The Omega's Physician (Bundle of Joy Series Book 1) Page 7

by Kenna Grace

Lachlan peeked his eyes up at me and took my words as motivation to bring me over the edge. His lips gripped along my shaft as he deep throated my cock, alternating the pressure of his tongue along its underside.

Throwing my head back, my cock started to throb in his mouth. My vision started to blur at the intense pleasure of my erupting orgasm. Ribbons of cum shot deep into his throat and he swallowed every drop of it. With each spurt of cum, my orgasm intensified and my sac pulled up against my body. I reached out a hand and placed it on Lachlan’s shoulder to steady myself from falling from what seemed like a moment of never-ending bliss.

As my orgasm finished, he slid my cock back out of his throat and licked his lips. Despite having just come, I was nowhere near finished with him. He leaned back onto the bed and I stepped in between his legs. He held his arms out to the side as he watched me unbuckle his pants. With the clasp undone I hooked a finger inside his pants. Lachlan arched his back as I pulled them off with one fluid motion. I tossed the clothing onto the floor next to us.

Lachlan looked back down between my legs, amazed that my cock was already hard again. Crawling up onto the bed between his legs, I leaned over his body and bent down towards his face. Before I could make it all the way, he brought his head up, meeting my lips with his own. As our lips poured out passion our tongues danced against each other.

Reaching between our bodies, I grabbed both our cocks into the palm of my hand and pressed them together. His hips buckled up as we thrusted into my hand. Lachlan pulled away from our kiss, his ravenous eyes gazing into mine as he purred into my ear. “I need you inside me.”

I shot him a smile, eager to please his demand. Lachlan reached over to the nightstand on the side of the bed and opened the drawer. He reached his hand in and pulled out a condom and a small bottle of lube and passed them to me.

Repositioning myself on my knees and in between his legs, I ripped the top of the gold package and pulled the condom out, tossing the wrapper onto the floor. With one hand, I pinched the top of it and rolled it down my shaft with the other. Lachlan watched eagerly as I opened the bottle of lube and squirted a generous dollop of it onto the tip of the condom.

I grabbed the base of my cock and guided it towards his asshole, pressing it firmly against his entrance. He let out a throaty moan as I pressed the tip inside of him. Taking my time, I pressed my weight into him, allowing his tight ring to adjust to my girth. It only took a few moments until the length of my cock filled him.

Moving slowly at first, I slid myself in and out of him. His hands gripped the blanket beneath him and bundled it into his fists. “Oh, fuck,” he moaned as I picked up the pace. His face contorted into a mixture of pleasure and pain, but his moans were all pleasure. “Harder,” he beckoned as he pulled himself towards me to match my rhythm.

With each thrust I plunged myself into him harder. With each thrust his moans grew wilder. “Don’t stop,” he begged. He reached down between his legs and gripped his cock, thrusting it into his hand as my weight slammed against his body. Suddenly, his hips stopped rocking to match my rhythm and his body tensed as a load of cum shot from his cock and onto his chest.

He released his grip from the blanket and I allowed my cock to slide out of him. Moving onto his knees, he gave me a quick kiss before turning around to let me take him from behind. He leaned down on his chest and raised his ass into the air. I took a moment to admire the new view before sliding in closer to him and allowing the head of my cock to glide into him. Before I could even press my weight into him, he rocked his hips back, taking in my entire length. He moaned hard and extended his arms out in front of him, balling the blanket into his fists.

I wrapped my hands around his waist and pulled my body into him. I could feel my orgasm building again and from Lachlan’s cries of pleasure, I knew his was as well. My body rocked into him a few more times before he called out, “I’m going to cum.”

His ring tightened around my cock as he started to orgasm. Watching his body buckle under the pleasure was what drove me over the edge. My heart pounded against my chest as my sac tugged up against my body and the most intense orgasm of my life rocked through me. I let out a loud groan as his pulsating ring milked my cock until every drop of cum was expelled.

I pulled out of Lachlan, making sure to grip the condom at the base as I did, still trying to catch my breath. “Oh, fuck,” I gasped, looking down at my cock.

