Get in the Bible and find out everything it has to say about the young people you care about. Then begin to confess what the Word says into their lives. Say what the Bible says about them, instead of what the television and the world say about this final generation.
At every opportunity, let the children you care about hear you speaking words of faith, words of power and words of strength over them.
My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22).
Parents, speak the Word of God to your children and stop depending on the church and the Christian schools to do everything for you. You can send your child to every Christian school in America, but you are risking your child's eternal soul if Christian values are not reinforced in your home.
Take these confessions of the Word of God and insert the names of the children you are guarding in prayer in the blank spaces.
Father, thank you for your life-giving Words. Thank you that your Words are faithful and true, and they do not return to you void (Proverbs 4:22, Revelation 19:11, Isaiah 55:11).
Thank you that by the blood of Jesus, ________has been bought back from the hand of the devil and all_______ 's sins are completely forgiven (Ephesians 1:7).
The blood of Jesus Christ continually cleanses ________from all sin. By the blood of Jesus he/she has been made righteous in your eyes, just as if_______ had never sinned.
_______ is sanctified and set apart unto you (1 John 1:7, Romans 5:9, Hebrews 13:12)
________'s body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and has been bought with a price. Satan has no power over him/her because _______ is covered by the blood (1 Corinthians 6:19,20).
________has the fruit of the Spirit growing in his/her life.
Today, ________has love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, meekness, temperance and faith (Galatians 5:22,23).
________is an overcomer. He/She overcomes by the blood of the Lamb and the word of his/her testimony. ________ is submitted to God and the devil flees from him/her because_resists him in the name of Jesus (Revelation 12:11, James 4:7). 32
________has overcome Satan, for greater is He that is in_than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).
No weapon formed against________shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
________'s righteousness is of the Lord. Whatever he/she does will prosper, for ________ is planted by the river (Psalm 1:3).
________is delivered from the evils of this present world for it is the will of God. No evil will befall him/her, neither shall any plague come nigh his/her dwelling, for the Lord has given his angels special charge over ________.
They keep ________ in all his/her ways, and ________'s pathway is life and not death (Galatians 1:4; Psalm 91:10,11; Proverb 12:28).
Thank you that________is delivered from every scheme and snare of the devil. Every stronghold and vain imagination is pulled down and brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Father I confess your Word in Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP) that says that the plans you have for ________ are to prosper and not to harm him/her, but to give him/her hope and a future.
Thank you that according to Psalm 1:1,2 _______ will not stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.
________'s delight shall be in the law of the Lord as he/she meditates on it day and night.
Thank you, heavenly Father, that you have given us your Word to stand on in an evil age, and that as I war in the spirit on behalf of________, no weapon formed against him/her shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against ________ in judgment they will condemn, because this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of you (Isaiah 54:17).
PRAYER
God is looking for people who believe the Word, know the truth and are ready to do spiritual battle in prayer.
He has brought you along in the fullness of time to stand in the gap for the final generation. This is an awesome responsibility. Are you ready?
... and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
(Esther 4:14)
If you are going to guard our precious heritage, you must KEEP YOURSELF STRONG. Don't feed your spirit the junk of the world. Develop a personal relationship with the Father by feeding your spirit with the Word of God, praying in the spirit and spending time in fellowship with Him.
Don't ever lay your head on your pillow at night without raising a prayer covering over yourself:
"God, I give you my mind. My mind will think only thoughts of blessing tonight. I commit my mind into your hands. No force from without may attack my mind while I sleep, for Father, you never sleep, and you never slumber. If there is anything that comes to my mind, it must be filtered through the Holy Ghost and your Word."
"I reject all bad dreams. I reject all nightmares. Right now, I raise a prayer covering over my mind. You will keep me in perfect peace because my mind is stayed on you" (Psalm 121:3, Philippians 4:7, Isaiah 26:3).
Do the same for the young people in your life. If you are a parent, lay your hands on your child every night and say,
"This child will sleep in the safety and the peace of the covering ofprayer that surrounds my precious little one. No force from the supernatural sphere, no principality, no power, no strategy, no design, no desire of the enemy can penetrate the covering of prayer I raise over this child" (Matthew 16:19).
We are all called to pray for these precious lives, so be strong in the spirit. Remember, we are all that is standing between the devil and this final generation.
Before you send your children off to school each morning, lay your hands on them. Raise a prayer covering over them that day so no crack dealer can give your thirteen-year-old free crack.
Pray a hedge of protection around them so the evil in the world will in no way touch or influence them.
. . . I will hedge up thy way with thorns, and make a wall, that she shall not find her paths (Hosea 2:6).
Pray for God to place His hand upon this generation so they will begin to flow in the gifts of the Holy Ghost.
The devil's forces cannot penetrate your prayers. Get down on your knees in prayer, and wet the carpet with your tears.
