Her Big Shifter Daddy: Big Easy Shifters: Book Five Page 5

by Knox, Abby

You’ve always been mine, and now our destinies are sealed forever. You and I are going to be doing that a lot. Every night, as long as my Sweetness wants it.

As for the other things we did, let me say I wasn’t expecting it, but I was honored—am honored—you decided to share that with me. My dear, sweet, little Catholic schoolgirl, what in the world have you been reading that taught you to do those things?

I hardly expected I’d get the chance to taste you between your beautiful legs until we were married. Your honey was dripping for me, and you tasted like berries and cream on a hot summer night. I am drooling as I write this, and that’s no exaggeration.

I can hardly wait to come back to you as soon as you call to me. Now that we’re bonded, I’ll never be far away from you, lovely. All you have to do is speak my name, and I’ll be there.

But honestly, I do enjoy your letters.

Let me know what wicked things my good girl has planned next time.

  Yours always,

  Lionel

  * * *

  Dear Lionel,

My hands are shaking as I write this, so I hope you’ll understand why my penmanship might not be at its best.

Indeed, my whole body still trembles just thinking about the things we did last night. I think I’m still experiencing aftershocks. No surprise, as I’m still discovering the mysteries of the exciting, someone terrifying but ultimately goddamned fun, things that happen when two big cats come together.

  Am I going to hell?

As long as you’re with me, I don’t mind.

If you feel so inclined, please consider this an invitation to come again tonight.

More specifically, my pussy requests the pleasure of your big damn cock. Tonight. No RSVPs or regrets, kind sir.

But first, you’ll have my greedy mouth to attend to.

Ever since last night, I’ve been kicking myself. I never returned the favor for what you did for me.

Tonight, the first order of business is I want to do the things to you that you did to me. Well, not precisely. What I mean is I want to take you in my mouth, kiss you, taste you, make you go mad all over again. And then I want to feel that stiffness at the back of my throat, and then I want to show you how much more I can take. I can take all of my Big Daddy as much as he wants to give me.

After that, I want you to put a baby in me as soon as possible. I won’t be satisfied until there’s a tiny feline growing inside me who belongs to you.

But most importantly, I can’t wait for you to take me out of this gilded cage and make me your wife. Who would have thought when you first lost your temper at a silly misunderstanding at a debutante ball that we would end up together. I certainly didn’t.

But you showed me your true self, Lionel. I’ll be straight with you. You’re not everyone’s cup of tea. You’re nobody’s cup of tea, honestly. But you’re my lion, and I know I’m the only one who can tame you. Best part of all, I want to, with my whole body.

  All my love,

  Betsy

  * * *

Late that night, as Betsy lay in her husband’s arms, she wondered if her life would have been different if she’d continued to say no to Lionel. Life hadn’t always been easy with him, but she always knew she’d have a protector.

Her only wish was that he would be a little bit less complicated with the kids, sometimes.

“Lionel, why did you need to torment and carry on the way you did before your daughter’s wedding?”

Although he’d mellowed out with the advent of grandchildren, he was still a ruthless old bastard.

  Lionel only laughed.

“I don’t know. I wanted them to fight for their love, the way I fought to get back to you.”

“You didn’t have to let them kidnap you and put a spell on you to get you to the wedding.”

Lionel just laughed. “Can you believe all of that rigmarole? At least they’ll have a story to tell. Kids these days don’t know how hard some of us have it.”

Betsy laughed, “And you let them think you weren’t going to come to the wedding.”

Lionel shrugged and kissed the top of his wife’s soft hair. “Hazing. If you want to be in this family, you gotta be tough.”

Betsy sighed and put a hand on Lionel’s chest.

“The world is tough enough. No sense in making our children tougher than they need to be,” she murmured.

Betsy listened as her husband murmured to her, and eventually, she drifted off to sleep.

He patted her hand on his chest. “Betsy, yours is the only life I’m interested in making easy.”
