The Innocence Series: Complete Bundle Page 44

by Riley Knight

Just like that, their bodies were pressed together, Judah under Will, as Will trapped the beautiful young man down onto the desk. It was so easy, so natural, to line their hips up, to press their throbbing dicks together, and to grind down onto him. So wrong, so stupid, but his body knew just what it wanted and went after it greedily.

They kissed again, tongues and lips just a little bit sloppy as they writhed together. When had the last time been that he had acted so recklessly? That he had been so desperate to shove his cock against someone and just thrust, just rock together? This had never been more than foreplay for him before if it happened at all, and yet with Judah, he felt almost from the beginning like he could just start to come any time.

Judah kept uttering these soft, desperate little noises like they were drawn out of him almost against his will. Like he couldn’t help himself. And it was Will that was making him do it, Will that was rutting against Judah’s thick, eager cock, and even the layer of their clothing between them wasn’t enough to soften the sensation.

If anything, it just made it more intense, the slight itch, the friction, of two layers of clothing between their cocks adding something. Or was it just the desperation, the way that Will couldn’t resist Judah? Was that what was adding to the heat, making his cock and balls throb and harden and precome to coat the insides of his pants, making everything slip around?

Their lips met, parted, and then came together again, and Judah’s movements under him, the way that his hips thrust up and his erection ground against Will, sped up. Maybe he was corrupting this beautiful man, but Judah was hardly fighting it.

The more they moved, the darker Judah’s eyes got, the more his lips parted as if they could scoop in the air that he was rapidly moving through them. The more his face blurred with passion, the more his hands tightened until the grip was nearly painful on Will’s ass, and just when he thought that it was over, just when one more thrust would have been enough to send him over the edge …

… That was when his cell phone beeped at him, letting him know that he had a text. And he couldn’t ignore it, either, because it could be Stephen. So he groaned and forced himself away, taking one more look back at the man spread out on the desk, the man in the sober clothing of a minister, but with the front of those black pants stretched out with his erection.

He had never seen anything more blatantly pornographic in his life.

Forcing himself to focus, he took out his phone and glanced down at the screen. The text was from an unknown number, just a few words, but they didn’t make any sense to him at all.

I’m sorry. Call me if you want.

  SEVEN

It was all very confused in Judah’s head. One second, Will had been on top of him, rubbing down against him, and Judah dimly thought that he had never had any idea it could feel this good, and then, right when Judah had been about to tense up and release, Will was gone.

And not just gone off of Judah’s body, either. Actually completely gone, right out of the room, without so much as a look back. He was clutching his phone, and his face had gone very pale, and it just didn’t make even the slightest bit of sense to Judah.

Had he been doing it wrong? Doubtless, he had been wrapped up in his own selfish pleasure, so maybe he had driven Will away, although that didn’t explain the phone or the distracted look on Will’s face. More likely, it had nothing to do with him at all, but even knowing that didn’t get rid of the sick feeling in his soul.

He had given something that he should never have to Will, and he couldn’t deny that he would have been willing to give much more. Probably as much as Will could take, and though he might logically know that it was for the best that Will had left, he couldn’t make himself be happy about it.

He was distracted, unable to work on anything, because he was trying to focus on reading and scripture while staring right at the desk that, just the night before, Will had had him pinned down on. The desk where Will had almost made him come, which now seemed to be speaking as clear as day, talking about the forbidden pleasures which he had experienced.

The worst part was, Judah wanted to see Will again. He didn’t have Will’s number, or Stephen’s, didn’t even know where they lived, and that was probably for the best. If he had, he wasn’t sure that he would have been able to hold himself back.

But Will had been the one to leave. Will had been the one to stop it, right when Judah could have sworn that they were about to share their first orgasm. For Judah, it would have been the first time that he had ever come with another person, and he was almost sure that he and Will had been right on the brink of that when Will took off.

So he supposed that the ball was in Will’s court. Judah probably could have contacted someone, Sheila, maybe, and asked them to put him into contact with Will, but surely, if Will wanted to see him, he could make it happen? Will knew where to find Judah far better than Judah knew where to find him.

Deeply unsettled, Judah did what he had always done when he felt as shaken up as he did at the moment. He hopped into his car and headed off to the library. He could remember, even as a little kid, sneaking off to the local library, ensconcing himself in one of the comfortable armchairs scattered around and losing himself in another world.

That taste had never changed. Even through University, when most of the other people he knew were only going to the library to do their homework, he would spend hours there. Books had been friends to him far more than people had, and right at the moment, he thought he could use the distraction.

There was a nice, big library in Austin, Google informed him when he asked, and that was where he headed. The moment that the air-conditioned air and the scent of paper and ink closed around him, he knew that he had made the right choice. There was something so special about the scent of a library, something deeper and richer even than a bookstore, which he also loved.

He had never been to this library. In the month and a half that he had been in town, he had been too busy to take the time, but the strange magic of libraries was how they felt like home to him. He felt himself embraced, the cool air wrapping around him, and instantly, his shoulders unknotted, his body relaxed.

