With a growl, he reached up and touched her nipple, his thumb and forefinger tweaking the sensitive peak. “Care to continue?” he asked, then lifted his head to take the tip into his mouth, sucking, his teeth scraping against the peak and causing her to scream out as the faint hint of pain mixed with the intense pleasure.

He released her hands for a moment, so that he could discard the rest of his clothes, then he pulled her skirt off, tossing her shoes behind him. With a tug, the material of her underwear tore off. He laughed again when she tried to shift, maybe try and wiggle away from him. “Oh no, my dear. You ignored me when I tried to talk to you earlier today. Then you tried to avoid me in your office. Now, you’re going to suffer the consequences.” He rolled over once again, pushing her right back where she’d been moments before but this time, there were no barriers between them.

She smiled, feeling powerful as she wrapped her thighs around his waist. He wouldn’t really punish her. She knew that deep down in her heart. “What happened to ladies first?” she asked, gasping when his hands slid up her thighs, his thumbs resting against the top of her mound while his fingers splayed out against her stomach.

“Oh, you’re not only going to come first,” he vowed as his fingers spread her lower lips wider, his eyes feasting on the glistening pink folds he’d just revealed. “You’re going to come repeatedly.”

She shook her head, a bit nervous about that proclamation. “I only need once, Jaffri,” she told him, breathless once again now that he was staring at her most intimate areas. She wanted to close her legs, but feeling his gaze on her like this was…well, it turned her on! She even spread her legs wider, giving him a better view.

“More,” he commanded, but didn’t wait for her to comply. He simply pulled her higher up onto his chest. “Perfect,” he groaned, caressing those glorious pink folds with a gentle finger.

She shifted, trying to move away from the torment, but he only laughed. “Not going to happen, my beautiful lady,” he promised, his arms moving under her legs as he pulled her even higher. She was literally straddling his head now, his mouth exploring her and she couldn’t move, the sensations too wonderful. Feeling him like this, feeling him move along her body, tasting and taking his time, she was literally screaming by the time he pulled that sensitive nub into his mouth. Then she really screamed, her throat raw with the need to climax.

But would he give her what she needed? What she begged for? Oh no! He was determined to have his fun. “Jaffri! Please, I can’t keep this up,” she sobbed, trying to move away from him, but he had his muscular arms wrapped around her upper thighs, his hands opening her up so that he could feast on her folds, her nubbin.

“I’m just getting started,” he promised. A moment later, his mouth moved over her again, sucking in that nub, his tongue flicking against the aroused peak and she arched her back, grinding against his mouth.

“No more!” she begged, pressing her hands against his head, trying to get him to finish the job.

He laughed. “One more time, okay?” he teased. “Since you didn’t give me any relief last night, I figure I get more tonight.”

She shook her head, unaware of how her hair was flying every which way as she writhed against him, adding more frustration to her already primed body.

“No please. I can’t take anymore!”

“Just once more to the edge, okay?” And once more, he ignored her pleas, wrapping his mouth around that nub and sucking gently. It took only that to send her over the edge to a screaming climax that arched her whole body into his mouth. Slowly, he released the pressure and soothed her back down, smiling when he saw how hard she was breathing. Her body fell sideways, limp against the mattress, her eyes closed.

She heard movement, her lashes fluttering as she tried to figure out what he might do next. She watched him as he slowly shifted their positions, his eyes never leaving her the whole time.

“I thought this was your turn,” she commented through dry lips.

“That was for me,” he replied, grabbing a condom and rolling it down his length. A moment later, he knelt over her, nudging her legs wider to make room for him. Sliding his forearms under her knees, he pulled her against him, positioning himself right at her opening. “Tell me that you’re going to marry me, Giselle,” he commanded.

He slid in slightly, then back out, watching the entrance where their bodies connected. He was fascinated by the way her swollen folds gave way, tightening around his erection, then relaxing as he pulled out again. In and out, he watched, wanting another taste but not willing to give up the sight of her giving way to his invasion or the perfectly tight feeling when he inched his way into her body. He could only do one or the other, more’s the pity.

