Risqué 3 Page 3

by Perri Forrest

It’s your fault, Trevor. I was willing to wait a few years for babies. But…

The hardness of his flesh dragged Alyssa back into the moment. With them back in business, she reached for her swollen peach and pushed the rejected condom a little further inside her for safe keeping. Once it was in a secured location, she went savage on Trevor’s babymaker.

This blow job was different than all the others. She wasn’t just there to please him; she was stalling. It was all in an effort to give those Rossi swimmers time to get familiar with their new domain. To see if at least one of them would make it to the sacred place. That sacred place that would bond her to him forever.

  5 | TREVOR

  Two minutes.

That’s all it took to realize why it was that I was so tired when I left Alyssa’s place. At first, I won’t lie; it was a bruise to my ego to think that I’d tapped out to the point of near-exhaustion. I mean, not to brag, but my stamina is up there. Like, way the fuck up there. I didn’t move up the ranks in the business by being a pretty-boy. It was the punch I packed behind my zipper. That expertise alone, was why sex was purely leisure now, and not work at all. I’d made all the money I wanted to make. And that wasn’t the only money I had. So, it was more for sport and boredom, than anything. And because, well shit… I fucking love to fuck. It’s not a crime, right?

But one person that I knew for sure wouldn’t be getting within an inch of my zipper anymore, was Alyssa. That lady had issues that even the best take-down couldn’t cure. She needed a psychiatrist in the worst way—one that could afford to have her as their only case. The girl was an energy vampire, and a person who would probably never hold herself accountable for the parts she played in certain bullshit. It seemed like doing that, even at the smallest level, would fucking kill her dead.

As good as the sex was, and as nice as her blow jobs were, she was too unsettled for me. Her lack of maturity wasn’t something I could see myself dealing with. And even more so because after the sex was over, she was back on the same romantic shit. It was as if we hadn’t established that sex was it, for us. Nothing of real substance. Sex. Period. We would never have the ingredients that relationships were made of.

She’d get the message sooner than later, though. That, I would make sure of.

Ten minutes from my exit, and eight minutes from a steaming hot shower, my cellphone rang. Rude Jude was in the middle of talking big shit, on Sirius XM, when I pressed the headset button to take the call.

  “Yep…”

“Wow. That’s so rude,” the voice said, over speaker.

“Not really. Just a greeting. How’s my future wife doing?” Skai’s laughter bounced off the panels of my car. “Where’s the funny?” I asked her.

“If you don’t stop playing with me. You’re out here for everybody. And we both know that.”

“I’m for everybody… because you’re too scared to see that I’m for you.”

“Trevor! I need you to stop that!” she said, through a rage of giggles. I knew she was blushing, I heard it in her voice. “I did not call you for that!” she declared.

“You’re never calling me for that. But one day you will.”

“Absolutely not. You’re in the car right now, huh?” she asked. “Coming from some female’s house, no doubt?”

I nodded and then laughed. I couldn’t help it. “I am coming from some female’s house.”

  “See!”

“See what? That I was honest about it?”

Skai smacked loudly, making me instantly picture the perfect shape of her full lips. “Not that you’re honest about it. That it was just what I said it was. You could never be for me, with the way you get down.”

“You need to find out how I get down so you can—”

“So anyway,” she interrupted. “I was calling to see what you’re doing for your birthday.”

  “Aww, she remembered!”

She laughed. “Duh! You know I always remember your bornday. Did you not get gifts from me the last three years, nut?”

“I know, I know. Just fuckin’ with you.”

“And besides, it’s only a week before my mom’s.”

“Scorpio season is in full effect.”

“For now,” she smirked. “It’s all about Sag, but I’ll let y’all live for this little bit of time y’all got.”

We started laughing at the same time. Skai was literally the easiest woman in my life to deal with. Although, that friend zone was fucking with me. But she was such a good friend that I didn’t want to violate that space. Not aggressively, anyway. As much as I teased and flirted with her, I wouldn’t make a move in that direction unless she green-lighted it. I respected her that much.

