“Mmm, well that’s good because I’m nowhere near done with you yet.” The witch pushed aside Delaney’s braid and sucked on her neck, biting lightly. Swirling her fingers slightly, she then slowed down her thrusts letting her thumb graze the Chief’s clit.

Gasping desperately for air, Delaney tried to push back to get more contact when she felt Raelin teasing her clit but found no leverage pinned down the way she was. Knowing Raelin would not give anything more than what the witch wanted to give her, she settled in, well aware that Raelin always made things worthwhile. “You are merciless,” the blonde groaned, tilting her head to give the brunette more access.

A low growl filled Delaney’s ear. “Are you asking for mercy Darlin’?” Raelin asked as she slowly filled and then retreated.

“Oh God,” Del moaned, clutching tightly at Raelin’s hair with the hand still buried in it and her other white knuckling the door handle. “Not yet, I’m enjoying this way too much to let it end now.”

Reaching up to disengage Delaney’s hand from her hair, Raelin moved down to lick the blonde’s shoulders, her upper back before moving lower until she was teasing the silky skin of her hips. “Hmm, I wonder what else I could lick. Any suggestions?” She sped up her thrusts.

“I can think of a few,” Del growled out, bending one leg so her knee rested close to her side on the seat, opening herself and turning her head to look at Raelin pointedly.

Sliding down as far as she could go while still thrusting she then leaned forward and flicked her tongue against her wife. “Hmm, you’re right...This is nice,” Raelin growled. “But I want more, so turn over.”

Doing as she was told knowing Raelin would punish her otherwise; she carefully rolled to her back trying her best to not fall off the seat and lose contact with Raelin at the same time. Finally able to catch Raelin’s now lightened eyes she felt her throat tighten at the intensity of the emotions dancing in them. Reaching down she brushed her fingers through her wife’s bangs. “I love you Darlin’.”

“And I love how you taste.” Leaning down, Raelin let her tongue twirl around the blonde’s clit. “Umm, so sweet, but I think I want more.” Placing her lips around the tiny little nub, she drew in as much as she could and hummed. Wetness was slowly dripping down the witch’s wrist and onto the leather seat. Somewhere in the back of her mind she made a note to clean the seats before they left in the morning.

A strangled cry was all Del managed, the small vibrations as Raelin hummed against her. She was distantly aware that she was making a mess on the brand new seats but was way too far gone to care. She felt her release building, coiling tight inside her as she drifted ever closer. “Oh God, so close,” she panted.

Slowly pulling out, Raelin used both hands to hold Delaney open and pressed her tongue in as far as she could curling it up to hit the spot that drove the blonde right over the edge while her nose rubbed against Delaney’s clit.

Arching off the damp leather, Del clutched tightly at Raelin’s hair holding the woman right where she was. She wrapped her legs around Raelin pressing her closer as she let out a long string of curses, moans and cries as the pleasure tore through her. Finally calming Del lay boneless on the leather, her chest heaving and eyes closed. “I love you Raelin Delacroix.”

Kissing the thighs on either side of her face before slowly kissing her way up the sweaty body of her wife. “And I love you so very much, and I want to thank you for making my fantasy come true.”

“Oh the pleasure was all mine, I promise you.” Del smiled, pressing her nose into Raelin’s neck, hugging the taller woman close. “I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to move again.”

Smiling down at her wife, Raelin quipped. “Well, it’s a good thing then that we don’t have any neighbors, because you can stay here while I drive home and then dash inside.”

“I’m not sure it would be wise to traumatize poor Tasha what with her condition and all.” Del grinned, kissing the neck of her wife, lingering on her pulse point briefly.

“Well, Tasha and Rori can get over it,” the witch lay full against the blonde, breathing in the lingering aroma of the lovemaking. “Are you hungry?”

“I am now, for a few things actually,” the blonde chuckled, wiggling her eyebrows as she wrapped her arms around the woman on top of her, holding her close and enjoying this quiet moment with her wife. “I love these moments with you. The quiet ones right after we make love where we just hold each other and enjoy being close.”

