Flawed (Imperfectly Perfect Book 1) Page 16

by Lym Cruz

Then she turned her back to me and looked over her shoulder with a naughty smile of hers and shook her ass round and round, descending to the floor and back up. I’d never seen anything like that, how does she do that? She paced closer, closer, closer until she was within my reach. I put my hands on her hips, to my displeasure she swatted them away.

  “No touching. Watch.”

I settled my hands flat on my thighs as she continued dancing. She lowered to my lap grinding, rubbing against my already hard erection. The warmth and softness of her skin on me were mind-blowing. If she kept that up, I wouldn’t last any longer.

“Mel, let me touch you,” I breathed.

Without waiting for an answer, I held her down on my lap, kissed her back, and unfastened her bra. I guided it off her arms and took hold of both her tits.

Melissa threw her head back and arched as she moaned breathlessly and continued moving her hips. When I tugged and squeezed her nipples, she screamed. I did it again. She whimpered jabbering words that I couldn’t make out.

My hands slid lower, and she parted her legs, exposing her most intimate parts to me without stopping her circular motion on my lap. I nibbled on her back, moved up to her neck, then around her earlobe. I whispered to her how beautiful and perfect she was. Melissa took the hand that was around her waist and moved it between her legs. She immediately stopped dancing and tilted her head back leaning on my shoulder.

“Andrew,” She gasped and trapped her breath.

“Breathe, Mel.” She let out a shaky cry, spreading her legs wider.

  She was wet. Deliciously slippery.

Her breathing was out of control. Her wild cries of pleasure were an aphrodisiac. She grabbed hold of the arms of the chair, tensing. Her body trembled and I knew she was at the edge of the cliff about to tip over. She wailed. I wanted to feel her stiffen around my dick. Her tight, warm pussy was incomparable, nothing came close to being inside Melissa.

“Andrew,” she pleaded, “I need you.”

“I need you too.” I moved the thin piece of material to the side, lifted her a bit and let her sink onto my cock. I wrapped my arms around her stomach as I shoved deeper inside her. The ever-present feeling when I was inside her swelled my chest. It was a sense of tranquility and complete acceptance, at the same time, it was fire, passion, and adrenaline.

Then we began to dance, our own private dance, the only one I could keep up with. Her thrusts matched mine, and I was complete. Melissa completed me. I held on to her tighter, I never wanted to let her go.

Melissa increased her pace, and I held on to her waist to slow her down, wanting to take my time, savoring every thrust, every breath, and every second.

Together we swayed until I physically couldn’t take it anymore. I couldn’t last any longer. I massaged between her folds faster with my fingers, to help her catch up with me. The connection between us was tremendously intense. I felt it in my bones, and in the pulling of every one of my muscles, assaulting every inch of my bare flesh. She panted shallow breaths. She was almost there again, and I needed to be with her. I picked up my pace.

I pumped on, swiftly entering and retreating from her alluringly warm and tight core. Each drive clambered the urgency. Sweat formed on my face and chest. “You feel so good. God, I love you, Mel.” With a few more thrusts we both fell apart.

My body went into complete relaxation; I couldn’t feel my legs or anything else. It was only Melissa and I surrounded by the smell of sex, sweat and the sound of our erratic breathing.

“That was incredible, Mel. Thank you.” I ached thinking about being away from her even for a day. “Don’t ever dance for anyone like this again.” The words were out of me before I could stop them and I hoped it didn’t offend her.

“I won’t,” she said in a small sad voice.

Neither of us moved, and I kept my arms around her. Then she rose abruptly. My cum leaked down her inner thigh. Even that looked good on her. Her eyes were worried and alarmed, making me tense. “Condom, Andrew.”

I chuckled. “It wouldn’t be the same with one. It wouldn’t be earthquake and fireworks. Don’t worry about it.” She eased her shoulders, and I invited her to return to her seat on my lap.

“Aren’t you afraid of getting me pregnant?”

Nuzzling on her chest, I shook my head. “No.”