“Alright, well Miss Sagittarius, I was going to call you tonight to see if you were coming out this way, because I am having a party for my birthday. One of CiCi’s friends said that we could use their mansion for a night.”

  “Trevor?”

  “What?”

“A mansion? For what? Do you even hang out with enough people to fill a mansion? I mean, unless it’s going to be all your whores.”

“You continue going down that path, huh? But don’t want to eliminate these so-called whores by coming to your senses.”

“You’re twenty-five years old, Trevor. You know you’re not ready to settle down.”

  “That sounds like a proposition.”

“But it’s not. It’s an observation.”

“I’m twenty-six years old. Almost thirty. And I am ready to settle down… with the right person.”

“Well, you know I gotta vet her first.”

  “Yeah okay, Skai.”

This girl wants me so bad it’s not even funny. But she’ll keep playing like she doesn’t.

  “For real.”

“Okay. I’ll let you vet her,” I said, deciding to play along. “It’s probably best that way. You’re still super young. Too young to understand the way of life that goes with a grown-ass man. So, let me stop playin’ with you. Back to the party, though. Are you com—?”

“Uhh, hold on. What do you mean I’m still super young?”

  Ha! I knew she’d bite.

“Okay, well not super young. But you’re just a year over legal, so…”

“In December, it’ll be two years over legal. And for your information, in Brazil and a few other countries, I was legal five years ago.”

I guffawed so hard that I took my eyes off the road momentarily. “Skai... this ain’t Brazil, first of all. And you’re still young. Why are we here? I’m just sayin’… I get it.”

“But you don’t, though. It’s not because I’m young that I…” She cut into her own thought. “Just stop saying that.”

“Okay. Cool. So, are you coming to the party?”

“Yes, I’m coming to the party. I’ll be out there for two whole weeks to spend some time with my matriarchs, and the almost-stepdad.”

  “Almost-stepdad. What the fuck?”

“Yep, Mama’s got a brand-new man. And you helped set it up.”

I put my blinker on to take my exit, then raised the speaker volume. “Repeat that? How the hell did I help set up some shit? I didn’t even know your mom had a man.”

“Remember that box you sat in front of her door over the summer?”

  “Uhh… yeah,” I said, slowly.

“That was the start of it all.”

“Yeah, you wouldn’t even tell me what was in that damn box.”

“Still ain’t tellin’. But you did good.”

“I guess I’m good for something.”

“Yep. So, about this party. I know my Gram got the hookup on the place, but the planning… are you doing that all by yourself?”

“That’s funny. That would be a firm, no. My fairy godmother is.”

  “Your fairy godmother, huh?”

  “Yep.”

  “Is she going?”

  “If she wants to.”

Skai scoffed. “Lord. This should be interes
ting. My Grams is something else. I just love her.”

“Man, I swear she’s the best.”

“Okay… well, I’ll call you later or tomorrow. I just wanted to check in to see if you’re good. Moving around okay. Out of danger. Party deets. Since that all checks out…”

“I appreciate it. Back to one-hundred percent now, and all that good stuff. No present danger. Thanks for the concern.”

“Always gonna be concerned about you, crazy man.”

“Back at you. When you touch down, we’ll hang out a little bit. Grab some food, hit the Fountains. Or whatever.”

“Had to throw the Fountains in there. You know I love that place!”

“You always have. Something about the water, I guess.”

“I think that’s exactly what it is,” she said. “Anyway, can’t wait to hang out.”

“Same here. See you when you land.”

  “K. Hugs!”

I had already pulled into my driveway, but was waiting until our conversation was over before I went inside. After I got out and set my car’s alarm, I glanced across the street at Skai’s house and wondered if she would be staying there, or somewhere else during the visit. My mind also went to that place of wondering whether or not we would ever cross that line with each other.

