The Rancher's Daughter's Revenge Page 17

by Callista Hawkes

“My God, that felt incredible!” You finally moan. Jake’s stubbly jaw scrapes against your soft cheek as you feel him nod. He abruptly pulls away, his cock slipping from inside your raw pussy and making you gasp at the suddenness of it. He rolls onto his back next to you. Feeling exposed and utterly vulnerable, you cannot bring yourself to meet his gaze. You roll onto your side, your back to him.

“I want to ride you.” You tell him, gazing intently into his blue eyes. Jake nods, smiling up at you as you clamber astride him. Reaching between your legs, you tug the gusset of your underwear to one side with one hand and grasp his thick cock with the other. You guide the tip to your entrance, the bulbous head pressing against your wet lips. His shaft feels so thick and you chew your lip pensively for a moment, suddenly fearful of taking him inside you.

“You okay, sweetheart?” Jake drawls. You nod and lower yourself down on him, gasping as you impale yourself on his rigid cock. You wince, gritting your teeth, feeling him stretch you as he fills you with his length. Leaning forward and resting your hands on his chest, you tentatively begin to move back and forth. The discomfort soon passes and you grow in confidence, riding him harder and harder.

“Oh God, that feels good!” You moan. His cock, wet with your juices, slipping easily inside you now.

“I can’t rightly disagree.” Jake groans, his hands reaching up to cup your breasts through your shirt. You gasp with pleasure as his fingers play across your sensitive nipples.

“Suck them.” You breathe, leaning forward as you grind yourself against him with wild abandon. He nods and quickly unbuttons your shirt, pulling it open. He tugs down the cups of your brassiere, exposing your breasts before craning his head forward. You gasp with delight as he traps a swollen nipple between his lips, sucking on it before flicking his tongue over it.

“Yes, yes.” You murmur, holding his head to your chest before guiding him across to your other breast. He lavishes the same attention on your other nipple, his tongue swirling around the hard bud. The contrasting sensations of his thrusting cock and talented lips combined with the thrill of losing your virginity has your climax swiftly approaching. You slam yourself down on him, the initial discomfort now long forgotten as the heat between your legs rapidly builds. Jake pulls his face from your chest and glances up at you.

“Goddamn, that feels good.” He grunts. “You’re getting me close, darlin’.” You’re past caring as you vigorously ride him towards your own orgasm that you know is just moments away.

“Don’t stop!” You implore him, his cock pistoning in and out of you. Your mouth drops open as you reach your climax, your pussy clenching around Jake’s shaft as your whole body shudders in ecstasy. The sensations seem to radiate out to your extremities as you buck on top of him, gasping into the night. Jake’s hands grip your hips, his fingers digging into your flesh and you feel him stiffen beneath you before his deep grunts of release join your shrill cries of delight. You can feel his cock twitching inside you, flooding your pussy with his thick seed. The sensation seems to amplify the last few moments of your own orgasm until you slump forward, your climax subsiding. As you gaze down into Jake’s eyes, you smile shyly, suddenly feeling extremely self-conscious. Climbing off him, you slip your breasts back inside your brassiere and fasten up your shirt before lying back down next to him.

You flinch as you feel Jake’s arm slip around you, his hot breath at your ear.

“Damn, that was intense.” He chuckles. You stiffen, embarrassed at your moment of weakness, at allowing your lust to consume you. A sigh escapes your lips as you wonder what your father would think of you now, losing your virginity to a man you barely know.

“Call me crazy,” Jake whispers, “But that wasn’t your first time? You had done that before, right?” Blinking back the tears, you shake your head. “Damn!” He breathes as you cringe with embarrassment. You both lie there in silence for a moment, your mind reeling, the shame of what you have done conflicting with the sheer thrill, excitement and pleasure of it.

“What’s become of me?” You finally murmur. “I’m no better than a common whore.”

