"Were you hoping for to get those skills?" I asked.
"N-not really. I'm OK, being your number one girl. I don't need to technically be in the dungeon with you, if you are sleeping in my bed and if we love each other," she added.
"That's fair. And you are so sweet," I said admiringly.
"Of course. Because I really love you. I'll help you, really," she winked. "But also, Simone might want to go in though," she said.
"What?! Really."
"She said something like that. But I don't know if she's serious. But also you have to think about the fact that she's not strong enough. She is pretty and athletic, but she doesn't have any real dungeon skills yet. You'd have to do work on that first," she added.
I nodded.
"Whether or not she wants to go in or not will you make her?" she asked me.
I was surprised by it. And I thought about it genuinely. "Technically I can make it with only skills and my gear. I won't be stuck on her going in since I can hold my own, nor with you going in. This makes me giving you both choices more genuine. Its enough if you are happy enough to be my women. I don't need to have you go in with me. But if you do, your own stats will get stronger, and when you level up there's a noticeable improvement in your body, spirit, and mind," I told her.
And also what I said was honest.
"I was afraid you'd say that. I feel left out now. I wish I could go in with both of you. And if she hears that she'd do anything to join you," Melanie told me with a bitter smile.
"What? Really? Anything?" I asked.
"The chance to level up and have a status screen, and dungeon job? She's not a magic race person, and doesn't come with those things naturally. But she could develop it and have a way better life if she uses the dungeon and chooses to level up. So yes, I think she'd do anything to join. Think about it, would you want to be the person that is a 'stay at home' villager level 1, or a level 30 knight, or other job class. And there's always the chance to develop some magic," she pointed out.
"Wow."
She then showed me how to activate the status screen system in stealth mode. Stealth mode, meaning others can't look over your shoulder and see it. I hadn't been sure about this before. But the stealth mode is very useful if you are around people you don't know very well, or people you just don't trust, period.
So I was right there is a stealth mode. But I hadn't known how to use it, and I only had hypothesized that it might exist, and didn't know for sure until she spent a few minutes flirting with me and showing me how to use it.
You just have to be over level 5, to activate it! But I wonder also, does that mean there's other things that can unlock at other level increments?

The day kept progressing.
If only it was a Friday, and I could pursue the dungeon more.
Valerie texted me around lunch also, but I don't want to be reading that in front of Melanie.
I managed to also put up several daggers enhanced to +1 before 1 PM. (But this will make me very late to class!)
By the time school is out I got worried. I have so much to do...
Wait, couldn't I have Simone and Melanie help me with my homework?
I could! Both are only a year or two ahead of me, and that could give me more dungeon time, and more time with the two wives! This is brilliant.
Several probing questions ensued.
"Melanie how good are you at math?" I asked at 3:15 PM, regarding my school homework.
"I suck at it."
Damn. My heart sank.
But not for long...
"I'm good at it!" Simone said, raising her hand and on the edge of her seat with an exited pose.
"Really?" I sounded hopeful.
"But it will cost you one day of homework for two times having sex," Simone said.
"Seriously, your family did something to her. She's so rattled and horny," Melanie whispered in my ear.
"I heard that. Don't talk about me like I'm not here. Anyway there's nothing wrong with it liking sex a lot," Simone growled.
I questioned them a bit further.
Simone had a really high GPA in school. In other words, I've found my own private tutor! She's doing well in all areas.
And she's now thoroughly converted because of the mind control effect of the seduce and charm skills.
"Your mom wants to talk to you by the way. I was supposed to tell you that," Simone told me while doing my homework for me.
So, they are talking then?
I hope my wicked mom isn't bullying her. And I'm worried about what it could be.
I still will have her show me how to do various skills and math, and even do problems on my own. The idea isn't to cheat but to reduce the time between not knowing what to do, like a tutor. I actually want a tutor to not cut time but to increase my stats more in all areas possible. And this may even mean spending lots of time with Simone having her teach me everything possible.
I'm finished with homework around 4:41 PM.
Melanie wants me to do lift weights with her in the gym at 4:45 PM. (Partly this is because she saw me get almost two hours alone with Simone; though its hard to concentrate when Simone has only panties on.)
"Let's take a break," I told Melanie at 5:15 PM after we'd been going hard with the gym equipment.
