll rip his fucking eyes out of his sockets.”

  My eyes widened.

He snickered. Amused. “Yeah, you know what I am capable of.”

I swallowed, gripping his shirt and my pussy muscles clenched.

“Yeah, you love that I’m a fucking beast. A savage. A psychopath.” His tongue slicked from my neck over my chin into my mouth.

Dominic captured every last one of my moans.

Fuck, I was probably certifiable for being in love with such a sadistic dangerous man. One who enjoyed cutting hearts out of his enemies’ bodies.

That was our pillow talk sometimes. Crazy how I listened, then drifted off to sleep in his arms. Slept like a baby. Again, what does that make me?

“Into the flames, Dominic,” I purred, arching my back.

His evil laugh excited me. “Good girl.”

I slipped his bow tie from around his neck and ripped his shirt open. I leaned up biting his bottom lip.

Dominic gripped my hair, yanked my head back, sucking my neck.

“This pussy will be at my mercy, la mia bellissima moglie.”

His beautiful wife, I recited in my head. Yes, I belong to Dominic Magarelli.

  DOMINIC

I unhooked her strapless bra and pulled the straps down with my teeth. Her body quaked under me and I hadn’t even touched her clit. Like I said, I knew our sexual encounter would be mind numbing for her.

Carmen wiggled down and unzipped my tuxedo pants. I stood so she could yank them down my legs. Kicking my pants to the side, I slipped off my shoes. My wife dropped to her knees wearing only panties and silver stilettos. She removed my socks while staring up into my eyes.

“What a fucking sight.” Sweet Dr. Magarelli was my good wife. I’d soon corrupt. I laughed inside.

“On the bed, baby. Lie back.”

I dropped my black boxers. She gasped, reaching for my rock, hard cock.

  “In a minute, sweetheart.”

Slipping my fingers into the sides of her panties, I yanked the lace material down her legs and over her stilettos. I held them under my nose, inhaling her sweet pussy. Carmen licked her lips never tearing her eyes away. I held her panties between my lips. Her chest rose and fell. Pure lust simmered in her eyes, widening her legs, I peeked at her seeping pussy.

  “Almost ready, Mrs. Magarelli.”

I tossed her panties over my shoulder and fell to my knees.
