Reading without understanding is nothing but a waste of time. Speed Reading should be done in a way that we can easily extract information, analyze them, and use effectively by using different memory learning methods.

Below chapter will give several training methods that will help you increase your reading speed.

  Training Methods for Speed Reading

In order to break away from the traditional reading method, the secret of entering the New World Super speed reading can be trained in four ways. The super speed-reading method enables many people to read 10 times faster than before or even 20 times faster. Through the preceding explanation, you must be able to fully understand this point. Moreover, you can read as fast as you can with training. In this section, we will introduce the training method of super-speed-reading step by step. In the preceding discussion, though touched upon a little, the outline of the training will again be shown.

The four types of training methods that will help you to increase your reading speed are the following.

  1 Concentration Training

Apply the breathing method of Zen and so on to keep the brain in a state of waves. At this point, because the mind is in a relaxed and focused state, the information from the outside can be most vividly imprinted in mind. On the other hand, the state of the wave is also the most appropriate for re-reacting information that has already been entered into the mind.

  2 Extended Vision Training

The aim is to grasp a whole page at a glance. Through the exercises, eye function expands the field of vision and can enhance the image and cognition power. As a by-product, this can also help us to treat Myopia, disorder, cataracts, and so on.

  3 Visual Perception Development Training

Turn method of reading text into just reading in your mind. When you read, the key is to refrain from the involuntary pronunciation of words in your mind.

4 Activation Training of Brain Function

Even if it is speed reading, the understanding of the content can reach the level of familiar reading and can Improve memory and judgment. Super speed-reading training can be divided into the above four categories. By learning to master these four exercises, you can also reach the speed-reading level of a chapter per minute. Next, we will explain each training in turn in detail.

This section describes different training methods that can help improve speed reading abilities of a person.

  Concentration Doubling Exercise

Before discussing, let us know a few important things about concentration. Speed reading began with Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. The reader may be a little perplexed by the sudden reference to Buddhism. But if there had been writing 2,500 years ago, Gautama Buddha might have pioneered speed reading. The power of concentration and intelligence processing of enlightened people is nearly infinite times to the ordinary people. Gautama Buddha can probably read faster than a million words a minute. However, these superhuman abilities cannot be possible for normal people like us. However, the existence of these supermen can also give us infinite courage. That is to say, in terms of speed reading alone, a person has the potential to read a thousand words per minute. The first key to its secret was to get focus by getting the brain to exhibit waves.

Since this book is about speed reading and memory training methods, the following sections will focus on how to use the concentration in speed reading. However, the method is not just for speed reading, as described above a series of facts; it can be applied to all areas of concentration.

That is to say, the training method described below is to make the brain waveform a wave state into the reading of the training.

  The training is divided into:

  (1) breathing method;

  (2) fixed-point Gaze,

  (3) viewpoint-moving Gaze and

  (4) vibrator gaze.

It's not directly related to speed reading, but it can be used as a simple way to focus your mind. By focusing your mind, there will be a tremendous increase in the number of words you can absorb per second.

  Dantian Inhalation Method

The most basic exercise of the super-speed-reading method is this breathing method. The human body, in order to maintain the ideal state of health, should maintain the organization of various departments in the inadvertent activities.

For example, once after the intake of food, gastrointestinal secretion of digestive juice, peristalsis, digestion will take place in sequential order. The heart is pumping organizer in our body and will beat continuously till we are alive. When we do exercises like the Dantian inhalation method heart will start beating fast and in turn, will supply more blood that contains fresh oxygen.

People might be quite unaware of this phenomenon when it happens. It works unconsciously and is called a self-regulating mechanism. Generally speaking, self-discipline cannot be regulated by will. That is, with regard to breathing, it is governed by both consciousness and unconsciousness. It is where there is an entrance to the world of self-immersion and the world of involuntary concentration.

From here, you understand more fully that breathing is closely related to one's mental state. The reason why the breathing method is widely adopted and applied in many fields related to the spiritual world, such as Zen, Yoga, self-discipline training method, etc. is due to this reason. Now we will describe the training method that needs to be followed.

  Training Method

  1) Sit upright in a chair, back straight; jaw closed, eyes closed. Relax the muscles of the whole body and take a stable position.

  2) Inhalation should be done by thin, long, static deep breathing which does not use the sound of rapid breathing. The mouth naturally closes, cheeks and lips relax, breathing in and out through the nose. It inhales at a rate of about 6 seconds for adults and twice that for 12 seconds for expirations. For the vital capacity small elementary school student and so on, inspiratory use 4-5 seconds, expiratory use 8-10 seconds. It feels quite slow compared to normal breathing, but after trying a few more times, the habit becomes natural.

