  Chloe began to cry and just wanted to be home. She thought of her parents and wanted to be home with them. She needed her parents embrace and love at this moment. She wished she could call her friends as well, but the woods had no connection to the world. She sat down and looked out the window while she cried.

  Luke yelled from downstairs "Chloe, please lets talk!"

  "Please leave me alone!" yelled Chloe

  "We really mean you no harm dear" yelled Sky

  "I can't trust any of you right now. I got attacked by a wolf and here you guys are also one" said Chloe

  "We are not dangerous wolves, and we are only here to protect you Chloe" yelled Luke

  "I need time to think. Please stop bothering me" said Chloe

  Chapter 2

  What Is The Truth?

  The next hour Chloe spends it in the bedroom trying to understand everything that has happened to her. She grabs the first aid kit from the bathroom and disinfects her wound on her hand from the bite and wraps it. She realizes then that she was never dreaming or hallucinating. Luke did save her, and he was a wolf as well. Realization hits her that Sky and the guy downstairs just saved her life as well. She walks down the stairs slowly and hears Sky and the guy talking. She considers listening to what they are saying but starts heading back upstairs instead. She did not want to be rude, but then she hears her name and decides to listen in on what is being said.

  "What if I did not hear your call Sky? Why would you risk your life for that girl?" said the man.

  "I figured you or Luke would come, and I don't know why James...but I have grown attached to her in so little time. Something inside me tells me to protect her, and Luke feels the same" said Sky.

  "I understand, I do find her scent very alluring and distinctive." Where did she come from, and where is Luke?" said James.

  Sky looks at James with concern and tries her best to explain who and how special Chloe was.

  "Well he said a feral wolf was going to kill her in the woods, and Luke tracked her down. He said it was almost like a calling to her, but he left to handle a few things in town not long ago". said Sky.

  "What are we going to do now, she got bit by a feral? Why did Luke get involve with this? She is causing so many problems, and attention to us" said James.

  " I do not know but Luke is going to be very upset" said Sky.

  The front door opens, and James must have overheard some of the conversation because he is angry and curious. He questions the two about the conversation.

  "Upset with what? hello James I smelled your scent and blood from miles away...are you guys okay? I came as fast as I could" said Luke.

  "We are fine, almost fully healed already. We have a bigger problem Luke" said James.

  "I am so sorry Luke, I risked my life to protect her, but it was not enough" cried Sky.

  "Get to the point! is she dead?" yelled Luke.

  "No, but she got bit by a feral". said James.

  "She would not survive the transformation; this is not good. Feral bites are lethal, I just promised her mother she will be back soon". yelled Luke.

  Chloe repeats the word “transformation” in her head and grows worried. She walks down the steps and greets everyone.

  "I would like to start by saying thank you to all of you for saving my life. I was so confused and scared I did not realize how insensitive I have been with you all. My hand is really starting to hurt could one of you take a look at it please". cried Chloe.

  Luke takes a step towards her and grabs her hand. He looks at it and asks her to follow him upstairs. Chloe stares at him and follows him. He holds her on one side and helps her up the steps. She almost feels as if she was gliding up them or floating.

  "Luke...why did you lie to me, are you a wolf?" said Chloe.

  "Yes, I am, all three of us are. We are werewolves to be exact. We were born this way, but you on the other hand got bit, and are going to experience a very painful transformation soon. I will be here through it all with you. I have faith you will pull through. I need you to be strong for me okay?" said Luke.

  Chloe starts crying and starts yelling at all three of them. Her hand starts shaking vigorously; Luke caresses her hand to calm her down. Sky walks up to her and reassures her that she will be fine, and that they will all be there by her side to guide her.

  "I will give you a potion to drink the night of the super moon. We will all be at your mother’s house by noon. Please be sure to be there, this potion is the only thing that may help with your transition" said Luke.

  "How long do I have?" cried Chloe.

  "The super moon will begin in ten days from today" said Sky.

  "Your body has healed pretty well. The bite wound will heal quickly with this ointment I prepared. You will be well to go home in two days love" said Luke.