“Are you trying to get me pregnant?”

“No.” I laughed. “Not now anyway.”

I lifted her and carried her to bed. I intended on spending the rest of the night fully awake, cherishing every moment before the crack of dawn when she’d be taken away from me.

Melissa was thoughtful, staring out the window, the light wind blew on her face. She was fearful of what awaited once she landed in Brazil. Honestly, I knew she would be okay. Melissa was strong, a fighter and nothing could change that.

I pulled on a lock of her curls, to catch her attention. I would miss her grin and the sound of her laughter. “What’s on your mind?”

  “Nothing much.”

“You will be okay, Mel. Don’t over think this.”

To pass the time and make the drive to the airport easier, Melissa switched on the radio and Adele’s voice filled my ears. Turning Tables. The song was interrupted when my phone rang. I hit a button on the steering wheel, and Adele’s melodic voice was replaced by my father’s hostile one.

“Where are you, Andrew?” he said sharply. “I need to speak to you now. It’s urgent.”

“I can’t right now,” I answered. I’d been avoiding him and hadn’t spoken or seen either of my parents since the day of the party. “I’m busy.”

He growled. “What the fuck are you doing that is so important? You haven’t been in the office today, and you’re not with a client.”

“I’m on my way to the airport.”

“What on earth are you going to do there?”

  “I’m driving Melissa.”

“Oh!” His tone changed instantly. “Why didn’t you say so in the first place?” I didn’t know how to respond to that, therefore, I remained silent. “Wait! What?” His voice came loud and distressed through the speakers. “Where’s she going?”

Frowning, I gazed at Melissa. “She’s going home to her family.”

“What did you do to her? Why is she leaving?” He sounded angry, bewildering me further.

“Had I done something to her then chances are I wouldn’t be driving her to the airport. She’s visiting her family for a few days.”

He sighed. “Good. But I do need to speak to you. Come by the house when you can, but take care of your girlfriend first. Take as much time as you need.”

  My frown deepened. “Um, sure.”

  “Send my love to Melissa.”

  “She’s listening. You’re on speaker.”

“Melissa my dear,” he said overjoyed. “How are you, honey?”

Dear? Honey? What was wrong with the man? The way he spoke had me more worried than confused.

Melissa bit her lower lip and then let go, leaving a cute impression. “Hello, um, Mr. Malcolm. I’m well and you… sir?”

“Mr. Malcolm? Sir? No need for that formality. We are practically family after all. Call me Ronald or better yet call me Ronnie.”

Ronnie? Almost family? I was now worried.

“Okay, Ronnie,” Melissa teased and laughed silently.

“Have a pleasant flight. You must come to the house for dinner once you return. We need to get to know each other better.”

Melissa pushed her brows together and a wrinkled formed at the center of her forehead. “Um,” she paused and looked at me slightly unsure of what to say next. “Sure.”

“Good then. I’ll leave you two and again have a safe flight.”

I hung up by pressing the button on the steering wheel, and the music restored.

“What was that all about?” Melissa asked.

  “I have no idea.”

I parked in an empty slot in the busy airport’s parking l
ot. People were arriving and departing, all rushing to be somewhere. Contrary to them, I was in no hurry to let Melissa go. We both climbed out of the car and I rounded to the trunk and removed her luggage. I slipped my keys in my pocket and held Melissa with my free hand as we strolled through the departure terminal.

The airport was chaotic and lively. However, I zoned everything out. The peals of laughter, chatting, and constant announcements, focusing solemnly on the most beautiful person alive.

“Always have your iPad and phone charged. Keep them close to you, okay? I will make sure to talk to you every day.”

  She nodded.

With the time difference, it would be challenging, but if I didn’t talk to her on a daily basis, I would go crazy. Melissa smiled, but her eyes were swelled with tears. It broke my heart to see her this way. From my jacket, I fished an organza gift pouch that had a white and silver bracelet in it.

