I giggled.
“You’re so fucking corny and I didn’t say yes, because you didn’t ask, you big bully.”
“Mmmm,” Carson groaned. I thought his laugh or the way he talked was sexy but this, damn. “I’ve got something big for you.”
“Really Carson?”
He chuckled,
“Sorry, you know I’m used to being a dick with you but now that you’re my girl, I gotta do better huh?”
I lightly laughed,
“even better.”
“Like how much better?” He asked.
“Like so, so much better,” I said.
“You’ve got your arm up in the air right now, don’t you? Trying to show me something I can’t even see.”
I rolled my eyes,
“I forget how well you know me.”
“Yeah…” he said and then grew quiet for a moment, “Lil’ darlin’?”
“Yes, Bubba?” I answered him as I shut my eyes.
“Pick a color.” He said.
“Uh, white.”
“Alright, then we’re wearing white for prom. I’m not gon’ wear a white suit or nothin’ like that but I’ll do the classic black tux and all that. I’ll ask pops.”
I smiled at his planning. He was too cute.
“You’re so cute,” I said.
Carson didn’t reply instead, my phone started ringing again and he was video calling me now. I picked up and turned a lamp on for some light.
“You see what you do to me?” He said as he showed me his face.
“Aww, Carson are you blushing, baby?” I bit my bottom lip as the term made him blush even more.
It was the cutest thing I had ever seen. He had his hair up, so his ears and his cheeks showed his blush. I snapped a screenshot of it.
“This is going to be my favorite picture even though I look stupid in it.”
“Hol’ on,” he said as his video went on pause and then I got a message from him.
He sent me a picture of us that I never knew was taken. We had all gone to the family cottage in New York with Uncle Mike, Gabriella, and the twins. We were outside, both of us playing in the snow and we were laughing so hard at something.
“Who took this picture?” I asked.
“My YouTube buddy Gabby, she said she was going to use it as content on her videos. Do you not watch them?”
I rolled my eyes, “The majority of them are about slime so no, I don’t but she does take great pictures.”
He smiled, nodding.
“That she does. Alright,” he started off. “I’m gon’ let you catch some Z’s, and should I pick you up in the morning?”
I shook my head, “No, let me ride with Tony so I can tell him about us. I’m not going to hide you in school,” I said.
Carson smiled like a fool.
“Alright, Lil darlin’ that works for me. See you at school. Me too,” he said. He was blushing again, his amber eyes lightening up.
I smiled, “Night, baby. Me too.”
We both knew we loved each other but we had to make sure we fell in love harder before we could say it and I was okay with that.

Carson
When I got to school, Tony was waiting by my locker with a look that could kill. I pulled my phone out texting Katerina just so I could be prepared.
Me: Is your brother carrying?
She didn’t answer right away, and I was getting closer to him. He had his arms folded over his chest.
Me: If I die today, know that I’ll haunt you for the rest of your life Lil darlin.
I tucked my phone away and sighed as I stood in front of Tony. He didn’t say anything and neither did I. Before I could react, Tony punched me hard in the gut. I coughed, bending over, groaning trying not to retaliate. I grunted as I stood upright waiting for another blow. I wouldn’t fight him. When I looked at Tony, he was smiling now.
“Finally,” he said as he slapped my back extra hard.
“Alright, Alright. Cut it out. I’m fixin’ to slap the shit out of you if you hit me one more time.”
Tony laughed as if none of that phased him. He shrugged as he moved out of the way letting me put my backpack in my locker.
“Well, I mean that’s for letting my twin not only tell me about you two but also, letting her take my entire life when I asked what the hell she saw in you. I called you ugly and she cussed me out from where we were until we reached the school’s parking lot,” He said as he ran a hand through his hair.
I chuckled,
“that’s my girl. She’s tough,” I took the books out for the first half of my classes and then turned to Tony. I held my hand out and he clapped it with his. “Thank you for being supportive,” I said.
