Prologue
Lance
"I hate you, Lance Spelling." She hissed.
I gripped her wrists and pinned them above her head. Her breath hitched when I leaned down to whisper in her ear seductively. "Baby, you really know how to turn me on. Shall we fuck first and fight later?"
"Fuck you, Spelling." She whispered.
"Yeah," I drawled out, "I think we already played that."
"Oh yeah," She smirked, "How does it feel to be in love with a woman that will never be yours?"
"Low blow, Martinez. Low fucking blow."
I closed my eyes and blew out a harsh breath. Everything she said was true. I was in love with my brother's girl and I hated that. And most of all, I hated that Camila Martinez could see right through me. I also hated that I was starting to feel something for her.
Chapter 1
Camila
Lance Motherfucking Spelling. The only one that can get under my skin. A cocky little shit who thinks his shit doesn’t stink. I popped my gum as I thumbed through my magazine. My brother stood on the other side of the counter and placed a bottle of Jack Daniels on it. I closed the magazine and sighed. I scanned the bottle and said, “$27.50.”
He throws two twenty-dollar bills down and smirked, “So, guess who I ran into?”
“Not interested,” I muttered.
“No?” He grinned.
“If the initials are L.S., then no.”
I could care less about that dick.
“So, you going out tonight or…”
“Trevor coming over?” I asked.
He nods and gestures to the bottle. “I wouldn’t have bought this if he wasn’t.”
“I’ll probably just crash at Lila’s house tonight.”
I tried to give the rest of his change, but he shook his head. “Keep it.”
I put the bottle in a paper sack and slid it across the counter.
“Catch ya later, Senorita.”
I opened my magazine back up and continued to read. I heard the bell chime as the door opened and slammed shut again. I looked up from my magazine and rolled my eyes as Lance shot me a smirk. “What do you want, Spelling?”
“Well, I thought I was going to get me some liquor.”
“Fucking liar.”
There was only one reason why he was here. To continue to torture me. Just like last week. He posted my number on all the walls of the men’s bathrooms. Every damn store in town. Gas stations. Bars. Even posted it on the billboard on the outskirts of town. I had to change my number. How he got my number, remains a mystery to me.
“You’re right, I’m not here for the liquor. I’m here to see if you’ve received any strange calls.”
“This is fucking war.” I hissed.
“Bring it on, baby. I’ll be ready for anything you throw my way. Then after, I’ll pull your lacy panties to the side and fuck you into oblivion.”
“I wouldn’t fuck you if you were the last man on Earth.”
“No? I bet you would, Martinez. Why don’t we put a little wager on it?”
“No.”
“I bet you fifty bucks by the end of the month, you can’t stay away from me.”
“And what do you get if you win?”
“Isn’t it obvious? I’ll take the pleasure of being the one who brought Camila Martinez to her knees.”
“Who says you’ll win?”
Lance licked his lips and cupped his balls. “Damn, you got me all hard over here. Want to take care of my problem?”
“I’d rather gouge my eyes out. Keep dreaming.”
“What’s the matter? Is Martinez afraid she’ll lose?”
“I wouldn’t lose.”
Lance leaned on the counter and smirked, “Then prove me wrong, Senorita.”
“Fine. Prepare to meet your maker, fuck boy.”
“You’re on, darling. Get ready to get on your knees and let me shove my dick down your throat.”
“Just stop with the pranks.”
“Not a chance,” he promised.
“Then prepare yourself for an all-out war, Spelling.”
“Yeah? Then consider this my only warning to you. Be ready for me to take you down. I don’t fight fair, baby.”
“Good, neither do I.”
“I hate you, Lance Goddamn Spelling.”
“Good to know. I’ll remember that when I fuck you again. Just like old times, eh?”
Lance turned to leave, but I wasn’t done with him yet. Not by a long shot.
“Make sure you tell Aubree hi when your brother is balls deep in her pussy.”
Lance froze and slowly turned around, his eyes narrowed.
“Yeah, I’ll do that… right after I tell your brother hi when he’s fucking Trevor.”
“Fuck you, Lance. You don’t know shit.”
But he did. And I hated that the most.
“No? I know you’re in love with a man that isn’t even attracted to a pussy. How does it feel to love someone you can’t have and never will?”
“About as good as it feels to know Aubree is in love with your brother.”
