And I love him with each and every bit of my heart, from now to forever.
"Let us raise a glass then," Connor says. "To my love, my Lizzie. The woman who completes me in every way, and who I will cherish to the end of my days."
Standing up, I take his large hand in mine and lean in to his ear.
"As I will cherish you, my love," I whisper.

BISHOP - BOOK 1 IN THE ANGELS SERIES
Lorraine
Rykard entered my life like a hurricane. Bloody, intense, and angry.
All my life I've been sheltered, protected through the worst of tragedies by a mother who would go to the ends of the world for me.
But without my knowledge, she signed a deal with the devil of London. And now, when a threat looms over the Angel family, their enforcer Rykard 'Bishop' Simmons is sent in to protect one of the family's business interests. My bar, The Greenhouse. A bar that's been in my family forever. A place I'll not let fall to ruins.
I'm not some scared little girl who needs the protection of a brooding, violent gangster. I can handle my own, and will always do so. I have enough on my plate right now without having to add a simmering gang war on it.
They say choosing the lesser of two evils is the most difficult decision to make. I don't know how or why it happened, but the coin's been flipped. And now I need to choose a side before it drops.
Rykard's a monster who is no stranger to death. His cold eyes betray nothing. Brooding silence shrouds him in a veil of mystery. But nothing's ever black and white is it?
When cracks start to form in the Bishop's steel armour, I see glimpses of the wounded soul beneath, and I'm forced to reassess everything I believed.
As the flames between us start to rage, do I fight it with the ice in my heart? Or do I spread my arms wide and let this monster engulf me entirely?
Rykard
Lorraine Reeves is a thorn in my side. A little firecracker I'm forced to babysit in order to fulfil an order.
She thinks the world of her little cocktail bar. What does she know of the evil in the world? The villains who take and destroy, working in the shadows of London. Evil like me.
It's my job to protect her. But how can I do that when I'm the very danger she's trying to be rid of?
My heart was destroyed ages ago, yet this Little Demon finds pieces of it as though from thin air, and begins piecing me back together. Bit by bit.
A killer's only as good as the conscience he does not possess. Maybe I should've stopped her from the beginning, but this woman does something to me. Whenever she's around, the man in me stirs, temporarily pushing away the animal.
My control is resolute. Or so I thought. But now? Now I've got something to lose.
A war is coming, and I'll decimate anyone who even thinks of hurting her. Lorraine is mine. Nobody touches what's mine and lives.
KNIGHT - BOOK 2 IN THE ANGELS SERIES
There was once a princess who lived in a huge castle.
Like two sides of a coin, what is usually the beginning of a lovely fairy tale can just as easily be the start of a sordid nightmare.
My uncle dragged me away from London, the city I had grown to love. He dragged me away from Jax, the man who rules my every waking thought.
He now keeps me, his orphaned mafia niece, locked up in a fancy prison. Awaiting the day I'm to be wedded off to an accomplice of his. I'm nothing more than a bargaining chip in this cruel world of men. An item, to be exchanged for money or power.
I have no name nor identity. No wants nor needs.
On the verge of my wedding, catastrophe strikes. I'm once again traded away against my will, this time to a monster who dwells in London. A man powerful enough to make my fearsome uncle tremble.
A knight, from a ruthless family who once ruled London's underworld.
A knight, who still rules my every waking thought.
Jax isn't the man I left behind. The gangster with a cheeky smile has morphed into something else with the passage of time. Something sinister, and more vicious than I could have imagined. He now holds me in his lair, a giant penthouse, while awaiting a debt owed by my uncle.
Collateral. That's what I am.
But who are we to refuse the heart's demands? It will make its needs known, one way or the other. It will scream and fight when our minds and bodies resist.
As repressed feelings resurface between my monster and I, our lives will collide in dangerous ways. We let each other go once, against our will. This time, we'll fight anything and everything that threatens to pull us apart. Jax ignites a strength in me that I never knew existed, and a will of iron to go along with it.
When my abusive uncle and drug lord fiancé comes to collect, they will learn that power is as easily lost as it is gained. This will be my lesson to them.
Because no matter how a fairy tale begins, the princess must live happily ever after.
WHITE SAND - A SMALL TOWN ROMANCE
This summer, let's run away from it all. From our worries, and our stress. From the mundane, and the mediocre. Let's escape to a place where everybody is friendly, and joy hangs in the air. A village where new dreams are made, and new adventures await.
I, Natalie Lawrence, have it all: A successful career, a rich husband, and a London penthouse. Designer clothes, and fancy accessories. I have it all, right? Wrong. Sometimes, the perfect life's nothing more than a mirage. And when my life threatens to spiral out of control, I handle it like a responsible adult.
Well, not quite. I pack my suitcase and leg it out of London.
All the way to a place I'd left a lifetime ago. Pinkleworth. A quaint little seaside village, nestled in the embrace of the beautiful Cornish sea.
With its lush white sand beaches, picturesque hills, and cosy little shops, I feel like I can finally find myself again. Find the real Natalie Lawrence. The girl who had big dreams and a happy smile.
Instead, I find bloody Ronnie Alistair. Pinkleworth's very own Greek God. Sounds far fetched, I know. A Greek God? Really? But, we did try to build our very own Big Ben, so there's really no limit to the kinds of things we'd shamelessly rip off.
As Ronnie and I grow closer, I feel like I can start to breathe again. To dream again. Life's good. I mean, it's smack candy floss in your face then hose you down with raspberry gin good. My life in London quickly becomes a distant memory. A dark secret.
But I soon realise that the thing with secrets is, they're always waiting to catch up with you. And who'd have thought that I'm not the only one with a past to hide here in Pinkleworth Village?
As I race to keep my new life from spiralling out of control, my past decides to make an unwelcome appearance. It threatens to destroy everything, like a newly impotent bull in a vet clinic.
The question is, am I now strong enough to fight for everything I hold dear? Or will Natalie Lawrence break again?
