Teach Me Your Love Page 20

by Rita Hestand

She was shocked at the size of him, glorying in the way he filled her. When he began to move within her she closed her eyes and for the first time she let herself go, matching his movement, seeking that wonderous orgasm that sent them both crashing to earth after many heady moments of pure ecstasy. She saw stars, she felt so content, so happy, she wanted to cry, she wanted to laugh, she wanted him again and again. Once would never be enough with him. This love between them was bigger than life. He filled her with a joy she could not explain or express.

Never had she imagined such a coming together with a man. The glory of finally being one with him filled her with a contentment she'd never known.

  "A last we are together."

"Your body welcomes me… " he smiled.

  "I belong to you now."

Moments later, after the wave of fulfillment filled her, and she knew she carried his seed, she smiled against his skin.

"I never imagined… " she stared at him now, "It could be so wonderful between a man and a woman. Still, I must tell you… I've felt some strange and wonderful pull toward you all along." She cried as her lips caressed his jaw. "I tried not to acknowledge it at first, but the first time I laid eyes on you, I thought you the most beautiful man I'd ever seen. You stirred something inside me, and it scared me then. Scared me because it was all so new to me, to feel these things. And slowly, as I got to know you, it didn't scare me at all. But I began to want you. To need you to claim me as your own. And I never felt like that before. It was the most powerful feeling, I needed, you to fulfil me and I had to admit my love for you."

He smiled against her now, their bodies feeding each other.

"Dear One, that is the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me."

"I couldn't believe how attracted I was to you from the beginning. I thought it wrong at first. I guess I'd been brainwashed or something. But the more I looked at you and wanted you, the more I realized it wasn't wrong. It was natural. I began to realize that everything John had said to me was so very wrong. That the feelings one has for another is God given."

"No, my sweet, it is not wrong. I have wanted you from the beginning, tempering myself every time I was with you, not to take you. Had I taken you when I first saw you, you would recent me and fight me. Still, I am glad we waited, as the waiting made it better. What is so beautiful about you is the honesty of your words, the sensual look of your body, and your innocent mind. Seeing you come alive in my arms, I am at last a happy man. You are my woman now, you and only you, forever. I will take you many, many times in our lifetime, enjoying each taking. I will never let you go… "

  "Promise?"

  "Promise."

He pumped himself deeper and deeper. The thrill of loving him was overwhelming. The orgasm that raged between them now lasted for long moments, as she moaned softly, and her lips sought his. Her eyes closed, and a soft moan came from her lips like a prayer.

Later as they indulged themselves in food, they talked.

"I admit I was jealous of Painted Dove. I selfishly wanted you to want me. When I gave up fighting what was between us from the start, I realized you held a power over my heart."

She stared into his eyes now and saw the love that was between them there. It melted her heart to know he loved her. She was more than sure of it now. "It was all my fault, in stifling my feelings for you, I set off a chain reaction of wrong signals to you. How could you possibly know I loved you all along?"

"I ran away because I was jealous and because I couldn't control the feelings I had around you. I had no right to fall in love with you like I did. No right to look at you. But I did. I'd been brought up to believe that a white woman would never look upon an Indian. But God help me I did. The more I looked upon you, the more I was around you, the more you smiled and laughed, the more I wanted you. I was lustful, sinful, and yet, it felt so very right to fall in love with you. You gave me the gift of laughter. You taught me that love is never wrong. You gave me a hope for the future I never had. I will never leave you, never doubt you, and never let another woman come between us, for I love you truly. And if God will permit, I will have you a son… "

He stared into her face, his hands coming to her cheeks to hold her there, his thumbs softly massaging her there. "I do want children, but what you gave me just now, has no price upon it. Until this moment, neither of us were complete. Now we are. You are mine now, remember that. You are Red Elk's wife, woman, companion, lover. You and only you my love. And no woman nor man will ever come between us again."

"Always." She murmured as she kissed him again.

They made love until their energy played out and then they snuggled into each other and held each other through the night.

The next morning, she woke with such contentment she lay smiling and amazed at herself and him. Never in all her life had she had such a night. Never had she known such an unbridled pleasure. But the best part of the morning was when she looked at him, so content in sleep, and knowing she was his now. She belonged here, there was no more doubts. It gave her confidence, hope, and faith that she had married well. She belonged to him, loved him and nothing save death would ever keep them apart now. She would be his willing slave forever.

"Oh, Red Elk, I love you so… " she whispered as she lay in his arms, kissing on him.

"That's good to know," he whispered near her ear, "As I don't intend to ever let you go, woman."

She raised over him and smiled. "Promise?"

"You can count on it. It's a promise." He smiled, kissed her breast and repeated, "It is a good day to be alive."

She stared into his eyes, "Yes, it is." She laughed. "You have such a good outlook on life. You seem a happy man. I have always admired that about you."

"Funny, he touched her cheek lovingly. "I knew my God would send me a woman someday that I would love beyond heaven and earth, and when I looked upon you that first day, I knew it was you."

"I must have looked terrible that first day you saw me, dirty, my hair a mess."

"Real beauty is hard to disguise, my love."

