The Anime Trope System: Stone vs. Viper, #3 a LitRPG (ATS) Page 11

by Alvin Atwater

Clyde felt the day’s exhaustion continue to slam into him. Still…he was fucking loaded! He wanted to start spending, but the tiredness wasn’t going away on its own. A few rain drops dripped to his head. Just a few… Drizzles weren’t new to Clyde, but….strange—the entire day was cloudless and cool. Another droplet…on a starry night. He looked up…and saw nothing. Felt no airflows, moods, anything. Just a quiet night.

Something licked the back of his neck.

"HOLY SHIT!" Clyde jumped to his roof, looking down. Nothing. But someone laughed. And spoke right beside him.

"You scare easily for someone who can jump so high."

Maki was casually sitting, dressed in a black mini-skirt and a matching shirt. Sitting, Clyde gave her a skeptical look, trying to piece things together at a million miles per hour. He barely had any interactions with this girl. Wasn’t she the most popular girl in school? Why was she at his apartment? On his rooftop? How did she get there? Why couldn’t he detect her? Why are the wards not keeping her away? Are they demon exclusive? He’d get that fixed asap.

He took a deep breath and exhaled. In the end, he decided to not beat around the bush.

"Okay, what’s going on? Why are you here?"

"To be blunt, I’m here to have sex with you," Maki said. "You live alone, so you must be pent up. Don’t waste your time, beating off today."

She crawled over to him, but something inside Clyde whispered, danger.

"No, I’m good," he said, holding out his hand in a halting gesture. Not that he’d consider doing that when there was a fucking angel and his life mate beneath him.

Maki sat back down, knees to chest. The young man gave her a confused look. What the hell did she want? He made it clear that he didn’t like her. She was obviously pretty—popular, but Clyde never cared for social standings.

"How do you even know where I live?" Clyde said.

"Sources," Maki replied then turned to him. "A girl comes to see you, and this is how you treat her?"

Tears poured from her cheeks then she began to cry. Loudly. Clyde was taken aback, but firmed. He felt too tired to give a shit about anyone’s tears, unless of course, they belonged to his friends.

"Man, stop the crying," he said. "I’m not moved by crocodile tears. Look, I don’t even know you like that."

  Maki continued to cry.

"I worked up so much courage…done so much. And get turned away. I feel like killing…myself. Yes…I think I’ll kill myself."

Clyde’s eyes widened. She was nuts or clearly had issues. Probably both.

"There’s no need to go that far," Clyde said.

  [Your heart protection has activated.]

"Just calm down," he said. "I’m certainly not worth killing yourself over."

Maki started to crawl over to him. The young man stood, guard maxed. Something about this felt off. Why couldn’t he sense anything in her? He analyzed Maki. At least he tried to, but...couldn’t. A block?

Maki suddenly grew silent, her crying a distant echo.

"You just don’t get it do you…of course you wouldn’t, I haven’t said anything. It’s not your fault, it’s mine. If you want to hit me, that’s okay. In fact…I should be punished. All you have to do is tell me to jump and I’ll do it. Will, the other girls do anything like that for you?"

"Stop, fuck, what the fuck, just stop," Clyde snapped. Maki closed her mouth, eyes…taking on a familiar glow. A shining that the young man recognized. "No…"

Maki tilted her head. Clyde’s heart beat faster, but not in a loving way. He was certain he didn’t have to deal with anymore Yanderes—that his best friend could control it, therefore he’d….Of course, things wouldn’t be so easy for him. His actions from the very beginning attracted the psycho. He minded his own damn business, but no matter what path, short from quitting the school and bringing down Mortem on himself, this girl was going to barge herself into his life. "Maki, leave."

  "But Clyde—"

"Leave. Clear your head and forget me. I don’t want there to be any misunderstandings between us, so let me make this clear. Don’t come near me again. Listen to what you just said."