“Touché, Martinez. Make sure to watch your back. You’ll never see me coming.”
“Don’t let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.”
Lance turned back around and held one arm up over his head, flipping the bird.
“Fuck you too, asshole,” I muttered under my breath.
I bit my lip and shook my head as Lance jumped on his bike, peeling out in the process.
Dick.
A goddamn miserable prick.
I glanced at the clock and sighed when I noticed it was only 7 p.m. Only another couple of hours until closing time. The door opened again and I smiled at Murdoch. He nodded and grabbed a bottle of rum off the shelf. He set it on the counter and grinned.
“Camila.”
“Can you do me a favor and tell your brother to stay away from me?”
I scanned the bottle and rang it up. “Your total is…”
“I don’t care about the total,” he says, pulling out his card.
He swiped his card and I printed out his receipt, handing it over.
“I’ll let him know for you. What exactly is the deal with you and him?”
“There is no deal. He’s a dick. Plain and simple.”
After a few hours, I pulled the till and placed the money in my purse. Not bad for a day in Sage, Oklahoma. I turned off the lights and locked the door from the outside. When I turned around, I clenched my teeth when I saw Lance leaning on my car.
“Get the fuck off my car.”
“Make me.”
“I’m about two seconds away from ripping your head off.”
“Yeah? Sounds like a date.”
“Just go away. It’s been a long day and I’m not in the mood for your shit.”
I opened my door and tossed my purse in my car and turned to face him. I glared, my fists
clenching. Lance leaned in and held me by the hips. I shoved him back, causing him to lose his footing. He widened his eyes and fell back, taking me down with him. My breath hitched when our faces were about an inch apart.
“Let me go,” I whispered.
“Told you, Martinez. I don’t fight fair.”
Chapter 2
Lance
My lips are just an inch from hers as I whisper the words.
“Told you, Martinez. I don’t fight fair.”
It wasn’t my intention to get this close to her. I hate her, right? Camila’s hair tickled my cheek as she sucked in a breath. This woman was the biggest pain in my ass. I don’t know why, but my pulse quickens. She smells like cherry blossom and bubble gum. It would be so easy to press my lips against hers. I should do it too. Just to piss the bitch off.
“I won’t say it again. Let. Me. Go.” She hissed.
“Make me, Martinez.”
“God, are you always this cocky?”
“Yes.”
“Let go of me before I…”
“Before you what, sweetheart? You can’t do shit to me that I haven’t already had done before.”
I licked my lips and stared at her chest. A slow grin spreads on my face when I see her nipples harden through her shirt. I loosened my grip and let her go before I do something I might regret. She stands up and dusts off her shorts. She turns to walk away and the sway of her hips has my dick hard.
A nice juicy ass ready to…
Nope.
Don’t finish your thought, Lance.
She’s a bitch.
You hate her.
I sat up on my elbows and watched her pull out of the parking lot. She gives me a fake smile and raised her middle finger. And I don’t know why, but that just turns me on even more. I collapsed on the pavement and groan as my head falls back.
“Fuck, what the hell am I doing?” I mumbled under my breath.
I jumped on my motorcycle and drove back home. Not that I want to go home. All I have to look forward to is Murdoch flaunting Aubree in my face. Maybe I’ll just go for a drive and clear my head. Instead, I find myself driving down the highway and breathing in the night air. My mind can’t help but think about that little saucy brunette. Not Aubree, the woman I’m in love with. But the brunette that got my dick hard as a rock just seconds ago.
I pulled up to a tree and parked my bike, leaning it on a tree. Just as I glanced up, I spotted a truck. Not just any truck. My brother’s fucking truck. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a cigarette, lighting it up. I took a drag and exhaled, blowing the smoke out. My jaw clenched when I met Aubree’s sex-crazed eyes.
Fuck.
Can’t catch a break, can I?
It may seem like I’m being a pervert watching Aubree get fucked by my brother. I know it’s wrong to watch them, but I can’t seem to tear my eyes away. That could be me. It should be me.
“Jealous?” I hear Camila’s smug voice.
“Fuck off.”
“You know, she doesn’t see you that way, right?”
My fists clenched tight as I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. This bitch was really pissing me off. I unclenched my fists and gripped her by the hips, shoving her against my bike. “Don’t. Just fucking don’t. You don’t know what it’s like to love someone who will never love me back.”