Spend time in travailing prayer. Intercede for the souls of the children in this nation that have NO ONE standing in the gap for them. They don't need a humanistic, self-help program. They need Jesus, and they need your prayers. Get on your face and begin to pray.
Let me guide you to victory through intercessory prayer. Are you armed with the blood? Do you have the sword of the Spirit? Are you girded about with truth? Are you wearing the breastplate of righteousness?
Shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of peace, take up your shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, and let's go to battle. Let's not allow another child go to hell!
Devil, we're drawing a line in the sand. No weapon formed against our young people shall prosper.
Father, in the name of Jesus, teach us to pray. Give us your heart—a heart for the lost, the weakest, the frailest and the smallest. Fill us with the same compassion Jesus had to reach out and loose our youth from the icy tentacles of Satan's grasp.
THANK HIM
Thank you for your infinite grace and mercy. Thank you that you loved us so much you gave your Son, as the spotless Lamb, so we would not perish but have eternal life. Thank you that when Jesus shed His precious blood, it was for healing, preservation, protection, deliverance and soundness.
Thank you for your Word that tells us when the Lamb was slain, it was "a lamb for my house and for my neighbor's house," and that blood covers my family, my friends and my loved ones. Thank you that we have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, the sacrificial Lamb of God, and can come boldly before you to plead His blood.
BIND THE DEVIL
Thank
you for giving us all authority in the name of Jesus (Luke 10:19). We bind every sexual perversion, every spirit of suicide, and every spirit of the occult. We bind every spirit of depression and oppression that would attack these young minds. Satan, we bind you from coming against their bodies. We rebuke every tormenting spirit.
Father, we loose the Holy Spirit in their lives, and pray that, by your Spirit, you will draw this last generation to you. Set them on fire and birth revival in their hearts. Give them a hunger and thirst to know you in all your fullness.
Thank you that the demonic hordes of hell must stand at attention and hear the words of the Living God. I bind them now and render them inoperative in these young lives. I thank you that your Word is life to our bodies and health to all our flesh.
PLEAD THE BLOOD
I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over these children and confess total deliverance and healing in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against them can prosper. They are washed in the blood and no demon hordes from hell can cross that bloodline.
Satan is defeated through the word of our testimony and the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 12:11). I plead the blood over these children and bind Satan from operating in their lives (Matthew 16:19).
May the resurrection life of God dwell in their homes and lives today and forever. May victory be the total domain of their lives. May they trample hell under their feet. May they bring souls into the kingdom of God for Christ's sake.
PRAY IN THE SPIRIT
Pray in the Spirit, and let the Holy Ghost pray through you.
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26).
You don't know what you're praying about when you pray in the Spirit. You may be stopping a bus that the devil has planned to run some children down. You may be running interference to keep the drug pushers out of some young person's path. You may be stopping a sexual deviate from snatching a child from the playground.
Pray for salvation of all children who don't know Jesus as Savior and Lord. Pray for them as if you were the only one holding their hand as they slipped toward eternity in hell. Loose yourself to pray in the Holy Ghost.
Loose your spirit and allow God to pray through you. Abandon your mind, your surroundings, your wants and your body.
God gave you the gift of tongues as the stepping stone to get into the realm of the spirit. Launch out in the deep. Launch out into the power, authority, dominion and anointing of God as you pray in the spirit.
Don't do it softly; don't do it quietly; don't do it in your mind. Loose yourself into the realm of the spirit until you feel the Holy Spirit deep within your belly praying through you.
Don't be ashamed of your Holy Ghost language. It's your stepping stone into the the spirit realm. Learn to use it.
If that unknown language is coming from your mind, it's not the Holy Ghost.
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries (1 Corinthians 14:2).
Praying in the Spirit comes from your belly— from deep within you—and rushes forth like rivers of living water.
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38).
Be like Jacob and get passionate about it! Refuse to let go until you experience the full impact of being loosed into the river of God.
Pour your soul out before God. Jesus prayed so passionately that drops of blood appeared on His brow.
Learn to flow in the Spirit. The time is coming when it will be too late to look up Scriptures and recite from your prayer books.
Pray our children discover that there is more to God than there is to drugs and alcohol. Pray they find the depths of God.
Dig down until you hit the depths of God. You may be saving lives as you do. You may be saving the life of an innocent child who has no other hope but YOU.
Pray with the authority of a tongue-talking, blood-bought, Holy Ghost-filled child of the Living God. Tell the devil he can't have this generation. Tell the devil he can't have their bodies. Tell the devil he can't have their minds.
Refuse to allow fear to remain in this generation of young people another moment. Refuse to allow the spirit of failure to remain in them. Refuse defeat as an option.
By your prayers, you are calling in multiplied thousands of young souls who are heading to hell unless someone intercedes for them.
