Tanner joined in on the chorus, smashing his head against hers and sharing her microphone. The energy made her head spin. The roars, the howls, the pounding of the drums… she soaked it in and let herself lose. Tilly felt so high, she could have flown right off that stage.
When the song was over, and her last note hung in the air long enough to give everyone the chills, the crowd went wild. Sebastian ran over, scooped her up, and twirled her around, “That was fucking amazing!”
She laughed, “Thanks, Baz.”
Tanner started up another song, Bishop jumped right in and Tilly shook her head, “One and done, boys.” She hooked the microphone up to its stand and dragged it closer to Tanner. The Hound sang his fucking heart out and Brock hopped on the stage and grabbed another guitar.
The evening was filled with music, laughter, and energy so powerful it had to have reached the Devil in Hell.
When the night was over and they returned home. The pack started stripping out of their clothes, high on life and lust and all the good things in-between. “I love you,” Tilly said to her pack.
“We love ye more, lass.”
She didn’t think it was possible, but maybe it was true. After all, it was four to one.
Tilly went upstairs with her pack and they spent the rest of the evening worshipping each other. Tomorrow was the start of a new era and she couldn’t wait to put her fighting and magic skills to good use. The Hounds were prepared for this fight. Lucifer and his brothers were too. Michael wasn’t going to know what hit him.
Satan made sure his army had something to fight for, die for, live for…
And so did he.
Letter from Lucifer
Dear Reader,
Trust me. That’s all I ask of you right now. I don’t get down on my knees often, but I will for you. I will crawl out of Hell and lay myself at your feet if that’s what it’s going to take for you to understand what it is I’m willing to do for you.
I might be divine, but I can’t tell the future. All I know is that it looks grim. Just know that I love you.
I would die for you.
I would kill for you.
I would do worse for you.
In the darkest of times, remember that you can’t always trust the light. Sometimes you need a monster who owns the darkness to see you to safety.
I am that monster.
And I’m about to be set loose.
Your loyal Devil,
Lucifer