"OK. We already ran this morning anyway," she said.
She then slipped her hand into mine.
At 5:31 PM I called mom to see what she wants from my room. Around now my brothers come home typically also, so I don't like for 'my team' to be around them when they do.
At the time my brothers come home, my two beautiful girls are being much more careful and staying in my room.
"Hello?" mom answers the phone.
"Hey, Simone said you had something to talk to me about and to call you back?" I asked.
"What? That can't be right," Mom sounds shocked.
"What? Its a mistake?" I asked, glancing at Simone.
Simone shrugged next to me, unsure of what was up. She's now worried and giving me a look like, 'I didn't do anything wrong!'
"No. Not a mistake. But just...I'm a bit surprised why its happening so fast. Did you do something strange to her?" mom asked.
"Strange? Like what?"
"Did you...oh never mind. I'll inspect her myself when I get home," she said, making me flinch. "I've got to go I'm busy," she said.
"Wait, one last question."
"Make it fast," she snapped.
"Did you give Simone some kind of birth control?" I asked.
"Wow. You're already at that stage?" she was surprised again.
"Not really. I'm just wondering if it needs to be taken care of," I stammered. I was evasive on purpose. She might see through it, but its not something worth her getting mad about.
"Its done, yes. She has a birth control enchant on her, so you won't ever have to worry about that with her. We sterilized her when we bought her for you honey," mom said.
Ouch. That hurts.
Simone might feel hurt also about that. I'll have to eventually tell her she can't have kids. Hopefully she won't be angry at me.
Damn my mom really is an evil bitch.
Then the line went dead after it clicked when she hung up.
That worries me.
And I realize also I have to try to study out how to even bring it up. If I tell Simone and she gets mad at my mom, and evil mom sees it, will she kill or hurt Simone?
So I may have to put a pin in this one until later.
My disgust for my family is going up. Mom is way scarier than even Diego in some ways. And both Melanie and Simone know it also.
But then I realized there might be a way to reverse it later, if that's what we want. It might not be as easy as putting it on however, and probably not cheap.
5:35 to 6:15 PM
I stopped to work on dagger enhancing. The enhancements aren't too hard. I blew about 200 mana. But the timing was right where my mana was full about now. By tomor
row I may end up with this set of 10 daggers all at +2, which will make for some decent change at the underground adventurer markets.
6:15 PM
Marital intimacy with Melanie. Then also with Simone.
Heaven.
Then we're hugging in bed, with me in the middle.
6:47 PM
The maid came to inform me the family is having dinner and my presence is demanded. She kind of barged in the room also, which Simone and Melanie didn't like too much, but managed to cover up themselves with the bed sheets.
First, I get informed another family is coming to visit. This is dad hoping to arrange a marriage for me with this other branch family. (But will it really happen? They'd delayed and canceled a few times already.)
What the heck are they thinking also? Isn't this a bit fast, to get me more women?
I find out dad wants to me to seriously consider letting them set up an enchant lab for me, in 'The Company'. Translation; he wants me to go work for him.
Then I realized of course they are hoping that I will bring more people into their side's faction, within the demon lord clan, from their rivals side. So their interest is not in building me up at all. They probably even mean to try to control me soon as much as they can.
Damn it.
I can't get away because its dinner. And with an old family values system we're supposed to be excused by permission, not to mention my parents are so powerful.
But after dessert was finished I found mom staring at me.
Uh oh.
"Jay, come with me to my office," mom said.
My brothers are looking at me like, 'what the F did you do?'
Dad was also startled.
I followed mom's clicking heels over to her office. (Both dad and mom have private offices at home; necessary for both business and magitek issues.)
I went in and sat down. Her office feels really dark actually.
She's staring at me giving me her evil eye stare. This is obviously some kind of intimidation, using pauses and worded silence to make me cough up secrets. Mom's evil stare makes me forget that people would normally think she's a good looking woman.
I just looked back at her.
"How was work?" I asked.

After a full minute she finally spoke.
"Did you do something to Simone to conquer her faster?" she asked.
"Why would you think that?" I replied.
"Just answer the question."
"I didn't do anything to her. You guys did. You scared her to death several times. I was the only one not acting crazy in her mind, and therefore the only safe choice to go to. She was pushed to me faster by that. And I can't read minds, how would I know what she's thinking? She's probably trying to just survive," I said trying to buy time.