“I can’t marry you,” she argued, grabbing onto the bed, trying to entice him deeper into her body.

Jaffri watched as she wiggled, needing him deeper, but he wouldn’t give her that satisfaction. Not yet. “I’ll take that as a yes,” he replied, pressing deeper into her heat. “Damn, you feel good, Giselle!”

She threw her head to the side, unable to maintain eye contact with him. Not that he was watching her face anyway. He was watching that area where their bodies connected and he loved that sight! “Jaffri!” she yelled when he wouldn’t move in deeper.

“Tell me you love me, Giselle,” he commanded next, going just a bit deeper, then pulling back, gritting his teeth when she screamed. He loved that sound, wanted to feel her tighten around him when he was deep inside of her, feeling her surround him. She was so perfect, so beautiful, and amazingly responsive. Her delicate fingers gripped his arms and he wanted her hands all over him, but again, he wasn’t willing to give up this current sensation. They had all night, he thought with satisfaction. And since it was Friday, he figured he could keep her in bed all weekend. He had no idea what was going on this weekend, but he wasn’t giving up time with Giselle. The rest of the world could wait for the next few days. He was going to make love to his fiancée.

“Please, don’t do this to me,” she sobbed, wiggling her hips in a way that almost caused him to lose control. But he pulled back before she could get her way.

“Tell me what I want to hear, Giselle and I’ll give us both what we want.”

She shook her head and twisted once again, her inner muscles tightening around hm. “Give me what I want and let’s talk about the rest later,” she offered as a compromise.

“This isn’t a negotiation, Giselle. I told you before, this is all about me. I’m going to win and you’re going to love my winning.”

She laughed, almost rolling her eyes, but he shifted against her, his thumbs caressing that sensitive nubbin again. She screamed and clawed at the bed, making him laugh even as the pain of needing to release everything into her tight body was at the breaking point. “Give in, Giselle. We’re both going to win in the end. Why torture yourself this way?”

Another scream and she arched against him, but he was stronger and wouldn’t let her have her way. He knew what she was trying to do, and he wasn’t going to give her that release until she’d agreed to his terms. “Full disclosure and I’ll give it to you, honey. Just tell me. I know you love me, but I want to hear the words.” Another flick of his thumb and she once more clawed the bed.

“Fine! I love you,” she declared, digging her fingers into the mattress. “Did you hear me? I love you! I kind of hate you right now, but I love you!”

He threw back his head and laughed, the sound filled with triumph. But he gave in, lowering her legs and leaning over her, giving her the friction that she needed. He also filled her fully, right to the hilt as his body throbbed with his own need to climax. But not before her, he thought. Thrusting into her again and again, he was rougher than he intended, but in the end, just a caress from his thumb sent her spiraling over the edge to oblivion and he was able to follow a few thrusts later, holding her closely and praying he wasn’t hurting her.

When it was all over, he rolled to his side and pulle
d her against him, both of them struggling to catch their breath. He stared up at the ceiling, his fingers tangling in her hair as he held her against him, needing that contact, skin to skin, to know that she was okay.

“Did I hurt you?” he asked.

  Silence.

Rolling over, he moved so that she was tucked underneath him and peered down at her. But the tears creeping down her cheeks made his stomach clench. “Honey, I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to be that rough with you! I lost control,” he explained, bending lower to kiss away her tears. Damn, he’d thought she was okay, but obviously, she wasn’t and he’d hurt her.

Then she did something astounding. She reached up, winding her arms around his neck, pulling him closer. He rolled slightly, trying to protect her from his weight, but needing as much contact with her as possible. “Talk to me, love. Tell me how I hurt you. I’ll make it better, I promise!”

A sniffle caused his arms to tighten and he rubbed his cheek against the softness of her hair, trying to soothe her in any way he could.

