“Ugh, no.”
Roeq began walking up the small hill.
“You have no idea what rocks might be under the water.” Was she the only one thinking about that?
He shook his head as he hiked to the top and glanced down at her on the beach. “The computer in my suit already scanned the bottom of the pool. I’ll be fine. Won’t even get near the bottom of the pool.”
“I hope you’re right.”
Roeq backed up and then after a couple of seconds charged towards the edge of the cliff. Her eyes widened as she appreciated the form dashing across the hill. Her eyes watched his arms pump through the air, his muscles bunching up under his tanned skinned, and then he launched himself into the air.
Nayli’s eyes followed him down until he plunged under the water in a brilliant display of spraying water. She clapped her hands in front of her face in excitement as a smile pulled at the corners of her lips.
The water smoothed over, and the smile slowly faded from her face.
“Roeq?” She called out taking a step closer to the water. “Roeq?!”
Her heart slammed into her throat as she dashed into the water. Horrible thoughts flooded through her mind as she got into deeper water and swam over to where Roeq had gone under.
Right as she reached the area, Roeq popped up with a roar, his arms wrapping around her.
Nayli let out a squeal of fear before clasping her hands around his shoulders. “You scared me.”
“Sorry about that.”
“Twice.” Nayli scowled at him. “I thought you drowned.”
His face turned serious as he met her eyes. “I didn’t mean to cause you any worry. I just couldn’t help myself.”
She smacked his chest. “I can’t blame you for trying to have a little fun. Guess after everything that’s happened I just expect the worse.”
One of his hands came up and smoothed her purple hair back away from her face. “That’s completely understandable.”
She lifted her eyes to see droplets of water dripping off the curvature of his grey horns. Leaning in, she placed a kiss to his lips before drawing away and swimming towards the shallower end until she was in chest deep water. She could hear Roeq swimming after her. Once she had her feet planted firmly on the slippery rocks on the bed of the pond, she turned to see her Krocosian swimming towards her.
“The water is decently warm,” Nayli remarked as she reveled in the feeling of the liquid rushing over her skin in delicate caresses.
“It must be fed by a hot spring or some sort of underground thermal.” Roeq swam up behind her. “Here,” his hands wrapped around her head and guided it back until he was able to wet her hair, “let me help you.”
“Mmm.” Nayli closed her eyes and sank back as his skilled fingers massaged her scalp while his black claws scraped gently against her. “That feels so good.” And after all the stress she’d recently gone through, it felt like ultimate bliss.
“You like this?”
“What woman doesn’t like having their hair played with?”
“I’ll keep that in mind.”
Her heart soared in her chest. Despite being stranded on a random planet, she was happy. More than happy. This experience was taking a pleasant turn, and for once in her stressful career, she felt more relaxed than in years.
Nayli cracked her eyes open and looked up at Roeq who’s eyes were hooded as he concentrated on the task at hand. She wasn’t sure the smile on her lips could grow any larger.
Her eyes skimmed over those massive grey horns to his broad cheekbones where a bit of stubble was beginning to grow. She wanted to reach up and run a hand over his cheek, but she also was reluctant to end this head rubbing.
Then her eyes drifted down to his firm lips.
“Need something?” Roeq chuckled.
“A kiss wouldn’t be remiss.”
Roeq bent down, his horns encompassing her head before dipping into the water as he planted a kiss to her lips. It was just a soft tender kiss that lasted a couple of seconds before he pulled away.
Nayli leaned up, her dripping wet hair trailing down her back as her feet landed back on the rocks under the water. Raising a hand out of the water, she beckoned Roeq forward with a finger.
His eyes darkened until the whites of his eyes disappeared into blackness. “What does my mate want?”
“Another kiss.” She wrapped her arms around his neck, leaned up on her toes, and drew his head down for another kiss.
The moment their lips melded together, their breaths mingled together as his tongue darted into her mouth, sweeping over her teeth before retreating back.
“Mmm.” Her eyes slid closed as his lips worked over hers.
Roeq wrapped a hand around the nape of her neck, pressing her lips firmly against him as he ravished her until her mind fled in a flutter of delirious wings. His kiss seared her all the way to her toes, and she felt his erection press against her stomach.
One of Roeq’s hands slipped between her thighs, and one of his fingers slipped between her folds, the warm water rushing past her excited flesh. His fingers lazily explored her as he continued to explore her mouth with teasing strokes of his tongue.
His finger slipped into her pussy, and she moaned into his mouth. Her body clamped down around his finger in excitement, knowing exactly what pleasure he could deliver to her. Then he slipped in a second finger, and she quivered in anticipation in his grasp. He began pumping his fingers into her, his palm driving up against her clit as his fingers stroked over the ridges into her sheath.
Nayli moaned and pulled away from his lips as her head arched back.
Roeq’s lips landed on her neck, his horns skimming past her face, never harming her, but caressing her.
Her cheeks heated as the pressure built inside her body.
“It feels so good.” She purred, loving the warmth of the water and the pressure of his fingers.
Roeq felt her body tremble around his fingers as he thrust them into her with force. She was so close to coming, and he wanted nothing more than to be inside her hot sheath and feel her clamping down around his length.