Tony smiled,
“You guys have been wanting each other since the moment you moved here. I wondered when you would be man enough to ask her out. I just wonder how you’ll tell my dad and the fact that you’re going to the same university cracks me up because I know that wasn’t planned.”
I smiled,
“Nah, it wasn’t planned. Either way, I would’ve made sure to always go see her. You know I’m crushin’ on your sister hard.”
Tony shook his head as we headed to our first class.
“That you are, my friend. You drool over her and I never really saw the appeal. She’s insane as hell but I love that crazy girl so don’t you ever hurt her. I’d hate to break the arms that will make you a fortune.”
I couldn’t help it as I laughed hard. We entered the class. I sat at my desk, placing my books on it and pulled my phone out.
Lil Darlin: Tony isn’t going to harm you and if he does, I’ll kiss it and make it better.
Lil Darlin: Are you still alive? Pls don’t tell me he hurt you cause if he did, I swear to God, he’s dead.
I shook my head; I knew that I had the biggest smile on my face, and I didn’t care.
Me: I’m alright darlin’ but yes, he did hurt me. I think you need to kiss and make it better.
Lil Darlin: Where did he hurt you?
Me: I’ll show you later. I’m kinda mad that I didn’t get to see you this morning.
Lil Darlin: Come outside your class really quick.
I didn’t even think about it as I stood mumbling something about going to the bathroom. I walked out of the classroom and I didn’t even fully close the door when I felt that same small hand slip into mine.
“Come with me,” Katerina said without looking back.
As she led me somewhere, I took a look at her. She had on a white cropped hoodie, a high waisted gray skirt that stopped at her knees and white sneakers. Her hair was up in a messy bun and she had never looked so beautiful to me. I hadn’t even gotten a proper look at her face yet.
Katerina led me into the empty band room, and she locked the door behind her, keeping the lights off. She faced me with a naughty smile on her face. She placed a finger over her mouth telling me to keep quiet then that same finger called me closer to her. I leaned into her, she wrapped her arm around my neck and kissed me like she had been starved. I groaned into her mouth not worried about keeping quiet anymore. I wrapped my arms around her waist and lifted her up. She wrapped her legs around my waist, and I lost myself in her. I don’t even know how we ended up with her sitting on top of the piano and me, devouring her lips like I wouldn’t see her later on today.
Finally, we pulled away from each other. My hands were touching her flesh. Gripping her thighs as hard as I could so I could control myself not to do anything else. Her fingers were still buried in my hair, I placed my forehead on hers.
“Hi,” I said to her.
“Hello.” She said back to me with the cutest smile on her face showcasing those dimples that I loved so much.
“You’re going to get me in a whole heap of trouble darlin’, I just know it.” I declared.
Katerina bit her lip bottom lip before she gripped my hair once more. She tilted her head without removing her forehead from mine, she loo
ked me in my eyes.
“I like bad boys. Got a little taste for danger and you baby, you look like you can give me a little thrill.”
I leaned in, pulling her bottom lip into my mouth. I bit it a little harder this time. She moaned; I gripped her thighs even rougher but then I loosened my hold caressing her thighs instead. I let go of her mouth as well,
“There’s nothing little about me and soon enough, you’ll find out.” I smiled at her. I gave her a quick peck, “but obviously when you’re ready. I’m still a southern gentleman, darlin’.”
She threw her head back laughing, forgetting about her rule of being quiet in here. I took this opportunity to lean in and inhale that scent of hers that’s been driving me insane. It was the perfume that I bought her for her birthday, Dolce & Gabbana, light blue. I didn’t think she would actually wear it but now, I was addicted to it. Her laughter turned into another moan.
“Thank you for being my southern gentleman,” she said.
“You want me to show you how gentlemanly I can be?” I teased her as I bit her shoulder.
“Yes,” she answered me breathlessly.
