He took a bite of the chicken and glared at me. "You know something, I realized that I didn't love you anymore. Let's face it, we got married because you were pregnant and since you lost the baby, we have no reason to be married anymore." I always knew he could be hurtful, but he said it so nonchalantly that his words stabbed me.
I felt a thousand pounds being dropped on my chest. He is honestly telling me that he doesn't love me anymore. This is insane. I thought over the past couple of years and reflected on the fact that we haven't had sex in over a year and a half. We have started to live different lives away from each other and we don't spend a lot time together.
"Okay," I took a sip of the wine and looked down at my plate. Where will I go? Is he telling me that he wants a divorce? Oh shit, is this something that I did? My mind spun around and around about a dozen times before the feeling of hate and anger sunk in. "Are you saying you want a divorce?" I tried to sound carefree while asking him. There was no way I could let him see my emotions.
He hasn't said that he loved me in over a year. We haven't shared the same bed in that span of a year either. No one would probably even know that we were married. He spent most of his days with his friends and when he came home he rarely spoke to me.
"Yes, I want a divorce. Why would I want to come home to you every night? You never dress up for me and we haven't had sex in forever. Get out of our place!" Joel reached over the table and knocked the plate on the ground. As he walked over to me, I grabbed my phone that was sitting on the table and called Anne.
Anne came to pick me up about ten minutes later. I was only able to grab a handful of my things since Joel was watching me like a hawk and demanded I left everything he gave me in the room. I only packed a small suitcase of some clothes and pictures of my family. While walking towards my jewelry box, Joel started yelling and I wasn't able to grab it.
When we left the apartment, I looked back at the door. This wasn't my home anymore. I wouldn't becoming back here. Joel didn't love me anymore. It is time to rebuild.
"If you don't want to do this, Vans, we can leave now," she rubbed my arm as I took a sip of my coffee.
Don't get me wrong, the coffee is good and everything, but I miss my chai. "I want to do this but I am worried that Vincent won't want me anymore like Joel did."
Her eyes twitched and Anne jumped off the bed and walked out the door. As I tried to imagine where she was going, the door opened and people walked in.
"Baby doll," Vincent walked into the room and I stood up to walk towards him. "What's wrong, my love? Is everything all right?" When he was close enough to me, I grabbed on to him and pulled him as close to me as I could.
"I am sorry, I am just scared. What if you don't want me anymore?" My tears formed and Anne walked out onto the balcony to give us privacy. Everyone of my insecurities, doubts and inadequacies came bubbling to the surface.
He grabbed my cheeks and held them in his hands. I looked into his eyes that held pain and noticed that he looked sad. I am such a bad person. Only a bad person would constantly make this beautiful man look so defeated.
"I will always want you. If you don't want to do this, its okay. Don't worry about it. We can still do what we are doing," his thumbs rubbed the tears off my face. "I love you, Savannah, with all of my heart. I would love to marry you. You make my life a ton better and you make me so happy. For the first time in years, I feel alive and I feel alive because of you." His tone is so sincere and his eye looked pleading.
Happy tears rolled down my cheeks. "I love you too. I am sorry," I rubbed my cheek on his chest and wrapped my hands into his shirt to keep him close to me. What a complete shocker, he is dressed in his usual attire.
"Is this something that you want?" Vincent ran his hand down my back and smoothed my hair.
"Yes, I am ready now. Thank you." I squeezed him tighter and he stroked the back of my head.
"Good, I am so happy. I have a surprise for you."
Almost as if it were planned, a feta cheese and ham omelet was at the door and so was Caridee.
Vincent has a big smile on his face as I took in the scene. "I knew you would want her here and she wanted to be here, as well," I lifted my face as he spoke. His eyes were smiling at me and I fell harder for him. "I will see you soon," he got really close to my ear and kissed my lobe. "I will love you with forever, don't forget that. Its you and me."
Chapter Thirty-Three
Caridee gave me some beach waves after re-highlighting my hair. My hair is blonder than normal due to the sun and now more bleach but I love it anyways. She spun Anne's hair into a twist and gave her a natural makeup look.
I wasn't able to look at myself until everything was finished. This is so frustrating, I need to make sure that I look beautiful because I want to cherish these wedding memories for as long as I live. Anne was in the bathroom getting our dresses out and my impatience is winning. I want my dress!
"Kitten, I am dying to see it! Please let me see it!" She still hasn't shown it to me. Bitch.
"Almost. The wedding starts in an hour and then you can see it soon."
"Shit. Its already eight!" I looked at the clock by the bed which made Caridee grab my face to get me to stop moving. Vincent said that sunset would be the perfect time to pledge our lives together and I think he is right.
Caridee growled at me and her fingertips gripped my cheeks. "Seriously, you don't want raccoon eyes on your wedding day! They will look horrible for your pictures!"
"Wait, I don't have a photographer. Anne! How could we forget that?"
