She has tears running down her face and she sucks in a breath when I admit I love her. She goes to talk, but I interrupt her.
“I owe her a whole apology for the hurtful things I said and the way I treated her. Turns out my family has a nasty way of protecting their hearts. I know without a doubt that I won’t be able to live my life without her in it. She is my other half, my heart, my secret to happiness.”
She gets up to stand and I walk around the desk to meet her halfway and grab her to me, wrapping my arms around her.
“I’m so sorry, baby,” I say earnestly. “Please give me another chance.”
Pulling her face away from my chest, she looks at me with her expressive, watery eyes. “No, I’m the one who is sorry, Asa.”
There is nothing else to say, we both know what we want, and I’m taking it. I crash my mouth to hers and she opens right up. The second our tongues are reacquainted it feels as if everything in the world has shifted back into focus and rights itself.
She tastes sweet like happiness and in my arms she feels like forever after. Hillary is my world, and I’ll be damned if I ever let her go again. It may not have started out the way most relationships do, but it’s ending with us.
The two of us together, celebrating life, love and Valentine’s Day for the rest of our fucking lives.
Epilogue
One Year Later
Hillary
Who would have ever thought my life would turn out this way? I couldn’t be happier. Seriously. I’ve always been ultra focused, known what I’ve wanted for a long time, but those were just things and accomplishments. Now I have so much more. Now I have love, and Asa and me are as happy as two people can be.
I never thought when I started my business centered around helping people find their life companions, that I would find my own. I never wanted to find love. I didn’t care about it. Not for myself.
I only wanted to help others find their one and only. I thought true love was for other folks. I never in a million years thought this would happen to me.
It’s funny though. I guess it’s always when you’re not looking for something, that you find it, and then you realize that you’ve been missing it and needing it all along.
I’ve found what I’ve been missing with Asa.
Before him, I was an independent woman who owned her own thriving business, a big house, a luxury car and thought all of those ‘things’ meant that I was happy. I thought I had it all figured out.
I thought if anything, I was the one who could help ‘lost’ people find love. But little did I know that the only person who didn’t have it all figured out like I’d thought... was me.
It’s not that all of a sudden I’m running to get married and settle down with babies or anything, but now that Asa and I are together I want to share everything with him and do whatever I can to make him happy. Because I’ll have you know, I would do anything for my sexy soldier.
When he told me about his time in Afghanistan, I couldn’t believe everything he had been through. I couldn’t believe everything he had lived with since being home. It made my heart hurt for him. It also made my heart open for him.
I have to admit that I didn’t give much daily thought to the sacrifices our servicemen and women make every day, but getting to know Asa has allowed me to see things from a new perspective. It made me want to help. Made me want to reach out and support our troops in a way that only I can.
That’s why Asa and I have decided to find love for the soldiers. They get half off for the price of my services, and I try my hardest to match them up. Because who wouldn’t love a soldier?
Since I’ve added this service to my business, it has taken off in a huge way. I’ve seen a surge in social media follows and post shares, and I’ve also had three interviews with local and national news outlets. They love the new service and especially how it came to be, because of me finding love with Asa. It’s a great story.
If things keep up like this, I may have to hire another matchmaker, or maybe even two at the rate I’m going.
Asa has been very supportive and loves sitting in on the interviews. Lord knows he has the celebrity looks. He calls himself Mr. Cupid. It’s hysterical honestly.
My new “couple whisperer” matched his friend Mark (fresh home from the Middle East), with a hot Kindergarten teacher named Serena. I don’t want to be too hopeful, because I try not to get emotionally invested in any of my (or Asa’s) matches, but I really think they hit it off. Asa thinks so too, but it’s too soon to tell.
Asa’s own career has been taking off too. He has been busy getting his new business started. Security systems. He’s taking all that training he’s had in the Overwatch Division and is putting it to good use.
Sometimes I worry it might be too dangerous, but he assures me it’s nothing too bad. Mainly he installs security systems and acts as the occasional bodyguard to the rich and famous whenever they hire him.