“Nah…” I said aloud, making my way inside to the shower that was calling my name.

  6 | CICELY

Cicely was having the time of her life planning Trevor’s birthday party. The moment she got the go-ahead, she sprang into action. She had already made her rounds as far as the guest list went. She had also secured a location—an extravagant location, at that. Things were moving right along. And Trevor deserved it. She had a soft spot for the young man, that had become something of a son. He was protective of her, he confided in her, he was there for her. It was why she brought him under her wing as her right-hand, in business. She trusted him wholly. He had proven his loyalty to her time and time again. When she thought that she would lose him, it literally crushed her. But now he was back and whole; and with his birthday near, Cicely wanted to bring it in—in style.

Him still being around to celebrate was huge; especially, when someone had made plans to make sure that he celebrated no more birthdays. There was nothing like the pride Cicely felt when Trevor took that matter into his own hands. CiCi did her part in making the arrangements for the bastard to be picked up. The rest was up to Trevor. Had Trevor not been able to see it through, Cicely had no problems with completing the task.

That’s how she was when it came to family…

“Come on, my sweet parking angels… get me close,” CiCi mumbled under her breath. “You know Mama wants a good spot.” She drove slowly, looking around until she saw the perfect vacancy. “Yesss, sweet baby Jesus…” she mumbled, after sliding in and cutting the engine.

Moments later, Cicely exited her BMW 328i, wearing a black, sleeved Donna Karan jumpsuit, and black four-inch heels. Her natural makeup application was flawless. Her long hair was pulled back, and off her face, accentuating the beat even more.

After making her way through a set of revolving doors, CiCi headed up to the 18th floor, where she stepped into the beautifully-tiled lobby of A Queenz Plan.

“Good afternoon,” the friendly receptionist greeted Cicely, when she arrived at the expensive marble counter.

  “Good afternoon. How are you?”

“I’m well, thank you. How can I help you?”

“I’m here to see Elise Brown, please.”

The woman tapped a few keys on her keyboard. “Can I have your name?” she asked.

“Oh, I’m not on the schedule. I was just hoping to speak to her about an important matter.”

  “I’m sorry, Miss…”

“It’s Cicely. Cicely McCall. I’m a good friend of Queen’s.”

“Umm…” the woman started, with pause. “The most I can do is schedule you for—”

“Is Elise in the office?” Cicely pressed.

“Umm… well, yes she is, but—”

“Get her on the line. I’ve already stood her moments too long. I understand you’re doing a job. But I can promise you that if you don’t get Elise on the line…” Cicely took a pregnant pause. “… you’ll be looking for another receptionist job before the end of the day.”

  ~*~*~

“Whew, chile! I can see how you and the Queen were friends!” Elise exclaimed, in the privacy of her office. “Just hot like fire. You got my poor girl out there scared for her job.”

“That was not my intent,” Cicely stated, as she paced around the office that once belonged to her good friend. She stopped in a few places, admiring the images on the walls. “Beautiful art. I may have to get the name of the artist so that I can buy some pieces for my home.”

“Absolutely.” Elise suddenly appeared right next to her. “I’ll give you a card before you leave.”

“That would be perfect.” Cicely turned to face the young woman. “You know your aunt loved you very much.”

Elise lowered her eyes briefly. “And I loved her very much also.”

“Clearly,” CiCi remarked, looking into Elise’s eyes. “I’m happy to finally meet you in person.”

  “Same here, Miss McCall.”

“Oh sweetie, CiCi is fine.” Reaching out to rub Elise’s shoulder, Cicely offered, “You can even call me Auntie if you’d like.”

“That’s so nice of you. My aunt spoke highly of her boss friend, Cicely McCall.”

“And I still speak highly of her. That diva was the epitome of style and grace. And it seems, at a glance, that you take after her. I remember how prideful she would be whenever she spoke on you pulling off events alongside her—even as a young girl.”