Anne laughed from the bathroom and stepped out in her corset and underwear. "You honestly think I wouldn't get you a photographer? You are insane. Why else do you think Caridee would come to Mexico?"
"There! You are all done! Don't look at the mirror though. Let's get you into your sexy clothes."
I was wearing a silk bathrobe that went mid thigh and a tank underneath. In came my corset and matching white panties and then on they went. The corset is very snug and pushed the girls up very high. Hell, if I tried, I may be able to rest my head on my cleavage.
"I feel like a sausage! Where is my dress?" I screamed from the room and Anne came out with it.
The dress was an off white, strapless, and knee high satin dress. I scanned it and noticed that the top was a heart shaped and plunged low. Anne turned it around so I could see the back. The back had a light plunge and it laced up in the back. There is a slit in the back that stopped mid thigh.
"This dress is gorgeous! Is it Oscar de la Renta?" He is my favorite bridal designer and Anne knew that. I fell in love with his designs a few years ago and never looked back. His clothes and dresses are timeless and that is what I love. Timeless and classical.
"Of course! Come on, lets get you married!" Anne and Caridee helped me into the dress.
I finally got a chance to look at myself. The necklace, earrings, and bracelet that Vincent gave me were on. As I spun in the mirror, I felt gorgeous. The dress fit like a glove and my veil appeared. A small bird cage that came up to my cheeks. Caridee put the veil on and Anne slipped on my shoes.
"Savannah, you look amazing! Simply amazing."
"Thank you, Caridee. Thank you so much for coming," I hugged her tight and I felt the back of the lace in my dress tighten. "Thank you, really, to the both of you!"
"Everyone decent?" Ronnie walked in to the room and stopped as he seen Anne. "Sweetheart, you look great."
As they hugged, I coughed. "Hello! I am the bride!" Damn, people pay attention to me.
"Stunning. Moretti is a lucky man. He is all nervous and at the bar. Poor cafone."
"What are you doing in here?" Anne asked as Caridee left to go to the bathroom to change, I assume.
"To let you know that it is time! Come on!"
Chapter Thirty-Four
People stopped me as we walked through the hotel to get to the beach. Everyone told me that I looked beautiful and I thanked them. I really wanted to see Vincent.
The yacht was about a half mile off shore. We took a speed boat out to get to it and the speed boa had rose petals all over it. Ronnie left to go with my future husband. Husband. Wow. Husband. In a matter of thirty minutes, he will be my husband and I will be his wife. I will be a wife... again. However, this time will be different. We are in love.
The speed boat stopped in front of a beautiful yacht. I looked up at it as the sun was setting. There were lights that dangled all over the railings and soft jazz music played. The yacht is beautifully white with just enough color to make it stand out. The dangle lights offset the white and make it seem magical.
"Ms, may I help you up?" A man stood at the top of the ladder, and helped Anne and Caridee up the boat with her camera. Caridee is a woman of many talents since she can do hair and takes pictures (which I didn't know until earlier).
The man stuck his hand down to me and I grabbed it. Walking up a ladder in high heels is not fun. However, since I was wearing white, I went with hot pink stilettos. Anne knows me too well!
"Ms, are you ready?" The man asked me as I stood up on the hatch and took it all in. Candles flickered, and the air from the ocean felt amazing on the yacht. They did such a great job. I feel like a princess on here and I love the feeling of being cherished.
The yacht was stunning, and so romantic with new surprises everywhere. I felt like royalty as I walked up the aisle to get to the ceremony. Music played louder as we approached and Vincent had his back to me.
I drank him in. He is wearing khaki shorts and a silk shirt. There is no doubt about it, this man is utterly the hottest man ever. He didn't turn to face me as I walked up the white aisle runner. There were pink and white rose petals that were scattered over the yacht; a touch I know came from Vincent.
By the time I got to the head part of the yacht, I sighed as I smelled him. His cologne hit me in the face, and was delicious. My nerves dissipated as his scent traveled through my nose. Just being near him and feeling his body heat is enough to make me calm.
The officiant smiled and tapped Vincent on the arm as I got to the end.
There were tears in his eyes as I stuck my hand out for him to grab it. I looked at him and smiled. With my other hand, I lightly brushed off his tears and kissed my fingers that were just touching him as I pulled away. Anne stood behind me and Ronnie did the same on the other side.
It is just the four of us. Something that came about after we realized that not everyone is able to leave the country. Supposedly, some of them are undocumented but I think it is just a security thing. We couldn't bring Vincent's family because Isadora doesn't have a passport but they plan on coming to see us after we get back.
"Let's begin, shall we," the officiant said in perfect English. "I believe that you guys have your own vows, let's begin."
Vincent laced his fingers into mine on both hands and squeezed. He hasn't even started his vows and I already feel my tears of happiness welling.
