“Turk get the fuck off of me!”
“Not gon’ happen shawty. Who the fuck was that nigga that you was out there pussy poppin’ on?”
“Nigga you ain't my man, so don't fuckin worry about it.”
I know it’s the liquor talking but damn. This display of sass that she was on at the moment has my dick rock hard.
“You still mad at me?” I ask as I push her into the wall, getting all up in her face.
“Turk move. I don't have time for this shit.”
“Oh you don't have time for me now?” I ask pulling the romper down.
Because it was strapless it came down easy, exposing her perky breasts. I take her nipple in my mouth, teasing it with my tongue. I hear her release a soft moan, so I keep going. When all of a sudden she pushes me back.
“What?” I ask with a confused expression on my face.
She pulls her romper back up. “I’m not messing with you like that Turk. You looked me in my face, after I gave you my virginity and lied to me just like that.” She says as she opens the stall door.
There are a couple of females standing there playing like there are putting on make-up. But I see right through their asses, they just being nosey, probably so they can go be messy.
“Wait Ronnie, damn,” I say before pulling her back to me. “What did I lie about?”
“You lied when you said that you wouldn't hurt me,” she says as she looks down.
“I ain’t down there so look at me.”
She does and the look on her face makes me feel like shit. It is the same look she had on her face the night Tay busted my ass out.
“I ain’t mean to hurt you Ronnie.”
“Well you did.” She says as she snatches her arm away before walking out of the stall and out the bathroom.
She doesn't know it but I am going to get this shit right no matter what I have to do.
Chapter Seven
Cruz
“First met the bitch, they said they real sisters.” I sing loudly into Vanity’s ear.
“I don’t give a fuck if they was real sisters,” She stands up in front of me and starts dancing to Future’s hit Real Sisters. This is our shit.
I grab her hand and pull her to the dance floor with me. The club is packed as hell so it’s kind of hard to get through the crowd to the dance floor. The city really showed up to show my bruh some love. We stop right beneath the large black and gold WELCOME HOME RICO banner. As soon as we find us an empty spot on the floor I bend over and commence to shaking my ass. I’m popping and shaking like a video hoe. It’s even better with my best bitch by my side turning up with me.
Vanity’s is right next to me, straight jamming. All I need now is my other baby. I stand up for a second scanning the room for Ronnie. When I see her, I wave her over. I am so happy when her little friend, Stasia opts to stay at the bar. I don’t mind her, she’s actually pretty cool. But when she’s around, Ronnie kicks me and Vanity straight to the curb. As soon as she sees me Ronnie already knows what’s up. My baby sister walks over and immediately starts dancing. She’s not even all the way to us yet and she’s already moving. When she gets close enough to us, she wraps her arms around each of our shoulders.
“Fuck around with me, I fuck twin sisters.” She lets us go and stands back on her heels dancing.
I point at both of them rapping along with Future while popping my ass. Van is still getting it. Dancing at the strip club got my girl on it. She twerking the hell outta her ass. Shit, we all are. I smile at them as we continue our dance. I love my sisters. We haven’t been able to really chill since school started and I miss them. The beat on the song drops again so I place my hands on my hips and move my shoulders to the beat. I grab a handful of my hair and pull it back over my shoulders, out of my way just as Waka Flocka’s, No Hands sounds throughout the club.
“Ayyyyyyeeee get it Cruz. Get it baby, get it.” Vanity is in my ear hyping me up. She knows this is my song. I’m bent over with my ass tooted up in the air, giving everybody that’s watching a show.
“Turn up then sis.” Ronnie stands next to me and starts twerking right along with me while Vanity is standing in front of us hyping us up.
Vanity is waving her arms around as she raps along with Wale. “Them my best friends, them my best friends. Fuck it up best friends.”
