Jess had an image of a log cabin in her mind and burst out laughing when they landed and she saw his idea of a wood cabin. Greg helped Aiden carry their bags inside, then bid them good-bye. They watched as he took off and circled the house.
The cabin was set on a slope and single story as they walked to it. She could see it then became two floors at the front. Yes, it was partly made of logs but that’s where the similarity of a log cabin disappeared. Inside was breathtaking, the entire front of the house was all glass. High vaulted ceilings, wood-panelled walls. A huge chef’s kitchen with a long wooden table and chairs. There were immense wood fires in every room. The two bedrooms were light and airy with a bathroom between them. A vast open area was filled with what looked like very comfortable couches. Then he told her on the top level was the master bedroom. It had its own bathroom and another fireplace. Jessica loved it.
“Do you like it, Mrs. Dowling?”
She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him before telling him she loved it.
“Just as well, because I bought it for you.”
“What?”
“Remember when I wanted to buy you something for your birthday last month and you said you didn’t want anything?”
“Yes. I didn’t want anything because I have everything I could ever want with you. If I remember rightly I made you promise you wouldn’t buy me anything.”
“Well, now you have another house.”
She could only laugh then kiss him non-stop as she tried to thank him.
“Come on, Mrs. Dowling, we need to check the bedroom. Up you go.”
Jessica went upstairs while Aiden went back down and picked up their bags. He brought them upstairs and found Jessica on the covered deck. She’d opened the sliding glass doors, switched on the lights in the bedroom, and was admiring the view. There was a spa beside her on the deck. Aiden came up behind her, having taken off his coat, tie, and vest.
“Have I told you how beautiful you look in that dress?”
“Mm, I believe you may have mentioned it a few hundred times.”
He laughed at her.
“It really is beautiful, Jess, almost as beautiful as you.”
She laid her head against him.
“But it has to come off.”
She giggled at his words. “You’ll have to help me. Jeannie took ages to lace it all up.”
He turned her around and she felt his warm breath on her neck as he leant forward and ran a line of kisses from her nape to the top of the dress. His hands fumbled at the ribbon lace that held the corset together. Slowly he undid the laces, and she felt the dress begin to fall from her breasts. He held her hand as she stepped from it.
Underneath, she wore no brassiere, just tiny panties and white stockings held up by their own lacy tops. She had cream stilettos on. She heard Aiden draw his breath as she turned to him and stood before him.
“Jess,” he moaned breathlessly.
She stood waiting.
He picked up her wedding dress and took it inside the bedroom. Jess was nervous. She had his wedding gift in her bag. He came back to stand in front of her.
“Remove your panties. Nothing else.”
She did as she was told.
“Stand there. No speaking.”
“Sir, I need to say something.”
He looked at her in surprise but nodded his head.
“In my bag there is a present for you. When you open the case, it is wrapped in gold paper.”
“You want me to open it now?”
“Please, Sir.”
She held her breath. He would know as soon as he saw it.
Chapter Twenty-Three
Aiden walked away, picked up her bag and remove the gift. He returned to her with the tiny parcel. Puzzled, he cocked his head as he looked at her then it. Carefully, he removed the paper. Inside was a black satin blindfold. He gasped and looked at Jessie as he felt his eyes fill with tears.
“Are you sure Jess? Really sure?”
“Yes. Yes, I am,” she replied proudly.
Aiden was overwhelmed. This was the ultimate gift that she could have ever given him—her absolute trust. He stepped past her and looked out onto the forest. He needed to compose himself. This was the last thing he ever expected her to do. He felt a hand on his arm. He covered it with his own, she laid her head over it.
He cleared his throat. “Jess.” His voice squeaked, and he tried again. “Jess, this is the most wonderful gift.”
He turned and looked down at her. “I promise to never, never break your trust.”
“I know you won’t.”
“I love you.”
“And I love you.”
He gruffly said, “I believe you were supposed to be standing still.”
She gave him the sweetest grin and his heart turned over. He pushed the blindfold into his pocket.
“I guess you’ll have to punish me, Sir.”
“Damn cheeky sub!”
She wouldn’t take the smile off her face. Aiden smothered another grin with his hand and went to his bag. He’d pack a few things himself. He pulled out the stainless steel ellipse cross cuffs he’d bought a few days ago and removed the padlock. Walking back to Jessie, he ordered her to put her arms out.
Carefully, he crossed her wrists, put the cuffs across them, then clipped the padlock on. She looked down at them, then up at him. That damn grin was still on her face. Going back to the bed, he took off his shoes and socks and then his shirt. He liked wearing his trousers whenever he had her naked. The feel of his cock against the material just added to the excitement.