  "Thank you" said Chloe.

  The connection between the two have developed with every minute spent together. Sky gives her a hug, and Chloe starts to cry. James remains guarded towards Chloe, but he can't deny his growing connection to her. He tells her to be strong and to stay positive. Luke tells everyone to let Chloe get rest. He reminds her they would all be downstairs if she needed anything. He reassures her that she is safe in the cabin once more. He explains that with the three wolves in the cabin there really isn't anything that can hurt her again. James looks at her with disgust and walks out. Sky rubs her shoulder with a smile and follows James out the room. Luke goes to leave as well, when Chloe calls out his name. Luke looks back at her with a worried look. He walks back to her and places a gentle hand on her cheek. The rush from his touch was unlike any other. She was sure he felt it too.

  "Chloe you are very special...I don't know why, but I am really connected to you.

  From the moment I heard your screams for help in the woods, I felt a connection like no other" said Luke.

  Chloe reaches her hand out to his hand and thanks him for being so amazing.

  "I don't know what connection you all are talking about, but I do feel like I have known you all for a very long time. I feel the need to protect you all as well. All this is new to me, but I can promise you that I will try to follow along" cried Chloe.

  "We will all be here for you, always. Dinner will be ready in an hour, please go rest" said Luke.

  Luke kisses her on the forehead and wipes the tears running down her cheeks. Chloe smiles and lays down. Luke joins the others in the living room. Upstairs Chloe sits and thinks of everything that has happened and tries to nap. Several moments later she wakes up and is unable to rest after all the things that have transpired. She gets up and decides to join the others downstairs. When she makes it down the steps, she is hit with wonderful aromas coming from the kitchen.

  "It smells amazing down here!" said Chloe.

  They all look at her, and smile. "You are walking much better Chloe!" said Sky.

  James laughs "You are one tough one".

  "Yea I got bored up there, what are you guys cooking?" said Chloe.

  Luke peaked out the kitchen and winked at Chloe. "Some of everything! It should be done in a few minutes".

  Chloe notices that the men of the house refuse to wear shirts. Luke is topless while cooking, and James is watching television with just jeans on. The next fifteen minutes are spent getting to know each other. Sky grips onto Chloe's arm and never lets it go as they talk on the sofa. James is mesmerized by Chloe's beautiful eyes. He starts to grow an attraction for her but decides to brush it off. He is suspicious of her and hates that she has come into their lives with so many problems.

  "I see you guys don't believe in shirts" laughs Chloe.

  Sky laughs "Oh no dear! If I did not have boobs, I would not wear any either. As werewolves we are always hot, and I mean that in every way.

  James smiles, and you can hear Luke laughing from the kitchen. " Sky would you set up the table, James grab the wine from the refrigerator. Chloe will you need help sitting at the table. I know your ribs are still sore" Luke said.

>   Chloe smiles and places her hand over her ribs." I am just fine actually Luke but thank you. My hand hurts a bit, but I will just eat with my left hand today".

  Luke places the dishes on the table one by one. It is like a feast. There is a big ham, corn, pies, potatoes, bread, vegetables and all sorts of delights.

  "I did not know we were expecting guest today, this looks great! thank you" said Chloe.

  Luke smiles "Oh no dear, we eat this way every day! We have big appetites as wolves. Please enjoy".

  "At least we don't have to worry about weight gain" laughs Sky.

  "Guess that is one thing we have in common then. I have always had great stamina and shape. I am not always hot, but I prefer minimum clothing as well" said Chloe.

  James smirks and pretends to cough "We can tell".

  Sky punches James in the arm "Leave her alone! those are my clothes she is wearing".

  The four laugh and enjoy dinner, after dinner Luke tells Chloe to join him in the kitchen for a surprise. She gets up and meets him in the kitchen. Luke tells her to close her eyes and open her mouth. Chloe hesitates, but does as she is told. To her surprise it is the chocolate ice cream she asked for before. It is so delicious, and creamy. She was very pleased to know that Luke remembered. Chloe enjoys spoonsful of the ice cream while Luke watches in amusement. She leans in to feed him some ice cream but he refused it.