I can’t help but laugh as she talks. These two here are my fucking life. We use to party together all the time when we were growing up. No matter who I’m out with, don’t nobody get me turn't up like my sisters. They are my turn up partners. I’m having so much fun with them, I didn’t even see Ali walking up on me until he presses his body up against my ass. For a minute I assume it’s Vega and I start dancing even nastier. I’m grinding all over him while he’s feeling me up. I can feel his little man getting harder and it is at that moment that I realize that this was definitely not Vega. Vega’s dick is a lot bigger than what I’m feeling. I look over at Vanity and she’s giving me the side eye and shaking her head discreetly.
When I turn around, he’s standing there smiling with his fine ass. Now although I’m a little hot with him at the moment, I can’t help but to smile. This is one fine ass man and he gets paid out the ying yang. He got more money than he even knows what to do with. He’s a financial advisor and clearly, he’s very good at his job because his money is long as hell. He’s around Vanity and Vega’s age, but he and I have been kicking it for a while. Well we used to, that is before I met Vega. Before I got with Vega, he was one of my main things. I even kicked it with him for couple of months, when me and Vega first started dating.
It wasn’t until I started falling in love with Vega that I decided to call it quits with Ali. He’s a real sweetheart and very generous but he just didn’t do it for me. He’s about medium height, nice caramel complexion, pretty teeth, dimples in his cheeks and his chin. He has muscles for days, which I’m not a big fan of, but he’s that nigga for real. He just ain’t the one I want. He used to love himself some me too. From the way he’s standing here looking at me, I can see that he still does.
“Why you stop dancing?” He asks as he grabs my hand.
Because my man will kill your ass, is what I’m thinking in my head.
“I didn’t know it was you,” is what I say out loud.
“You’re still looking as beautiful as ever. I miss you Cruz.” He leans over and whispers in my ear.
Of course I blush. “Thank you Ali. You’re looking nice yourself.” I smile at him and look to the side to see where my sisters are. They’re both nearby still dancing. My eyes dart to where we left Vega and Rico, thank God they’re not looking over here.
“What’s a man got to do to get you back?”
“I’m in a relationship now Ali. You know that.”
He shrugs his shoulders as he sticks his hands in the pockets of his dress pants. “What’s your point?”
“See, why you gotta do that?”
“I had you first. Let me take you out tomorrow or something. We can hit the outlets. I know how much you like to shop.”
See he knows shopping is my weakness. I used to go on shopping sprees galore when I was talking to him, but even that doesn’t sway me. I love Vega. What we have is more than anything money can buy. True enough I’m still a little hot with his ass about that baby mama shit but I’m still not about to bow out. At least not until I know the truth.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea. As a matter of fact me standing here talking to you might not be the smartest thing I’ve ever done either.” I can feel Vega’s gaze on me. I look quickly and just like I thought, he’s staring me down. I look back at Ali. He’s looking me up and down like I’m a piece of his favorite candy or something while licking his lips and stuff.
“Your man here?”
I nod my head.
“Well I don’t want to get you into any trouble. You know where to find me if that nigga ever messes up.” He says as he grabs my hand and kisses it. “As always, it was a pleasure
seeing you beautiful.” He walks past and rubs his hand across my ass and palms it. “Oh and keep this out the air. A man might forget his limits.”
I fight the smile trying to spread across my face. Vega is going to act a fucking fool. I can already feel it. It’s just damn near impossible to hold my smile in. Ali always makes me feel all giddy inside. Satisfied, he walks away and Vanity and Ronnie rush over to me.
“Have you lost your mind Cruz? Vega was looking right at you,” Ronnie says.
I hear her say something else involving Vega but I’m only half listening. Vega doesn’t necessarily have any room to feel any kind of way about me talking to an old friend.
Vega will be all right. I wasn’t doing nothing but talking.”
So you trying to buck?” Vanity is smiling at me.
I shrug. “Not on purpose, but I ain’t about to worry about whether or not he’s mad.”
Vanity holds her hand in the air. I slap high fives with her before we both turn and look at Ronnie.
