Kaiden wants a little information, and perhaps a little payback…
He has information on where an AO stronghold is located to retrieve vital proof needed to help get the council to believe the ghost-like organization exists.
But, can he get the support he needs to make a run on it?
Before long, it becomes obvious this isn't a small outpost. More like a major outpost with a lot of support.
Kaiden can't wing this operation. He has to start working out his relationships to acquire even a small chance of success. Sasha, Wolfson and Dr. Laurie are helping him... But he needs more.
He decides to recruit support from the gangs he knows. The good, the bad... and those he has pissed off. Will they welcome him with open arms, or smiles as they eye him through their weapons sights?
Will they at least be not-hostile? Or will his friends need to come and help back him up?
Will the AO find out that they are under attack in time to prepare?
This time, the Ark Academy elite are getting involved. This isn't a game... Anymore.

You don't become the best of the best by staying alive. In the Animus, you are closer to perfection with each death you suffer.
Kaiden Jericho would rather skip the death part, thank you very much.

Author Notes - Michael
June 16, 2019
THANK YOU for not only reading this story but these Author Notes as well.
(I think I’ve been good with always opening with “thank you.” If not, I need to edit the other Author Notes!)
RANDOM (sometimes) THOUGHTS?
What do you do when you haven’t known your talent for forty-seven years?
You find out that you are grateful you found it eventually.
I didn’t write and finish a book until 2015. Once I completed my first, I wrote two more (both over 60,000 words) in the next thirty days.
Then another in about three weeks.
Eventually, fans found my stories, and the rest is an amazing journey that still confuses me (in a good way) three and a half years later.
So much has changed in my world, and I owe it all to readers. Readers who read my books, my collaborators’ books, and those of authors from around the world I’ve never heard of, and yet we all simply desire to write a story others enjoy.
As a reader, I felt like the one receiving the gift, and never knew what it felt like to share my art and have others (readers) talk to me about how it made them feel.
If you read a story that moves you (to tears, to laughter, to joy, to anything that matters to you) remember that somewhere there is an author who appreciates you taking your time to read.
I sure do.
AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS
One of the interesting (at least to me) aspects of my life is the ability to work from anywhere and at any time. In the future, I hope to re-read my own Author Notes and remember my life as a diary entry.
Cave in the Sky(™) Las Vegas, Nevada
I had dinner this evening with my wife Judith, Mike Bray from Wolfpack Publishing, and Mark Abbot from Publisher’s Weekly. We ate Italian at Battista’s Hole in the Wall and enjoyed ourselves.
I’m fifty-one now. I’m officially in the “older fart” category because I simply enjoyed sitting there and talking.
I’m an introvert. Sitting and talking isn’t one of the top items on my list of fun things to do with other people.
Yet, we did.
I think I will enjoy this stage of my life.

Review them so others have your thoughts, and tell friends and the dogs of your enemies (because who wants to talk to enemies?) Enough said ;-)
