Through Rosie-Colored Glasses: Book Three in the Game Winner Series Page 11

Cassidy has been great with my daughter. Rosie already looks up to her like she’s her big sister. In fact, Cass is helping Rosie with her Aquatic Therapy.

Right after her summer semester was over, she was approved to do her clinicals at Lane and Lap. She wasn’t even halfway through when they offered her a job after graduation next month.

Von is over the moon to have his daughter back home. I have to be honest; it’ll be somewhat weird to have her living with us.

“I think Rosie’s room is already,” Von says as he comes out of what used to be his office. He happily gave it up so Rosie had her own room.

I wrap my arms around his waist and lay my head on his chest. “Thank you for looking out for us.”

He kisses the top of my head. “You three are my priority, Carol. I’m just glad Chris was amiable to taking over head coaching so I could retire. When it comes to you, I don’t ever want to make the same mistake I made with Mia.”

“I know, but don’t worry Von. I’m not afraid to tell you when you’re screwing up.”

He throws his head back in laughter, “I’m sure you aren’t and neither are our daughters.”

My heart is content as we begin our new life together. I’m grateful our family and friends are well too. Sophia and Leo will be welcoming a new son in three months, and my brother God love him is just trying to keep up with the two girls in his life. I have a feeling he may just need a little help from Von once the season starts.

I’m pretty sure Von will be ready to go back to work at least part-time once he realizes he can balance both a family and work. After all, I’d miss our secret rendezvous on our work breaks if he doesn’t.

Angela Nicole resides in Upstate NY with her husband, William. With two graduate degrees in both education and business, Angela spent the last 23 years working in higher education. Wondering what to do with the conversations that were going on in her head, she put pen to paper, fingers to keyboard and wrote. Writing is quite a change but a change that she loves. As an avid reader, Angela fell in love with romance novels that feature alpha men with hearts of gold. If you enjoy them as much as she does, check out her Mastered Hearts Series.