“What is it?” he asked, in between his own heavy pants. He rolled onto his back and scooted up the bed before throwing an arm behind his head to relax.

“The condom broke.” I felt a chill run down my spine and tingling in my face. This had never happened to me before. I rolled the broken condom off and tossed it in the trash can next to the bed. “Is it safe? I mean, are you on any contraception?”

“No, but it should be fine.” He reached down to his jeans on the floor and pulled his phone from the pocket and tapped a few buttons. “Forgot I deleted that.” He put the phone down on the nightstand next to the bed.

My eyebrows lowered in reflex. “Deleted what?”

Lachlan looked a little surprised. “Oh, just an application to track my fertile time.”

“Why would you be tracking your fertile time?”

He scratched his head. “I, uhh, it’s an omega thing. But, yeah, we should be fine. I have a few more days still.”

I licked my lips. “Oh. Alright, great.” That was a relief. I took a seat on the bed and laid down on my back next to him. I thought it was strange that he was keeping track of his fertility time, but I didn’t bother to press it. Lachlan scooted over and nestled his head on my shoulder and lobbed an arm over my chest to rub his fingers along my forearm.

He laid in my arms, his head slowly bobbing up and down with each of my breaths. The room was quiet except for his warm breath. It couldn’t have been more than a few minutes later when his inhales became sharper and his exhales deeper. His warm breath turned into a gentle snore that lulled me in relation. I blinked my heavy eyelids a few more times before allowing them to shut completely and drifting off to sleep.

I woke what felt only a few minutes later, but was shocked when I leaned up a little to see the alarm clock was showing that it was a little past six in the morning. I blinked my eyelids a few times to adjust my vision to make sure it wasn’t just my eyes playing tricks on me. But no, it really was six.

Lachlan was still fast asleep, his head resting on my shoulder. He stirred lightly in his sleep as I laid my head back down, but he didn’t wake up. He looked so peaceful and I couldn’t help but smile down at him.

His warm breath still washed down my body and he felt perfect in my arms. I hadn’t been this happy with anyone before and it started to freak me out. Suddenly, images of my fathers and their failed marriage filled my head. Memories of the crying when my omega dad Henry found out Jim, my alpha dad, had been cheating on him. The messy divorce between them leading to my alpha dad spending all his time chasing tail, while my omega dad was heartbroken and withdrew into himself.

I wanted to tell him I was starting to fall for him and that was what scared me the most. I didn’t want to put myself or him into that position. I wanted to tell him I was falling for him, but I needed to leave to protect myself.

Careful not to wake him, I took his arm that was laying across my chest and gently placed it along the bed next to him. I shifted my weight and placed a hand under his head so it wouldn’t drop, and slid my body from underneath him while laying his head down on the pillow. Standing up, I looked down at him to make sure he wasn’t going to wake up. When I was sure he wouldn’t, I put my clothes back on.

I debated leaving a note, letting him know why I was leaving, but I decided against it. What would I even say? Quietly, I made my way out of the bedroom and towards the front door. I thought I was doing the right thing, so why did it feel so wrong? Standing by the front door, I thought about going back into bed and laying back down next to Lachlan and forgetting al
l this happened. But I didn’t. I opened the door and walked to my car to head home. Each step was more painful than the next.

  Lachlan

I woke up with a yawn and fluttered my eyelids a few times until they adjusted to the light in the room. Last night was still fresh in my mind and I rolled over to my other side to see Donovan. Only, he wasn’t there. My heart started to race and I felt a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. I sat up quickly and looked at the alarm clock on the nightstand. It was a quarter to nine.

Rolling onto my back, I looked up at the ceiling trying to remember if Donovan had told me he was leaving this morning. If he had woken up and told me he had to leave, I wouldn’t recall it in my half-asleep state. But, why would he have gone?

I got out of bed and put on a change of clothes. Maybe he was just downstairs getting some breakfast? Heading out of the bedroom and towards the kitchen, I called out his name a few times, hoping for a reply.