It was an older building but maintained beautifully, and it struck Judah as sort of sad that it was as empty as it was. There were a few old men scattered around, reading newspapers, and a few school-aged children, probably working on homework. But the tables alone could have accommodated many times the number of people, and the study kiosks were practically empty.

Well, more for him, he supposed, and he glanced around, reading the signs which labeled the various shelves and trying to figure out what he wanted to read this time. When it came to books, he had very little taste and would read anything, from old Westerns to the Classics to Horror and so on.

But he had his favorites, of course, and in his current mood, he felt a little bit self-indulgent. So when his gaze fell on the sign which read, in clear, crisp print, Science Fiction and Fantasy, that was where he headed.

Why hadn’t he taken the time to do this in so long? All of the greats were here, in paperback and hardcover, Heinlein, Asimov, Le Guin, Clark, Bradbury. And there were newer names, things that he had never read, with covers that seemed to reach out to him, to seduce him, to ensnare his senses.

Yes, these promised relief from the torment that Will had left when he went away. He smiled as he reached for one of the spinning display cases, twirling it to look at all the delights that it had to offer. He barely knew where to start, a delightful problem to have.

It almost seemed unfair when someone came into the section with him. It had been completely empty when he’d arrived, just like most of the rest of the library. He glanced up, hoping that whoever it was would stay away, but that hope was soon dashed.

  “Judah?”

It could have been anyone. Anyone from the town, where everyone knew his name despite him being such a new arrival. But it wasn’t just some curious random person. That voice, that smooth, velv
et, caramel voice, was one that he would have known anywhere.

How to deal with this? Judah’s complete lack of experience in all things both romantic and sexual was messing with him, and he just stared, drawn in by those eyes, just like he always seemed to be, just like he had been, from the very first moment that he had seen this man.

  “Will.”

His voice came out so softly because that was appropriate for a library. That was the only reason for it. That was the only reason that there could be, with how awkward things were between them.

Or how awkward they should be. Judah had been a little bit annoyed—it had to be said—when Will had just walked out, but all of that faded away in a moment as the gaze lingered between them. None of it seemed at all relevant, somehow.

  “What are you doing here?”

They both spoke at the same time, and Will let out a soft laugh that brought a reluctant grin to Judah’s lips. And it was even funnier, how they both waited after, for the other one to answer.

“I like libraries,” Judah finally admitted, because someone had to say something. He took a step closer, only because a library was a place to be quiet, and since they were speaking, it was better to do it close to Will so that only Will would hear. “What about you?”

“I have a thing for them,” Will countered, and he, too, took a step closer, the look in his eyes deep and reminded Judah quite sharply of being bent over the desk while Will’s mouth plundered his own. “There’s just something about …”

“Holding a paper book?” Judah ventured, and Will nodded, an amazed look on his face. Judah had just been going off of instinct, off of the feelings which he had always had himself, which apparently Will shared.

Not that it wasn’t a little bit strange, because it was, to see Will here. From the beginning, Will had given off some very serious, stuffy, almost snobby vibes, so to see him in this particular section of the library seemed a bit strange. Not unwelcome, but definitely bizarre.

“Yes. There’s something about holding a paper book, the texture, the scent …” With every word, Will cast his spell around Judah, ensnaring him more hopelessly than ever in his net. It was like Will could be taking the words right from Judah’s brain.

“Exactly,” Judah spoke fervently, just the one word, but he hoped that Will knew just how completely he meant it. He had always felt like a visitor from another time, in a way, because of his love of books, and only rarely did he find someone who shared that love.

“I wouldn’t expect you to be here,” Judah confessed, and he glanced down at Will’s hand, where he was clinging to a familiar old classic, one that Judah had read many, many times. “Do you usually read science fiction? Is that normal for a science teacher?”

At the very least, some of the creative license that they generally took in books like that had to seem amusing to someone who knew better. And honestly, Will had always come off so literal, almost humorless about it, so yes, it was definitely a surprise.

“Surprisingly, yes. I guess even high school teachers need some release sometimes.” There was a slight emphasis to the way that Will said that one word, release. Or was that just Judah’s own attraction speaking? The way that his own body, and now, his mind, too, thrilled and strained toward Will? “Some escape.”

Judah reached for him, and only at the last minute did he manage to stop himself, or at least redirect his hand toward the book which Will held. His fingers, just slightly, ever so lightly, brushed against Will’s, and he knew he was being desperate, but it was so hard to care.

“I understand,” Judah admitted, and it was then, with his fingers pressed against Will’s, that he realized that the other man was shaking. Just a little bit, no one would have known it to look at him, but it was there, it was happening.

It was okay, and Judah looked earnestly into Will’s eyes. Judah was shaking, too, just from being around this man who was slowly, but surely, worming his way into Judah’s heart. How was this possible? With how long Judah had kept himself closed off, kept himself from really feeling anything, how was Will doing this?