He stood and walked back onto the deck. He switched on the spa. Greg had turned on the heater when he stocked the place early in the morning. Aiden then turned back to Jess.
He ran a hand across her stomach then continued walking around her, his hand trailing across her skin as he moved. He stopped at her side and whispered in her ear.
“Legs apart.”
She quickly spread them. He continued until he was back in front of her. Taking a step back he looked at her. Damn, she was fine!
The collar around her neck and with her hands cuffed in front of her, naked with just those sexy stockings and heels on. Hanging down her back was the braid she wore for him, just perfect for controlling her.
He gave it a tug, held it, and she bent her head back. He captured her lips, biting the bottom one. Then he kissed her. She opened her lips slightly, inviting his tongue in. He pushed it into her mouth, wrapping and caressing hers with it. Aiden felt his cock getting harder. He broke the kiss, then pulled the blindfold out of his pocket.
Letting go of her hair, he walked to the front of her. He waited until he had her full attention, then held it out.
“You will use your safe word if you are worried. I will be watching you the whole time. Even if you don’t use it, if I think you should have used it or if I decide, I will call a halt to this and remove it. Understand?”
“Yes, Sir.”
“Before I tie it on, are you absolutely sure? I know exactly what it represents to you, Jess. I’m quite happy to throw it off this deck right this minute. We don’t need it.”
“I’m sure.” She looked at Aiden earnestly. “I need to do this, Aiden. I’ve conquered all my other fears. I want this.”
Aiden knew how hard that must be for her. Throughout their relationship, he’d always been mindful of the abuse she’d suffered and kept a close watch on her when they played. Now, tonight, he would be watching her like a hawk.
“Very well.”
He stood behind her and kissed her neck, then lowered the blindfold over her eyes, tying it tightly behind her head. He felt her body give a little shake and heard the quick intake of breath. Aiden moved to the front of her and looked carefully at her face, then gave himself a satisfied nod.
What should he do?
If she wasn’t so fearful, he would use his flogger to caress her body, but he knew that the bastard had hit her when she was bli
ndfolded. Instead he would just let her stand, wondering what he would do. And he would do—nothing.
Aiden pulled over a chair and set it a foot in front of her. He sat down.
There was a breeze blowing, but it was a warm breeze so Jess wouldn’t be cold. All that could be heard was the wind rustling through the trees, the pump on the spa and the sound of the water bubbling in it. The light from the bedroom spilt out onto the deck, but he switched on a small light near the spa. It reflected on her face and body, giving him ample light to keep watch on her.
Ten minutes passed.
She was beginning to sway slightly, he saw her tilt her head a few times as if trying to hear him breathing or moving. He waited silently.
Aiden rubbed his hand across his crotch, his cock painfully rubbing against the trouser fabric. He toyed with stripping off, but decided if Jess could handle being uncomfortable, so could he.
He waited.
More time passed. He saw her flaring her nostrils, her breathing increasing. She was biting her bottom lip. He looked down at her hands, they were clenching and unclenching. He noticed a tiny bead of sweat on her face. Time to call a halt. She’d had enough.
He stood and ripped the blindfold off her. She looked at him wildly, unseeing. He picked her up and carried her inside, sitting her on the bed.
“You should have used your safe word, little one,” he whispered.
Digging the key from his pocket, he unlocked the cuffs and took her hands out. With infinite care, he removed her shoes and stockings. He quickly checked the spa. The water was hot.
Coming back inside, he took some towels from the bathroom and set them near the spa on the chair he’d used. Quickly he took off his trousers, then went back for Jess. She was still sitting on the edge of the bed, and she looked completely out of it, far into sub-space. He managed to pile her plait on top of her head and secure it like she’d taught him. He gathered her in his arms and went to the spa. Carefully climbing in, he lowered them both into the warm water.
With her cradled in his arms, he held her safe and warm.
Lying, his head back against the side of the spa, he relaxed as much as he could while holding his precious bundle. Aiden was so proud of her. She’d endured such horror for him. At first he was a little angry that she hadn’t used her safe word, but when he’d seen how she was, he realised she was beyond using it. He talked to her, telling her how proud he was. That he loved her more than life itself. He ran his hand across her cheeks, kissed her head, her neck, her eyes.
It was comfortable lying in the warm spa, its swirling water soothing. He saw she’d gone to sleep and smiled to himself as he heard her little soft snores. He could easily sleep himself. It was late, almost midnight. Somehow, he managed to get out of the spa and not drop Jess into the water. He bent forward and grabbed a towel then carried her inside. She opened her eyes sleepily. He stood her beside the bed and dried her off, then tucked her under the blanket.
