“Well, I guess I’ll just have to say thank you,” she said with her heart racing.
She had a few hundred thousand, but millions? No, not her. Kory did, but not her. She told Myah she was taking a day and went to the jewelry store.
“Is he here?” she asked the clerk that was out front.
“Yes, he is,” he said and let her back. She went to his office door and tapped.
“Come in,” Kory yelled. When she opened the door, she saw he was on the phone. She shut the door softly behind her and came around and sat on his desk in front of him and started to unbutton her top slowly. She revealed her cute black and pink lace bra. Then she stood, hiked up her skirt, and removed her panties.
She could see Kory was struggling to concentrate on his conversation. She could see his dick began to swell.
“Hal, listen something just came up,” he finally said. “Please let me call you right back.” He hung up so fast Tiffany doubted the other person had time to agree.
As soon as he put the phone down, he went straight for her breasts. He pulled them out over her bra like he liked them and sucked them hungrily. She reached for his tie and began to pull it loose. Then she reached for his belt and undid his slacks. Within moments, he was inside of her. He pushed her legs back, opening them wider, and she heard her skirt rip. She began to moan louder. He leaned down and pushed his tongue into her mouth.
“I love you, baby, I love you,” he panted as he licked her down her neck and went back to her left nipple. He sucked harder and stiffened. “Ahhhhh, baby. Aaaaahhhhhh.” She smiled and kissed his nose.
“That was good, baby,” she said.
He got up slowly. “Yes, it was.” He pulled his boxers and pants up. “It’s not even noon and you’re here taking off your clothes in my office, what gives?”
She sat up, put her breasts back into the cups, and stood. She looked at the papers they’d crumpled and messed up on his desk. “First, I hope those papers wasn’t important.” She picked up her panties and stuffed them into her purse, adjusted her ripped skirt, and began to button her blouse.
“No, I can reprint them. Again, what brings you by, gorgeous? I know you have plenty of fan mail this morning.”
“Yes, but that’s not why I’m here. I got a gift this morning from Mr. Green.”
He arched one eyebrow. “Okay, what was it?”
“A check,” she said.
“Oh yeah? For how much?”
“The tune of forty-five million dollars.”
Kory blinked. “Excuse me?”
“Forty. Five. Million.” She said the words slowly and handed him the check.
“What the hell?”
“I tried to give it back, but he wouldn’t take it. He refused to take it back. He told me I could donate it to charity if I wanted, but he wasn’t going to take it back. And he wrote Tressa off last night.”
“This is Tressa’s inheritance, Tiff. Her inheritance was forty-five million dollars. The man just gave you his daughter’s inheritance.”
“Are you serious?”
“Yes!”
“So what should I do first?”
“Head to the bank,” he said.
She smiled. “I guess I will.”
Epilogue
Boy Crazy premiered shortly after, and Tiffany and Kory arrived in style to the red carpet event for the show. After Tiffany gave her speech she tried to find Kory, but she ran into one of the last people she wanted to see.
“Tiffany, you look amazing,” Colby said.
Tiffany couldn’t believe he actually showed his face, or that he had the nerve to say two words to her. “You’re joking, right?” she asked. She wondered where Kory was because she needed backup. She was going to slap the shit out of Colby.
“Listen, I tried to warn you, but you wouldn’t talk to me. I couldn’t just leave you a voicemail or text you something so horrible.”
“Nope, all you had to tell me was the truth when I asked you in your kitchen, Colby. Before I shared my body with you. Before you recorded me doing something that I thought was special for you. But no harm done. As you can see, it all worked out in my favor. So turn your punk ass around and get the hell outta here!” She saw Kory approaching.
“Listen, Tiffany, I’m so sorry,” Colby said.
Kory stepped up. “The lady asked you nicely,” he said.
“Oh, you,” Colby said and smirked. “Tiffany, tell your li’l boyfriend to fall back.”
“You know what, nigga!” Kory drew back and punched him in his face.
Colby went down. He tried to come back, but security was there.
“Miss Richardson, are you okay?” one of the officers asked.
“I’m fine. Please show Mr. Grant to the door,” she said.
“This ain’t over,” he said, wiping the blood from the corner of his lip.
“It doesn’t have to be, Colby, just say where!” Kory flexed.
They watched as the security guys forcefully took Colby to the door and made sure he left the premises.
“Nice shot,” Tiffany said to Kory.
He straightened his jacket. “I’ve wanted to do that for months.”
“I know. Thanks for coming to my rescue.” She gave him a gentle kiss. They went back to the party and danced the rest of the night away. After Boy Crazy aired the show quickly rose in rank and Tiffany went from being executive producer of one show to producing four more hit shows on the network.
All was good, and life was good for Tiffany and Kory, but Tressa still manage to stir up trouble when she could. When word got to her about Tiffany receiving her inheritance, she swore that she’d find a way to make her pay. She vowed she’d do whatever it took to make sure Tiffany lived as miserably as she would without Kory, her father, and her money.