"I'll admit I have been taken before, but I had never been made love to before last night."

"I would be jealous if you had. For what you gave me last night is what I have been seeking for so very long. Now you know the difference between having relations and making love."

"Was I as good as Painted Dove?"

"As good? Dear One, you still don't understand what I'm trying to tell you. I have never had a woman that loved me like you did last night. Painted Dove was only interested in herself. She cared nothing about pleasing me. But you, I have thought about you, dreamed about you. Wanted it with you from the beginning, just didn’t know if I should take you or not. And it was my father's words about taking a white woman that cautioned me to be gentle, to wait for the moment. I thought you might run away if I took you too soon. But the need was there, growing every day. I kept thinking how my father said a white woman could not be rushed or taken, that her love had to be given first. I have given myself, but never received what you so willingly offered me. You were like a flower blooming for the first time, free to feel the sunshine on your face. Before you went to sleep, I looked upon you and my heart turned over. You looked so content, so happy. It was there on your beautiful face, for me to look at. I have been a fool for not taking you sooner. For making you worry and fret over Painted Dove so. Nothing could be more wonderful than having you in my arms."

"You're just saying that," she playfully pounded his chest. He stopped her and sat up, bringing her into his lap.

"No, I am not. Painted Dove wanted all the pleasure, she gave little back for it. It was the same as a man getting on and getting off. It was sex, Naomi, what you and I did was make love. There is such a difference. Even John was merely having sex with you. He didn't love you, he never pleased you. He never even tried to. What's worse, he never even looked upon you. And that alone my sweet is a treasure beyond compare. You weren't married to him, you were merely a life
partner."

She looked at him and smiled sexily at him, "I could not believe I could feel like this. I don't know what happened to me, I just seemed to let go. I wanted you so badly I didn't stop to think if it was right or wrong, I needed to be with you. Since I left my family in Missouri, I felt so out of place. And belonging was everything to me. I never belonged to John, I knew that at my wedding."

"Dear One, you will feel that way as long as I live. I will want you every night."

"Is it sinful to love this much?"

"No, we are one. We are married, truly now. And there is nothing sinful as long as we both agree. Last night was the honeymoon we should have had."

"I don't think we'll have a problem with that any longer. For left up to me, our entire life would be a honeymoon."

He ran his hands through her hair now as he held her in his arms. "You are the woman I have wanted all my life. The flower that blooms against me."

"And you are the only man I can say I truly loved. I was afraid I wouldn't please you."

"If you pleased me much more, I'd be dead. It is good with us. We will have many babies."

  She smiled, "I hope so."

He smiled too now as he stared into her eyes, "Well, even if we don't, we'll have a lot of fun trying."

She laughed now, a joyous sound, that made him smile. "Forgive me for asking, but if I cannot give you a child, will you still love me?"

His gaze centered on her luscious lips now, his eyes going over her slowly, taking her in, drinking her in, and a slow smile invaded his lips. "Children are important, but Naomi, what we shared last night can sustain any man. I will love you for the rest of my life, and into eternity, whether we have a child or not. But if we do have children, they will be beautiful, and they will smile and laugh, and play the flute and dance and be happy, that I promise you."

"I love your laughter, your smile."

She stared at him and sensations passed through her when he smiled like that.

"My smile, my laugher? No one has told me that before."

She cuddled into him now with such a satisfied sigh. "When smiles and laughter are vacant from your life, you appreciate them so when you find them. John was a solemn man, not given to either. Growing up, I was surrounded by smiles and laughter. When I left Missouri, all of that faded into the wind, and was no more. It was hard work, and no pleasure. I didn't mind so much at first, and even in the Comanche camp it was the same. There was little merriment. Then I came here. Bear Foot was gruff, but even he was pleasant. And your smile thawed the cold from my heart once more. The sound of your mellow voice, the hearty laughs you would give, warmed me. I cannot explain it any different. A simple laugh, a smile, changed me."

"Such a heartfelt compliment warms me, my love. This is part of our love, for we love more than just the body. What comes from our hearts feeds us. Even though it was hard not having you for so long, the wait was well worth it. We have grown as people. We have known each other in many other ways and that is what makes our love so good."

She kissed him sweetly on the lips and smiled. "Never stop smiling or your laughter, for I treasure it."

"I will remember it." He promised nodding.

"We better get up, someone might come in."

"I sure wish we didn't have to, I like looking at you. Clothes do not tell what a woman looks like, it hints but does not tell. You have magnificent breasts, such a small waist and rounded hips that a man can put his hands around."

She stood up and he got up and put her dress on her as he kissed her breasts one last time. "I almost hate to put this on you. I like looking at them. You will feed our babies well." Then he brought her against him, holding her buttocks in his hands and close to his arousal. "See what you do to me?"

She laughed. "I hope I can always do that to you. Are you hungry?"

  "Famished." He smiled.

"Then get dressed while I make breakfast," she chuckled.

"I am glad we have finally been together and loved, as it should be with a husband and wife. Never be afraid again, for I will not let anything, or anyone hurt you again."

"Just come back safely from those gun runs, is all I ask."