“Yes, I do. It hurts, doesn’t it? To know you would do anything for them only to have them shit on you. It hurts like hell, Spelling.”
“You don’t know shit,” I whispered.
“How about this? What if you loved someone who doesn’t even know you’re alive? That he isn’t even attracted to women? Huh? That is far worse than your situation. So, don’t tell me I don’t know shit, asshole.”
Camila averted her gaze and wiped a tear. I took her by the hand and squeezed, “How about we forget that we hate each other for one night? You and me go out for some drinks and have a little fun? When tomorrow comes, we can go back to hating one another. Deal?”
“Just sex?” she asks.
“Just a good fuck to forget about the pain,” I reply.
“And in the morning we go back to hating each other?”
I pulled her hips against me and brushed my lips against hers, “Yes.”
“I have one condition.”
“What is it?”
“No one finds out. For all they know, we just happen to be at the same place at the same time.”
“How about this? When we fuck, let’s have angry sex. Nothing but rough and nitty-gritty sex.”
“Now you’re talking. Want to get out of here?”
“Hell. Yes.” Camila laughed and shook her head, “You didn’t think it was going to be that easy, did you?”
“Actually, yes.”
Camila patted my cheek and said, “You’re gonna have to do better than that fuck boy.”
“You’re not gonna leave me like this, are you?” I asked, cupping my balls.
“Yes,” she smirks, “Looks like it will be just you and your hand tonight, Spelling.”
Shit.
She’s fucking brutal.
The bad part…
And I like it.
I unbuckled my belt and popped the button of my jeans. Camila widened her eyes and gasped when I unzipped my pants. I reached inside and took out my dick. She covered her eyes as I wrap my hand around my length.
“Put your dick back in your pants!” she hissed.
“Ohh yeah, Camila.” I stroke myself, “I bet you wish this was inside you.”
“You wish, Spelling.”
“This could be fucking you, but you just had to tell me no. Just say the word and I’ll fuck you real good.”
“Go fuck yourself.”
“Oh,” I grin, “I am. However, I wished I was balls deep inside your pussy instead. But I guess this will do… for now.”
I watched her eyes slowly rake over my body until she stopped at my dick. She swallowed hard and licked her lips. She can’t seem to take her eyes off me. I can’t seem to stop looking at her either.
Stop this, Lance.
This is the girl you hate… loathe.
But that won’t stop me from getting my rocks off to her.
“Stop it, Lance,” Camila whispered.
“Why? Is it turning you on, Senorita?”
“No, you could get arrested for indecent exposure.”
“Worried about me, sweetheart?”
“Not even close.”
“Come over here, sweet cheeks and help a man out, yeah?”
“Goodnight, Spelling. Have fun whacking it to your brother's girl.”
I cupped my balls and thrusted my hips, raising my middle finger and grinned. “Suck on that, Senorita.”
Camila curved her lips and turned around, bending over. She turned her head, looking over her shoulder as I see her middle finger coming out between her legs. “Oh yeah, I forgot to give you something. Merry fucking Christmas, fuck boy. Ho, ho, ho, motherfucker.”
It wasn’t Christmas.
But hell, it felt like it.
Camila had me feeling all kinds of things.
“Christ woman, you sure you don’t want my cock? Because that shit is hot.”
“Not a chance in hell!”
“Fuck you. Have fun rubbing one out while your brother is fucking Trevor.”
She turned and flipped me off with both fingers before walking away. I watched her ass sway as she walked to her car. And that’s when I blew my load. Imagining the things I’d like to do to her.
“Fuck,” I groaned, “Fucking hell!”
I see Aubree at the truck. She’s alone. It gives me the perfect chance to confront her about Murdoch. She turns and closes her eyes, letting out a long breath.
“Please Lance, I… don’t do this.” She whispered.
I scoffed, “Do what? You’re the one who… never fucking mind.”
“I'm sorry, Lance.” She apologizes.
“Yeah, I’m sorry too. I’m so
rry I didn’t fuck you when I had the chance.” I bite back. It’s a low blow, but hey, the truth hurts.
She slaps me across the side of my face. “You’re a dick.”
“Yeah,” I rubbed my cheek, “I am, but who held you all night when my brother broke your heart? That’s right, it was me, but I’m a dick. Right?”