I moved out of her embrace, moving down to place a gentle kiss right on her blue panty covered pussy. Her skirt had moved up to her waist, but I wasn’t complaining. I peered up at her from that angle and winked at her. I came back up, helped her down and fixed her clothing. I cupped her face in my hands,
“So fucking beautiful.” I said then I pulled her in for another kiss. This time I knew I had to let her go before I did something that would get both of us suspended while we had a couple of months left of school.
Chapter 6
Katerina
One month. Yes, Carson and I have been dating for that long. It was weird because even though we got along, we still took jabs at each other. I sighed as I thought about Carson, I hadn’t seen him all day today due to their away game. He was already busy with his coach investing all the extra time on him and his team before they all went their separate ways. I lifted my phone again and looked at the last text he sent me.
My Carson: Mornin Lil darlin. I know we won’t talk much today but wish me luck on my game today. This one is big. Wish you came with us, but I don’t wanna get on ya dad’s bad side just yet.
I didn’t bother replying because I knew he wasn’t going to see it. When they were done with the game then he’d text me again. I got used to the way he texted. I didn’t mind anymore like I used to; he wasn’t much of a texter, but he always tried to message me. I placed my phone down and the message notification dinged. My heart soared but when I picked it up, unfortunately, it was only Cassie.
Cass: I’m going to meet up with the guy that goes to Ridgemont High. Can you come with me so that I’m not alone? I promise it’s at that mom and pop diner.
I didn’t reply but she was persistent.
Cass: Pls Pls PLS. Please, Big Daddy!!! *Lottie’s voice*
I chuckled. Now I couldn’t get Lottie’s voice from Princess and The Frog out of my head. She knew how much I loved that part. I looked at the time, it was still around seven-thirty at night.
Me: lol stop it!
Me: Okay, I’ll just let my parents know. Come pick me up, I don’t feel like driving today.
Cass: Yay! Look cute baby xoxo. Be there in half an hour cupcake!
She was laying it on thick tonight. I texted both my parents telling them about my plans and where I was going. Since they knew Cassie and her parents, they never really questioned it, but my dad did warn me that he had a GPS built in my body when I was born so he would know if I left the country. I really didn’t know where he got these crazy-ass threats from.
I was ready in less than twenty minutes. I decided to curl my hair, half of it was in a top knot while the other big curls were voluminous falling passed my shoulders. I didn’t do too much with my face as I put some mascara and lip-gloss on. I chose big gold hoop earrings that completed my monochromatic gold dress that stopped at my ankles. The sides had splits that reached my thighs and I wore all white vans. By the time I made it downstairs with my phone in my hand and a small purse, Cassie texted me that she was outside.
“My loves!” I shouted for everyone in the house to hear, “I’m gone now, don’t miss me too much.”
“We won’t,” Matteo said as he was coming down the stairs.
I rolled my eyes at him. He was a spitting image of mom, well both him and Michel. It was weird how much they looked like mom yet dad at the same time. They got the damn blue eyes too. I watched him as he stood in front of me now, he smiled as he kissed my forehead.
“Love you too Teo. Be good and leave Gabriella alone. She has a paper she’s working on. Don’t make me beat your ass again.”
He scoffed, as he kissed my forehead again. He didn’t even reply to me, but I knew that he would leave her be.
I walked out of the house ready to get some food and wait for my baby to text me. I smiled at that.
****
The guy or should I say the guys that Cassie was meeting up with weren’t bad, but I was not feeling this one. I rolled my eyes once more as Cassie giggled at the fuckboy in front of us. When would she ever learn?
I sighed as I checked my phone but nothing yet. I figured Carson’s phone was probably dead. I decided to just eat and be good for Cassie’s sake even though this imbecile by me wanted to get cussed out in both Italian and English. He wasn’t unattractive and I think that was his problem.
“So, where did you say you’re going to again? College wise of course.” Rob said.
I tried not to scowl as I dipped a fry in ketchup before aggressively biting into it.
