“Gag him and tie him up,” he barks. “He might be useful.”
“What are we going to do now?” one of the men replies. “The FBI knows.”
The stranger waves away his concern like it’s nothing more than a pesky fly. “This changes nothing. We still have a job to do.”
“They know we’re coming, though.”
“Doesn’t matter. I’ve always enjoyed a good game of cat and mouse…” An evil grin slices his lips apart, revealing stark white teeth. “Or, I guess in this instance, cat and rat.”
“But—”
“You know what we have to do!”
“I know, I know,” the other man mutters. “Uccidi la ragazza.”
“Exactly.”
Kill the girl.