“Please, Giselle, tell me where you hurt?”

She lifted her head and those tear-damp eyes were a sucker punch to the gut! He rubbed the tears away with his thumb, but that wasn’t enough. Lifting her higher, he kissed the tears, trying to absorb her pain.

“I’m not physically hurt, Jaffri,” she explained, placing a hand on either side of his face. He looked down into her eyes and shook his head.

“You’re just trying to hide it. Tell me honey. Where do you hurt?” His hand moved lower, gently sliding against the juncture of her thighs. “Did I hurt you here?”

She gasped and tried to wiggle away from his hand, but he caught the blush that stained her cheeks and wouldn’t relent.

“No! I’m fine,” she insisted, grabbing his wrist and trying to pull his hand away.

He didn’t believe her. “Why are you crying then?”

She sighed, then buried her face against his neck. “Because it was beautiful,” she finally admitted. His hold relaxed and she was able to pull his hand away, placing it on her waist. But that wasn’t good enough for him. She might be shy about that area, but he wasn’t going to allow any inhibitions between them so he cupped his hand around her bottom, loving the way her skin was so soft. He couldn’t stop touching her. Not after that explosive experience. Not ever!

He felt her sigh and push against his chest. He didn’t want her to leave his arms, but he suspected she might need a bit of space to explain.

Jaffri watched with fascination as she sat up and pushed her glorious hair out of her eyes. He’d done that, he realized, wanting to laugh with the joy inside of him, seeing the glow on her face. But he held back, needing to know what was going on inside of her head.

“I’m sorry, I was crying because…” she suddenly stopped, her eyes widened and, instead of the pretty shade of pink, her face went deathly pale. The next moment, she leapt out of his bed and hurried towards his bathroom.

He stayed on the bed, staring after her, wondering what that was about. But when he heard her throwing up, he hurried into the bathroom to find her kneeling on the floor.

“Honey,” he soothed, grabbing a washcloth and wetting it with cool water. Kneeling down beside her, he held her hair back as her body continued to convulse, even though her stomach was already empty. When she finally sat back, the worst over, he handed her the cloth, then lifted her gently into his arms, so he could carry her over to the sofa.

He didn’t move for a long time, nor did she. But he thought furiously, trying to figure out what she might have eaten that would upset her stomach so badly. When the truth hit him, he wanted to leap up and roar with triumph. She was pregnant! Not exactly the way he would have chosen for this to happen, but he didn’t give a damn how, as long as it was true, and she was okay.

His woman was going to have his baby! Damn, the thought kept bouncing around his mind. He needed to plan for the issues surrounding her pregnancy, like getting her to a doctor, getting his ring on her finger, ensuring that the baby was okay, telling his parents. But all he could focus on was that his woman was having a baby and this would only solidify their need to marry. She couldn’t get away from him now and he wanted to laugh out loud.

When she shifted slightly, he took that to mean she was feeling better. Looking down into her pretty eyes, he smiled, wondering if she was going to admit her pregnancy to him. “Feeling better?” he asked gently.

She sighed and rubbed her cheek against his chest. He loved feeling her like this, curled up like a cat on his lap. She weighed almost nothing and all of her soft skin felt amazing against his body.

“I’m better. Thanks. I don’t know what happened.”

“You don’t?” he asked, wanting to laugh again with the sheer exhilaration. But the look in her eyes told him she was being completely honest. He was stunned! She didn’t know she was pregnant?

Was she? Was he only hoping that she was pregnant? But then he stopped that line of thinking. They’d been together for just a few weeks. Was it was too soon for her to be pregnant?

Okay, that was stupid. Of course she could be pregnant, but she might not know it yet. And she definitely wouldn’t be experiencing morning sickness this early on. Would she?

Thinking back, there was that one night, one of their first nights together, when they’d been frantic for each other. He remembered that the condom he’d tossed into the trash hadn’t felt right, but at the time, he’d been too eager to get back to her, to pull her into his arms so that he could start the whole process over again.