Yawning, he went back onto the deck and switched off the spa and the light. He picked up his trousers and the towel that he’d left there, then walked back inside. He rubbed his hand through his hair and went downstairs to lock up. Wearily, he climbed back upstairs and climbed into bed alongside his wife.
His wife, he thought. Never thought this day would come and now she was his for the whole world to know.
Aiden settled down under the blankets. Jess opened one eye and wriggled closer to him before going back to sleep. It wasn’t long before Aiden joined her.
* * * *
Jessica woke before Aiden. She got out of bed and used the bathroom. Carefully, so as not to wake him, she pulled out a pair of jeans, undies and a T-shirt and quickly dressed after using the bathroom and cleaning her teeth. She padded down the stairs and stood in front of the big glass windows that looked out over the valley.
She walked into the kitchen and investigated. There was enough food for a small army. Jessica found coffee and made herself a cup, then walked over to the side of the house and looked out. The deck at the front wrapped around, so she quietly unlocked the glass door and slid it open. She stepped out onto the wooden deck. It was colder than she’d anticipated, but she stayed.
With the coffee warming her hands she looked about. Across where the helicopter had landed, she could see something move. She held her breath and waited. Warily, a deer walked out from the forest and began to eat. It was magical. She stayed as still as possible while she watched it for about five minutes.
A bird let out a loud shriek that scared the deer and it vanished back into the trees. She finished her coffee, then reluctantly went back inside. She heard water and knew Aiden must be awake so she went back upstairs. He was just pulling on a pair of jeans.
“Good morning, Mrs. Dowling.”
“Hi, Mr. Dowling.”
He sat on the bed and held out his hand.
“Come here.”
When she touched his hand, he pulled her onto his lap.
“Can we talk about last night?”
“Our wedding? Of course, it was wonderful.”
“Don’t be smart, little one, you know very well what I meant.”
She looked at him soberly.
“Tell me, my Jessie. I have to know, it’s the only way we can understand each other.”
She nodded. “I was okay at first. Then…” She exhaled loudly. “Then I started remembering what used to happen when I wore a blindfold. I thought you would hit me. I couldn’t hear you. I knew you wouldn’t do anything to hurt me, but I think I panicked.”
“Sweetheart, you should have used your safe word.”
“I didn’t want to.” She looked down at her hands, at his arms around her, then back into his face. “Aiden, I needed to do it. I needed to get past it. Do you understand?”
“I think I do. But I don’t know that we should ever do it again.”
“I want to. I think I’ve faced the fear and now I think next time it will be okay.”
“I’m not as sure, Jessie.”
She could hear the concern, the worry in his voice.
“I am. How can I explain it all?”
Jessica thought for a while, Aiden waited patiently. He never rushed her, he let her take all the time she needed. She thought back to that first night when he’d come to her house and held her for hour after hour, waiting. She remembered he told her that a true Dom negotiates. A true Dom does what makes his sub happy. She smiled to herself. He’d told her then “if she was happy, he was happy.”
Well, she was happy, and in fact she was blissfully happy. She looked into his face.
“When I first learnt about Doms and subs, even though everything I was told was so wrong, I enjoyed it at first. Once I left Dennis, part of me missed those early days.”
She felt Aiden’s arms tighten around her as she continued. “I purposely only dated dull vanilla types, but all the time I secretly craved the one thing that was missing. I craved being dominated, being mastered. I still believed that Doms were the ones with all the power, that’s why I never risked dating stronger men. Then I met you. From the moment I saw you, I knew. I knew you were a Dom.”
She took another deep breath.
“I craved you. I craved your mastery. I wanted you, but was terrified.
“You taught me what a true Dom is. You showed me true trust, honour, integrity. You helped me face my fears. All those horrible things I’d hidden away, even from myself. You made me look at them and helped me to throw them all away.”
Jessica put her hand to her throat. “Remember the day you put this collar around my neck?”
“As if it were yesterday.”
“You were angry that day.”
He snorted softly. “Furious would be a better word.”
She grinned and nodded.
“Yet you proved to me that day that you would never hurt me. Even when we made love and you took me in the butt.” She giggled. “Even then, you were tender, worried you’re hurt me.”

p; “What I’m trying to say with all this is that I trust you. I’ve given myself to you wholly. I know you will never hurt me and so I want to use the blindfold again. I want you to show me that you’re my master, that you make me happy. That you can give me all I desire.”
Aiden pulled her tight against him.
“Oh, my Jess. I love you so much.”
He kissed her and she kissed him back. Then he pushed her away.
“Strip and on your knees. Your master wants to fuck you.”
“Yes, Sir,” she said, her eyes filled with joy as he stood, pulled off the belt holding up his jeans and looked down at her.
“I believe I have a craving to master.”
