“Yes!” Desdemona said, her insides throbbing with excitement at the suggestion. “Chain up this naughty demon!”
“Fuck,” Frost growled as his cock seized, pulsating as he released inside of the beautiful pale woman.
“More,” Desdemona begged while rolling her hips, her face turning red as she stared at him, her crimson eyes glowing with excitement. “Say more things you want to do to me.”
“I’m going to get you a collar and chain you up like the filthy demon whore you are,” Frost growled.
“Goddess yes,” Desdemona said as her body trembled. “Collar your dirty little demon! Drag me around like an animal…”
“On all fours,” Frost added. “Because my little demon slut isn’t allowed to walk on only two feet, is she?”
“No,” Desdemona whined as she tried to clamp her legs together, her entire body shivering as his cock stretched her cunt. “Dirty little demon whores like me need to crawl…goddess…”
“I can’t wait to chain you up,” Frost said. “And take away your clothes because little demon fucktoys don’t need clothing…”
“Goddess! I’m coming!” Desdemona screamed as warm liquid splattered against him. Her legs squeezed him like she was trying to split him in half as she held him in place, accepting every drop of his seed. Just as he thought she was finished, the demoness squirted again, her juices spraying him as she lost all control, her crimson eyes rolling up inside her head as she clenched her razor-sharp teeth. “Goddess…”
“Holy…fuck…” Frost shuddered as he filled the demoness. His cock spasmed uncontrollably as he came. He panted as he looked down at the demoness, her breasts heaving with every deep breath as she blushed and avoided eye contact.
“I’m sorry,” Desdemona said quietly. “I said something embarrassing…”
“It was so fucking sexy,” Frost said, leaning down to kiss the demoness, biting her red lip as he pulled away.
“Darling,” Desdemona said, blushing as she touched her lips. “You kissed me. And it hasn’t been twenty-four hours.”
“I know,” Frost said, moving to her neck as his cock spasmed again. “You are so fucking sexy. Do you really want me to chain you up?”
“Don’t make me say it again,” Desdemona said bashfully as her body shivered. “It’s embarrassing.”
“We are going to have so much fun,” Frost growled as he nibbled on her ear.
“I love you,” Desdemona panted, staring up at him with her crimson eyes, flashing him her fanged smile.
“I love you too,” Frost said, slowly rolling off her. Madam Gardenia and Lysandra both grinning as they stared at him. “I love all of you.”
“We know that,” Madam Gardenia said playfully. “That’s not what we’re waiting to hear though.”
“Whose flavor do you like the best?” Lysandra asked as she snuggled up next to him before her fox-eared rival could. Madam Gardenia quickly leapt to the other side, securing that spot before Desdemona.
“I’m curious too,” Desdemona said excitedly as she crawled over Madam Gardenia to get to Lysandra. “Whose tastes the best?”
“Nope,” Frost said, shaking his head. “I’m never answering that.”
“But that was the whole point,” Madam Gardenia said playfully as she traced his abdomen with her finger. “To find out whose taste you preferred.”
“I prefer the way they taste all together,” Frost said, smirking at the red-haired Kina as he ran his hand through her soft hair. “But if you want an individual winner that’s not going to happen. At least not without several more chances to compare.”
“Oh,” Lysandra giggled. “I could agree to that.”
“Absolutely,” Madam Gardenia said as her tails slid up and down his chest.
“You’re covering him in your fur again,” Lysandra said.
“I know,” Madam Gardenia smiled. “It’s important.”
“You’re not even married to him,” Lysandra growled as she tugged his arm.
“We can talk about this later,” Frost yawned. “It’s been a long night. Let’s get a few hours of sleep.”
“Fine,” Lysandra said, glaring at the fox-eared woman. “We’ll discuss it later.”
The three women cuddled up with Frost, pressing their warm bodies against him. Lysandra and Desdemona both fell asleep quickly and as soon as they were asleep Madam Gardenia went back to brushing him with her tails, this time going even further. The fox-eared madam brushed her tails against him, Lysandra, and Desdemona.