  "The dishes are in the dishwasher, that is the only clean spoon" said Luke.

  Chloe laughs and stuffs the spoon in his mouth. He smiles and thanks her for sharing. They share a laugh and lock eyes in the moment. For that moment it seems as if time has stopped, and no words were said. Luke grabs Chloe by her lower back careful to not hurt her bruised ribs. Chloe licks her lips knowing what was coming next. Luke softly kisses her soft lips. She lets out a moan and pushes away.

  "I am sorry, I know you are in a fragile state" said Luke.

  Chloe smiles " No need to apologize Luke, you have been amazing to me. The kiss was in the moment, and I enjoyed it. I have a question, is it safe enough to step outside to the porch? I have not had fresh air in a few days.

  "Yes, James is outside hunting, you will be safe" said Luke.

  Chloe heads outside and sits on a porch swing made of wood. Everything seems to be handmade by one of the guys. Nothing is sexier than a man who could build and hunt. She lets the breeze hit her face while she inhales the scent of burning wood and pine. The lake behind the cabin flows swiftly. Everything is almost picture perfect. The view and the weather were perfect. Warm in the daytime and chilly at night. She caught a glimpse of James hunting in the woods ahead. He is very handsome and strong. He has Indian hair, and fair skin. His hair was down his back, and he had very sexy slanted eyes. His face was strong as well as his body with high cheek bones.

  Chloe smiles "James you are very nice to look at. I can admire you forever, I appreciate everything you have done for me, truly. I know we don't really get along as well as the others, but I just want to let you know that you are special to me as well.”

  "It is my duty to protect you, and the pack. Now I must concentrate my dear" said James.

  She watches as James hunts and runs around the woods in lightning speed. When James suddenly stops in midair and turns to Chloe.

  "I think it is best you go inside now my dear. I smell trouble arriving soon" Yelled James.

  Chloe stiffens and moves back. She walks back up the porch steps and reaches for the door.

  "Please don't tell me more ferals" cried Chloe.

  "No, my love, this is a completely different visit" said Luke.

  Before she can open the door, Sky and Luke open the door and are side by side with James. Sky looks at Chloe, and realizes she is in shock. "Chloe wait for us inside Hun".

  Inside Chloe runs up the stairs and locks her bedroom door. She prepares for anything and knows of the dangers that can arise. She looks out her window and sees a woman approaching. Chloe takes notice of the woman's confidence, and beauty. She wonders why the woman has arrived so late at that hour.

  "What do you want Vil?" asked James with a firm tone.

  Vil was beautiful with a pale, almost dead skin tone and long beautiful black hair.

  "Is that how you greet your old friend?" said Vil.

  Sky walks towards the woods and yells " Vil what do you want?".

  Vil grills Sky and steps forward " Well I am here to relay a message. The headmasters have sent me. Do you invite me in, or should I go, and come back with the others?"

  James rushes towards Vil " Yes, you are welcomed but do not past the porch. What is this urgent message?".

  Vil speaks loudly "Control your wolves, or we will send the entire coven to end all of you".

  Luke steps closer with a confused look" What do you mean? We have not broken any laws or bothered any of you".

  Vil laughs sarcastically " We lost three vampires this week due to some wolf attacks in our very own village. You know the rules, we don't kill each other unless sent by the top coven headmasters for breaking laws. And we definitely don't cross each other’s property without an invite or business".

  "I see, well we are having problems with some ferals in the area as well. It has nothing to do with us or this pack. We did not create them, but we will send out people tomorrow night to take care of any other ferals that are out there. Sorry for your loss, we have been very busy, but we will get right to it" said Luke.

  Vil smirks " Yes I see, you have all been pretty preoccupied. You have a visitor upstairs. Her scent and blood smells delicious.

  Vil takes a step forward towards the house with a devilish smile. The pack pushes her back with warning.

  Vil laughs " Calm yourselves! I simply wanted to meet your new friend.