“Y’all two ain’t shit.” She says while she’s smiling and shaking her head.
“Nah lil’ mama we just some playas. We don’t love these hoes.” I say to her as I start back dancing.
Vanity and Ronnie both look at me. Vanity is smiling while Ronnie is still shaking her head. Oh well, I’m enjoying myself so I keep right on dancing. The champagne I just drank at the table has me feeling myself. All three of us dance a few more songs before Rico walks over and grabs Van.
“Aye lil’ sis, cuz wanna holla at you.” Rico nods his head towards Vega.
I’m tempted to roll my eyes but change my mind. I already know Rico will hem my ass up when it comes to my relationship with Vega. These are two of the most loyal and faithful men I’ve ever met. I don’t know if it’s the Puerto Rican in them or what, but they don’t play when it comes to being in a relationship. Being that Vega has a baby on the way that may no longer be the case when it comes to him though.
“Alright, I’ll be back.” I turn to walk away but I turn right back around. “Oh and WELCOME HOME BROTHER!” I yell before walking away. I’m damn near drunk.
I know he and Vanity are probably laughing at me but I don’t stay around to find out. I switch my small hips towards Vega. The red bandage two piece skirt and bra set I’m wearing is hugging my body wonderfully. My hair is flat ironed straight with a part in the middle and my neck and wrist are both shining. Vega showed out with this iced out diamond bracelet and necklace set. He gave it to me just this morning. I know it’s a guilt gift but so what, I took it anyway. I can feel him staring at me so I make eye contact and hold it.
He needs to know I’m not for his mess tonight. If he’s feeling salty about me talking to Ali, he might as well let that go before I get all the way over there. I am not in the mood for it at all. I am not playing with Vega tonight. I don’t know if it’s the liquor or the fact that I’m holding Vega’s infidelity in as the reason I’m starting to feel a little resentment towards him. He’s sitting slightly on the barstool with his long legs stretched in front of him and a pair of black pants.
The red button up shirt he has on brings out his skin tone in a major way. Tonight his other heritage is outweighing the black in him, because he looks completely Puerto Rican. The only thing that reminds you that he’s half black is the way he’s dressed. He looks like a sophisticated street thug. He’s sipping on a bottle of Moet as he watches me approach him. His eyes are taking me in with such a fierce intensity. It’s a bit unnerving, but I hold my own and stare right back at him. When I’m finally in front of him I step close enough for our chests to connect, but I don’t touch him and he doesn’t touch me.
He’s looking down at me with a small frown on his face. I put on the most innocent face I can muster and look right back at him. His cologne is attacking my nostrils and I can feel my anger dissipating. Got dammit! I want to stay mad. I hate that he does this to me. He’s doing absolutely nothing right now but standing here and all I want to do is love him. That’s my problem; I love him, too much, sometimes if that’s even possible. We stand here staring at each other saying nothing.
Vega takes a sip of his drink while he looks off into the distance. “Why you fucking with me?”
“What you mean?”
He looks down at me. “I mean, why do you fuck with me?”
I’m a little confused as to what he’s asking and I’m sure my face shows it. “Vega, explain to me what you mean. I’m really not following you.”
He slams the bottle he’s drinking from down on the bar behind him and grabs my hand. He’s walking so fast I’m having a hard time trying to keep up.
“Vega, slow down. My heels are really high.”
This nigga keeps right on walking fast, as if he doesn’t hear me. I guess he thinks holding my hand tighter is going to help since that’s the only thing he does to appease my stumbling. He pulls me down this dark ass hallway until he stops at a little door on the corner. When he walks in, the two girls that are inside jumps up and walks out. He pulls me in front of him and slams the door closed. It’s a lot quieter in here. I look at him waiting for him to say something but he doesn’t.
He sticks his hands in his pockets and pace the floor. I watch him walk back and forth unsure of what to say or do. I don’t know if he’s mad about Ali or what. He looks at me as he walks but then looks back at the floor.
