Stupidly she felt tears running down her cheeks, the memories still hurt, the tears still came. Sebastian jumped up from the couch he’d been sitting on, and sat down next to her. He wrapped her in his arms and pulled her close. “It’s okay, I understand. I’m not freaked out, it actually feels good when you touch me.”
Those words sent a thrill straight through her, her body immediately registering his arms around her, the beating of his heart where her head rested on his chest. That electrical current ever present when they touched, was spiking higher than ever before. Raising her head, she looked up at him, his eyes betraying his desire, going a steely blue.
Before she knew it was happening, his mouth was on hers, demanding yet gentle. He probed her mouth with his tongue, tasting her tears, then gathered her closer. She slid willingly onto his lap, when he lifted her, seeking more access to her mouth.
He deepened the kiss, his hand roaming up to her shoulder then down her arm, his fingers entwining with hers, sending flashes of electricity through her creating a burning desire to feel his hands on her. When his hand left hers and found its way under her shirt, a tight spiral of desire began to build in her stomach. The feeling of his hand on her bare skin intensifying as he slid his hand up farther.
Cupping her breast in one of his large hands, he began to nibble on her neck, sending flames of desire whipping through her. Using his thumb and finger he teased her hard nipple, making her pant with desire. Sebastian, wanting more, lifted her up and turned her so she was straddling him. Pulling off her tee shirt, he cupped both of her breasts in his hands, making her arch her back in pleasure.
When his mouth found her hard nipple though her bra, all thought left her mind. She no longer cared about anything but the feeling this man was giving her. Her hands began to roam as well, stroking his chest, making him growl deeply in his throat.
His hands found the waist band of her pants and he was just about to pull them down, when the lights suddenly went out. It was so dark in the room that they both just froze where they were. Then the emergency lights when on and Leslie realized what they had just about done.
“We can’t do this.” She said, jumping off Sebastian’s lap.
“Why not? We’re both grown adults.”
Leslie couldn’t explain to him that she was on the run, instead she used the first excuse she could think of. “I don’t even know you.” She said, putting on her shirt.
“Well, that’s easy enough to fix.” He said, patting the couch beside him. “Come over here and I’ll tell you my life story.”
“I think we better call it a night. We both have to be up early and you’re still healing.” She reminded him.
“Fine, but this isn’t over.” He said, crossing the room and kissing her slowly and deeply.
When he finally broke the kiss, Leslie could only stand there, as her body pulsed with desire and that electricity she was beginning to realize was theirs alone. It felt different than anything she’d ever felt before. “I’ll walk you to your car.” He said, taking her hand.
They walked down the long gray hallway, then across the garage to her car in silence, each lost in their own thoughts. The garage wasn’t very big, only enough for the players and some of the staff. It was strange that she’d gotten one of the coveted spots, just another interesting fact he’d stored away.
“Leslie, I’ve been wondering why you’re here, working for the Tigers. I know the pay must be good, but it seems like your skills would be so much more useful somewhere else. I’ve watched you, you’ve got some serious skills, more than what’s needed for this job.”
Leslie thought about it for a long time, she couldn’t tell him the truth, but she had to tell him something. Michael had suggested a break up story might be believable, making a new start and all that. She was reluctant to use it, creating an ex might create a mess if she couldn’t keep her facts straight. Instead she gave him a vague answer, which skirted around the truth.
“Well, I needed a change. My life had taken a turn I didn’t like and getting away for a while seemed like the best choice at the time. This opportunity appeared and I couldn’t say no.” She said, pleased with her answer, she hadn’t lied. She’d just left some critical details out.
Sebastian thought about her answer, and took it for just what it was. Part of the truth. “I think you’re leaving something out, but I’ll wait until you want to tell me. I’m not going anywhere.”
“It’s not something I’m ever going to talk about. You’ll just have to be happy with what I told you.” She said, beginning to get angry. She didn’t need him poking his nose into her life. It was about the worst thing he could do, if he got too close to the truth, she’d be forced to move again. She’d been lucky to get this job, next time she’d probably end up in some low level job stocking shelves.
Unlocking her car, she started to get in, but Sebastian grabbed her arm and spun her around. Pulling her into his arms, he kissed her, then said. “Well, no matter the reason, I’m glad you’re here.”
She got into the car, heart hammering in her chest, her body practically throbbing with desire. Her secrets would remain her own, of that she was sure, but there was no denying the attraction she felt for Sebastian. They’d started something tonight and she was powerless to stop it. Putting the car into gear, she pulled out of her space, waving to Sebastian as she pulled away.
As she drove to her apartment, she began to dread telling Michael about getting tangled up with Sebastian, he was not going to be happy. But, maybe she didn’t have to tell him. He’d never said that she wasn’t allowed to live her life, he’d only said that it was not a good idea to become romantically involved.
Her relationship with Sebastian would have no impact on her ability to testify, it’s not like she had any choice. Testifying against Starikov was the only way she could get her old life back, although now that she’d met Sebastian, she wasn’t sure she wanted that old life back. She was sure of one thing, there was no reason to tell Michael about Sebastian, it was her business not his.