“Haru,” Frost chuckled as he looked down at her. The redheaded Kina flashed him a mischievous grin as she looked up at him.
“It’s important,” she said as she marked everybody in the bed. Once satisfied, she draped her tails over everybody and cuddled up next to them.
The gorgeous Kina fell asleep and Frost quickly followed.
CHAPTER 22
Queen Henrietta Leaucault wasn’t Brynn’s birth mother but as far as Brynn was concerned, that didn’t matter. When her birth father died on the southern border and her birth mother killed herself, Queen Henrietta took her in and demanded King Leaucault accept her as his daughter.
She taught Brynn a lot of lessons throughout her life about what was required of a queen. A queen needed to appear kind, so that she could be cruel. A queen needed to appear honest, so that she could lie. A queen needed to appear puerile, so that she wasn’t taken seriously.
Most importantly, A queen needed to be so far beyond reproach that she could slit her husband’s throat in his sleep and nobody would consider her a suspect.
Queen Henrietta Leaucault was such a queen. To the public she was a silly woman that was loved by the masses for both her beauty and whimsical behavior. She would hop on the king’s lap during war councils to flirt, donate ridiculous sums of rel to various charities, and she frequently fainted at the sight of blood.
Naturally, everybody loved her.
What people never realized was that she sat in on those war councils so she could find out what was happening throughout the kingdom and make suggestions on how to handle them. Those ridiculous donations frequently funded rebellions against nobles she found unsuitable for their positions. And as for the blood, the woman walked into a local church, slit a priest’s throat, and walked out in broad daylight and was never a suspect.
She was a queen and anybody who crossed her would find out what that meant. And Brynn was her daughter, Princess Brynn Hilde Leaucault.
The guards began pounding on her door.
“Just a minute,” Brynn shouted as she took one more look in the mirror. She wanted to look perfect for Herald Law.
“Open up now!” the guard shouted, pounding harder.
“What’s happening?” Ena asked, sitting up in bed. “Brynn? What’s going on?”
“Herald Law wants to see us,” Brynn answered calmly while trying to decide whether she should wear a barrette to hold back her hair to show off her earrings or if she should let it fall naturally. If it were longer, she’d definitely wear the barrette but with its current length the earrings were still somewhat visible. She opted to wear it since it made her look slightly more youthful and she knew how Herald Law loved young women. “You three should get dressed.”
“Why does he want to see us?” Fayeth asked, hopping out of bed.
“I want to sleep,” Renna said, pulling the covers over her head. “I’m still tired.”
“You shouldn’t have stayed up so late with Brynn,” Ena growled while yanking the blanket off the petite elf, leaving her shivering in her pink thong as she curled into a ball.
“Don’t say things like that with guards outside the door,” Brynn said. She walked toward the bed and tickled Renna’s foot, causing the elf to practically leap out of bed. “Now get dressed.”
“No tickling!” Renna snapped angrily as she grabbed her dress off the floor and quickly put it in.
“Princess Brynn!” the guard shouted in a threatening tone. “You have three second
s to open up this door, or else!”
Brynn glanced at the elves, making sure they were all presentable before walking to the large door. She removed the steel bar holding it shut and quickly backed away as the guards barged in with their weapons drawn.
“What took you so long?” the royal guard snarled, pointing his blade at her.
“Or else what?” Brynn said calmly as she stepped toward the sword, pressing her neck against the tip of the blade. “I want to hear the words from your mouth. What did you intend to do if…”
“Herald Law demands…”
“Or…else…what,” Brynn said in a stern tone as she enunciated every word. The guard slowly backed away as he realized his mistake. She pointed at the guard while glancing at the four in the hallway behind him. “This man just threatened and assaulted a Princess of Zira. Arrest him immediately.”
“Yes, your highness,” the guards said, pulling the man back.