  3) The average person breathes about 17 times per minute. Now if you do less than 4-5 times, this will make the autonomic nervous activation for physical and mental stability. After exhaling, you should think about the lower pubic region (, the lower pubic region is about 3 cm below the Navel) which takes 30% of the air inhaled.

  4) It is important to keep in mind that most of the air you have inhaled has been exhaled, while your stomach is inhaling fresh air. It is also important to learn to do this in a state of unconsciousness. The door of concentration cannot be opened because of the addition of nervous consciousness to the inhalation.

  Fixed Point Gaze Training Method

  1. Keep your eyes open and your mouth closed. The eye should clear away from the training diagram, that is about 30 ~ 40 centimeters.

2 Self-suggestion: "see black spots that are big and try to absorb black spots clearly."

  3. Stare at the big black spot on the training chart for two minutes. Try not to blink eyes. After practicing the ability to gaze without blinking, gradually reduce the black spots used in training.

  Viewpoint Movement

This is the movement of the moving eye, which represents moving the point of view correctly at the speed of a given distance. It requires a gentle movement, and no matter how the eyes move, the concentration of the mind should not be relaxed. Through this training, the eye can be allowed to move correctly at a certain speed and keep a close eye on the object as the point of view. That's why this training is especially useful for sports, especially baseball, table tennis, and tennis, which need to keep track of fast-moving balls.

The upper and lower rectus muscles of the inner eye control eye movement. The viewpoint moves the law and can exercise these two parts of muscles. In our daily lives, it is rare for our eyes to move quickly and continuously. However, in super-speed reading, it is necessary for the eyes to move correctly and quickly. Therefore, if the training is not carried out adequately, the upper
and lower rectus muscles are prone to fatigue, and the eyes will become sluggish. On the other hand, the same situation arises if the training substantially exceeds the training time described here.

  Training Method

  1) The posture is the same as the breathing condition of the Dantian. Sit Up Straight and inhale.

  2) Open your eyes slightly and face the unfolding training diagram. The distance between the training drawing and the eye should be 30-40 cm.

  3) Move the view of your eyes slowly up and down the line. The viewpoint between the black spot moves at a speed of about 5 seconds. Once we reach the next black spot, stop moving from the present viewpoint, and look for about 1 second. Focus on the black spot while using the technique of fixed-point gaze. Focus on the black spot carefully and try not to blink.

  4) Self-suggestion: "Look at the line of the black spot and see clearly. "

  5) The viewpoint should move up and down while looking at the training diagram. Remember that the training time is about 2 minutes.

  Oscillator Training

The oscillator training method is also called Sivelle experiment method. It was invented in the 19th century by an Australian chemist named Sivelle. This is not a direct exercise in super-speed reading, but it is the best way to focus your mind and make your brain on a wave when you are on edge. It makes you feel fresh, gives you a solid sense of power, and has great benefits for speed reading from the experiments conducted, so give it a try.

  Training Method

  1) Using a button, tie a piece of string about 20 cm in the hole. Lay the training chart flat on the table. Tie One end of the string to your left finger and hang the button above the intersection in the middle of the diagram below. The buttons are kept about 5 cm apart from the picture.

  2) Turn the viewpoint toward the button, then slowly move the viewpoint to the left and right. Say to yourself, "turn the button to the right and then to the left... " as soon as the button moves a little bit.

  3) When the button is turned left or right, follow the same procedure to turn it back and forth. Then hint to move it diagonally around. The hand that is tied to the rope is always just holding the rope. In practice, however, the search still involves unconscious micro-movements.

  4) The button, as described above, should be moved in all directions that are left and right, front and back, diagonal, circle, etc. after the natural concentration of the spirit. This training also should cooperate Dantian breathing method to carry on to be just more effective.

  Extended Vision Training

This couple of training methods we explain now will help you increase your reading speed and motivate you to understand the content better while reading. Try to read and follow these training methods with attention.

  Viewpoint Left-Right Movement

  Training Method

  1) Sit with back straight and inhale through the abdomen. Dantian breathing method is carried out throughout the training.

  2) The distance between the Body and the training map is about 30 ~ 40 cm. Move the point of view quickly from left to right, over and over. The eye movement should be as light as possible. If you want, you can Practice for one minute. And after that, let the left and right movements of the viewpoint be repeated as quickly as possible.