“Don’t you fret, sweetheart.” He replies. “You ain’t the first good girl to give in to her lust and sure as hell won’t be the last. Just ‘cos you’ve gone and laid with a man, don’t make you a whore. I’m sure a heartfelt confession and a coupla dozen Hail Mary’s and God’ll forgive ya.” You nod, comforted a little by Jake’s nonchalance. As you relax, you melt into Jake’s embrace, drifting off to sleep.

You awake to find Jake standing over you, silhouetted by the sun at his back. He is already dressed, his hat pulled low over his brow.

“Good morning.” He grins as you stretch out your arms and yawn. “We’d best be on our way. We’ve got a train to catch!” You nod and crawl out from beneath the blanket, feeling a little self-conscious as you retrieve your clothes and hurriedly pull them on.

The four hour ride to Lonely Peak station feels a little awkward, conversation sparse and stilted. It’s a relief when you finally see the outline of the small town on the horizon. You’d never been this far from Lennox Creek before, but you’d heard Lonely Peak had been just an outpost until the railroad tracks were laid five years earlier. Since then, it had rapidly grown and thrived. As you draw closer, the buildings certainly have a new sheen to them. The timber frontages are in excellent condition, the paint fresh and the streets bustling. The bell at the top of a clock tower in the center of the town square chimes eleven times.

“Looks like we’ve made it with an hour to spare.” Jake grins. “You think we should go wait at the station? Might be worth our while checking the local saloon. Good chance we’ll find the dogs there.”

Wait for them at the station

Go searching the saloon for them

“If we know the Kane gang are going to be at the train station, I think we should wait for them there.” You reply.

“Can’t argue with your thinkin’.” Jake shrugs with a grin.

You make your way through the busy streets of the town towards the station, securing your horses outside and stepping up onto the low timber platform. A number of people are already waiting. A well-dressed gentleman stands with a look of disdain on his face as he looks about him at the dusty landscape. A young man stands arm in arm with his sweetheart, who giggles at his jokes. An elderly man stands over a battered trunk, constantly checking a silver pocket watch, shaking his head and muttering to himself. However, of the Kane gang, there is no sign.

“It’s early yet.” Jake shrugs. “They’ll likely show their faces only when the train is drawing in. They are wanted men after all.” You nod and remove your hat, fanning yourself with it as you wait.

You glance up at the top of the clock tower, the minute hand clicking over to four minutes to noon. The station had grown busier over the last few minutes as the scheduled arrival time drew nearer, but Jake had not recognized any of the newcomers as members of the Kane gang. You hear a low murmur from the crowd with some pointing into the distance. You can see a plume of white smoke billowing up low on the horizon. You watch intently as the cloud of smoke grows larger, the dark shape of the onrushing train forming beneath it. While you can’t yet hear it, the rails vibrate and hum.

“Where the hell are they?” Jake murmurs to you.

“Maybe it was horseshit and they’re not robbing this train at all.” You reply. The faint sound of the train builds as it thunders towards the station, a shrill whistle announcing its imminent arrival.

“Arbogast’s never lied to me before.” Jake mutters to himself. “He wouldn’t dare. They’ll be here.” He adds confidently. The train slows as it approaches, the rhythmical sound of the steam engine becoming more labored. It draws in, the gathered crowd shuffling forward expectantly as it slows to a halt. Jake pensively studies the crowd as they slowly file into the passenger cars and take their seats. There are some freight cars to the rear of the trai
n and a harassed porter assists some of the passengers in guiding their horses into one.

  “What now?” You ask Jake.

“We’ve either got to board ourselves or follow on horseback, see if they’re lying in wait.” He replies.

“Or assume they’re not robbing this train and do neither.” You suggest.

“That being the case, the trail is stone cold.” Jake replies grimly.

  Board the train

  Follow on horseback

  Abandon the hunt

“They’re not coming.” You tell Jake, your voice deflated. “No point wasting any more time and money on a fool’s errand.”

“So that’s it?” He replies, incredulously. “Those men killed your father!”