Will glanced down at Judah’s hand and then took a step closer so that their bodies were brushing. Judah could actually feel the heat radiating off of Will, could focus on nothing else, could so easily drown in Will’s eyes if he let himself, or maybe even if he didn’t.

“It’s strange that you’re here, too,” Will confessed, and it took Judah a second to make the words make any sense. He was becoming aroused, as shameful as it was, right here in the library, and he had already put himself forward far too much. He was going to make an idiot of himself, but Will didn’t show any inclination to make fun of him.

“Why?” Judah managed, swallowing to try to bring some moisture back into his mouth, his throat. Every second had Will pressing just a little bit more firmly against Judah, and he could swear that he, just for a second, when Will shifted in just the right way, had felt something hard jutting out from Will’s body.

“I didn’t know you were allowed to read this sort of thing, I suppose.” Will had a hint of wryness to his tone, almost like he was making fun of himself more than he was Judah, so Judah didn’t take offense.

“I’m not a prisoner. I can read what I want. Do what I want, mostly.” His fingers curled around Will’s, seeking out the smooth warmth of his palm, a secret, stolen little touch that no one else would have been able to see, even if anyone had been around. But no one was, they were blessedly, completely alone.

“Do what you want?” Will murmured, and there was a challenge in his words, in the tone of his voice, and most especially in his eyes. “Is there anything, in particular, you want to do right now, then?”

There was no way Judah was imagining this. Whatever had happened the night before, Will was here, now, and even someone who wasn’t exactly an expert in desire, even someone as generally clueless as Judah was, could apparently pick up on it when Will was hitting on him as blatantly as he was.

If there had been any doubt, it was banished when Will turned directly to face Judah, when their bodies were pressed flush against each other, Will’s hips rubbing against him. Then there couldn’t be any question about it, Will was hard, just as hard as Judah was.

“Will, are you teasing me?” The tone of his voice was far too plaintive, and he knew it, but he wasn’t sure he could take it if Will worked him up again and then left him hanging. It had even occurred to him that Will did it as a sort of game, and if so, it was a game that Judah wanted absolutely no part of.

“No.” Will’s eyes sparkled at him, “No, I’m not teasing you. Do you want me to prove it?”

More flirting. Even someone like Judah couldn’t mistake it for anything else. And not just light flirting, either, but something that meant something.

  “Here?”

Was he really, seriously considering this? It was, by far, the craziest thing that he had ever done. Even the night before, when he had ended up under Will, was nothing next to doing all of this in public. It was completely insane, so utterly out of his normal experience, and for some reason that made him ache and leak even more against his underwear.

He could tell that his question had taken Will by surprise a little bit, but the other man smirked suddenly and shoved his book recklessly onto a random shelf. That normally would have annoyed Judah, but he found that he didn’t care much, not when Will grabbed Judah’s hand and linked their fingers intimately together.

  “I’m game if you are.”

It had started off cautious, both of them feeling out the other to find out how they felt about it, because the whole idea was crazy. The more they each reached out, though, the more the other responded, and the less it stopped feeling quite as much like a joke as they had both sort of tried to play it off as at first.

To say that it was daring was an understatement. Judah certainly wasn’t known for his boldness, for doing crazy things, but when Will gave him that wicked little smile and tugged him deeper into the cool, dark depths
of the library, Judah felt something take hold of him, something that he hadn’t even known he had in him.

In seconds, he was pushed against the stacks, the edges of the shelf biting into his back, with Will trapping him right there. He heard himself groan, just very softly, as he pulled Will to him and pressed their lips hard, tightly, fervently together.

How far they would go here, he didn’t know. He didn’t care, either. Whatever happened would happen, and he already knew that he would welcome it. Their mouths opened, their lips parted, and their tongues tangled together as they pressed as close as they could to each other.

It didn’t stop there, either. Judah could hardly believe it when Will slid his hand down into the space between them, as small as it was, and he felt, for the first time, someone else’s fingers on his own rigid, aching length. It was too much, too good, and his hips shoved away from the shelves as he tried to get closer.

His pants were in the way, but not for long. Will took care of that, his amber eyes practically glowing in the low light as he lowered Judah’s zipper. His hand slipped inside Judah’s underwear, and Judah let out a noise which would have been a cry of pleasure as, for the very first time, he felt a hand on the bare, desperate skin of his cock.

In seconds, Will had it out, and there was hardly any hesitation at all. Will did glance at Judah, as though trying to read his face, like he was thoughtfully seeing if Judah had been pushed too far, but he hadn’t been. Apparently satisfied, Will suddenly went to his knees, and Judah just stared down at him.

He was so inexperienced it didn’t even occur to him that what happened next could happen at all. His knowledge of sex, particularly of gay sex, was only as complete as he had found in books. He had no personal experience at all, nothing to hang the words that he had read on.

Will actually shot him a wink, and then those full, teasing lips were pressed right against the swollen, slick, dark purple head of Judah’s cock. It was nothing more than a kiss, not at first. It was gentle and teasing, but even that slight friction was almost enough to have Judah coming.