In the name of Jesus, call this generation into the Kingdom. Pronounce blessing on their homes. Pronounce blessing on their families. Pronounce blessing on every person that walks through the doors of their homes. Loose finances into their families. Loose finances into their lives.
Bind sickness and disease in these young peoples' lives. Bind infirmity and pain. Release the spirit of health. Loose the spirit of joy and rejoicing, the depths of praise and the heights of worship.
Sanctify their homes. Sanctify their bodies. Sanctify their minds unto the Lord.
Claim your city for God. Pray for the salvation and deliverance of lying politicians and homosexual teachers who are perpetrating New Age philosophies into the minds of our children.
Pull down the strongholds of the secular press. Bind principalities and powers. Demand every pornography shop in your city to be closed down. Demand abortion clinics to go out of business. Demand it!
You don't have to ask; you are in authority. Cast down spirits of incest, spirits of murder and spirits of perversion. Bind the homosexual devils on this nations college campuses.
Begin to praise and worship Almighty God for who He is ... Our Righteousness Our Deliverer Our Provider Our Healer Our Peace.
Pray in the freedom and power of the Holy Ghost until you loose victory! Loose the tangible presence of God and sense the victory. Feel the shout of a holy God begin to well up within you.
ANOINT THEM WITH OIL
You have a weapon you may not know you have in your kitchen cabinet. Take some oil and consecrate the children you are committing to pray for unto God.
It doesn't matter what kind of oil you use, just do it. Put a little oil in your hand and touch their forehead in faith, believing for God's protection against the forces of darkness as you pray. You can use the same prayer as the one below, similar to the one I used to pray over the children in my church.
The oil is the symbol of God's Holy Spirit that will overshadow and protect that young life until he or she has an opportunity to say yes to Jesus and make Him Savior.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over (Psalm 23:5).
PRAYER TO ANOINT THE CHILDREN
Father, I believe in your divine power as I release the anointing of God for protection, provision and power into the lives of our children.
Look down from your holy habitation, and loose a supernatural anointing of ability, acceptance and authority into their lives.
Devil, the oil marks these children! You will not touch them! I command you to get your hands off of them.
I rebuke all childhood diseases. I rebuke all infirmity, pain, malady and malfunction from their lives. I command all accidents to be moved from their way. I command their guardian angels to stand up and take notice. I command them to watch over these children and protect them, lest they dash their feet against a stone, or peril or calamity come nigh their dwelling place.
Satan, I serve notice on you—our children are the heritage of the Lord. They are priests unto God. They are apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. They are cunning in all their ways.
Wisdom is multiplied upon them. They learn quicker, and they are smarter and brighter than the children of the world. Just as Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were anointed, let your anointing come upon these children, in Jesus' name.
A PARENT'S PRAYE
R
Lord Jesus, you have given this eternal creation into my hands to protect. I have the responsibility to see to it that these children make it to Heaven. Father, I commit to you, that with your help, we will lead a godly life and set a godly example for them to follow. In Jesus' name, they will hunger for you, thirst for righteousness and be called the children of the Lord. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for your enabling power.
PRAYER FOR LOST CHILDREN
Father, I pray right now for every young person who is outside the arch of safety and mercy of your love. Just like the prodigal son, they've tried religion, friends and the things of the world, yet they are still hungry.
I command the scales of blindness to fall from the eyes of every one that is far from you.
I pray, Lord, you will send laborers into their paths to minister the truth of the Gospel to them. May they see their need for Jesus as Savior and Lord of their life.
Holy Spirit, convict them of sin and convince them of righteousness. Today, Father, meet them at the point of their need. As they repent of their sins and turn their hearts toward you, meet them, change them and give them eternal life. Thank you for your grace and mercy that abounds forever.
A CHILD'S PRAYER FOR SALVATION
Dear God, I am sorry for my sins. Jesus, I believe that you died and you came back to life so that my sins will be forgiven. Please come into my heart to live and to guide me. I am giving my life to you today. I will read my Bible and pray at least five minutes every day. Thank you for saving me.
A TEENS PRAYER FOR SALVATION
Heavenly Father, I come to you born a sinner; I've committed sins which have separated me from you, the source of all life, joy and peace. I'm tired of what this world offers. I'm tired of empty dreams. I'm tired of trying to do my own thing. I'm tired of being miserable inside.
Jesus, I believe you died for me, rose from the dead, you're alive today, and that you love me. Jesus, come into my life now. Forgive my sins, give me eternal life and let me know I'm on my way to heaven.
Jesus, receive me now. I receive you, accept you and confess you as my Savior. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Let me know beyond all doubt that I'm on my way to heaven. Though none go with me, still I will follow. Jesus, change my heart, change my ways. You alone are the Lord of my life. I'm going to live for you as you show me how, in Jesus' name. Amen