Maki’s hands trembled, tears falling from her face. "I’m not trying to be a dick, but no. We don’t know each other—there’s no way—"

"Do you even know what love at first sight is?" Maki said, voice low, deadly. A purple aura flashed around her for half a second, but Clyde’s sharp eyes recognized the signs. If he dismissed this girl—and being the OP Yandere she is—there was no doubt, she’d attack his friends. Or even him. Without any way to analyze her, he wasn’t sure if he could mop the floor with Maki or get stomped. Yandere….fuck. How did one reason with them? The answer to that, he knew as: you can’t. "Clyde…it’s love at first sight. And…I did everything in my power to find out more about you. Employed a…source. Did some terrible things that felt amazing, but terrible, just to find anything about you. You’re a blank state. Either that or an alien." She laughed. "Even foreigners have records…it makes me so excited to speculate. Are you a prince in hiding? You’re a prince in hiding, aren’t you?"

"No, I’m not a fucking prince," Clyde said, weary. "Maki, aren’t you like the most popular girl in school? What are you doing here?"

"Clyde, you can’t dismiss me," Maki said. "Not forever. Not from your life. If you go to the grave, I’ll follow." She moved closer to him. It was then Clyde noticed she had one hand behind her back.

"I can clearly see the hand behind your back," Clyde said. "If you attack me, you’re done. I won’t show mercy."

"Attack you? If you mean sex, I will without a doubt, regardless of what you say, and you can punish me as much as you want." She revealed an envelope with a giant heart on it. "I brainstormed many ways to approach you with Na—my source. In the end, I mustered up the courage to just be straightforward. Mom says guys like straightforward women."

Her eyes glazed for a second. When lucidity returned, Maki attempted to jump him. Clyde flash stepped behind her then grabbed the yandere in a grappling hold. The crazy girl didn’t bother resisting. She began to breathe heavily, sexually.

"Punish me…Master. Rock my insides. Push me to the ground. Hurt me."

"Okay, no, I’m done with this shit—you’re clearly gone," Clyde said then released her.

"I didn’t come all this way to leave dry—so I’ll take your coldness as a…punishment. Oh!"

Clyde’s eyes widened when she shoved fingers inside herself. If Alice…if Ali…ah shit. She joined them with a single graceful leap.

Maki removed her fingers, briefly playing with the fluids, and smiled at the half-demoness. "This isn’t over—you will not ignore me." Maki…vanished. No trace, nothing—except for a tiny bit of smoke.

  Alice snatched the envelope.

"You will not let her into your life."

"I don’t want her in my life," Clyde said. "She’s fucking crazy."

Alice sighed then opened the letter. Five small pictures of Clyde fell out. Recent. Only two hours after they jumped back to Clyde’s house.

"You need to fix those wards now," Clyde said.

"I’ll get Natalia on it," Alice said.

"I can’t believe she’s fucking gifted," he said softly. "And after me of all people. Like what the hell man."

"No use wasting time, let’s get this done. I want to shower and cuddle. Yuki has agreed to sleep on the couch."

  "Did your mother leave?"

  Alice smiled.

"She did. Tear jumped with her but Natalia’s asleep, so she’ll be spending the night."

  Clyde nodded.

"Maki just had to ruin the moment."

"I’ll ask Tear to investigate her…She’s changed drastically since I chewed her out in the cafeteria. She also didn’t react to me casually jumping up to the roof. I also sensed a faint bit of demoness magic on her. I think someone’s teaching…. never mind. Speculation is speculation."

They headed back into the apartment, ready t
o call it a night.

However…The young man had no idea that someone awaited him in his bed...

  [Volume 3.] Episode 19 (Part 4)

"Psst, wake up sleeping beauty," Clyde said, shaking the loli-witch. Natalia clung to his hand.

"Mmm just five more minutes, Highness," she murmured.

Clyde tried to shake her off his hand, but the girl held tight.

"Natalia, wake up and let me go before someone falsely calls the cops."

"Mmm, chocolate…so much chocolate." The sleeping girl actually licked the back of his hand and in a way that reminded the young man that she was older than him.

"Now they’ll certainly toss me in jail," Clyde said then pulled with all of his strength. Natalia flew toward him. He caught the girl by the back of her collar.

"No awkward anime fall scene here," the young man said. "Alice can you shock her awake."

Alice sighed, inspecting the wards. Yuki assisted her, adding a significant amount of power.