He’s been making quite the reputation for himself around town, and if things continue to move in this direction, he could have a full-blown security agency in a year or so.
That of course is if that’s what he wants that. Since he doesn’t leave my side very often, I’m not sure how building a large security firm will ever happen. I’m not complaining though. We have a great relationship, lots of sex, and I’d be fine if things didn’t change one iota.
We bought a new place and moved in together a few months ago, and things have been like a dream. I thought I loved my life before, but I was so wrong. It is so much better with Asa by my side, in my bed, and a part of my everyday routine.
And it’s only getting better.
It’s technically a holiday in my line of work, so I’ve been working from home today, creating profiles for a few new clients, and recording their interests so I can better match them with someone when Asa walks through the front door.
“Hey, beautiful. I missed you all day,” he says to me.
“I missed you too, lover.”
He kisses me long and hard, deepening it and then running his hands down my back and grabbing my ass.
“Lover, huh?”
“That’s what you are.”
“I’m many things to you, but your lover is definitely what I want to be right now, baby. I’ve been waiting all day for this.”
He slides one of his hands inside the waist of my pants. Pulling my thong up the crack of my ass.
“I want you now,” he whispers into the skin of my neck.
“I want you too,” I say back, flinging my arms around his neck.
He runs his lips and tongue down my neck, and then whispers in my ear for me to dance for him.
I gave Asa my version of a lap dance right before I gave him his first blowjob from me. I didn’t know what I was doing, but I just winged it and he loved it. Now he asks me to give him a dance all the time.
I think I’ve created a monster.
“Again, Asa?”
“Right now.”
“You’re so spoiled.”
“I love to watch your ass jiggle when you dance for me. I can’t help it. You should charge me to watch. It’s that good.”
He’s lying. A good stripper I am not, but that’s okay. My man isn’t picky.
I turn on the bluetooth speaker and tap open a playlist on my phone. I titled it “Asa’s Hits”. All songs that I dance to for him.
I start to gyrate my hips to the beat of the first song and slowly begin to peel off some of my clothing.
He groans, his dick getting harder by the second by the way he strokes it through his pants. He’s practically salivating. It makes me feel so desirable. So wanted. So loved.
I remove my shirt first, then my pants. Then I remove the rest and lean with my back against the wall. Waiting for him to tell me what to do next.
“Turn around,” he demands.
I do as he says as he falls to his knees before me. I’m leaning against the bare living room wall of the new home he and I bought t
ogether.
“Face on the wall. Hips forward,” he says.
I press my face and palms flat on the wall as he kneels on his knees behind me. I hear his belt hit the floor, and he grabs both of my thighs and spreads my legs apart.
His tongue is on my pussy in record speed as he growls against my clit. I lean forward more, sticking my ass out higher to give him more access. And then, he goes full throttle on my pussy.
He acts like he’ll die if he doesn’t make me come. He flicks, swipes, and drags his tongue all through my folds. Savoring my wetness. My flesh pulses with need, and I moan against the cool wall.
I close my eyes, no longer caring about the mundane issues I ended up dealing with today. All I care about is right now. This moment. It feels exquisite. Asa always knows what to do to make feel this way.
Please let him never stop.
Right now, he makes no plans to stop feasting on me. He continues his assault in between my legs and then finally he lifts his mouth away from my scorching hot skin.
“Do you like me on my knees, baby?”
“Yes.”
“This is what your dancing does to me. This is what you do to me. That’s why I ask for it. You want more?”
“Yes,” I moan, missing his mouth on me.
“I think I need you to dance some more first.” He lies his back on the floor. “Sit on my face. Ride me and play with your tits. Give me a show I won’t forget.”
I do as he says, positioning myself on top of his lips, my body facing our living room window for anyone to see. Grabbing my tits, I massage them as I wind my hips on top of Asa’s face to the tune of a sexy 1990’s ballad.