Her back arched some more, and his eyes were drawn to her nipples. Small droplets of water dripped off her tight pink nipples. His eyes were riveted to the sight, and then she raised a hand and began to cup and fondle one of her breasts.
Groaning, he watched as a rosy tint swept over her cheeks, and her lips parted on a sigh of ecstasy.
“I’m going to come.” Nayli groaned, her eyelids flickering open for a brief second allowing him to see her lust-hazed eyes.
She was enjoying every second of what he was doing to her, and it pleased him to no end. He ground the palm of his hand against her clit, and her body arched wildly as she jerked in his grasp.
Roeq broke away and scooped her up into his arms.
“Wha?”
“I need to taste you.” He growled as he hauled her through the water until they reached the pebble beach. Then he placed her on the rocks, knocked her thighs apart and took a second to take in the view of her spread out before him.
Every part of her glistened like precious jewels in the sunlight with the droplets of water that covered her. Glancing down, his eyes caught on the sight of her plump pussy lips, which were pouting at him for not finishing what he started.
Kneeling between her thighs, his head descended until he was able to flick his tongue over the little nub above her entrance. Her body jerked in response.
“Eager?”
Nayli growled down at him before taking his horns into her hands and rubbed them.
Roeq’s eyes closed as he let out a groan. His horns were sensitive, and it felt like she was stroking off his cock with every pump of her hands.
His tongue flicked back out, circling her clit until her hands clung lazily around his horns, her only focus the cliff of pleasure she was precariously balancing on.
Her pink glistening folds pulled him in, and he leisurely swiped his tongue over th
em before sucking her clit into his mouth. Her hands tightened around his horns, and he knew she was about to shatter around his face.
Nayli’s eyes popped wide as her orgasm shook her, and she took in Roeq between her spread thighs. Her dark demon-like alien was both scary and downright erotic. His tongue gave her little time to take him in. He licked her like a man who’d been starving.
“Yes! Yes!” She called out eagerly.
Her back arched, and she flung her head to the side as the pleasure rolled over her like the rushing of the waterfall nearby.
Roeq’s tongue pushed against her clit as he circled the sensitive flesh.
“Oh, yes… so good…” She murmured as she tossed her head to the side.
Nayli’s body bucked under Roeq out of her control as she plummeted over the edge of pleasure. “Roeq!”
She barely heard him growl in appreciation as her body quaked around him. Her pussy wishing it had something to clamp down around as it spasmed.
Roeq moved over her, but barely left her a moment to understand what he was about. Suddenly, his hard length thrust into her, stretching her wide, and stroked the ridges inside her sheath.
A gasp of pleasure parted her lips as the orgasm intensified with this sudden change. Raising her hands to his back, she scratched her nails down his muscles, which were bunched as he pounded into her.
Her back ground against the pebbles under with every forceful thrust, and she enjoyed the smooth feel of the cold pebbles against her back. Her breasts jiggled between their chests as Roeq pumped above her.
“Yes, Roeq, yes!” The orgasm continued to roll through her.
Glancing up through her lust-hazed eyes, she saw him clenching his jaw, the veins in his neck standing out as he tried to hold himself back.
“Come inside me.” Nayli purred ready to feel him burst into her.
His jaw unclenched and with a couple more thrusts they came, their moans mingling and twisting around each other in the air. The noise was a chorus or two bodies receiving satisfaction.
Roeq snarled above her as he jerked into her, his hot seed searing through her sheath.
With one last moan, he collapsed on her, before rolling over, his length leaving her entrance.
“Perfect.” He uttered on a sigh.
Nayli smiled in her bliss. He made her feel perfect… every caress and word out of his mouth. If only they could figure out a way for them both to race and be in a relationship.
Chapter 10
Nayli wasn’t sure sleeping with him was the right move. At the moment, she was cuddled against his chest inside their cave after yet another bout of sex. They couldn’t seem to keep their hands to each other… then again, there wasn’t much for them to do while stranded.
She could feel her heart breaking over the longing she had pumping through her chest. She wanted nothing more than to be with him, but she still believed that their jobs would stand in their way. And she still saw no way past it.
Roeq’s arms tightened around her. “Are you awake, my mate?” His smooth voice washed over her eyes, sending tingles racing through her.
“Yes. I’m having some trouble staying asleep.” Which was surprising with how tired she’d felt after their little romp in the water yesterday.
“I can feel you tensing up. What are you thinking about?” One of his hands brushed up and down her spine in soothing caresses.
“Nothing that will please you.” It didn’t even please her, and she wasn’t sure she wanted to spread the unhappiness, but they still needed to talk it out. She hadn’t lost hope they would be rescued.
He heaved a sigh, his chest puffing out and moving her head slightly. “Thinking about our jobs?”
“Yeah.” Nayli leaned away from him so she could stare into his onyx eyes. “I’m not refusing what’s between us,” she placed a hand on his chest, feeling the beating of his heart under her palm, “and what you might feel towards me, but I am worried our jobs will slowly drive us away, and neither of us wants that.”