  3) Due to the influence of the movement of the viewpoint, the face is also easy to move around. Try to keep your face as still as possible.

Upward and Downward Movement of the Viewpoint

As mentioned above, moving the viewpoint up and down is more difficult than moving left and right, so it needs to be fully trained.

  Training Method

  1) Sit with back straight and inhale through the abdomen. Dantian breathing method should be in tune with the exercise throughout the implementation.

  2) The bridge of the nose faces the center of the Training Diagram, and the distance from the training diagram should be about 30-40 cm. The top view moves swiftly from top to bottom, repeatedly. The eye movement is as light as possible. Practice for one minute. In this case, repeat the up and down motion of the viewpoint as quickly as possible.

  3) Do not be affected by the movement of the point of view and all the while the face should be kept as still as possible.

Moving the Viewpoint Up, Down, Left, and Right Diagonally

The following is a combination of left-right movement and up-and-down Retrograde Movement. With the addition of the slanted viewpoint training, be more mindful of making eye movements light and airy.

  Training Method

  1) Sit with back straight and inhale through the abdomen. During training, the Dantian breathing method is carried out from beginning to end. The bridge of the nose faces the center of the training map, and the distance from the training map is about 30 ~ 40 cm.

  2) Start at the top right of the training diagram and move the viewpoint up and down and diagonally as shown by the arrows. Make eye movements as light as possible

  3) Practice Time is one minute. In this case, repeat the view as quickly as possible.

  Viewpoint page linking

The trained viewpoint movement follows a continuous waveform from the right page to the left page. The appearance of the waveform curve is actually the basic motion form of viewpoint in speed reading. If you can read thousands to 10,000 words per minute, you can see the waveform shift, as demonstrated by the experiment described earlier.

  Training Method

  1) Sit with back straight and inhale through the abdomen. During the training, the Dantian inhalation is carried out all the time. The distance between the diagram and the training group is about 30-40 cm. The 3-view starts at the top right of the training diagram and moves with the wavy curve.

  2) Move Your eyes as lightly as possible. Do not move your face when the viewpoint is more than one page down. Practice Time is 1 minute. In the meantime, work as fast as you can.

The Method of Moving the Circle of Viewpoint

The last type of visual field enlargement training is the viewpoint Circular Movement. This training has both eye movement and liveliness and can eliminate the eye muscle fatigue tidying up the significance of the movement. So, this can be used in eye function training and the actual speed-reading training.

  Training Method

  1) Sit with back straight and inhale through the abdomen. During training, the Dantian breathing method is carried out from beginning to end.

  2) The bridge of the nose faces the center of the Training Diagram, and the distance from the training diagram should be about 30 ~ 40 cm. Start with the black dot at the top of the training diagram and follow the clockwise direction to move the viewpoint. The training period is 10 seconds. Here, the view should move as quickly as possible. And just next to it starting from the same black spot, move the viewpoint counterclockwise. Training time is 10 seconds again for the second step.

  3) Close Your eyes and let your mind wander. Still following the training method, close your eyes, and make a circular movement through the viewpoint. Let the training period be 10 seconds each.

Visual Enhancement Due to Speed Reading

As we have said, because of speed reading training, the treatment of astigmatism, Hyperopia, cataracts, and other eye diseases can be reduced. Among those who have mastered speed reading training, many have also seen their eyesight improve significantly. But that's just one of the advantages of speed-reading training. For the benefit of people with a strong desire to improve their eyesight, here are some examples of sight enhancement that are not included in speed reading training above. This training also has an indirect effect on speed reading. But it doesn't matter if you have good eyes.

  Training Method

  1) In a quiet room, sit on a bed or chair facing the wall in a settled position. The distance from the wall is about 2 ~ 3 meters. Attach a piece of paper with a black spot 1-2 cm in diameter to the wall. The position of the paper is slightly lower than the human eye.

  2) Breath as usual. If you have Glasses, use them as
usual and blink as little as possible. Look at the black spot. Focus your mind on the black spot. Practice for a minute or so at first, then gradually extend the time until you can gaze for 2-3 minutes. After doing the above training, rub the eyes with an effort, and then gently cover the palm of your hand on the eyelid, but do not rub the eyelid. Two or three times With Your Eyes Open, move your eyes up, down, left, right, and diagonally. Do each of it for 10 to 15 times.

3)When you're done with step 2 above, Blink your eyelids to make them cry. Tears can play a role in purification, sterilization, and washing out of foreign bodies. Do this exercise as often as you can every day.