I was what you considered a ‘cold fish’ with my last sexual partner. A total bore in bed. But I feel like I can do anything with Asa. He brings the freak out in me, and I’m willing to try all sorts of new things with him. Including dancing for him. He makes me feel that comfortable. That sexy. That safe.
Asa pulls me down at the hips and sticks his tongue further inside me. I ride on it with pleasure and can feel my orgasm building. I lean my head back, moaning into the air. I always come fast in this position.
I grind my clit against his nose, harder and faster. He holds my ass with both hands, pushing me closer to him. I’m so close to coming. I can’t even think straight. I can’t even imagine my life before this. Before Asa.
Was there a before?
Shit, I don’t remember.
He unexpectedly slaps one of my ass cheeks. Catapulting me out of my head and into the moment. The vibration of the smack and the fluttering of his tongue take me over the cliff.
“Dammit, Asa!”
All the searching for my release happens in a flash. In a quick burst, the orgasm runs like fire and ice through my veins and over my skin.
I come hard on his face, and I don’t stop moving my hips as I ride it out. He sucks and licks and grips and grabs at my delicate skin as my orgasm continues to fall tumbling down.
This is it right here. The holy grail of orgasms. The one I’ve wanted my whole life. A pleasure so pure I can’t deny how it’s changed me. Changed me into a full-blown nymphomaniac. I’ll never be able to deny my body this sweet feeling ever again. Especially from the man I pray will always give them to me.
I lean my head back and moan Asa’s name over and over as he licks me clean. My body collapses along the floor as I slide off him.
He sits up with a grin across those gorgeous lips of his. The lips that just sent me to another stratosphere.
“I’m nowhere near done with you yet.” He smiles, licking his tongue across his bottom lip. “Damn, I wish they made pussy-flavored ice cream.”
He laughs and I sit up and smack him on the arm.
“It’d be a bestseller among men.” I giggle.
“If it tasted like yours, it sure would be.” His eyes pour into mine. “Of course I’d be the only customer.”
“You’re so crazy.”
“I’m just telling the truth, baby.”
I stare at Asa quietly for a moment and consider where we started and where we are now. It’s been a rocky but fast road to our happiness. I’m so grateful we’ve landed safely. With each other. In love with each other.
“I love you, Asa.”
He kisses me and then carries me into our bedroom, lying me gently down on the bed.
“And I love you,” he says, running his fingertips down the side of my face. “I have something for you.”
He leans over the bed and reaches his arm underneath, pulling out a black box with a red ribbon. He hands it to me with an odd look on his face.
“When did you put that under there?” I ask as I untie the ribbon.
“Happy Valentine’s Day.”
“I thought we weren’t exchanging gifts.”
“We aren’t. I’m giving you something.”
“Cheater.” I smile.
The box is kind of the size of a glove box. There’s folded red tissue paper inside. I unfold it to reveal only more tissue paper. This time, the color is white. Then another layer of tissue paper. This layer is pink. And I can feel something hard through this layer.
I open the taped layer of paper and find a simple platinum and solitaire diamond ring inside. It takes my breath away. It’s gorgeous.
“Oh, my God.”
“I need to arrange a match,” he says.
“Asa.”
“She has to own her own business. She has to be beautiful. She has to give lap dances. And she has to agree to ride on the back of my bike on Friday nights and sometimes Sundays.“
“Those are a lot of requirements.” I grin.
“She can meet them all and then some.”
“Yeah, I think she can.”
“Baby, on this day a year ago you listened to my crazy sister and agreed to go on a date with me. It was the best night of my life and turned into the best year of my life. Will you make me the happiest man in the world and become mine?”
“Well–”
His face drops.
“Well, what?!”
“I’m yours already."
I climb on top of Asa and kiss him long and hard. Happy that we will now be officially joined together for the world to see. Proud that I will be his wife.
We make love all night long.
Celebrating our past.
Celebrating the best moments that are yet to come.
And with the moon peeking out between the clouds, somewhere before dawn he whispers in my ear.
“You never answered the question.”
Needless to say, I gave him the only answer there could ever be as I stare into his eyes.
“Yes.”