The kitchen was empty and so was the living room. I scratched my head, feeling a little puzzled. I didn’t think he would just leave, without saying anything, I mean, we had a great night. Going back into the kitchen, I checked the fridge door, thinking that he could have left a note. When I saw there wasn’t one, I went back to the bedroom and checked the nightstand and dresser. Nope, still nothing. I was starting to feel really confused now. Maybe he went to the store?

I decided to take a shower and wait it out. Hopefully, he’d be back by the time I was finished. But Donovan still hadn’t returned when I was dressed and I was starting to get really nervous. Concerned, I grabbed my phone from the nightstand. When I noticed he hadn’t texted me, I decided to send him one. I let him know that I had a great night, but was surprised that I hadn’t seen him this morning and asked him to let me know if he was alright.

Besides Donovan’s absence, it seemed like a beautiful day. The sun was shining and despite a cool breeze, it was supposed to be warm enough that a sweater would suffice outside. I figured sitting around and worrying about Donovan wouldn’t help with anything besides making me feel sick, so I decided to go about my day. Surely, Donovan would get my text and let me know what was going on. I was probably just overreacting and he probably just got called in for a work emergency. I mean, he received that call a few days ago to come in for an emergency, so it wasn’t like it would be out of the question for it to have happened again late last night or early this morning. And if he did, he probably would just let me sleep.

I tried to put my nerves at bay, but I couldn’t help but think that I did something wrong or something happened. Regardless, there was nothing I could do now besides wait for a message from Donovan with an explanation.

The rest of the day went by normally. I enjoyed breakfast and went for a walk around the block. When he still hadn’t messaged me back yet, I decided to do some errands to try and get him off my mind. I did some groceries and some light house cleaning. I tried my best not to think of Donovan, but I caught myself on more than a few occasions checking my phone every few minutes hoping to have heard back from him. But still, there was no reply.

Assuming the worst, I drove by his place and knocked on the door. There was no answer. I even went as far as to call his office. Still, no answer and no reply. I began thinking the worst. Maybe he got in an accident? Not likely, but plausible. Still, that wouldn’t have explained why he just disappeared this morning. Then, something crossed my mind that tugged at my heart and left a hole in my stomach. What if he was avoiding me?

Quickly, I pushed the thought from my mind. Donovan wasn’t an alpha-hole like the rest, right? I mean, I’d have liked to think I got to know him pretty well and he didn’t seem like the type. I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt for a little while longer.

Dinner passed and it wasn’t much longer until I found myself lying back in bed. I glanced over at the alarm clock. It was nearly ten at night and I still hadn’t heard back from him yet. Now, I was more upset than worried. The creeping thought of Donovan being nothing more than a manipulative alpha-hole crossed my mind again. Only this time, I couldn’t disregard the suspicion.

I took my phone from the nightstand and clicked on his name to show our messages. I figured I’d send him one last message and give him one last chance. “Donovan. This is the last message I’m going to send. I don’t know what’s going on, but I don’t like it and its unfair to the both of us that you just disappeared without saying a word. Message me back. What’s going on?” I read it a few times before I finally sent it. Finally, I clicked send and waited for the delivered receipt. Staring at the screen for a few minutes, I re-read some of our old messages. I was hoping the three little bubbles would pop up indicating he was replying, but nothing.

Putting the phone back down on the nightstand, I laid down on my back and stared up at the ceiling, hoping I’d hear a chime from my phone. A message from Donovan. Anything. My eyes started to get heavy and I let them shut as I replayed every moment from the time I met Donovan over and over again in my head. Somehow, I managed to fall asleep even with all this on my mind.

The next morning, I woke up early from the buzzing of my alarm clock. It was a workday, so I needed to be up before seven, but I probably would have woken up early even if I had the day off. Just to see if Donovan had replied yet.

