“In its discomfiting black comedy and unflinching truthfulness about disability, this play is up there with Peter Nichols’s Day in the Death of Joe Egg.”
—Paul Taylor, The Independent
“Fraser taking us close to the edge of our comfort zones before rescuing the moment with a line that makes us laugh. Sex and disability, end of life planning, loneliness, emotional dependency—it’s all in there, but presented with such a light touch, and so keen an instinct for storytelling that it all just washes over us.”
—Jo Caird, What’s Onstage
“Fraser wisely avoids preachiness, writing perceptively about sacrifice and endowing all his characters with some stingingly smart lines.”
—Henry Hitchings, Evening Standard