“I was following orders!” the royal guard said, attempting to break free from the others. “Herald Law said…”
“You can explain it at your trial for treason,” Brynn said indifferently. She turned her attention to one of the unoccupied guards. “Would you mind telling me what this is about?”
“Herald Law requests your presence immediately,” the soldier said, glancing at the elves. “And that we arrest the elves…”
“The elves are my handmaidens,” Brynn said courteously. “Arresting them would reflect negatively on me so I can’t allow it. I’m sure you understand.”
“Yes princess,” the man said, bowing politely. “But Herald Law…”
“Right!” Brynn said cheerfully. “You can take us to him and he’ll be able to sort this out immediately!”
“Of course your highness,” he replied uncertainly while turning to lead the way.
“Wow,” Renna laughed, attempting to latch onto Brynn’s arm.
“Please don’t touch me,” Brynn said sweetly while pulling her arm from Renna’s grasp. Brynn glanced at both Ena and Fayeth. “And please don’t say a word without my permission. Is that understood?”
“Oh,” Renna growled angrily. “It’s this Brynn again.”
“Understood,” Ena said bitterly as Fayeth huffed and nodded along.
“Renna?” Brynn said, glaring at the emerald-eyed elf. “Do you understand?”
“I’m not stupid!” Renna snapped.
“Come on then,” Brynn said, nodding at the guard to lead the way. “This nice gentleman is going to take us to my herald. I’m sure he’ll be able to sort out this misunderstanding.”
She followed the guards silently through the long corridors of the keep as they headed past the conference room. They continued walking until they reached the stairwell that led downstairs to the main hall. Brynn could hear loud voices echoing up the circular stairwell as they walked down it, eventually reaching one of the side entrances to the main hall.
They walked in to see Herald Law sitting on the throne, chastising several of his royal knights. His furious gaze shifted to Brynn as she entered with her elves.
“I said to throw them in a cell!” Herald Law said, pointing at the elves.
“I apologize Herald Law but I asked that they leave my handmaidens be,” Brynn said timidly while bowing to the herald. “These men barged into my room and one of them even held a sword to my neck and I have yet to find out why. Did I do something to upset you my herald?”
“You know why!” Herald Law yelled, pointing furiously at her and the elves. The blonde herald’s golden-eyes flashed with anger as he scowled at Brynn. “Last night the courtesan friends of your husband escaped! So, his elves are going to replace them!”
“What?” Brynn took several steps back, her vision becoming blurry as tears welled up in her eyes. “I understand why you’re upset my herald but I don’t understand how you could think I was a part of this.”
“Don’t even try it,” Herald Law said, stepping toward Brynn. “You must think I’m a fool.”
“No my herald!” Brynn said while shaking her head. “Do you really believe that I would have a part in this?”
“Your husband…”
“I had no part in this!” Brynn snapped. “And my husband is in his territory so it’s not possible that he released the women either! I suppose that leaves me! Is that why I’m here? Is that why you’re looking at me like you hate me? Do you really believe that I would betray you?”
“Who else is there?” Herald Law asked pointing at various soldiers in the room. “Was it him? Maybe him? Maybe it was one of the guards that were found melted in the street? Tell me Brynn, why did you insist on staying here if you had nothing to do with it?”
“Because I missed you and I enjoy spending time with you!” Brynn shouted. “After all the time we spent together how can you still not trust me?”
“I want to trust you,” Herald Law said, shaking his head as he stared at Brynn. “But you’re not giving me much reason to.”
“What reason have I given you not to trust me?” Brynn asked as tears streamed down her face.
“You married that deviant herald,” he replied, stepping toward Brynn threateningly. “And I know that he is behind this.”
“One of your men held a sword to my neck,” Brynn said while rubbing her neck. “I was so scared that he was going to kill me and he said that you ordered him to do it!”
“I did no such thing,” Herald Law insisted. “I told them to bring you to me immediately. I never authorized them to harm you.”