"Why this beautiful woman chose me is beyond me. Savannah, I vow for you to feel my love every minute of every day. I will always keep you in the front of my mind. There will never be a minute of the day where you feel lonely. I love you with every beat of my heart forever. There is no measure of time that could give me enough time with you but I want to be with you until the last one slips away."
I was crying as he got to the end and so was Anne. There was no way my vows could be as beautiful as his. Damn it, I should have gone first.
"Vincent, you are the man that I never thought existed. You show me love every day and never let me forget that you are there for me. My only hope is that I make you feel half the love that I truly have inside for you. We haven't known each other for a long time, but you are the one that I can't live without. I love you more than I can express. I vow to stand by your side for all of our days."
Vincent looked at me and held my eyes as we exchanged rings. I slipped his on but before I did, I placed a kiss on it. As he put my ring on, I looked down at it. There is a row of argyle diamonds that were beautiful. I shimmied my finger and I looked at how it shined in the moon light.
"I now pronounce you Mr. And Mrs. Vincent Moretti. You may now kiss the bride."
Vincent pulled on my hands and I fell into him during our kiss. He wrapped his arms around my back and kissed me so deeply. Our lips melded together and I dug my fingers into his hair as we kissed. He gave me slight licks and I shivered inside.
As he backed out of our kiss, I grasped his hand. I wasn't ready to let go. Not yet. Not ever.
"Congratulations!" Ronnie said as he hugged me and Anne hugged Vincent. "Now what?"
Vincent smiled at all four of them and then took my hands into his and led us into the cabin underneath. The railings that lined the steps even had lights on them with rose petals lining the blonde wooden stairs.
He smiled his naughty smile that meant he was up to no good at everyone. "Please commence with the party. However, I would love a few private moments with my wife." As we walked down the stairs, he spoke to me. "Baby doll, I love you."
I pulled on his hands and stopped midway on the stairs. "Not nearly as much as I love you, hubby." It felt so weird, but a good weird, to call him my hubby. I never thought I would find someone so special and meaningful to me as I feel for Vincent.
We walked down the remaining stairs and into the master cabin. My mouth dropped as he picked me up and carried me like a damsel.
"Close your eyes," he whispered. He carried me for a few more feet and then set me down. "Call me old fashion, but I wanted to carry my bride over the threshold. You can open your eyes now."
I opened them carefully and looked around the cabin. There were candles that are lit, probably about fifty of them and the room smelled like cookies because of it. Vincent also spread rose petals all over the bed and the cabin. On the bed, the rose petals were shaped in a heart.
I became wracked with emotions and love over everything that was happening that I couldn't stop the happy tears. "Vincent, this is beautiful. Thank you." Every feeling I have for this man is trying to claw its way out of me but I held onto my sanity.
Since I was sitting on the bed, I bent over to slip my shoes off. He stood by the dresser and watched me as I fluffed my hair out to make it bigger. The waves hit the boat so magically that it felt as if we were being rocked which made me feel like this is a magical place.
I beckoned for him to come over to me by flicking my index finger. In two steps he was in front of me. As he stood there and scanned my face, I unbuttoned his shirt slowly. Each button exposed his tanned skin to me and I want to lick every inch.
"I want you," I whispered as I pulled him down and had him fall on me as I laid on the bed. "Please, I want you so bad."
He took my face in his hands and kissed me passionately. This kiss expressed how much he loved me while also expressing how much he wants me, too. I deepened the kiss by opening my mouth slightly and letting him stick his tongue between my teeth.
Vincent ran his hands down my thighs and pushed my dress up to my waist. His lips never left mine and I moaned as he kissed me deeper.
I felt him start to talk against my lips and the vibrations of his words... let's just say, I am about to throw him down and take control of the evening. "I want to make love to you tonight," he states as he slowly take my underwear off. In a minute, his pants are down and then so are his briefs. Vincent lowered his mouth on to mine and wrapped his fingers in with mine.
As he slowly pushed himself in, I let out a moan. We held hands the whole time that are bodies were entwined and our hands were on either side of us. Vincent moaned as I clenched my sex around him and slowly matched his place.
With each thrust, his kiss got more feral. He was so deep inside me that I was going insane. In slowly then out faster and vice versa every time.
As he drove deeper into me, Vincent took our bunched hands over my head and kissed me harder. I could feel my release coming and I tried to fight it off with thrashing against Vincent's
chest. I want to climax with him, it will feel more real.
"Oh, Sav-" he moaned against my mouth as I took and wrapped my legs around his waist. "You... Feel... Oh shit!" I felt his chest vibrate against mine and his hands squeezed mine harder.
"Its okay, baby," I said against his lips since I knew he was fighting his own release. As I said it, his tongue slid into my mouth and stroked mine. My own release was ripping through me and he had me pinned against the bed so I could not control my motions.
I felt his dick jerk inside me and then he collapsed on top of me. We were both out of breath and feeling the excitement of our climaxes still ripping through us.
"Can we stay on the boat tonight?" I asked as he slowly got off of me.
"Of course."