  Luke grows irritated and pushes Vil towards the woods "Vil your visit has ended, goodbye".

  Vil walks off and looks up, right to where Chloe is watching from her window and winks at her. The wink sends chills and shivers down her spine. Vil runs off and disappears into the woods with lightning speed. Chloe is shocked by her speed and stares at the woods, when a knock at the door startled her.

  "Chloe can we come in? said Sky".

  Chloe answers yes, and the three of them enter the room at the same time. They all carry worried looks on their faces mixed with anger. James blurts out that Chloe must leave tonight. She is surprised by the request, and she protest. She is not fully healed and is not ready to leave yet. She questions them, and Luke responds that she is well enough to travel. He grabs her hand and talks to her firmly. " Your bite wound has your body healing as fast as we do. Do as your told, your life runs in great danger. That was a one hundred-year-old vampire, and she will come back I can guarantee it".

  James grows worried" They think we are creating feral wolves. And the smell of the feral venom in you will be enough for her to come back with the coven. They have laws and can say we are disobeying them and kill us all.

  Sky hugs Chloe with tears in her eyes " And since ferals already killed some of theirs, they won't hesitate to kill you in revenge.

  Chloe panics and stands up off the bed “But can't you just explain that I got bit by a feral, and not actually one?".

  Luke sniffs the air " It is not as easy to do...when you smell the way you do my love".

  Chapter 3

  Vil Meets Chloe

  Chloe prepares herself to leave. A few minutes later, and they are all outside getting in the car. James decides to stay behind at the cabin in case something happens while they were gone. Chloe leans in to give James a goodbye kiss. Her scent captures James gaze, and he holds her close for a second longer to catch a good sniff. He lets her go and reassures her that he will see her soon to help with the transformation. On the way to the car all the werewolves stop in their places, and stare at Chloe. Sky grabs Chloe close and holds her behind her. Suddenly a very handsome man appears in the woods. He has long hair and pale skin like Vil did. He is dressed in a long black coat and seems very import
ant. He is the most handsome man Chloe has ever seen. She is memorized by his looks, and tone of voice. She thought the wolves were good looking, but this guy had them beat.

  The man sniffs the air “Wow, she smells amazing! Vil was right. However, that feral smell messes things up for her".

  Vil appears suddenly " Leaving so fast dear?" said Vil.

  James jumps in front of Vil " This is not the time Vil! Let us take her home".

  "And miss out on meeting this lovely creation? I don't think so darling" said Vil.

  Chloe attempts to speak but fails because of her nerves. She tries to speak again.

  " I am not a creation! I got attacked in the woods by a feral wolf".

  "She speaks!" said Vil.

  "Enough she is innocent!" Yelled Luke.

  In a blink of an eye the handsome stranger is face to face with Chloe. Von is too fast for the others to stop him.

  Chloe jumps back and cries " Please don't hurt me".

  "Begging does not look good on you darling" said Vil.

  Sky yells “enough” and creates a distraction long enough for James to get in between the two and carry Chloe away and towards the car. Sky screams and howls then turns wolf; she then proceeds to slam Von into a tree.

  She then turns to Vil and claws at her face with full force. One bite from a werewolf is lethal to vampires, and one bite from a vampire is lethal to a werewolf. They avoid each other's bites while fighting in the woods full speed.

  James yells to Chloe that the keys to the car are in the glove compartment. Chloe finds the keys and starts the car. She drives off and looks back one last time.

  She sees that the pack have all transformed to wolf form. She smiles and continues to drive knowing they will be fine. The fighting is so loud it sounds like thunder. Luke has the upper hand on Von when suddenly they hear Sky let out a loud howl.

  Luke cries and runs towards her" Sky no!".

  Vil lets out an evil laugh " You should of just gave us the feral human".

  Vil managed to stick her vampire nails deep into Sky's fur puncturing her flesh. Blood pours down, and Sky drops on the floor whimpering as she changed back to human form. Luke runs to Sky asking for her to speak to him, but she does not respond.
