R Is for Richer Page 6

I wanted to touch him all over, I wanted to explore his body, but he was in charge for the moment and I waited for his next move.

He unzipped his pants and let them fall to the floor. His cock greeted me, hard and ready. I sat upright on the bed to get a better view, my hands wrapping around his length, pumping him gently with my fingers.

He drew in a sharp breath. His eyes rolling back in his head as the air whistled between his teeth.

I felt his cock throb against the palm of my hand. I put the tip in my mouth, grazing the head with my teeth as his hips rocked back and forth slowly. I took him deeper inside my mouth, making myself gag as I felt him against the back of my throat. He was as big and glorious as I remembered.

He took a step back, pumping his cock in his hand. “You have me so close,” he said. “But I’m not ready to explode inside of you yet.”

Theo kneeled before me, his lips kissing the inside of my thighs tenderly. He reached beneath my dress, his thumbs tugging at the lace thong I’d chosen especially for this occasion. I’d been prepared for today—for the outcome I was craving.

He rolled the white thong from my body and flicked it across the room.

“How is it that you’re more beautiful than I remember?”

I smiled genuinely, rising onto my elbows. “I could ask you the same question.”

He shook his head. “No, no, no.” His fingers tugged at the hem of my dress, pulling it up and slowly over my head in one swift movement. “I look the same, but you...” He cupped my chin in the palm of his hand. “You are not just beautiful anymore. You are stunning.”

I reached around my back and unhooked my bra. I wanted him to see all of me. I wanted him to drink me in as if he couldn’t get enough.

His gaze stopped at my breasts, with a lick of the lips I knew I had him excited.

He cupped my ass in his hands and picked me up, flipping us on the bed. He was on top of me, his cock falling directly between my legs. He smirked and I knew he’d felt my wet pussy soaking into his skin.

He shook his head, his index finger running a line from my neck, between my breasts, past my belly button, and between my folds. His finger dipped inside and he exhaled noisily, his warm breath hitting my body.

“I’ve thought about this,” he said. “Thought about having you in my bed.”

I nodded my head as if confirming that I’d dreamed of the same thing. Some days, this was all I thought about. When my mind wandered, it always came here.

His finger slipped inside of me as his thumb applied pressure to my bud. My hands fisted the comforter as my back arched against the bed.

“Mmmm,” he murmured. “I love how ready you are.”

He pulled back, his cock teasing me as it dipped between my folds, slowly, gently.

My hips inclined off the bed because I couldn’t get enough. He chuckled lightly, but it was short-lived. Soon he was hovering over me, his grey eyes now black as his expression turned serious.

“Once I’m inside of you there’s no turning back.”

I shook my head. “I know.”

I was ready for this—ready for him—and he couldn’t be inside of me soon enough.

  Chapter 12

I awoke the next morning, an exhausted smile spread across my lips. Pulling the sheet up to my nose, I inhaled deeply. It smelled like him and it was confirmation that he was not a figment of my imagination.

I rolled over to find his side of the bed bare, the sheets wrinkled and his pillow caved from where his head had been.

I sighed gently into the empty room. It was reminiscent of the first night we slept together. When I awoke the next morning, he was gone. I squeezed my eyes closed as I relived that moment. Even now, my heart ached for that eighteen-year-old girl.

Now the tables had turned. I was in his bed and there was no way he could escape me. I wouldn’t allow it.

My hand traveled over the bare comforter next to me, my fingers brushing against a small white piece of paper.

It crinkled as I brought it in my line of vision.

Gone to get breakfast. Sleep a little longer x

My thumb traced over the blue ink. I recognized the writing, even after all these years. The chaotic cursive that didn’t follow the line the whole way across the page. It made my heart race all over again.

I rolled out of bed, my feet hitting the cold wooden floorboards with a thump. I slipped on my white lacy thong and found Theo’s white shirt from the night before, shrugging it on and fastening a few buttons. Now his scent followed me as I walked. It made me smile.

The old, rickety floorboards creaked beneath my weight. I was half expecting Theo to be waiting at the dining table, a fresh espresso brewed, but the room was empty and dark.

There was a brown paper bag sitting on top of the table, a croissant peeking from the top, tempting me with its flaky, golden crust.

I walked over to the small window that sat above the kitchen sink. Pulling back the mauve colored curtain, I looked out to the yard that was overrun by bushes and fruit trees. There he was. Standing at the edge of the garden, a dark brown mug in one hand, a hose in the other, as he watered the trees, occasionally stopping to sip his coffee.

I took a moment to watch him, my eyes traveled over his body. He wore the same jeans as the night before, but his torso was bare. I would never tire of looking at him. His strong, yet lean arms bulging as he moved.

I smiled to myself. The years had made him more attractive. I wondered if he truly thought the same about me or if he was just being polite when he said so.

Making my way outside, the flimsy screen door squealed, announcing me before I was ready.

“Who is this?” He smiled genuinely, his eyes wrinkling at the sides. “My American beauty walking from my house, wearing my clothes...”

He dropped the hose and walked over to me, his arms wrapping me up in a warm hug. He smelled different in the morning. Like fresh-washed linen and cigarettes.

