  The vampire witch Amy performs a spell over the cabin and surroundings. It takes her about fifteen minutes to finish.

  “She is done, now let’s head to the house and protect it as well” said Von

  “No, Von we are actually going back to the woods again. Chloe got in contact with us” said Luke

  “That is great news! What did she say?” asked Von

  “You were right about the location. I apologize for doubting you. We must head back, she is underground. She asked that you come help” said Luke

  “Of course, I will help, and now we have my friends to help as well. How is Troy doing?” said Von

  “He is healing but let’s not waste any more time” said Sky

  The run to the location is a quick one. One behind another with vampiric speed and wolf running speed. They arrive at the location. Amy, the witch vampire instantly uncovers a floor door with her magic. It reveals the door to the underground location where the witches were holding Chloe.

  “Let’s go get our Alpha!” yelled Sky

  “Wait! Let Amy go first” said Von

  When they enter the underground cave, it is built in stone and surrounded by flickering candles. The group move swiftly but cautiously. Luke tries to get in communication with Chloe with no luck, she does not respond. He tries over and over to reach her mind, but it is of no use. They come across a room with blood, and broken glass everywhere. Von assures them that it was definitely Chloe’s blood.

  “How are you so sure Von?” asked Sky

  “After I healed her that night with my blood. We have become one, my blood runs inside of her still for some reason. I can smell and taste her. That is how I am sure this is her blood” said Von

  After walking deeper into the cave, they came across a door with a symbol on it. Luke tries to open it, but it does not budge. So, Von and James kicked the door simultaneously to get it open. The door did not open. Von turned to Amy and asks her if she could help. She said she believed the symbol on the door was what was keeping it from opening. She began to concentrate on getting the door open. She waved her hand over the symbol on the door and it opened slowly. Inside they found Chloe laying on the floor weakened. She smiled to reassure them that she was fine and aware of their presence, but she did not move. The chains were slowly killing her and keeping her still. Luke ran to her and tried to break open the chains that were on her. As soon as he touched the chains he got thrown back into a wall by some magic. He got up and yelled at Von.

  “Von do something! Tell Amy to help!” said Luke

  “Can’t you see she is already working on it?” yelled Von

  “Well what is taking her so long! Get the magic off them chains so that I can rip them open!” said Luke

  “Patience Luke, Amy is not a full witch remember, and things take a little longer for her. These witches are powerful. She will get them open just give it time. The magic surrounding the chains closed are very powerful” said Von

  Sky couldn’t help seeing Chloe in that position, so she dropped to her knees and began to hug Chloe and cry.

  “I have missed you so much Chloe! I am so glad you are alive, and we are all together again.

  I just knew something was wrong as soon as I left the bakery and you weren’t in the car waiting for me.” said Sky

  Chloe smiles and a tear falls down her face.

  “Do not worry my love, we will get out of here soon” said James

  “Everyone watch out! Look behind you!” yelled Vil

  Two witches stood blocking the door. Von tossed one to the other side of the room and jumped on her to rip off her neck. The second witch released a lightening flash from her fingers and hit Larry. Larry fell to the floor and instantly turned to ash. Von gets angry and attacks the witch for killing his friend. Vil joined Von in attacking the witch who just killed Larry. The witch was fast and had great strength. Sky held on to Chloe tight and protected her. Luke joined the vampires in attacking the witch. James stood behind Amy protecting her while she continued her spell to break Chloe free. After a few minutes they manage to defeat the witch, they split up to go find more witches. They did want to get caught off guard again, and they already lost one.

  “Amy how much longer?’ asked Luke

  “She is almost done! I am going with Von to make sure the exit is clear once we get Chloe released” said Vil

  “I am coming with you” said James

  Amy is finally able to weaken the magic enough for Sky to break open the chains and set Chloe free. Chloe started throwing up all over the floor. She collapsed, and Luke carried her on his shoulder.

  On the way out they heard Von and James fighting nearby. The other witches were blocking the exit to the cave. Mandy used her super speed and attacked one of the witches. Mandy slammed her across the wall, and clawed at the witch’s neck, and killed her instantly. Chloe started crying and throwing up again.

  “Chloe it is okay, we are getting you out of here, and we are in this together” said Luke

  The group finds a way out and heads to the house in super speed. Luke carries Chloe the entire way.

  Chapter 11

  Rescued Again

  Once they arrive to the home Chloe smiled. They entered the home and she was rapidly filled with memories and joy, and all she felt was comfort. Luke laid her on the bed, and the pack immediately began to bandage her up, clean her, and change her. James came upstairs with a very strong potion and fed it to her. Sky washed her hair inside a bucket and combed it out for her. They have never seen Chloe in such bad conditions. Von knocked at the door and announced that he and his friends would be leaving. He asked how Chloe was and they responded that she was healing perfectly. They thanked Von and his friends for their help.

  “Well she is looking amazing already! You guys really love her. Please tell her I will see her soon” said Von

  Chloe grabbed Sky’s hand and gripped it tight.

  “Wait Von! She is communicating with me right now” said Sky

  Chloe telepathically told Sky to tell Von to please stay.