“Give me your hand.” She did. I wrapped the white leather straps that had diamonds studs around her wrist and fastened the ends with the silver word mine interlaced along the straps. “You’re mine, Mel.” She blinked, and a tear trickled down the side of her face. I cleared the droplet but soon was unable to stop them. “Come back to me quickly.”

Melissa nodded and cuddled on my chest. I folded my arms around her while she wept. I never thought I would be one of those guys who made a scene at the airport, but here I was. Her flight was announced, and Melissa’s grasp tightened. I rested my chin on her head, taking in her perfume I’d miss. It was only for four days, but four days was still too long.

  Her flight was called again.

Reluctantly, I detached her hands from around me, hoisted her chin, and kissed her for the longest time, lingering on as long as I could.

“… this is the final call for United Airlines, flight 294 to Los Angeles. Departing passengers should proceed to gate number A21. Thank you.”

“You better go now,” I said, unable to separate my lips from hers. “Four days will fly by, and you’ll be back before you know it. I promise to call you every day.”

“I’m sorry, I don’t know why I’m crying. You’re right, four days is nothing.” She stepped back with a sharp intake of breath. “Te amo.”

I wheeled her luggage to her. “Love you too.”

She took it and with her head down walked away. I watched her go until she was out of sight. She was gone, but I remained put for the longest time until I was sure she wasn’t going to come back.

All I thought about on the way to my parents’ house was Melissa. I missed her already. What had that girl done to me?

Thirty minutes later, I pulled into the driveway of the Malcolm mansion. Nina, the housekeeper, who also happened to have been my babysitter once, waited for me at the doorstep, with arms wide open and boundless enthusiasm. Her dark eyes beamed as I reached the door and swept her off her feet.

“Put me down, Andy,” she howled, kicking her feet. “Put me down.” I kissed her cheek and set her down. She straightened her uniform then placed her hands on her hips glowering. “Just because you outgrew me does not mean you’re allowed to…to…” I laughed on a head shake and draped an arm around her.

We strode past the grand entry of the house that had a unique use of curved walls and a magnificent chandelier hanging at the center of the circular stairway. The Malcolm estate was a spectacular home that had undergone more renovations than I could remember. Mother had to keep up with the latest trends to show off to the rest of her self-absorbed friends. We crossed the wood framed windows and doors towards the patio. Nina tried to shrug from my hold as my parents came into view but I maintained a firm hand on her. My mother disapproved of fraternizing with the staff.

“I don’t live here anymore remember?” I said.

“But your mother… you know how she is.”

I let her go, understanding what she meant. Nina ran to the kitchen and I continued past the dining room to the patio. It was my favorite place in the house. The one that hadn’t consistently been changed. I guess it offered an unconscious sense of stability and the view was breathtaking. It overlooked the Pacific with a refreshing gust arising from the sea. The built-in waterfall ran, and the low hum of the gushing water brought forth childhood memories.

Chloe and I spent many nights here, lying under the stars planning out our futures. She wanted to travel the world, and I wanted to build a spaceship. My life wasn’t exactly where I wanted it to be at this stage, but it was getting there.

Ronnie Malcolm sat on a bamboo chair talking to my mother while she prepared a drink for him. I sat next to him. He smiled at my arrival and patted my back twice.

“Why didn’t you tell me you were sitting on a gold mine?” My father asked. I scowled, bemused. “Don’t play coy, it doesn’t suit you. The Alford girl.”

My face twisted in disgust. It all made sense. Ronald was not purposefully friendly. Everything he did was for a reason, and how did I not imagine that he would have Melissa checked out. He must have recognized her father’s name, and that’s why he spoke to her decently at the party. By now, my father knew all there was to know about Melissa and that scared me.

“She’s not a gold mine,” I said dryly. “She’s my girlfriend.”

My father’s eyes danced with ecstasy. “Even better.” He adjusted the chair to face me. “You hold on to that girl. Marry her, get her pregnant, do whatever you have to. I need to be associated with the Alfords.”

I gaped at my father dumbly, not knowing how to respond to that. Money was what my father cared about and nothing more. I couldn’t have asked for better parents.