“You look good in my shirt.” He winked, giving me the once over.

I felt my cheeks warm. “Thank you.”

“Let me get you a coffee, my love.”

I smiled as he slowly released me from his embrace. My gaze traveled to the view of rolling green hills that seemed to go on forever. An occasional house popped into my line of vision, the terracotta roof breaking up the green foliage, but that didn’t take away from the secluded feeling of our location. As far as I was concerned, we were the only two people in existence.

I breathed in through my nose and closed my eyes. The smell was heavenly—that familiar aroma of a French fall morning.

“For you.” He held the coffee in front of me, an amused expression upon his lips.

I opened my eyes and took the cup from his hands. “Merci. I was just admiring the view.”

I sat on the grass, cradling the cup in my hands. Steam pooled over the edge of the mug as the fresh air swept the warmth away.

Theo sat next to me on the grass, his legs spread in front of his body, gently nudging my foot with his own. It was this playful side of him that I enjoyed. He was so carefree—so unassuming of everything and everyone around him. He didn’t expect anything from me, which was both a blessing and a curse.

He laid back on the grass and looked up.

“Look.” He nodded toward the sky above, his head resting in the palms of his hands. “Not a cloud in the sky.”

I joined him, my back meeting the luscious green grass and my gaze eventually meeting the sky. For some reason, the sky had never looked as blue. I rested my head against the crook of his arm. He breathed in the smell of my hair before pressing a kiss to the crown of my head.

“Is this what life is like with you?” My voice was soft and husky without me even trying.

He shrugged his shoulders like it was a no-brainer. “Of course.”

He pressed another kiss to my temple and I leaned into his lips, my eyes drifting closed as I tried to make the moment last forever.

  Pullin
g his head back he pressed onto his elbows. “Look out there,” he said, pointing to the hills that rolled on below us.

I looked at the glorious green landscape, feeling as though we were on top of the world.

“We are the only people who are seeing this view at this moment in time,” he said. “Isn’t that amazing? How lucky are we.”

“It’s amazing,” I said, my voice revealing the smile that I was trying to suppress.

“I don’t have much in this world, but this…” He cast one arm out to the sky above, “this is what I can offer you.”

I kissed the curve of his bicep, my eyes peering up at his face. He was beautiful. The dark hair lining his chin only made him even more appealing.

He wrapped his arms around me and I breathed a heavy sigh. In a few hours, I would be boarding a plane back to America and this would be nothing but a distant memory that I would probably cling onto for another ten years.

“I wish we could stay like this forever,” I echoed the sentiments of my heart.

He breathed through his nose. “Me too.”

I rolled onto my side, my body facing his. “How crazy it is that in a sea full of people, I found you.”

He shook his head. “It’s not crazy.” He reached between us, his long fingers drawing lines against the side of my face. “And besides, how do you know that I didn’t find you?”

  I smiled. “I guess I don’t.”

With a lick of my lips, I leaned forward and pressed a gentle kiss to the corner of his mouth. His hand traveled to the back of my head, holding me close as he deepened the kiss. He stole the air from my lungs and then breathed new life into them again.

Breaking away from my lips, his fingers fiddling with the buttons of the shirt I was wearing—his shirt. When the buttons were loose, he reached inside and cupped my breast. I licked my lips as his thumb trailed over my nipple. In the space of two seconds, he had me panting.

“Have you ever made love beneath the morning sky, mon cheri?”

I bit the corner of my lip because the prospect had me all giddy inside.

He pressed himself into me, allowing me to feel just how turned on he was.

  I shook my head. “No, I haven’t.”

He cupped his hand to the side of my face and brought his lips to mine. He tasted rich, like wine and berries on a warm summers day. He held his lips against mine as his tongue slipped into my mouth.

The desperation in his kisses wasn’t wasted on me. Last night he was insatiable, this morning he was passionate.

He pushed me onto my back, securing my hands above my head. His tongue left my mouth, gliding along my skin and to my collarbone.

His breathing was heavy, his fingers desperately pulling his shirt from my body, revealing my heaving breasts and white lacy underwear.

“Why do you wear these silly little garments?” He flicked the waistband of my thong.

“It’s sexy.” I bit the corner of my lip, hoping it would make my case all the more convincing.

He dipped his head, taking the flimsy strap of my panties between his teeth, tugging at them until they were clear of my body. The lace brushed against the tip of my toes before falling to the grass.

He leaned back, his eyes raking over every line, every curve, every freckle on my body.

“This, right here.” His fingers traced lines over my skin. “You lying before me, your breasts heaving, your cheeks rosy, sprigs of grass in your hair, this is the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen.”

Just when I thought he couldn’t amaze me anymore, he took my breath away all over again.

I lifted onto my elbows and brought my foot between his legs. The tip of my toes brushed against his cock, feeling it pulse against the strained denim of his jeans.

“Are you going to show me what it’s like to make love in the brisk morning air or do I have to beg you for it?”

He cocked his head, reaching for the zip of his jeans before pulling them from his body. He was ready, his cock hard and ready.