I can't tell them about my mind control.
Technically I didn't lie. My parents stats are so high that I don't dare lie to them. And I'm still worried, she'll figure out something's up.
"A likely story," she scoffed.
"Look I'm trying to meet you part way. I'm not rebelling. But honestly, how many men do you know that really understand women mom? That's like asking pigs to fly," I said.
She was angry at first, but softened a little. I think I even made her almost smile. "Those are pretty good points. But she's accepted you too fast."
"Really? If there is a guide to this or some secrets to women please teach me mom," I managed to say.
"Whatever."
"Is that good enough? Can I go?" I asked.
"Not so fast. Well she is a gift to you. I was wondering if there was some kind of secret skill technique you'd used on her," she asked. "Be honest."
So she just revealed she's not worried about Simone at all, but wondering if there's some skill she can use for her own benefit, or for the company's.
"I'm sorry. I didn't do anything to her. She was just sort of pushed towards me because of me being nicer than you guys," I said.
Fuck...mom slapped me hard. She hits like a truck; must be the level ups and stats. My body was reeling. I sat down.
(-17 damage, barehanded also.)
That hurt badly. I'm also reeling on the ground.
But to her this isn't an attack, its just 'business'; a dangerous woman.
"Don't be a smart ass. I'm running a company that's like an entire country. Talk," she spat.
Uh oh.
How much does she suspect?
Or is she just guessing?
Someone like her might hit people to just try to scoop up anything they can find with answers.
I painfully tried rub my jaw. Its not broken, but hurts like shit. It had almost dislocated from her powerful strike. It hurt to even talk.
"Do I have to do that again?" she raised her voice.
I held up a hand. "P-please. Don't hit," I coughed out, pleading for mercy.
"What do you know? Don't be smart with me," she said again. She raised her arm.
Oh shit.
"I wasn't trying to be. But there wasn't a way to word that better," I tried to defend myself.
"Fine. Just remember we can take away your toys if you defy us," she hissed.
Shit.
No wonder they want me to have more toys.
The threat of taking them away would make people crazy to do anything you want.
I won't let them take away Simone.
"Is that all?"
"No. When Simone told you I needed to talk to you, that was an enchant placed in her mind by the person we got her from. It was a signal that the magic switch in her mind had activated, and telling me so that I'd known she was now converted to your side. And could therefore be used as a minion by you," she said.
Wow, she had something like that? And what if there are other enchant switches?
Some of them might not be for positive results.
"So what did the switch do?" I asked worriedly.
"The switch would trigger when in her mind she had accepted being with you fully. Its also based on her being resigned to stay with you. But it should have taken years to trigger not just days. Damn it. And if your brothers find out they'll be extremely jealous," mom said.
Now I get it. This was why mom was so suspicious of me right now.
She smelled a rat.
Inwardly I was sweating a lot. If I wasn't really careful here I'd be doomed. There's no way they'd let me off the hook if they found out I also had mind control skills.
Shit...
Wait, I can get out of this if I just play dumb.
"Please don't tell them. Its hard enough if they know," I said referring to my brothers.
"I'll think about it. But remember who the boss is. I can also give you more toys if you are good," she slipped in.
"So does this mean I can trust her? What does it mean exactly?" I asked mom.
"That's a reasonable question. It basically means limited trust, not full out. You could now let her wander around the full house and it would be fine. But I wouldn't take her out to places that might trigger her remembering her old life or old family. And not anything that would tempt her too much. And I'd only take her with a chaperon outside the mansion for a while. Take baby steps," mom said.
"So what do you think I should do?" I asked her.
Yeah, this should be the best response for someone like her with an ego.
"Good. That's the right answer. Just remember who the boss of the family is. Not your father, me. I'll need to count on you if things get rough for our group within the clan. I need you to back us whether or not you work for the company. For now just don't hide anything from me. Did you use a secret skill on Simone?" she asked again.
Damn.
OK, play dumb but not so dumb she won't believe it. She also knows I'm smart, so going to low will be readable as fake.
"What kinds of secret skills? You didn't mention there were secret skills before? Where do I find out about those? How do I get them? Teach me something," I asked.