  “She is asking you to stay Von…. please do”. Said Sky

  “Very well I will take my friends back halfway and run back. Amy will perform the protection spell over your house Chloe, before she goes”. Said Von

  “Why does she want him to stay?” asked Luke

  “I don’t know Luke, she fell asleep” said Sky

  “Let her rest, come on I will make something to eat for dinner” said James

  “It is okay I will cook today James.” said Mandy

  “Are you sure?” asked James

  “Yes, I am in a really good mood guys! Troy is downstairs up and sitting down. He asked me to make his favorite casserole.” said Sky

  “Well that is great news! Let’s all go down and check on him” said James

  They all run downstairs to see Troy, Mandy is giggly and happy as she sits next to Troy. Troy is smiling as well and in a good mood.

  “Hey guys! Did you miss me? Thank you all for helping me, and not leaving me behind. The weirdest thing though I don’t remember anything past the fire ball.” said Troy

  Von enters the front door.

  “That’s because most witches erase your memories once they hit you with their magic.” said Von

  “That is insane, but how are you feeling Troy?” asked Luke

  “A little weak still, but I am sure Mandy’s casserole will fix me right up” said Troy

  They all laughed and watched television together as Mandy cooked in the kitchen. The food was served, and the casserole was a hit. It was delicious and enough for everyone to eat twice. Luke served a plate for Chloe to eat and takes it to her upstairs, but she does not wake up from her sleep. He decides to let her rest and leaves the plate next to her bed. Sky reminded Von that Chloe asked that he stayed before she went to bed. Everyone walked to their rooms and Troy slowly got up to walk downstairs to the basement to sleep. The sofa has been his place of healing, but he grew tired of i
t. He couldn’t wait to sleep in his bed. Von got comfortable on the sofa and rested his feet. The next morning everyone woke up to the smell of breakfast being cooked.

  “It smells lovely in here!” said Von

  “Good because I woke up hungry! I smell it too! Mandy is that you cooking again?” asked James

  “Nope! It’s me!” Chloe yelled from the kitchen.

  Sky pushed past everyone and ran to the kitchen. She hugged Chloe.

  “Oh, Chloe your up and about! How are you feeling?” said Sky

  “Like a brand-new woman” said Chloe

  Chloe smiled and hugged everyone “Thank you all so very much for everything you have done. Von you have become a very good friend to this pack.

  We appreciate you. This is my aunts’ famous dish. Apparently, my favorite growing up. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.” said Chloe

  “So, Von I asked for you to stay to thank you personally. I also wanted to ask something else of you. So, remember the time you touched me and seen a vision?” asked Chloe

  “Yes?” said Von

  “Could you please do that again? I can’t remember anything from the day I got kidnapped. It is driving me crazy, and I want to get to the bottom of this already and figure out what they want with me.” said Chloe

  “I am afraid that is not how my powers work my love I am sorry. I can only see future visions, and only if they are meant for me to see. Also, you are not going to remember anything regardless, that is how the witches work.” said Von

  “It does not matter what they want, we have to get back there today and kill them all” said Luke

  “I agree! And I am ready. Von what did your coven say about all this?” asked troy

  “The Highaut are preparing to join us all in this battle. The witches are attacking without cause and without their permission. All the vampires and other wolves will be joining us.” said Von

  “Sounds good! What do you say Alpha?” said Luke

  “I am happy we will all be together in this.

  However, I want to prepare very well this time, and I have a few things to do for my business first. We can all meet up later and talk” said Chloe.

  “Yes, I am running late for work myself” said Troy

  “You’re going in to work in your condition?” asked Mandy

  “I am okay Mandy” said Troy

  “Chloe, I took care of everything yesterday. The only thing left to do is decorate the hall the day before the wedding, and make sure the cake is there on time. I also responded to your emails already.” said Sky

  “Thank you so much Sky, I don’t know what I would do without your help. I have an appointment with my aunt and Mrs. Stuart today” said Chloe

  “Oh, I did not see that in the schedule I am sorry” said Sky

  “I just set the meeting up. Get ready to go soon” said Chloe

  “Okay I will be back down in a few minutes” said Sky

  Chloe and Sky meet up with the two at a local coffee shop. They go over details, cake flavors, and everything that is set for the wedding. Mrs. Stuart is pleased, and thanks her dear friend for referring her niece to her.

  “I am so glad my niece was able to help you dear. She is pretty good at what she does. She has been event planning for a very long time now.” said Sarah

  Mrs. Stuart said her goodbyes and left the shop.

  Chloe’s aunt grabbed her hand and held it tight. She looked at Chloe with worried eyes. Chloe gave her a reassuring smile and stood up.

  “Tell me my dear, how are you? Your parents and I have been very worried about you. We are glad you are safe and doing better now. We are glad you are back home and are taking care of your business. We are very proud of you dear.” said Sarah

  “Thank you, aunty I am doing well. How are you? “said Chloe

  “Things are okay with us. How are you Sky? You look lovely today.” said Sarah

  Sky blushes and smiles “Thank you, I usually dress up in business attire for meetings.” said Sky

  “Well it looks good on you dear, very well I will see you all sometime.” said Sarah

  Sarah got up and waved goodbye. “I love you aunty! See you soon.” yelled Chloe

  The three say their goodbyes and make their way back home. Evening time arrived, and the pack all ate and retired to their rooms. Chloe trained outside for a while before heading to bed. She needed to prepare for what’s about to come. She suddenly heard groaning coming from the woods. She investigated the sound, and seen a woman lying on the floor bleeding out. She called on the pack to come outside. James ran out and pushed Chloe away from the body.