Placing a gentle kiss against Delaney’s forehead, the witch agreed. “I do too. It’s like we’re the only people in the world and nothing or no one can touch us.”

“That’s right. You are all mine, Witchy Woman.” Del smiled, stretching languidly under the form of her wife with a deep sigh. “We should get home. We need to finish the house before the munchkin makes landfall tomorrow morning.”

“Aw man, Jessie asked me to call her back. She mentioned that she might need us to keep Ariel longer,” the witch lifted up her wrist to look at her watch.

“Oh really? Did she say why?” Del asked, kissing along Raelin’s jaw, loathe to letting go of her witch just yet.

“No, did you want to give her a call now?” The witch started to rise from her wife, looking around for her phone.

“Might as well. I’m still not ready to move yet,” smiling, Del reached between the seats and grabbed Raelin’s phone from the center console, holding it out to the woman. “I’ll take just about any excuse to keep you right where you are just a wee bit longer.”

Punching in Jessie’s number, the brunette rested her chin on her palm on Delaney’s chest and waited for the ADA to pick up the phone.

Balancing a fussy toddler in one arm and trying to cook dinner with the other a flustered Jessie managed to answer the phone and cradle it between her cheek and shoulder. “Yeah, Hello?”

“Hey, it’s Raelin...You asked me to give you a shout back.” Raelin gazed up at her wife, enjoying the view.

“Oh right, I was wondering if you guys would be able to take Ariel for a little bit longer than planned. I had a huge trial pop up out of nowhere and I’ll have to practically live out of the office to get my case together in time. Normally Mike would be home in the evenings to take care of her, but he’s going to be on one last business trip before he starts his vacation. I’m really sorry to ask you guys, but it would be a huge favor if you could take her for a week or so,” Jessie explained bouncing a cranky Ariel trying to keep her placated.

“Should we postpone tomorrow then? Or I can go by myself. But sure, we can take her for as long as you need us too.” The brunette mouthed that Ariel needed to stay longer.

Del nodded, mouthing her agreement back.

“Oh no, tomorrow is okay. I just won’t be able to linger. I’ll have to head home almost as soon as I drop you back off at the house.” Jessie replied, cursing when she noticed she’d burned the pancake she’d been fixing.

“Sure, no problem. I’m actually excited to have her with us.” Raelin couldn’t resist kissing the closest breast.

Biting her lip to hold back a moan Del squirmed under the gentle contact.

“Oh, you have no idea how grateful I am. I’ll make it up to you guys as soon as I finish this trial. Thank you so much guys,” Jessie breathed, sighing when she realized Ariel had finally fussed herself to sleep.

“Okay then, we shall see you first thing in the morning. If you wouldn’t mind, please call before you leave. Just so we know that you’re on your way.” The witch just smiled at her wife.

“Yeah, I’ll call you before I leave and when I’m close. Thanks again guys,” Jessie thanked once more before disconnecting the call.

Seeing Raelin closing her phone, Del smacked playfully at her arm. “The last thing my best friend needs to hear is you torturing me,” she laughed.

“Hey! You didn’t embarrass yourself, but if you want I’ll try harder next time.” Raelin winked.

“That a threat ma’am?” Del joked,
even as her hands began to wander over Raelin’s body.

“Hmm, it could be.” Leaning down, she captured one of the blonde’s nipples, and suckled it as her palm worried at the other.

Sucking in a deep breath Del simply pulled Raelin closer letting her body react to the attention and her mind open to Raelin over their link. “We really should be getting home,” she murmured, making no effort to move.

“Yeah, I guess that we should.” The witch sighed.

“Don’t think for one second I’m not enjoying myself. You’ll get what’s coming to you as soon as we finish Ariel proofing the house.” Del grinned, tweaking one of Raelin’s nipples through her shirt.

Sharply inhaling, Raelin moaned. “I can’t wait, but I’m gonna need some food soon. What do you say that we head on home and I’ll fix dinner while you clean this seat?”