  “Really?” Elise asked.

“Yes, really. She was proud. Extremely proud.”

Elise turned away from hers and CiCi’s conversation, then padded over to her desk. There, she grabbed a Kleenex to stop her makeup from becoming undone by an impromptu flow of tears. “I’m sorry.”

  “Don’t you dare apologize.”

“I’m very happy that you came by today. It was timely. The last few days have been a mess. So, to hear that my aunt had such faith in me, gives me hope.”

“What’s going on?” CiCi asked. She had come for one thing, but she knew that Sable would want her to lend consolation to the niece she loved so dearly. “My shoulder is available.”

Elise’s head twitched side to side as she fought back more tears. “No, I couldn’t do that.” Elise took off toward her window.

Cicely followed closely, then stood between Elise and the window. “Of course, you can,” she said, softly lifting her chin. “Now, talk to me. What’s going on?”

  “You sure you—?”

“I’m absolutely sure. Let’s sit down,” Cicely urged, ushering Elise to nearby seats.

After they were seated, Cicely waited patiently while Elise gathered herself. There was no rush. She had plenty of time to address her reason for stopping by. If being there for Elise took the rest of the day, and into the night, she was going to listen to whatever the young woman had to say.

“I’m sorry it’s taking me so long to get the words out, CiCi.”

“No need to apologize, sweetheart. I’m here for as long as it takes.”

Several more minutes passed before Elise confessed. “It’s my sister. She’s ruining everything. And the messed-up part about it…” She paused briefly. “…is that I almost feel like… like she’s doing it deliberately. I can’t allow her to destroy the integrity of this company. What Queen built. I just… can’t do that.”

And you won’t have to, CiCi wanted to tell her. I promise you won’t have to…

  7 | TREVOR

Never in my life had I stepped into a head doctor’s office. Never really believed in therapy. Always rejected it; because why the fuck would I want to confide in a stranger about my life? I didn’t even have my own parents to confide in, so I learned to either inter
nalize or brush that shit off. Both worked. So, I felt that therapy was a waste of time. I mean, think about it; how could you really benefit from a person sitting across from you, silent for the most part, jotting down your thoughts on a notepad and making a quick assessment of your life? And that shit wasn’t cheap either. Somewhere around $200 an hour.

But fuck. I made more than that an hour, when I pleasured rich women. And I considered myself something like a doctor also.

  Ha!

It took me a while to get out of my own head and look at what I was dealing with, through a different lens. I realized that I had to; because for the first time, I wasn’t able to brush my issue off. It was with me all the time. And internalizing it was starting to fuck with me hard—personally and professionally.

I thought requesting a male therapist would be a good idea. For one, I didn’t know what women Psych’s looked like nowadays, and I couldn’t risk being tempted to fuck the shit out of the person assigned to rape my mind. For two, I figured that confiding in a man, might give me the experience that I never shared with my father, who was always too busy. Too busy for me. He was out having affairs across the country and leaving me, his only child… only son… to be raised by a nanny one minute, and a neglectful Dr. Jekyll & Mrs. Hyde, the next.

With him running the largest elevator conglomerate in the country, he could afford to keep us living in the best lifestyle money could buy. And so, that’s what he did. Outside of that, he donated less than half a fuck to my impressionable years. And even less after that.

So now, here I was in a fancy-ass office ready to be judged, prodded, and diagnosed.

I just hoped these sessions would help. That they’d provide the coping mechanism I needed…

I waited patiently, as Dr. Elliott O’Connell’s cul-de-sac stared at me, from a few yards away. Man, I wanted to laugh so bad at how shiny his dome was. But I kept my composure.

He sifted through sheets of paper on the messy cherrywood desk. What he was looking for, I had no clue. All I knew was that he better not try to cut this session short because he didn’t have his shit together, prior to my arrival. I’d need a strait jacket for real, if he even hinted toward that shit.