“The universe wouldn’t put us together only to tear us apart.” She could hear the conviction of his belief in these instincts that drove the matehood. “We will find a way to be together without one of us having to sacrifice our joy for racing.” One of his clawed hands came up and stroked the back of her head. “I love this hair color.” He lifted a handful of the purple strands.
Nayli smirked. “I dyed it purple when I was a teenager to stick it to my mother, and then I grew used to the look and kept it.”
“I like it. It suits you perfectly.”
“Thanks.” She smiled even more. She wasn’t trying to piss her mother off, but she did want to show that she was someone who could take care of herself and didn’t need to be coddled.
Her stomach chose that moment to growl.
“Sounds like it’s time to get up and get you fed,” Roeq remarked with an amused chuckle that shook her head some more as it bounced with the movements of his chest.
“I’m in agreement.” Nayli agreed.
Roeq unwrapped his arms from around her. “Time to get dressed then.”
“Sounds good.” She might be tired, but she wasn’t sure she’d be getting any sleep any time soon. The peacefulness of sleep eluded her.
They both slipped back into their suits, but not until she snuck a few free glances at his toned body. Boy, she was lucky. That Krocosian of hers was chiseled straight out of a solid piece of stone.
Once they were ready, he led the way out of the cave and out into the forest with her quick on his heels.
“What are we hunting?”
“Anything we can catch.”
It wasn’t the best sounding plan, but she didn’t have anything better to suggest. “Let’s get going then. My stomach is about to eat me alive if we don’t fill it.” She groaned, and he looked over at her. “What I wouldn’t give for one of those peach and liver nutritional bars.” She grimaced. “I never thought I’d say that, but it’s true.”
“Don’t worry. Your mate will see to your every need.”
“Prove it then.” Nayli challenged a smile spreading across her face.
“I will.” Roeq accepted the challenge. A slight bounce in his step as though he was more than happy to show her how good he could be at seeing to her needs.
He led them further into the forest, and she followed after curious how he planned to get them some breakfast. It wasn’t often that a space-faring woman got to see a Krocosian hunt down some alien animals.
A low hum filled the trees, and Nayli paused. “Do you hear that?”
“Hear what…” Roeq trailed off as his head perked up, and then his dark eyes met hers. His eyes went wide.
“A ship!” They both exclaimed together.
“How do you attract their attention?” Nayli felt excitement threaten to burst out of her body, and she lost her mind a little, unable to collect her thoughts.
Roeq shook his head. “I don’t have anything on me,” he patted his hands up and down his suit, “but we can head back to one of the halves of my ship and see if there is anything in there still working.”
“Wait.” Nayli’s eyes widened. “I left a beacon on in my ship. If it’s still active, they might go there!”
“Then we will go to your ship.”
“You know the way.” Nayli ushered him forward with a hand, hoping he was more level-headed than herself.
Roeq nodded before sprinting off, with her right beside him. Her heart thundered in her chest in excitement. They were about to be rescued!
She couldn’t wait to get off this planet and back into space where she belonged. She couldn’t wait to continue the race that she was going to demand a re-run of the last segment… someone had sabotaged her, and she deserved another shot at winning.
As they pulled up next her ship, Roeq couldn’t help the excitement building up inside himself. Breathing in deep breaths, he calmed himself. He had to keep his head level if they wanted any chance at attracting the attention
of whatever ship they’d heard.
He was ready to get off this planet and back to a normal life. Here he’d been worried they might spend the rest of their lives down here.
He could hear Nayli panting beside him after their mad dash through the forest.
“Are they coming?” She scanned the skies around them.
“They may have passed over, saw no one and searched the immediate area. Do you have a flare or anything that would attract their attention back to your ship?”
“Uuuuh.” Then Nayli jumped into gear, clambering into her ship.
Roeq remained outside in case the ship came back around for a second look. He wanted to make sure they couldn’t miss any signs of life, but no matter how hard his eyes searched the sky above them, he wasn’t seeing any ship.
“Got something!” She hollered from inside the ship.
“Good! Now bring it out here and let’s get them back here!” If they missed this opportunity to attract the ship’s attention, they may never get off this planet. Once the ship thought there was no one alive down here, they might go into orbit and disappear forever.
“Here.” Nayli dropped down from her ship’s hatch and handed over a flare gun.
“Good. Now let’s hope this does the trick.” Roeq loaded the flare gun, aimed it into the sky above them, and shot off the round.
The flare of plasma shot high into the sky before exploding in a brilliant display of red and blue streaks, which stayed in the sky for several seconds, burning bright.
“Now what?” Nayli asked as she sidled up beside him.
He glanced down at her, and her quivering amber eyes looked right back up at him. “Now we hope they saw the flare.”
“And if they didn’t?”
“Then we get comfortable because this planet might just turn into our home.”
“I love the idea of being with you forever, but not the idea of living on this planet forever.” She grimaced.
He wrapped an arm around her shoulder and brought her into his side. He understood her completely. Living here for the rest of their lives would be difficult… and might lead them to an early death. “Let’s worry about that when we have to worry about it. For now, let’s not panic.”
