  About the Author

  Kimberly Ivey began her writing career more than twenty five years ago as a freelancer. She is the author of hundreds of nonfiction articles, short fiction, poetry and more than a dozen books that are published in print and electronic form.

  Over the years she has served on the board of professional writer’s organizations, chaired literacy fundraisers, and presented workshops at conferences and to writers groups. She is also a creative writing instructor for a southeast Texas college.