"You do it, I’m busy, heart. Could you bring me the tag that’s sitting on your dresser please?"

"Sure," Clyde said. He needed to take a leak anyway. He tossed the sleeping loli back onto the couch and didn’t bother looking. She slept in just her shirt—so the cliché, unholy panty flash was bound to happen. Fucking anime tropes…

When Clyde flipped on the light in his room, he froze. All of his boxers were scattered about. His bed was an unmade mess and looked as if someone…was just in it seconds ago. This reminded him of the time his little cousin snuck into his room, wreaked havoc, and escaped. His momma walked right in, Clyde still in there, trying to comprehend it all. The lashing he received made him unable to sit right for almost a week. Even his dad couldn’t get him out of trouble, though he certainly tried.

His blanket and sheets looked suspiciously damp. Clyde shook his head. Maybe he should consider making a deal with the yandere. No that wouldn’t work. Fuck…another yandere. The last time he analyzed her, she was at level eight with an unknown relationship. Was that the clue? How the fuck could anyone guess that? Relationships can be unknown, right? No…his analyze revealed it all, even neutrality. So that was the clue…The unknown in an out of place spot of the analysis.

He checked the closet. Normal. The bathroom? Normal. He used that opportunity to relieve himself. The sound of the toilet’s flush enhanced the effects. He may have held that one for at least half an hour.

A nibble on his ear made him flinch. A hand grabbed his horn and stroked fast and with an irresistible technique. He grunted.

"You seemed stressed," Yuki said softly. The voice aroused Clyde so much that he released his load right then and there, into the toilet. The demoness walked over to the sink and washed her hands. She bent over in a way that surely would make the mountain rise again. She spoke again, casually, as if nothing just happened. "I understand someone has invaded your room. She’s a strong one, but I’ve managed to figure out why she’s undetectable."

Clyde forced his massive erection into his pants.

"You did?" he said, annoyed the boner just wouldn’t go. Yuki made a motion with her head which clearly signaled of Alice’s approach. While demon kind didn’t give a shit about multiple partners as humans did, Yuki still had enough courtesy to not chance messing with someone’s life mate in plain sight. Clyde sat on the counter of the sink, attempting to hide beneath folded arms.

Alice appearing in a nightgown didn’t make it easier.

"I can’t believe she was in here, walking through our wards as if they didn’t exist."

Clyde gulped when the half-demoness moved toward him. If she saw the massive tower…He had to distract her.

"We’re going to have to wash everything," Clyde said. "Sheets, pillows, blankets, too. All damp."

  Yuki smirked.

"Alice," she said in a playful musical voice. "I think it’s time for some life mate, perhaps even bridal training. You must do all of Young Master Clyde’s laundry. I shall show you how."

  Clyde’s eyes widened.

"I’m capable of doing my own laundry."

"Ah, but Clyde, she’s your life mate. She has responsibilities too," Yuki said.

Clyde walked between them and his underwear.

"I’m all about equality," he said. "This isn’t the nineteen fifties."

"Doesn’t matter," Yuki said. "See that adorable blushing face. That’s the face of a young woman that wants to please you."

Yuki picked up one of Clyde’s boxers, smiling. The young man grabbed his underwear right as Natalia walked in. To her eyes, she saw a red-faced Alice in a nightgown, Yuki in a nightgown that revealed too much cleavage for breasts that were larger than Harumi’s, and a half-cocked man wrestling for his laundry. They were all silently staring at her.

"This isn’t what it looks like," Clyde said.

"Uh-huh," Natalia said, unconvinced. She sat on the floor, eyeing Clyde’s hidden erection. "Don’t stop on my account."

Clyde quickly changed the subject, snatching his boxers. Yuki winked at him.

"So, what made Maki invisible to the wards?" he asked as he calmly piled the contaminated laundry together.

"Most of our detection abilities and magical senses rely on detecting and feeling for the magic around us, but…Ki is another story," Yuki said. "There are a few other forces out there, but I’m almost positive this Maki girl is utilizing Ki and in truly skilled ways. I had to go out of my way to detect traces of it, but we can adjust the wards."

