“Yes, let’s do it.” I jump into his arms and seal our renewed love with a passionate, toe curling kiss.
“Let’s go home.” We say at the same time and head for the cabin’s door. Being snowed in with Thomas wasn’t so bad after all.
Epilogue
“I can’t believe what I’m seeing. Are you two sure you want to be doing this?” Judge Denton asks, reading over the marriage license.
“Never more sure of anything in my whole life.” Ginger answers, a big happy grin lighting up her face.
“I feel the same way your honor. I want to be married to this woman for the rest of my life.” Thomas hugs Ginger close against his chest.
“Then let’s do this before I come to my senses.” The judge laughs and begins the marriage ceremony.
Heather, Theresa, my three siblings and parents applaud as the judge proclaims us husband and wife. I can’t believe my overwhelming joy. Being married to Thomas feels so right.
As we exit the courthouse, our new RV pulls up with a huge “Just Married” sign attached to the back. Yes, we are on our way across the country. If we can survive being snowed in for a week in a small cabin in the mountains, we’ll be just fine living together in an RV. Life is good!