  “She is a witch! Stand back. “yelled James

  “What happened Chloe did she attack you?” said Sky

  “No, I did not touch her, I found her this way.” said Chloe

  “It’s the protection barrier. She was coming to attack us, and it protected us. Leave her there she will die on her own.” said James

  “Luke try and communicate with her. Ask her why she wants me dead so bad and who sent her.” said Chloe

  “Let me try.” yelled Luke

  Luke steps up and questions the witch continuously with no luck. Even while she was dying, she was loyal to her coven. They get no answers. The pack all headed back inside to sleep. The next morning Chloe woke up and walked to Luke’s room. She knocked on his door to wake him up.

  “Come in Chloe” said Luke

  Chloe giggles “you don’t even need to ask who it is huh?” said Chloe

  “Your scent is very distinguishable.” said Luke

  “Hey sorry for waking you up so early, but I wanted to talk to you Luke. We must stop what we are doing. It is not fair to the rest of the pack. Each one of you deserve a fair chance at becoming my mate and having children. Although, I don’t have intensions on doing any of that anytime soon I still have to keep myself open. I love you all like family, and don’t want to focus on anything other than our safety right now. I have lots of fun with you! I enjoyed every moment, but this must end now. We have a huge threat and that needs to be our priority without distractions.” said Chloe

  Luke sits up in shock and grabs her hand.

  “Chloe I completely understand, and whatever you say goes.” said Luke

  “Thank you, Luke, now let’s go downstairs and wait for the others to wake up. I will make breakfast then we can all train.” said Chloe

  “I will be right down. “said Luke

  Chloe made breakfast for the house. She sat and sipped on her tea at the dining room table while talking to Luke. They enjoyed a couple of minutes of privacy and laughs together.

  A few minutes later the pack started coming down one at a time. They enjoyed breakfast and prepared for training. The six have intense training for two hours outside. The battle with the witches was near and they needed to all be ready. The intense training became a regular thing. They all became stronger than before and smarter. Chloe turned out being a great alpha and example. She pushed them hard, but the hard work payed off. The days went by and the wedding day arrived. The wedding was a success and Chloe got a huge check for the job. She gave a big cut to Sky for her great help. The witches attempt attacks every single night trying to attack Chloe and the pack. The protection barrier worked like a charm every single time thankfully. Chloe decided to take a day nap while everyone was at work. All the hard work and training was catching up to her. Her room was decorated lightly with a refreshing feeling to it. She furnished it to be very fancy a year ago, but she never really had time to enjoy it. She stretched out on her king size bed and fell asleep.

  She slept, and dreamed with the things that happened to her while she was kidnapped. The torture, the abuse, the mystery. That is when she realized that she has been kidnapped twice and they both had to be connected. She couldn’t remember anything from that day with the witches, but her dreams were so real. She twists and turns in her bed as her nightmares torments her in her sleep, she let out a loud scream, and her bedroom door ope
ned right up. Chloe woke up but remained lying down on her bed looking at the door. The sun shined on her face revealing her different colored eyes. She looked as beautiful as ever and peaceful. Her breast rested perfectly as she laid on her back. Her beautiful dark hair laid messy around the pillow. She figured she was dreaming still because her vision was still blurry from her sleep.

  “Von? Is that you?” asked Chloe

  “Yes” said Von

  “What the hell are you doing here Von? In my house and in my room” said Chloe

  “My apologies my love, I was knocking at your front door and I heard you screaming. I ran up as fast as I could, I thought you were in danger. Are you feeling okay? Why were you crying?” said Von

  “Von please sit down. I had a horrible nightmare. I think I am remembering all the things that happened to me while I was kidnapped. Von I was tortured and abused, starved, and I remember mice running over me.” cried Chloe

  Chloe starts to sob on her pillow while she relives her pain. Von got closer and held her while she cried and screamed in frustration. Her anger was becoming evident when her claws started to come out. Von tried to calm her down and reminded her that it was all over and only memories now. Chloe yelled that she was going to kill whoever did these things to her and von agreed they should pay.

  “Yes, my love they have also taken away a good friend of mine and they almost killed Troy. These witches are unstoppable once they begin to attack, I have told you the stories about how they took down an entire coven of vampires. Don’t worry yourself we are all in this together.” said Von

  “I promise you I will kill them all!” yelled Chloe

  “And I will be right next to you” said Von

  “Von I have a very strong connection to you. I have been meaning to ask you if this was because you fed me your blood” said Chloe

  Von laughed and stood up from the bed.

  “Yes, that is the main reason. My attraction for you is deep as well. However, my blood should be out of your system by now. I can’t blame the blood on the connection because of that fact. I think it is actually a bond we created ourselves after all of that” said Von