"Ki," Clyde said softly. "Just make sure the wards don’t strike at me. I have but a trace amount inside me, but once cultivated could turn out to be…" His words died in his mouth. Ki’s weakness was that it had to be collected by some means. He wasn’t sure if it was easily rechargeable like magic, but knew for sure Ki needed time to be gathered. How did Maki build hers? Can she powerup like Dragonball characters? God, he hoped not. He knew he shouldn’t think of Ki that way—it was based on the Chinese concept of Qi or Chi. The young man would have to be extra careful. Maki could be a master of her art and kick his ass.

For some reason, he suspected that his real power wasn’t simply composed of just magic either, but didn’t spare the thought to speculate.

"Natalia, I’m going to need your help with this, a link," Yuki said. "Ki can normally punch through magic, so we’re going to build layers of both then set them to spin with the planet. The downside is that it’s not a self-maintenance barrier. We’ll have to feed it. Keep its barrier points up."

"Yeah, we’re definitely going to get the house tomorrow," Clyde said. "Yuki, I’m counting on you to make sure we aren’t followed."

"You could always move to Ashen City," Yuki said.

"Too far and I’m stuck going to the academy here," he said.

  "Why?" she asked.

"Long story," he told her. "Get started on the barrier for now, if you don’t mind."

  The demoness nodded.

"I owe a debt that can’t be paid with poor effort—let’s do this Natalia."

Clyde tried to protest, but the women tuned him out, glowing with intense magic. He decided to just do the laundry. Alice insisted on helping.

Clyde and Alice sat in the living room waiting. And waiting. And waiting. Not even the TV could cleanse of the anticipation. Eventually, they began to fool around. It started with Alice stealing kisses, then four and soon she was straddling him in a passionate make-out session.

A loud throat-clearing halted what was sure to be something wild.

  "L—lewd," Natalia said.

  [Volume 3.] Episode 19 (Part 5)

At the door of a large house, Lot City…

Mei knocked on Maki’s door. No answer. She didn’t see any cars parked in the large driveway, which meant the girl’s parents were gone like usual. She was surprised the family didn’t utilize servants—they were incredibly rich and even held power in the government. Maki was nineteen now, but to grow up with hardly any contact with her parents probably took a toll
on her mental health. Mei once heard a rumor that stated the girl suffered abuse and molestation from her long-dead uncle, though his defenders claimed that he was the kindest man alive. Human rubbish.

Mei was about to leave, when someone grabbed her bottom. She snarled, preparing to crush the human who dared to defile her but stopped. Maki grinned.

"You were seconds from dead," Mei said. "Don’t do that out of nowhere like that."

  Maki shrugged.

  "Sorry. Couldn’t help myself."

Maki hugged her, leaning a little too into the demoness, feeling her up. Mei pulled her back, inspecting red-rimmed eyes.

  "Were you…crying?"

"Tears of joy," Maki said. "It worked. By getting him to react as coldly as possible, I was in so much ecstasy—I had to Shift to his room. I came all over the place but…he wouldn’t hurt me."

  Mei shook her head, annoyed.

  "You’re still an M, huh?"

"Well of course," Maki said. "Sadly, I couldn’t get him to have sex with me. Am I ugly?"

  Mei glared at her friend.

"Don’t be ridiculous. You’re one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever met."

"Then…why didn’t he touch me. Wait…that slut. I barely noticed, but she. I think she lives with him." Maki folded her arms. "Let’s go inside."

"Who are you talking about?" Mei said when Maki closed the door.

"I believe her name is Alice Hades," Maki said. "She acts like she owns him."

Mei’s blood ran cold. She liked Alice. The girl’s rebellion against her scumbag of a father reigned as a symbol in her heart. And best of all, a weird rumor stated that she finally won. That was partly what drew Mei to the city so fast. The only half is the man she’s apparently working with. The man who won Mei her life back. From the words of Maki…that had to be him. The Ashfall Destroyer went to college? She pictured a man in his thirties, hardened like a soldier, but if he’s her own age, approaching him would be so much easier. She wouldn’t feel as intimidated.