Chapter 5
Sebastian and Leslie spent most of the next week together, his knee was healing nicely, but the physical therapy was the key to a quick recovery so he continued on. It was hard work and Leslie pushed him to do more each day, pushing him to his limits and then a little more.
“Is this how you treat all your patients or are you just being mean to me.” He said, on Friday evening, clearly exhausted.
“Yep, don’t think I’m going to treat you any different.” She said, tweaking him on the nose.
“Isn’t it time to quit, it’s Friday night. Let’s go have some fun. I know a great Mexican restaurant downtown.” Sebastian said, pouting like a kid.
“It is time to quit, but I don’t think dinner is a good idea.” Leslie said, quickly becoming busy putting equipment away, hoping he’d just drop the subject of going out.
“Why not? There’s nothing wrong with us going out to dinner, and there’s also nothing wrong with us seeing each other.” Sebastian said, coming up behind her and wrapping his arms around her.
“It’s not that...” She said, trying to think of a good reason they shouldn’t go out to dinner.
“What is it? We’ve spent the whole week together, I’ve told you about my life, the ranch and my family. You can trust me. Leslie are you hiding from someone?”
She wasn’t surprised that he’d figured it out, of course, he had no idea just who she was hiding from and that was for the best. “Sebastian, I can’t talk about it, it’s not safe for either of us. You’re the one who is going to have to trust me.”
“Are you in danger? I think I should at least know that much.” He said, running his fingers through his hair as he began to pace around the room.
“The only thing I can tell you, is that it’s best if I don’t go out any more than necessary. I’m sorry Sebastian but that is all I can tell you.” Leslie said, crossing the room and pulling him to a
stop.
He looked into her eyes, for what seemed like a long time, then kissed her on the forehead and said. “Okay, we’ll order dinner in. But this time I’m going to override the lights so we don’t end up in the dark again. We can eat in one of the lounge rooms, Mexican food by candle light.”
She let the breath out that she had been holding, she really liked Sebastian. No, it was more than like, especially after spending the whole week with him. They’d gotten to know one another, trading stories about growing up. Leslie had been careful about what she told him, but still managed to give him the essence of her life.
She’d learned all about his family, especially enjoying the story of his brother, Garrett’s romance with Sabrina, his son’s teacher. It sounded like a romance novel, with danger when they got stranded in the mountains. Then romance, when they discovered a love that neither had been looking for, but couldn’t live without.
The story had made her feel jealous of the love Garrett and Sabrina had found, something that surprised her. Romance had not been high on her list of priorities before she met Sebastian, but now she found that he was quickly becoming a vital part of her life. But a huge part of her was worried that she only felt that way because she had so little contact with the rest of the world.
As secluded as she was, it would be too easy to develop feeling for Sebastian just because he was there. But every time her mind went that direction she remembered the electricity that seemed to spark between them. If anything it had only intensified over the last week, at times taking her breath away. It definitely had a sexual component, but there was more to it.
When she was with Sebastian she felt whole, like a part of her had been returned. She’d never felt that anything was missing, but now that she knew Sebastian, she was very aware of it when he wasn’t around. It had almost become a dependency, which was scary since her time here was limited, in fact her life might be limited if Starikov found her. The sexual tension between her and Sebastian was becoming quite intense and she wanted more than anything to give in to the temptation, but she knew it would be even harder to leave him once they’d made love.
But, she was tired of fighting it. “That sounds wonderful. I haven’t had Mexican food for a long time.” She said, suddenly nervous about where the night might lead.
“Great, I’ll go shower and arrange everything. See you in thirty minutes, let’s use the upstairs lounge. It has a lock on the door.” He said, looking her up and down, suggestively.
Her heart was pounding in her chest, but she managed to say. “Okay, I’ll see you there.”
As soon as Sebastian was out of the room, she ran to the locker room and jumped in the shower, they might be stuck here at the training facility, but she wasn’t going to wear her sweaty sweats to dinner. She’d stashed several changes of clothes in the locker here, just in case she had to escape from here, they would come in handy tonight.
She’d showered and put on a skirt and top, with a cute bra and panty set underneath. She didn’t remember packing them, but she wasn’t going to question her luck. Applying just a touch of makeup, she took the elevator upstairs to the lounge, as nervous as if she was going on a blind date.
She knew that Sebastian was already there, it had taken her longer than 30 minutes to get ready, and there was a wonderful smell coming out of the lounge. The door was open and she could hear music coming out of the room, when she poked her head in she saw that he’d lit candles and put their food on real plates.
It was all so romantic, she thought about running the other way, but only for a minute. Sebastian looked up and when he saw her, the raw desire in his eyes took her breath away. Crossing the room, he took her hand and led her to the table, and seated her in the chair.
“You look beautiful.” He said, kissing her on the cheek.
“Thank you, you look pretty good yourself.” She said, enjoying the sight of him in tight jeans and a western shirt.
He took the covers off their dinners and sat down across from her. Her nerves were singing with excitement as she took a bite of her food. It was so good, that they ate in silence, both concentrating on their food. But, it wasn’t long before they were both done and the silence seemed charged.