Almost instinctively, I reached my hand over and shut the alarm off before grabbing my phone. I took a few deep breaths before pressing the wake button. After a few moments, no longer able to resist, but dreading the possibility he might not have texted me back, I clicked it. Still nothing. I let out a hard exhale and I could feel my face start to burn with anger. The heat quickly spread through the rest of my body and I tossed my phone to the bottom of the bed.

I could feel a few tears start to build up, but I wiped them away. I wasn’t going to be sad. I refused to. I did nothing wrong. It was Donovan who was making me feel this way and I gave him every opportunity to make things right. All he needed to do was send me a simple text message and he couldn’t even do that. I at least deserved that.

Getting out of bed, I took a hot shower and got changed into my work clothes. I checked my phone a few more times, but I really wasn’t expecting a message back from him at this point. The drive to work seemed longer than usual. Probably because I couldn’t get Donovan out of my mind as hard as I tried. I mean, I knew it would hurt if things didn’t work out between the two of us, but I wasn’t expecting it to hurt this much. When Pat and I split, I didn’t even feel this bad. I felt sick to my stomach and heavy. Why was I feeling so strongly about this? I liked Donovan. A lot. But, I wasn’t in love with him, right? I mean, I had only known him ten or so days.

By the time I got to work I was still feeling sick to my stomach, but I knew it wasn’t a bug. It was knowing that things between Donovan and me were finished. I sat in the car for a few minutes to collect myself. As much as it hurt right now, I knew the feeling would eventually pass. I just needed to try and not brood over him and get him out of my mind. How could I have been this stupid to have trusted him? I guess it served me right though, I guess this was why they said not to mix business and pleasure. If I would have just kept everything between the two of us professional, none of this would have happened and I wouldn’t be sitting here right now trying to figure out where things went wrong when everything seemed so perfect.

I took a few more deep breaths and got out of the car. Making my way inside, I passed the secretary sitting by the front desk. I gave her a quick smile and continued on my way into my office, shutting the door behind me. I let out an exhale as I pressed my back against the closed door. This wasn’t going to be easy.

Taking a seat at my desk, I logged into my computer and checked my email, seeing what I had to do for today. My heart skipped a beat when I saw Donovan’s name in my inbox. It skipped another when I noticed it was from a potential client who was responding to the listing of his condo. I clicked the select button next to it and sent it to a folder I
labelled with Donovan’s name that included our past emails. It was only ten days, I reminded myself, I couldn’t be in love. So why did I find myself clicking through them all and reading our exchanges?

I needed to get him out of my head and there was no possible way I could do that when I was still the agent in charge of selling his condo. Gathering all his files from my desk and the storage locker next to it, I put them all in a manila envelope and marched out of my office towards Tanya’s cubicle.

“Tanya?” I said, trying to get her attention. She hadn’t realized I was standing above her. She turned around, with her eyes wide.

“Lachlan. You scared me, I didn’t notice you come in. What can I do for you?”

I put the envelope down on her desk. “Are you up to date with Donovan’s listing that I was working on?” I knew she would be, she was my assistant after all. It was her duty to keep up to date and try to assist in any way possible.

“Yeah.” She blinked her eyes a few times, clearly caught off guard with my lack of small talk. “What can I help with?”

I licked my lips and cleared my throat. Just saying his name, I could feel my heart start to race and the sinking feeling in my stomach return. “I’m going to need you to take over it for me. I have quite the caseload right now and need to lighten it a bit. Would you mind?”

“Uhh, no I wouldn’t mind. Not at all. I’d be happy to take over.”

I gave her a nod. “Perfect. As a thank you, I want you to keep the full commission.” I didn’t want Donovan’s money, I just wanted him out of my head and to have nothing more to do with him.

Her eyes beamed right up and a smile spread across her face. Her voice was a higher pitch now. “Are you sure? I mean thank you, but we can split the commission if you want? You did do all the work so far, it’s only fair.”

She was right, I had done all the work so far up to that point. Still, I wanted to separate myself from him completely. I didn’t need him. “Yeah, I’m sure. You make the sale and the commission is all yours. Consider it your first real chance to prove to yourself that you have what it takes to be a realtor here at the agency. I know you can do it.”