“Why should I clean it? You’re the one who made the mess.” Del laughed jokingly.

“Because I’m asking you nicely and I’ve got something special planned for dinner.” Raelin kissed her way back down the lithe body until she was able to stand outside the car. Bending down, she picked up Delaney’s clothes handed them to her and closed the back door. “Here, get dressed while I drive.”

Laughing, Del shrugged her uniform shirt back on, only bothering to do up the button that held the two sides together over her breasts and moved to her pants. Once Raelin was in the car, she grinned. “Well played, Witchy Woman. Well played.”

Turning on the car, Raelin grinned. “I was taught by the best Darlin’.”

The easy banter continued between the two women the entire short drive back to the house. Once they got to the house, Del simply changed into a white tank top and short denim cut offs, forgoing the shower until after she cleaned the car. Coming back she leaned against the kitchen doorframe watching as Raelin moved about the space. “I’m just going to wash the whole car. That dirt road to the spring kicked up a lot of dust. I want you to roll up all shiny for your meeting tomorrow.” Del smiled.

Leering at her wife Raelin grabbed hold of the counter behind her. “You are an evil woman, wearing that. Go outside and get to work. I’ve got dinner to fix.”

Walking to the sink Del bent over to grab the water bucket out from under it. Straightening, she walked past her wife running her fingertips along Raelin’s jaw as she passed. “You call whenever you’re ready. Shouldn’t take me too long,” she smirked, winking as she left the room and headed for the utility room to grab the car polish and cleaner she normally used on her Jeep.

“Goddess, give me strength.” The witch shook her head, turned to the counter, and started dinner. By the time that it took her wife to clean the car inside and out Raelin fixed shrimp tortellini with a crab and mushroom cream sauce, a Caesar salad and some cheese biscuits.

Looking over her handy work Del was pleased with the shine of the car and headed back into the house, soaked mostly through and sporting a huge streak of black tire polish across her cheek. Pausing in the kitchen doorway she took a huge breath, moaning at the wonderful smell coming from the kitchen. “Hey I’m done, I’m just going to go clean up if supper is done,” she said to Raelin.

The witch growled as her eyes raked over her wife’s body. “Damn you Delaney...This is something that can’t be warmed up. Ahh, I know that this is payback for earlier.”

Smiling innocently, Del swaggered across the kitchen slowly leaning over to put the bucket back in its place under the sink. “I’m sure I don’t know what you’re talking about Darlin’. I simply washed the car like you asked me to.”

Taking a dishtowel, Raelin twirled the towel and popped it against the blonde’s butt. “Get that beautiful ass upstairs and cleaned up. Dinner will be served in ten minutes, with or without you.”

“Ow! Okay, okay, I’m going already,” the blonde laughed, rubbing the spot where the towel had snapped her. Ten minutes later found Del dressed a little less showy and stepping into the kitchen with a wide smile. “I have got to be the luckiest person in the world to have you.”

Handing the blonde a glass of white zinfandel Raelin walked into the dining room. “True, but why do you say that?”

“Because I just had the most beautiful, loving, and kind person in the world cook a dinner for me and it smells like heaven. How many people can say that?” The blonde smiled, following her wife as she sipped from the wineglass in her hand.

Carrying her own glass of wine, Raelin pulled out Delaney’s chair and waited for her to sit down. “You don’t know how it feels to have someone to cook for; when you never thought that it would happen in your lifetime. I’m the lucky one.”

Taking the seat offered Del looked up and gave a smile to her wife. “Thank you,” she said sincerely, pressing Raelin’s fingers to her cheek briefly before kissing the knuckles. “I’m not sure what I did to deserve this considering the scene I caused with the car salesman.”

Sitting down in her chair, the witch shook her head. “No, he was the one being difficult but that’s water under the bridge. Now just enjoy your meal because I want to pick your brain for a bit.”

Dishing up a healthy portion, she nodded to Raelin. “This looks and smells amazing. Tortellini is one of my favorites.” She smiled, chewing on a bite. Swallowing, she looked across the table at her wife. “Now, pick away Darlin’.”

