Aiden stole his eyes from Jashion and his wounds. He could just make out the sword imbedded in the dragon. He watched closely with his keen eyes, too far away to sail an arrow. As the dragon turned again the sword, not embedded deeply in its flesh, dropped to the ground along with a single of its scales, revealing a small portion of its exposed flesh. Aiden’s heart took courage. The dragon could be hurt; it could be made to bleed. Indeed, blood dripped from the dragon’s wound as it flew towards Agedon.