“I didn’t, “I replied. “Look,” I turned to face him as we sat in a spacious booth yet Cassie and her dude, Jake were practically cuddling. “Rob? Can I call you Robert? Honestly, I don’t care about your answer. I’m not interested. I just came for Cassie.”
Rob had the nerve to laugh,
“how can you not be interested? It’s me. Rob Mackey.”
Was I supposed to know that or give a fuck? Before I could shrivel up his balls and have him crying to mommy, a voice I knew too well got my attention.
“Who the fuck are you and why are you breathin’?”
I turned and came face to face with Carson. He looked good. He looked freshly showered. His hair had that wet look to it as he had it in a ponytail, he wore a black hoodie, faded blue jeans, and sneakers.
“Hi baby,” I perked up not able to hold my smile back.
For a minute, he didn’t take his eyes off Rob but then he made eye contact with me. He was pissed. I stood not caring about anything but the safety of Rob. I didn’t care for Rob, but I had seen Carson fight and it was not going to go well for pretty ugly personality boy Rob.
“Cassie? I’ll call you okay?”
She nodded.
“Okay. Be careful and call me.” She eyed Carson as if he were a monster.
“What the fuck does that even mean?” He asked Cassie.
I had to distract him. He would never hurt Cassie with his fists but as a southernly gentleman, as he was, Carson had no problem putting you in your place with his harsh tongue.
“I missed you today, Carson. Did you miss me as much as I missed you?” I said as I slipped my hand into his.
He glanced my way,
“you know I always miss you more, darlin’. Now,” he stated as he faced Cassie, and I knew he was about to cuss her out.
“Are you hungry, Bubba?” I distracted him.
He turned my way, nodding.
“I am.”
I tugged at his hoodie,
“What do you want to eat?” I asked.
That angry expression morphed into something else. Before I could do or say anything, he cupped my face in his hands and leaned in kissing me. When Carson kissed me, it was like I forgot the world around us existed. He was everything to me and even though, that could be a problem, I didn’t see it like that. I only saw him. After a moment, he pu
lled away then that hungry expression filled his eyes once more as he took me in. His amber eyes met mine again as he spoke,
“You know what I want to eat but you said I had to be good. Haven’t I been good, Lil’ darlin’?”
My eyes widened yet at the same time, my body was on fire.
“You’ve been so good, Bubba.”
“Carson.” He corrected me.
I smiled,
“Carson. Now, let’s go get you some dinner and then you’ll have dessert.”
Carson smiled. He reached into his back pocket, took his wallet out and dropped some cash on the table. He held my hand in his and we walked out.
****
We decided to go back to Carson’s house. His dad was out of town again. He was an enforcer for the Irish. He never discussed what he did with us because well it wasn’t our business, but I knew the things that Carson did. Well, the simple ones he could tell me.
Today was the exception for Carson as we ordered four large pizzas. Three of them were for him and half of one was mine. We sat there in the living room catching up on all the episodes of Daredevil on Netflix. Carson yawned for the third time in the past ten minutes. I didn’t say anything to him at first but when I turned to look at him, he was asleep with his head on my shoulder. I paused the show,
“Babe come on. Let’s get you in bed.”
Carson nodded; he opened his eyes for a minute. We both stood, I took his hand in mine and walked him upstairs to his room. When we got in, I helped him out of his hoodie and jeans since he had already taken his socks and sneakers off earlier.
I should’ve known he was this tired, he couldn’t even keep his eyes open. I moved the bedsheets and got him in.
“I’ll be right back. I’m going to clean up.”
“Okay.” He answered.
I was surprised he still could hear me and hadn’t passed out. I went downstairs to clean up putting away the leftovers and making sure everything was back in its place.
Finishing up, I went upstairs to say goodnight to Carson. When I got in his room, he was knocked out or so I thought. I caressed his face, tracing over his bushy but arched eyebrows. His Greek nose courtesy of his father’s family, an impeccable jaw and lips that I loved to kiss. Carson stirred. I paused not wanting to wake him up. I kissed his forehead lightly, so I didn’t wake him up,
