  Harley Schwadron is a self-taught cartoonist living in Ann Arbor, Michigan, who worked as a journalist and public relations writer before switching to cartooning full-time in 1984.   Cynthia Stewart-Copier is a successful business owner, author and speaker. She has had the opportunity to speak to audiences around the world. She is an important story contributor to the New York Times bestselling holiday book, Christmas Miracles, and appeared in December with Barbara Walters on The View. Cynthia and her story were a featured part of a half-hour segment devoted to the book. She will have two stories in the forthcoming book, Mother's Miracles. She has had many stories published, with the most recent in Dreambuilders magazine, a magazine for successful business owners. Cynthia's newest book, Dreams of My Own (Internet, April 1999), was inspired after attending Mark Victor Hansen's and Jack Canfield's seminar, "How to Build a Speaking and Writing Empire."

  B. T. Thomas was educated in the Philadelphia school systems. She was married to Ronald Mark Thomas and has one daughter, Stacee Marie (Thomas) Nettles. She is "Mom-Mom" to two lovely grandchildren, Ronald Marc and Morgan Alexis. She completed her masters of ministry in biblical studies and has now received her doctor of divinity from the Jameson School of International Ministries. B. T. has been involved in international missions since 1982. She has two self-published books, From the Heart of a Blessed Temple and Grandma's Quilt: Her Stories and Ours. She has taken early retirement to pursue her writing and missions endeavors.

  JeVon Thompson has been one of America's premier power speakers since 1980. A member of "Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities" and a recipient of the 1974 Merit Award, JeVon is a Milton College graduate with a B.A. in psychology. As a musician, he worked with Handy Award winner Luther Allison and completed a student apprenticeship with the Duke Ellington Band. His lectures and seminars on personal power span across the United States, Canada and throughout the Caribbean. He has been featured on ABC's All My Children, a nationally televised Oprah Winfrey special with Michael Jordan, and hosted a Tele-Link special, Keep Our World Tobacco Free. He is the producer of four educational videos, including the national bestseller, Waking Up from Dope. His writing credits include the novel Crutches and co-authorship of Teen Power Too.

  Rosa Torcasio resides in Norwalk, Connecticut. She is a junior at the University of Connecticut where she majors in human development and family relations. Her career goal is to work with less fortunate children and allow them the opportunities to advance both academically and socially. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family: her parents, Francesco and Antonia, and also her sister, Serafina, and her brother, Vincenzo.   Kevin Van Gundy is an international business consultant and professional speaker who helps companies create and care for customers. Currently, Kevin sits on the board of several companies and is actively involved with the startup of two others. He lives in Grand Junction, Colorado, with his wife Lauryn and their four children. In 1996, he was selected by the U.S. Government-funded Citizens Democracy Corp to travel to the former Eastern Bloc country of Bulgaria to start one of its first advertising agencies. Kevin is a recent graduate of the Masters in Public Administration Program at the Colorado University at Denver. He is deeply involved in politics and has already run for public office twice. His focus is on the subject of generativity and he spends a great deal of his time motivating young people to become involved in the American political system and to vote! He is in the final stages of writing his first book, Titanic: An American Allegory, which is scheduled to be published in fall 1999 by Pendant Publishing, Inc.

  Tal Vigderson was born in San Diego, California. Tal has an undergraduate degree in film from San Diego State University with distinction in his major. He has had careers in photography, entertainment marketing research and teaching in several grade levels, including special education in a junior high school in south central Los Angeles. Tal attended law school at Loyola of Los Angeles and passed the California Bar. He is currently working as an entertainment attorney in Los Angeles representing filmmakers, writers, directors, producers, Internet companies and major studios in various forms of transactional work.   Daneen Kaufman Wedekind is from Bridge City, Texas. She enjoys writing and is a columnist for an online parenting magazine, All Mixed Up. A mother, a nurse and a writer, Daneen finds the greatest joy in her children, Kristofer and Kameron. She considers the two most precious gifts in her life to be the hugs of her children and the written word. She gives special thanks to God for the ability to write, and to Mark for the ability to love again.

  Joan Wiberg is a cartoonist and illustrator living in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Her cartoons have been published in national magazines for adults and children.

  David Wiemers is a writer and producer of many of your favorite television shows, including Major Dad, Harry and the Hendersons and DuckTales.
