“Okay. I love you,” Mark said.

“I love you too,” Autumn said.

They held hands and walked back to the party.

“Come on, Stephanie, dance with me. It’s not like I’m asking for a date or trying to take advantage of you. I just want to dance,” Caleb begged.

“A dance. That’s all,” Steph said.

Caleb smiled and took her hand. He led her to the dance floor and wrapped his arms around her.

“Well, that’s much better,” Spring said as she walked up to Autumn and Mark.

“Yes it is,” Autumn agreed. “Where’s Steve?”

“Playing with the kids. I think he is the biggest kid of all.” Spring laughed.

  “Probably,” Autumn agreed.

“It’s nice to see Sam and Summer having fun too,” Spring said.

  “It is.” Autumn smiled.

“Are you sure you’re okay with all of us living in your house? It’s a lot.”

“I’m definitely okay with it. This house was designed for a lot of people. It was way too big for just me and Abby.”

“Bella loves it too.” Spring laughed as Bella came up begging for attention.

“It’s nice to have everyone here. We all have our own wings, but we are close enough to enjoy the company.”

“That does make it nice,” Spring agreed.

“You know everyone is having a great time, except for Steph and Caleb. When are they going to stop fighting the attraction?” Autumn pondered.

“I don’t know but when they finally do I’m pretty sure there will be an explosion,” Spring laughed.

Autumn looked over toward Winter who was standing in a corner, by herself as usual. She was texting someone when she turned almost ghostly white. Autumn motioned to Mark and they walked over to her.

  “Winter, what’s wrong?” Autumn asked.

  “Nothing,” she said.

“Winter, don’t make me pull your phone records. What is wrong?” Mark growled. This drew Sam and Steve over immediately. Caleb joined quickly.

Winter turned her phone around and showed a picture of a badly beaten horse with a caption that said, “You’re next.”

“Oh my God, Winter. Who sent this?” Autumn asked.

“I don’t know. I have to get home and check on my horses. Do not follow me. I do not need a bodyguard and I certainly don’t need a man.” She stormed off.

“Great. I’ll call Gene,” Steve said.