"I will come back, running to hold you in my arms." He smiled.

"I will miss you, too." She snickered.

"You and Chosen One should stay together while we are gone."

"That would be nice. She's going to teach me some words, so I can talk to others."

  "That is good." He smiled.

"Now that I know they accept me, I want to be their friends too."

"I think you need an Indian name too."

"What would you call me?" she chuckled.

"Dear One, or Sweet One is what I will call you, but Little Flower seems to fit you."

"Why?" she asked with a smile.

"Because you bloom like a flower when we make love."

She laughed. "We've come a long way since you first took me from Bear Foot, have we not?"

He took her in his arms, kissed her sweet lips then added, "A very long way, my love."

  Chapter Eighteen

The next morning Naomi got up, put the coffee on and went back to Red Elk's arms. She kissed him on the chin and snuggled into his arms once more. This was the life she had sought for so long, and to have found it here in an Indian village still stunned her. Happiness filled her now. It was a fulfilling happiness that completed her in every way.

Being with Red Elk bonded her to him and the entire tribe. She felt like an Apache now. She knew this was her home, and she was happy.

When Red Elk opened his eyes he smiled, "I thought I was dreaming, but it is true you are here, in my arms. Willingly."

She smiled, "For the rest of my life. Good morning."

"I will be right back, do not go anywhere." He told her.

She snuggled into the blanket and smiled, waiting for his return.

When he came back, he took his breechcloth off once more and brought her against him.

"I'm so happy…" she told him.

He kissed her tenderly on the lips. "It is good. We are one now, sweet one. And I want you for breakfast, and supper." he snickered and cuddled into her.

"I do not mind," she chuckled. "It's like I thought it would be, heaven in your arms."

He kissed her solidly on the lips and she melted, she could feel herself melting into his arms now. She sighed with such contentment. This is where she belonged, she knew that now. His love was all she needed to make her life complete. Currents of white-hot desire filled her. His hands aroused an awakening as they glided smoothly over her curved waist and rounded hips. He softly cupped her buttocks bringing her solidly against him. The way he massaged her there, had her seeking him out.

She felt herself grow warm and wet and so very ready for him. She marveled at how her body readied for him. Nature took its course, she didn't even have to think about his sweet touches, all she had to do was feel. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the rapture of his lovemaking. God had finally blessed her and given her a home with this man.

His lips moved down her neck slowly, nibbling and raising goosebumps on her. He went on to her creamy white shoulders, then to her soft breasts where he nestled to kiss and lave her nipples. His tongue swirled possessively over them, making them pucker. His lips smiled gently against her there. Surrounding the tips of her nipples, covering them with sweet kisses, he suckled them, laving them with his warm tongue. Then he pulled a nipple gently between his teeth. She moaned softly and thrust her breast toward his mouth for more.

  "Do you like that… "

"I like everything you do to me."

Her hands danced in his hair, her lips smiling all the while. "Yes, oh yes…. You are a lover like no other. You send a woman to her knees begging for your love."

She moved almost erotically in his arms now, straining to be closer, her hands going over his back gently.

He laid her beside him and as one hand went over her breast the other dipped lo
wer, much lower. She silently marveled at how his hands and tongue could send her into a raging ball of desire. She was on fire. Her body was his, she gave it to him freely. She moved her hips against him in reply as he touched her ever so gently there. "You are so wet and warm, my love… You invite me in… "

Suddenly he entered her, and he sighed, "I cannot help it, I need to be here right now."

"I don't mind," she told him. "I'm glad you want me… I feel on fire for you, that only you can put out. I love you Red Elk, with all my heart. And I trust you. I know when you promise me something, you mean it. I know I am yours and that we will grow old together. And I will love you all the days of my life."

"Want you? I have dreamed of the day we might be like this. I have wanted it so badly." He confessed. "Sometimes I grit my teeth to keep myself from taking you and making you mine, I wanted you so badly. The way you kiss me, undoes me. Never has a woman ever melted from my kisses, until now. To love you freely is God's blessing to me."

"Don't get mad, but there were times I wanted to touch you too, kiss you. But I was afraid to. Just looking at you sometimes heated me. At first, I felt wicked wanting to look at you. But the closer we became, the more I wanted to."

"Why were you afraid of me?" he smiled gently at her.

"Not you, of myself. I did not want you to think me a whore. I was falling in love with you from the very beginning. I fought it, because I thought I should. John kept telling me everything was a sin, and I fought those notions for some time, until I realized that love is not a sin. And it was love I was feeling. The need to be one with you was so great. But sometimes desire would flow through me. Just looking at you… I wanted you. I'd never wanted a man like that. It scared me. The urge to touch you was so overpowering. I even looked at you. I never looked at a man before, like that, but I couldn't tear my eyes away."

"If I'd only known… " he chuckled softly at her ear, nipping it with his teeth.

"Sometime, the waiting creates something more powerful…. Like this insatiable appetite for each other. I've never been this aggressive with a man before… but with you it seems natural somehow. I felt a pull toward you that I couldn't stop, I didn't want to stop. One day I looked at you, and I knew… I wanted to be a part of your life."