“My American beauty.” The air hissed between his teeth. “I’ll never make you beg.”

He breathed in through his nose as his lips met the peaks of my breasts. His hands kneaded as his tongue flicked against my taut nipples. I writhed my hips beneath him as my fingers tangled in his already disheveled hair.

“Patience,” he lulled as he sucked my breast into his mouth and let it go.

“Theo,” I half moaned, half whispered. He had me so delightfully ready.

He was slow and sensual and as the sun beamed down upon us all I wanted was for him to make love to me.

He lifted his body over mine, his eyes flamed silver and his pupils were dilated as he looked at me.

“Perfect,” he said before dipping his head and meeting my lips.

His kisses were rough and salty and desperate all in one. I loved that about him—how obsessive he was in moments of passion. He devoted all of his attention to me, not once focusing on his own pleasure.

His hand traveled down my body, squeezing my thigh before dipping between my legs. My back arched against the grass as his fingers delved between my folds. I spread my legs wide, giving him access to all of me. He ran one hand along the curve of my ass as his fingers explored my pussy. Running my fingers through my hair, my eyes rolled back in my head as my breath came in short, desperate bursts.

His retreated, leaving me wanting more, but I knew I was about to be filled by something even more satisfying.

He lifted my hips before pushing inside of me slowly. A sharp sigh left my lips as he filled me completely, his body shuddering as he withdrew and pushed inside of me all over again.

“You feel so good.” His breath hit my hair as he pressed a gentle kiss to my temple.

Each thrust seemed to delve deeper inside, my cries louder, my nails digging into his back.

As his release came close, my pussy clenched around him, the pressure building to the point where it was almost painful.

The orgasm ripped through my body with such intensity that my whole body shook.

My head rolled to the side as Theo pecked my damp skin endlessly with feather-light kisses.

I’d never had sex in broad daylight before, but with Theo, it didn’t feel forbidden or scandalous. With the grass in my hair and the breeze caressing my skin, I realized this was how it was always meant to be.

  Chapter 13

When I woke up, I felt the sting of the sun piercing into my silky white skin. The sun had traveled to the center of the sky, glaring down upon us we slept in our post-coital daze.

He rolled over to look at me, a gorgeous smile on his perfect lips.

  “We fell asleep.” He yawned.

“We did.” My words came out cautiously. “What time is it?” I looked to his wrist but found it bare. I guess he had no need for a watch. He worked to his own schedule.

I sat up, Theo’s shirt falling to my lap. He must have covered me with it before we fell asleep. I was thankful for that, although I felt the burn of the sun on my shoulders and legs.

Theo looked up at the sky, shielding his eyes as he did so. “It must be midday.”

“Shit.” I leaped off the grass and to my feet. “My flight leaves in an hour.”

I rushed towards the house, slipping his shirt on as I walked. Theo said something from behind me, but I was too frantic to listen.

My cellphone still sat on the kitchen table from the night before. I picked it up and looked at the display.

  12.32pm

I dropped my phone to the table and looked at the lit display helplessly. When Theo came inside, he eyed me cautiously. His temperament had changed and so had mine.

“My flight leaves from Paris in forty minutes.”

He pressed his lips together, not quite knowing what to say.

“I’m screwed.” I sat at the table holding my head in my hands.

He walked a few steps closer but stopped short of touching me. Instead, he leaned against the countertop, his arms
crossed over his chest.

  “You are upset?”

I didn’t know how to answer. I was upset that my trip hadn’t gone as planned. I was upset that my flight was leaving and questions would be asked when I didn’t arrive at the other end.

“I don’t like it when things don’t go as planned,” I said. “I needed to be on that plane.”

He shrugged his shoulders simply. “You regret coming here.”

I shook my head, my gaze torpedoing into him before I can stop myself. I stood up, reaching him in two steps, my hands grasping at his, but he pulled away.

“I don’t regret anything that’s happened between us,” I told him, pausing only to catch my breath. “Don’t even think that for a second.”

I heard the vibration of my cell phone from behind me.

He locked his gaze with mine, his piercing grey eyes narrowing on my face. “It’s your husband,” he said, slipping on a pair of jeans, leaving the buttons undone. “You should speak to him.”

I looked from him to my phone and then back to him.

He shook his head. “Answer it, please.”

He gestured towards my cellphone that wouldn’t shut up. He pushed off the counter and turned around.

“Theo…” I said, but he was already walking out of the room. “Theo,” I whispered again hopelessly.

I took my phone from the table. I didn’t need to look at the display to know that it was him calling. The six missed calls that were on the screen a fair indication that my husband had been trying to get in touch.

Looking down at what I was wearing, I tried to regain some composure. I walked through to Theo’s bedroom and threw my phone to the bed. My dress was on the floor, sighing deeply, I slipped it on and picked up my phone once more.

For the first time, I noticed that I was shaking. I felt as though I’d been caught cheating and now I’d have to come up with some pathetic excuse as to why I wasn’t on my flight home.

Tucking my hair behind my ears, I came to sit on the edge of the bed. I drew in a deep breath and pressed the call button. He answered after the first ring, his breathing heavy into the mouthpiece.