“Tell me why you fucking with me Cruz?” His tone is laced with anger.
I’m still confused with this question so I don’t say anything.
“I said, tell me. Why you with me? Why are we together if you’re going to do shit like that?”
“Shit like what? What I do?”
He stops right in front of me but doesn’t remove his hands from his pockets.
“You’ve been acting an ass for the last couple of days. I don’t know what you heard but whatever it is, the shit ain’t true.”
I cross my arms and say, “No I have not.”
“Don’t fucking lie to me Cruz!” His yelling catches me off guard. “Yes you have and you know it.”
Vega runs his hand over his head.
“Me and you are better than this shit. If you got something I need to know, then you tell me. But you walking around pretending not to be mad, then dancing and smiling with other niggas in the club ain’t the right fucking move.” He turns around and punches the door.
Oh hell.
There’s a noticeable crack in the wooden frame. I look down at his hand quickly to see if he’s hurt. I don’t see anything but I’ll check again later to be sure. I look at him trying to make sure he’s not losing it. I know how my being mad with him affects him, but he’s cutting up right now. I take a few steps back.
“What the fuck you moving for?” His glare is murderous.
I look everywhere but at him. Normally his presence doesn’t intimidate me, but right now he’s making me a little nervous. When I finally make myself look at him his face looks a little more sympathetic.
“Cruz, I’m not going to hurt you. I’m just a little confused right now. I don’t know what to think. You got your ass all over other niggas in front of me. Then you see me looking at you and you still smiling and talking to the nigga. You ain’t never been on no disrespectful shit like that. I just don’t know, I mean what’s up mami? Tell me something.”
I instantly start to feel like shit. Here I am acting all wild and my baby is going through changes because of it. Yeah I’m mad but I still don’t know if that baby is his. Then it’s not like I’ve given him a chance to explain. I look at his tall frame leaning against the door. His legs are outstretched and he’s looking at the floor.
“I don’t like this shit. I can’t even fucking think.” He says when he looks at me. “Come talk to me baby. Please...I need to know what’s up.”
I walk over to him thinking about how ashamed of myself I should be. I don’t stop until I’m standing between his legs and our bodies are pressed against one another. I wrap my ar
ms around his waist and look at him. He doesn’t move. His hands remain in his pocket and his eyes are still dark.
“I’m with you because I love you Vega. I love you. I- love-you.” I say slower so he’ll know it’s real. “I’m not gon’ lie the things I was told hurts and it does have me feeling a certain type of way, but that doesn’t change the way I feel about you.”
“Yes the fuck it does. You haven’t been the same with me.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Who was that nigga?” He looks down at me.
“Ali,” I look down at the floor because he knows who Ali is.
His body is tense as his breathing speeds up.
“I don’t want him. I didn’t then and I don’t now.”
Vega tries to move out my grasp but I hold on to him tighter, and he’s forced to lean back against the door.
“See Cruz, this is what I’m saying.” He shakes his head and removes his hands from his pocket. He runs his hands over his face before looking at me again.
“Usted me está haciendo loco porque te quiero mucho.”
Although I love when he speaks Spanish to me, right now is not the time. Especially because I know he’s frustrated with me. That’s one of the only times he does it.
“You know I don’t understand what you just said.”
“I said, you’re making me crazy because I love you too much.”
“Vega, can we please just go home?” I ask. I’m exhausted and this isn’t really a conversation I feel like having at the club.
He looks at me so long without saying anything that I think he’s not going to answer. In a way he didn’t, because all he did was grab my hand and lead me from the room. We walk hand in hand back down the hall. Women are staring us down. I know they want my man but that shit won’t ever happen. I look right back at their asses. Vega on the other hand acts like he doesn’t even see them. He’s walking me over to Rico and Vanity. I stand to the side with him still holding my hand as he and Rico exchange words. When they’re done I say bye to him and Vanity and follow my baby out the door.
