Thank you to Keve Szatmari (check out his work at @szatmari_keve) for giving my book a cover and turning it into a reality. It was a process to get there but we did it – thank you for agreeing to work with me.
This book could have been published several years ago. But, for many reasons it wasn’t. One reason it has come to fruition now is because of my boyfriend and best friend Hayden. Although it has been difficult for him as someone who is not a natural reader or a lover of fiction, he has worked relentlessly to support and encourage me.
My beta readers Eleanor, Sophie, Brandon, Krystian and my sister Leanne. Thanks for your honesty (even if hurtful at times!), your advice, your support and your criticism.
Thank you to my friends for your constant questions of ‘When are you going to publish your book?’ Every time you asked it made me determined that sometime soon I would have an answer for you.
Thank you to my family, especially my Dad – he may have never actually read the book… but he is the first to mention it to random strangers and the one always probing me about when it would be finished and encouraging me to ‘just get on with it!’
To everyone who is out their pursuing their dream remember that it is only you who can make your dream come true. And the only way to do that is through hard work, perseverance and courage. Believe in yourself and never forget your dream – you will make yourself proud.
