I had a great time putting together the ‘play’ list of books for each meeting. I wanted them to help drive the story, but I also wanted to include those I’d loved reading. It meant some were chosen for their titles (The Love Square) and others snuck in just because I couldn’t not include them (Gone Too Far, The Truest Thing). All but one were books I really enjoyed (my thoughts on that one were in line with Gira’s!).
Thank you once again to all my friends and family still gamely showing an interest in my writing; my Mum and Dad 2 (Anne and Keith), cousins Shelley, Karley, Kath, Kirsty and Hayley, my sis-in-law Jayne, friends Laura, Sonia, Jane, Carol, Tara and Priti (yep, you keep reading them, I’ll keep writing them). And of course thank you and a huge hug to my own very special octogenarian, my lovely Mum – here’s another one for you, you’ll have to read quicker!
To my husband, who gritted his teeth and ploughed his way through an earlier version of this so he could spot any howlers for me, I promise I won’t make you read another romcom … until the next time!