“What men?” You snap at him. “They’re not here! They might be a hundred miles from here for all we know.” Jake slowly nods, his shoulders slumping.

“Goddamn it!” He growls, reluctantly accepting the situation.

You stand in silence as the last of the passengers file on board and porters stow the remaining horses and luggage. A guard blows his whistle and the train slowly draws out of the station, building up a head of steam.

“What now?” Jake asks you as you watch the train disappear into the distance. You glance up into his expectant eyes and begin to laugh.

“I have absolutely no idea.” You reply.

“Wanna get drunk and screw?” Jake grins. You blink in surprise, your immediate reaction to slap him across his face as hard as you can. Instead, you slowly nod.

“Why not.” You reply, returning his smile. As you both make your way towards the saloon, you try not to think too far ahead. For now, whiskey and sex is enough. The rest you can think about tomorrow. Or maybe the day after…

  THE END

Go back a few moments and rethink your actions

“Maybe they’re already on board.” You reply, trying to keep the desperation out of your voice. “Let’s get the horses loaded up and get on ourselves.” Jake nods and you retrieve your horses, guiding them up the ramp into the horse car where they are hitched next to the others. The timber slats of the sides have broad gaps between them, the sunlight casting dark stripes across the livestock within. Jake pulls his rifle from behind his horse's saddle and slings it over his shoulder. As you step back down the ramp onto the platform, a shrill whistle fills the air.

“We’d better get on board.” Jake tells you as you hurry along the platform towards the passenger cars. You climb up inside, finding most of the seats taken. There’s a broad variety of people aboard: black clad missionaries perhaps on their way to try to save the souls of the heathen Indians, salesmen in cheap suits clutching battered cases of their wares, a family with a fraught mother while the father buries his head in a newspaper and does his best to ignore the boisterous antics of their unruly children. Finally finding a spare seat, you slide in next to the window, Jake taking the aisle seat.

“I’ve never traveled on the railroad before.” You tell him as the car jolts, the train slowly drawing out of the station as the labored chug of the locomotive engine gradually builds in tempo.

“Yeah?” He replies disinterestedly. Turning from the window, you see he is studying the other passengers around him.

“Recognize any of them?” You whisper.

“None of them are our mutual friends.” He replies. “I’m gonna take a look in the other cars, see if I can spot any of them.” He clambers out of his seat, returning a few minutes later, his shoulders slumped.

“They ain’t here.” He tells you as he sits back down. “Sons of bitches have given us the slip.” Your heart sinks as you realize your chance for vengeance is rapidly fading. Frowning, you turn away, blinking back tears as you gaze at the desolate scenery flying past. Your attention is drawn to a cloud of dust a little way ahead and you focus on it.

“I don’t think they have!” You tell Jake excitedly. “Look!” You point at five men on galloping horses, closing in on the train with each passing moment.

“Well I’ll be goddamned!” He grins, drawing a disapproving glare from a rather dour looking middle-aged woman sitting across the aisle from him. “C’mon sweetheart. Let’s send those bastards to hell!” He clambers back out of his seat and you follow him along the aisle to the end of the car. When he opens the door at the end, you can hear the howl of the wind as the train thunders on. You step to the side of the narrow platform at the end of the car, leaning on the railing as you peer along the side of the train. Up ahead, you can see the outlaws clambering from their horses and one after another, leaping onto one of the freight cars.

“They’re on the train!” You tell Jake. He takes your place and follows your gaze.

“Reckon they’ll be goin’ for the engine.” He tells you. “They’ll stop the train and get the gold off. We haven’t much time.” You make your way through the next two cars, drawing curious glances from the passengers as you walk purposely down the aisle. The next two cars are freight cars with the locomotive engine and coal tender ahead of them. Jake steps across the gap between the cars and grips the rung of a ladder up to the roof of the freight car. As you glance up at the train roof, you blanch at the thought of walking across the top of the speeding train.