“What all should I ask the casino people tomorrow? Hopefully Jessie will have gotten some of the background checks finished and we can go over them on the way with Kasey, but is there anything that I need to keep a look out for?” The brunette asked before taking a bite of the salad.

“Body language will be your biggest tell. Watch for silent communication between the Casino workers. Looks, hand gestures, anything like that. Their voices will also give you a lot to go on. The pitch and speed will tell you a lot. Most importantly, follow your gut. I’m not going to lie to you, I mostly got lucky really often,” Del answered, sipping at her wine.

The witch smiled. “Maybe some of the time it was your Empathy maybe?”

“But I didn’t know how to use it then. It was just gut feelings then, little things that told me something wasn’t right. In any case, you have the same. Use it to your advantage. If something feels dangerous, leave. I would prefer it were me going with you,” the blonde replied honestly. She loved Kasey, and trusted her to have her own back on the streets, but she would never forget when Raelin had been shot.

Reaching out to cover Delaney’s hand with her own Raelin waited until the blonde looked over at her. “I promise not to do anything stupid. I need you to forget the past Darlin’. We can’t change it, just learn from it. I will listen to Kasey and Jessie, and watch everyone else very carefully.”

“Okay. I will trust you to do just that,” Delaney said seriously, squeezing the hand on her own before going back to the food on her plate. “Anything else you want to ask?”

“No, other than do you like your dinner?” The brunette speared a piece of pasta and popped it into her mouth. “This is almost as creamy as you.”

Choking on her bite of pasta Del grabbed at the untouched glass of water next to her wine glass. Finally, getting the food down she looked across the table at her wife. “It tastes great. The sauce came out really well. Thank you.”

“You are welcome, but don’t forget you get the dishes. So what are you going to do with Ariel tomorrow?” Raelin leaned back after finishing her meal; she let her finger glide over the rim of the wine glass.

“I have no idea. I have to go to the station since Kasey is going to be with you, so it looks like Munchkin is going to be my partner in Kasey’s stead.” She smiled, finishing the last few bites of her meal and leaning back in her chair.

“Maybe you could take her out to the Foundation. She can play with the other kids or maybe you could call Jenny and she would watch her if you had to go out on a call.”

“Oh, that’s a pretty good idea. I should pay the foundation a visit anyway. Thanks.” Delaney stood from he
r place and started to clean up the table, carrying Raelin’s plate to the kitchen along with her own. “What all is left to be done to get the house ready?”

“Hmm, we’ve proofed the doors, kitchen cabinets, and the electrical outlets. You need to install the gate at the top and the bottom of the stairs because I don’t want her running up them without one of us holding her hands. Other than that, I think that we are done,” the brunette mentally counted off everything.

Grabbing the last of the dishes off the table, Del dumped them into the sink to soak while she put the leftovers into containers. “Well, that’s not too bad. It will only take me a few minutes to bolt the brackets to the door. Thankfully, the gates we bought just click into the brackets. We can leave the brackets up and store the gates when Ariel isn’t here.”

“Works for me dear, then we are done for the night. Would you mind if I go upstairs and take my bath?”

“Not at all. You go have a nice relaxing bath and leave this to me. I’ll get the brackets mounted and then I’ll be right up.” Del smiled, starting in on the dishes in the sink.

“Okay, see ya in a bit,” the witch headed up stairs to enjoy a long soaking bath.

Meanwhile across town Kasey was currently trying her best to keep up as her younger sister and fiancée flipped through a huge pile of wedding magazines. She sipped at her lemonade, eyes bouncing between back and forth between the two women as they chattered. “Exactly how big are you planning on making this anyway?”

Jenny picked up a pad that was next to the growing pile of magazines, and flipped back a few pages. “Well, let’s see. Your mom, Kai, Rae, Del, Jessie, her family, and the guys from the department. The folks from the Foundation and maybe the kids that are there, they’ve become friends and whoever you want baby. This is as much your wedding as it is mine.”