Sebastian got up and gathered their plates and took them to the kitchen, she noticed that he was hardly limping as he crossed the room. His knee had healed faster than she’d ever though was possible, but she’d been sending a lot of healing his way, so it shouldn’t surprise her. She’d noticed that when she used her gift on him it was stronger.
Those thoughts disappeared and were quickly replaced with a rush of desire when he crossed the room, shut the door, and locked it. “I told the guards that we were going to be up here, so they would leave us alone.”
Her mouth had suddenly gone dry, there was no mistaking his intentions, his desire was clear in not only his eyes, but the way he moved. Crossing the room, he took her hand and pulled her to her feet, then up against him. His mouth found hers in a blazing kiss, which took her breath away.
He pulled her across the room, and down onto the couch, his mouth never leaving hers. He kissed her until all the breath had left her lungs and her body was throbbing with desire. Every place he touched her, seemed to come alive, the nerves vibrating with pleasure.
When his mouth found her breast though her thin silk blouse, she nearly came off the couch with the pleasure of his hot wet mouth through the fabric. Sebastian shifted, grasped her hips and pulled her onto his lap, her legs straddling his hips.
Their eyes met, his silently asking her permission to go farther. Her answer was to begin unbuttoning her shirt, he quickly took over, when her shaking fingers weren’t working fast enough. Pushing her shirt down off her shoulders, he reached behind her and unclasped her bra and pulled that off as well.
She should have felt embarrassed to be so exposed to this gaze, but the look in his eyes, sent a wave of desire rushing though her. She wanted to feel his mouth on her breasts, and as if reading her mind, he pulled her closer and took one hard nipple into his mouth. She almost cried out with the pleasure, but she was distracted by his hands, which were slowly pushing her skirt up her legs, exposing the sensitive flesh of her inner thigh.
His mouth continued to tease her breasts, first one then the other, sucking and nibbling until she could feel herself getting wet between her legs. She could feel his erection pushing against her panties, hard and throbbing. She ground her hips into his erection, causing Sebastian to growl deep in his throat.
Standing her up, he unbuttoned her skirt and pulled it, along with her panties off in one motion. She instinctively raised her hands to cover herself, but he held her hands to her sides and said. “I just want to look at you, you’re beautiful.”
Her knees went weak when he spoke those words, a sense of marvel in his voice, but he stood up and laid her down on the couch. Then he stripped off his clothes and joined her. It was big enough for both of them, but just barely. Suddenly Leslie was aware of all his hard flesh connecting with hers and her desire rose as he took her in his arms.
He kissed her then, running his hands over her heated skin, teasing her with his mouth until she was moaning with need. He rolled her onto her back, then took one hard nipple in his mouth. Leslie was immediately on fire. She parted her legs as his hand stroked the inside of her thigh, moving slowly up to the juncture of her legs.
His hand paused, increasing her need, making her writhe underneath him. Finally he found her hard clit with his finger and stroked her, driving her wild with pleasure. He moved his mouth to hers in a demanding kiss, his fingers stroking her. She was on the brink of orgasm, her mind lost in a swirl of pleasure that only continued to build.
Sebastian, drove one finger deeply inside of her, making her arch her hips to meet him, as her orgasm crested and sent her flying though space. Any sound she might have made was absorbed by his mouth, which continued to possess her in an unrelenting attack on her senses.
/> Unable to breathe, she broke the kiss and said, “Sebastian, I need you, please.”
He managed to say, “Music to my ears, my sweet.” Before moving between her legs and driving himself deeply inside her.
Any questions about the connection they shared, were immediately silenced when his body joined hers. The electricity that always seemed to swirl around them coalesced into a surge of pleasure so intense she thought she would cry. Then Sebastian began to move inside her, long strokes, which were so pleasurable it was almost painful.
Her body wasn’t satisfied with the slow pace Sebastian had set, her hips raised to take each stroke of his hard body as deeply into her as possible. Growling in his throat, Sebastian drove himself into her harder, increasing the pace until she hardly had time to take a breath.
Leslie could feel her pleasure building to the peak that meant an orgasm was soon to follow, so she wrapped her legs around Sebastian’s hips, opening herself to him and the wonderful feeling of his hard thrusts. Sebastian could feel her muscles tightening, but wasn’t ready to let go.
He pulled out of her, making her cry out in frustration, but immediately flipped her over onto her hands and knees. Kneeling behind her, her rubbed his throbbing cock against her clit, then thrust into her. She was wet and hot, ready for him to go deeper, which he did. Holding onto her hips, he slammed himself into her, again and again.
Leslie was beyond thought, ready to explode with the pleasure of Sebastian’s hard body slamming into hers. When his fingers found her clit and began to rub, she could feel the pleasure in every nerve ending as the most powerful orgasm she had ever felt took her spinning over the edge. The world seemed to explode when she felt Sebastian’s orgasm rock though his body.
His rippling muscles extending her orgasm, wave after wave of pleasure almost scorching her with its intensity. Her limbs no longer able to support her weight, she collapsed onto the couch, Sebastian still inside her.
“Don’t move, I want this to last forever.” He said, gently moving them to a more comfortable position, but still not pulling out of her.