Now that he thought about that night, perhaps the condom had broken. He was usually so careful but with Giselle, his need for her was too strong. Too powerful. Even now, just thinking about her being pregnant was causing his body to react in a very strong, most likely inappropriate way. But he didn’t give a damn. His woman was going to have his baby and he was thrilled.

“I suppose I haven’t been eating well over the past couple of days,” Giselle admitted. “Jaffri, we can’t keep doing this,” she told him, trying hard to keep her tears away. “You have to sort out your engagement.”

He laughed softly, kissing the top of her head. “Honey, that’s what you’re doing. The plan is to show Mila moving about the country with my mom and sister, talking about women’s issues and showing the world that our countries are friendly now. Mila and I won’t be seen together during that time. I’ll also be doing interviews with a couple of select reporters and the issue will be brought up carefully, allowing me to explain to the world that there wasn’t an engagement, that the gesture done by Mila’s father was simply a misunderstanding.”

Giselle liked that plan, was even eager to do her part in planning all of the events.

Then there was the issue that she was madly in love with Jaffri. He was royal and she was…well, no one. She was merely a commoner.

“I still can’t be with you.”

He wouldn’t let her slip off of his lap. “We’re getting married, Giselle. You told me that you love me.”

Giselle pulled her eyes away from his fascinating blue ones, looking towards the dark windows. “Yes. I love you. But Jaffri, there’s no way a relationship between the two of us can work.”

He pulled her back against him, not allowing her to leave him, not physically or mentally. “Giselle, whether you are willing to admit it or not, we’ve been in a relationship ever since I caught you in my arms in the hallway. Marriage is the next logical step.”

“Not logical to me. I’m not royal. I haven’t grown up in this world. I wouldn’t even know how to handle being married to you.”

He laughed and kissed her again. “Well, you’d better get used to it, because we’re getting married. You love me. I love you. It’s a done deal.” He didn’t bring up the fact that he suspected she was pregnant. That would certainly clinch the deal, but for some reason, he wanted her to marry him because she wanted to, because she loved him and felt as he did – that she was the only wo
man in the world for him.

He enjoyed that thought for a long moment before he realized that she was completely still. Unnaturally still! Looking down at her, he noticed that her eyes were wide and she was doing that cute lip-biting thing that she did whenever she was nervous or thinking hard. “What’s wrong?”

She looked up at him and he couldn’t stop himself from kissing her lips. They were swollen now, so he was extra gentle. “You said that you love me,” she whispered, staring up at him as if he’d just slapped her.

He rubbed his thumb over her cheek. “Of course I love you, Giselle. Why in the world would I put up with that ridiculously small bed of yours if I didn’t?”

Under any other situation, she probably would have laughed at his quip. Maybe even rolled her eyes and reiterated that her bed was the perfect size for normal people. But he’d just announced that he loved her. He’d said it as if he were simply passing the time.

“What do you mean?” she asked, unaware of her hands gripping his wrists as if she might crumble if she let go of him.

“What part are you confused about?” he asked gently.

She looked at each of his features, memorizing them just in case she’d misunderstood. “I would very much appreciate it if you could say all those things again.”

He watched her and realized what she was really asking. “You heard me, Giselle. I love you. I’ve loved you for weeks. Possibly from that first moment I saw you dancing in the hallway. How could you not know this?”

She stood up, forgetting for the moment that she was naked. “How could I not know?” she demanded furiously. But when she caught his gaze dropping to her breasts, before traveling lower, she realized he was too distracted to answer her question. Grabbing one of the couch pillows, she used it to shield the front of her body, leaving only her legs and arms visible.

He laughed but she ignored the sensual shiver that raced through her at the sound of his amusement. This was serious. She needed to understand why he’d said those words. “You think that pillow is going to stop me from looking at you?”