My mother wandered from the bar towards us and practically threw the glass on the table, spilling a bit of the amber liquor. She then slummed in a chair with a dramatic sigh, making sure we caught her irritation. I stared at the scotch undulating until it came to a halt.

“I don’t agree with you,” my mother said. “I don’t like that girl, and she is not the wife for my Andrew—she’s wrong. Ashlyn, now that’s the girl for him.”

“Do you know how much Melissa is due to inherit? Approximately five billion.” The shock on my mother’s face mirrored mine. I had no idea. “Imagine what we can do with that much. We’ll expand the firm, open new offices. The possibilities are endless.”

“What about our grandchildren? They’ll be...” she looked at me while choosing her words carefully. “Different.”

My father chuckled. “That’s a small price to pay for the bigger picture. Besides she’s bi-racial, their kids will probably be nearly white.”

I found it hard to believe that I was raised by this couple. They were discussing my life as if I wasn’t there. As if I was a mere spectator and my opinion didn’t matter. I wasn’t surprised or hurt by it anymore, years back, yes, now it was a routine that I loathed but grew accustomed to.

  “I still prefer Ashlyn.”

“Open your eyes, Jenny. Ashlyn can offer nothing. Her father is a simple commercial lawyer who works for me. The Alford girl is a treasure.” My father moved forward on his chair narrowing his eyes at my mother. “I’m warning you, Jenny, if you do or say anything to that girl, I will cut your credit cards. All of them.”

I rose and left as they continued to discuss my future. Nothing new really, it was what they did.

I woke up the next morning to the sound of my phone. It was Melissa. I sat up on the bed to answer her Facetime call. The image cleared as she came into focus.

“Sorry I woke you up.” Melissa smiled apologetically. “It’s almost midday here. I missed you and I couldn’t wait any longer to talk to you.”

I yawned and cracked my neck. “It’s always good to be woken by you. I miss you.” I cleared my voice.

“Sorry I fell asleep on you last night. I was so tired.” Melissa arrived in Brazil yesterday, and we spoke on the phone for hours until she fell asleep on the other side of the line.

  “Stop apolog
izing.”

“I want you to meet someone,” she said, eyes wide and bright. “I’ve been talking about you nonstop, so my mom wants to meet you.”

I was fully awake. Both my brows furrowed, and I swallowed. “Mel, is this how you want me to meet your mother? Why don’t we do it after I take a shower or at least wash my face?”

Melissa didn’t answer, and a second later her mother’s face appeared on my screen. I stiffened. What was Melissa thinking? Her mother smiled and Melissa scooted over to share the screen with her. Both women were immensely beautiful.

  “Andrew this is my mother.”

I waved awkwardly with an equally awkward smile. “Mrs. Alford. It’s a pleasure meeting you.”

“Call me Yasmin. It’s nice to meet you also,” she answered. “Melissa talks very much about you.”

  “She’s a special girl.”

  She nodded. “She is.”

Then there was nothing more to say. Yasmin put me out of my misery. “It was nice talking to you, Andrew. Bye, bye.”

  “Likewise.”

Melissa rumbled something in Portuguese. Then her mother disappeared.

“So…” Melissa crooned. “I was out today, and no one recognized me.”

“I told you so. The odds of someone recognizing you are slim to none. There is always a new thing happening for people to talk about.”

“I know.” Melissa winced. “I think it was just paranoia. It’s not like I’m a celebrity or anything. The party is tonight though, and there will be family. Those I know for sure will remember and will talk.”

I stifled another yawn. “Well fuck ‘em all.” I stifled another yawn.

“Yeah fuck ‘em.” Her lips curved into a small smile that didn’t touch her eyes. “It will be strange to look at them and know they’re judging me or talking about me.”

“Ignore them. What matters is the truth that you know and not the story they were told or heard. It’ll be fine.” Her smile was weak and barely touched her yes. “Come back already, I miss you.”

  “I will.”