“Don’t worry, it’ll be a piece of cake.” Jake grins confidently before beginning to clamber up the ladder. Taking a deep breath, you step across the gap and onto the ladder, climbing up behind him. You scramble unsteadily to your feet and walk carefully along the car roof, Jake a few paces ahead of you. White clouds of steam billow from the engine’s flared chimney ahead, the air thick with it.

“You think the gold will be in one of these cars?” You shout over the howling wind and the thundering locomotive.

“Gotta be.” Jake calls back. “No idea which. You want to try this one or the next one?”

  This one

  The next one

“Let's try the next one.” You tell Jake. “I reckon the gold is more likely to be closer to the engine.”

“Okay, let's find out.” Jake grins, bowing his head against the strong turbulence roaring around you as he runs forward and effortlessly leaps the gap between the two freight cars. Trying not to think of what would happen if you don't make the jump yourself, you sprint and launch yourself across the divide, stumbling as you land on the very edge of the next car. With your heart thumping and adrenaline coursing through your veins, you scramble back to your feet. Jake is busily unfastening a raised hatch in the car roof and you find yourself mildly annoyed that he seems oblivious to your moment of peril.

“Here, give me a hand with this.” He calls out as you join him. Between you, you swing it open. Jake peers down into the gloom within before nonchalantly jumping through the opening into the darkness below.

  “Anything?” You call down.

“Just me, a few crates and enough gold to buy Louisiana twice over!” He shouts back up. “Come on down.” You dangle your legs through the hatchway and tentatively lower yourself into the car, dropping down to the floor. The only source of light is the daylight shining in through the small hatch and through a few narrow gaps between the timber slats on the walls. Even in the dim light, you can see the huge stack of gold bars glinting before you.

  “Incredible.” You murmur.

“I know.” Jake replies. “Kinda makes me want to take up robbery myself, lookin' at all that beautiful gold.” At that moment, the train judders and you are both jolted forward, nearly losing your footing as you steady yourselves on a nearby timber crate.

“We're stopping!” You breathe, hearing the brakes squealing.

“Looks like the Kane gang's taken the train.” Jake nods. “We'd best get into cover.” You nod and follow him behind a crate, crouching low as the train slows to a halt. You can hear excited voices outside and your blood runs cold as you recognize the sound. It's the same whooping and hollering you heard back at the ranch on the evening your father was murdered. Moments later, the interior of the freigh
t car is bathed in sunlight as the large side door is pulled open. You both shrink into the shadows behind the crate.

“Well goddamn, have you ever seen anything so pretty?” One announces.

“Well, there was this whore's titties back in Dodge City...” Another offers.

“Shuddup.” The first snaps. “Let's get all this gold loaded onto the cart and get the hell outta here.”

“Yes boss.” The second replies. You cautiously peer around the side of the crate. Three men are taking turns to pick up a gold bar and carry it over to a cart alongside the train. A fourth outlaw stands nearby, guarding what appears to be the engine driver while the fifth man is somewhere outside your field of vision. Your hand subconsciously tightens around the butt of your revolver as you wonder which of the men is Ethan Kane.

“What do you think, sweetheart?” Jake whispers in the darkness. “At this range, we might be able to gun them all down before they even get a chance to react.”

Leave cover and gun them down

  Pick them off from cover

“Let’s try this one first.” You shout back. “No point doubling back on ourselves if it’s not the next one.” Jake nods and you both move towards the middle of the car roof to a raised hatch cover. He grits his teeth as he lifts it, swinging it over on it’s hinge. You both peer down through the opening into the gloomy interior.

“Okay, let's check it out.” Jake shouts, dropping down into the car. You follow him inside, dropping heavily onto the car floor. Sheltered from the deafening roar of the train, you can hear Jake's footsteps in the darkness.

“Nothin' but crates of tools and farming supplies by the looks of things.” Jake calls out, a lit match in his hand. “The gold must be in the other car.” At that moment, there is the high pitched squeal of the locomotive's brakes and you both stagger forward as the train abruptly slows.
