“Indeed,” replied Marro. “And to be honest, I believe that is the way I prefer.”
“And you have me along with you. So your choice is adventure and misfortune then,” said Kaysa.
“You have chronicled the story of my life right there, young one,” he said before laughter racked him fully. It was a sound that surprised Kaysa, yet it was a laughter she gladly welcomed.
And though the adventure had concluded, both friends new that their stories were just beginning.

Or is it simply the Beginning?