“And I believe you!” Brynn shouted while sitting on the floor. She sniffled and cried uncontrollably while using her skirt to wipe her tears. “I know that you would never wish your men to harm me because my herald would never do something like that but you think I would do that to you! It hurts so much!”
“Your husband is behind this,” Herald Law said, tempering his anger as he spoke.
“Maybe,” Brynn said, sniffling as she took several breaths and climbed back to her feet. “It’s not as though he tells me everything he’s doing. But you were already going to return the women as long as he killed King Asmund. Why would he risk their lives? It makes no sense! Maybe somebody freed them so he wouldn’t kill King Asmund. Maybe somebody from Rilia! That must be it! A spy from Rilia did it to save their king!”
“No,” Herald Law said, shaking his head. “The only people who knew that he was going to kill King Asmund were the people in that room.” Herald Law paused as he started working through alternative theories. “No. Valencia would have never allowed it.”
“Herald Law,” Brynn looked up at him, catching her breath as she wiped away the last of her tears. “I don’t want to say it but do you think Fiora wanted to be Queen of Rilia?”
“It seems plausible,” Herald Law said, glaring at his men. “And Baron Slade was involved in the escape. But so was William Grey and the elf from the embassy.”
“But doesn’t Baron Slade’s involvement make Fiora’s involvement undeniable,” Brynn said, clasping her hands together. “At the very least you must believe that I never betrayed you my herald.”
“My lord,” a royal guard stood up. “Baron Slade proclaimed he was acting alone and…”
“Obviously,” Herald Law scoffed at the guard before turning his attention back to Brynn. “But I’m not sure if this proves you innocent my little songbird.”
“I would never hurt you my herald,” Brynn said, smiling sweetly for the herald. “You must believe me. I’ve been a devout follower of Ziralia ever since I was a little girl. It must be Fiora! Maybe she made a deal of some sort with my husband!”
“I admit it’s plausible,” Herald Law said, stroking his chin as he thought through the situation. He glanced suspiciously at Brynn. “Why would Herald Frost accept such a foolish agreement?”
“I would rather not speculate,” Brynn said timidly while averting her gaze. “It’s silly.”
“Speculate,” Herald Law said, grabbing her chin and forcing he
r to look at him. “Why would he give up an entire country for nothing. I would have released the women and he would have controlled a country. Instead, he gets the women and an enemy.”
“Maybe this is conceited of me,” Brynn said, blushing. “But maybe he was jealous of you.”
“Jealous?” Herald Law scoffed as he released Brynn from his grasp. “Why do you say that?”
“I’ve been spending so much time with you,” Brynn answered, smiling as she looked up at him. “And he sees the way I look at you and he knows I’m still a follower of Ziralia. I know, it seems rather ridiculous to believe that a man would give up a country for me but that man is basically a stupid animal. Doesn’t it make sense that he would lose his mind when he sees how much I adore you? I know it’s silly…”
“I don’t think it’s silly at all my little songbird,” Herald Law said, his expression softening as he listened to her. “While the man isn’t a complete fool but he does seem to be driven by his base desires. He lays with elves, demons, and all manner of beasts. A woman like you might as well be the goddess herself when compared to those disgusting demihumans.”
Renna growled quietly, earning an angry glance from Herald Law as well as Brynn.
“I don’t want you to think ill of me, my little songbird,” Herald Law pulled out his Truthseeker Ring. “I hate the way I yelled at you when you came out and I hate that I must ask this of you. But I would like to verify some information.”
“You don’t trust me,” Brynn said quietly, sniffling as she took the ring. “I wish that you would trust me.”
The ring emitted a green glow for several seconds before dimming.
“I don’t wish to offend you but I can’t simply…”
“I have been a loyal follower of Ziralia since I was a child,” Brynn said as more tears dripped down her cheeks, the ring continuing to glow green as she spoke. “I have never given you any reason to doubt me over the years and you still don’t trust me. Do you have any idea how that feels?”
