Falling For A Black Billionaire 2 Page 2

“Take your time,” I told her and fell on the bed.

Before she left out of the room, I was knocked out.

Out of all of the girls that were at Spence and Kriss’s wedding, I had to mess with Lawrynn. Hell, out of all the girls in Hawaii, I couldn’t believe that she was the one that I decided to have drunk sex with. I couldn’t remember everything that happened. The last thing I vividly remembered was cockblocking her when I saw her talking to one of my good friends. I didn’t know why I felt a way when I saw them talking. Let me take that back; I wasn’t feeling a way, I just didn’t want her to have sex with him. I knew that’s what they were getting ready to talk about because I knew the type of woman that Lawrynn was. Ooh, but you had sex with her, was what I would say to the person that told me this, but in my defense, I didn’t remember it.

After Spence chewed me out like he was Travis Spencer the second, I left his room and caught the elevator back down with Lawrynn. I didn’t see any type of girlfriend material in her. She dressed like a dude, and that’s not my type. Any type of friendship we were going to have came to a halt the day that Spence proposed to Kriss. She approached me wanting to have sex with me, and I was all the way turned off. I told her that she wasn’t my type and we hadn’t had a decent conversation since. Don’t get me wrong, Lawrynn was so pretty, but the fact that she acted and dressed like a dude, most times, was a turn off to me. She was like two heads shorter than me, with rich, dark skin. I didn’t even know what kind of body she had because she always had on loose-fitting clothes. Hell, even the dress she had on at the wedding was loose fitting.

When I made it back to my room, I fell on the bed. The scent was strong, and it smelled of the sex that I had with Lawrynn. I pulled the comfortable back, and I saw the huge stains in the bed. I couldn’t help but wonder how many rounds we went at it, especially if we were drunk out of our minds. I closed my eyes tight and tried to remember something, but I got nothing. I tried to go back to sleep but I couldn’t, so I got up to brush my teeth and get the aftertaste of alcohol out of my mouth and to shower.

In the shower, so many thoughts were running through my mind. I thought about Spence’s wedding yesterday. It was so beautiful, and Kriss looked amazing. I’m not going to lie; I thought that Kriss was just a fling and that my brother wasn’t serious about a girl that was broke, let alone a girl that passed out bottles for a living. Trust and believe, I was the first person judging Kriss from the very beginning. I knew in my heart that was she only using him for his money, and he was being a sucker. Honestly, none of that changed until I stood behind him and saw the way that she gazed into my brother’s eyes when she was saying her vows. Tears were streaming down her face, and he was continuously wiping them away.

Listening to Kriss say her vows had me wondering if I would ever find a woman to feel that way about me. I wasn’t really playing the field like my brother was; I was truly trying to find someone to settle down with. I had met plenty of women out there, but they were all after my money. I couldn’t count the girls who had been gold diggers and trying to trap me. Don’t get me wrong; I had no trouble spending my money on a woman… my woman, but if that’s all you were about, I didn’t want you. I caught a girl poking holes in my condoms one time. It’s like I’d just been having bad luck with women, so that’s why I’m just chilling. I had this homegirl, Jasmine Lovelace, that I had casual sex with, with no issues. We had an understanding that it’s just sex between us. There were also a few others I called when I just wanted that top or if I just wanted some good snatch. Those were some of the girls that I barely called because they automatically got the wrong idea between us, and I didn’t want any trouble like Spence had with that young ass girl a while back. That girl was damn near trying to kill my brother, to be honest.

After I got out the shower, I opened the patio doors to get some fresh air in here. I stood out on the balcony in nothing but a towel. I had a great view of the beach. This whole side of the resort belonged to the Spencers. It was hard trying to block off a whole side of a resort for one family and their guests, but when you had money, you could make anything happen. After catching some sun for a few moments, I went and got in the bed. Moments later, I was out like a light.

  Hours later.

The rumbling in my stomach was what woke me up. I grabbed my phone off the nightstand, and it said seven in the evening. I looked out the door and saw a perfect sunset. Not being able to ignore my stomach any longer, I got up and threw on a pair of khaki linen pants with a white, button down shirt. I was going to leave it open so that the ladies could see this hard ass body. Me and Spence were built totally different even though me and him both worked out the same. My brother was about two hundred fifty pounds worth of muscle, and I’m about fifty or sixty pounds lighter than him, but don’t get it twisted, I’m all muscle as well. While Spence was about six foot five, I’m about six foot three. After grabbing my cell phone, wallet, and room key, I left the room.

Once I was outside the building, I stopped and looked at the map to see where I wanted to eat. My body was completely empty, so I wanted some of everything. I knew I could get that at the surf and turf buffet. I double looked at the map to make sure that I was going to the right place. On the way, I found myself winking at some of the thickest girls I had ever seen in my life. What I learned in the last couple days that I had been here was that these women from Hawaii were just built differently. Once I made it to the restaurant, I stood in line for a few moments before the lady at the front took my room number and invited me in. The strong smell of fried shrimp hit me right in the face and made my stomach grumble. It was huge as hell and food from wall to wall. I wanted some of everything.

Walking around the room twice with two plates full of food, I started looking around for a place to sit. There weren’t many.

“Sir, there are places out at the bar to sit and eat,” the waitress said to me.

I followed her outside, and there wasn’t much room out here, but I did spot three empty seats at the end of the bar. I took a seat and started chomping on the food. I didn’t know if the food was that good or if I was really hungry. It had to have been both. I was in the middle of grubbing on the second plate when I heard familiar voices. I turned around to see our cousin, Alton Sayer, and of course… Lawrynn, walking and holding hands. He helped her on the end seat, and he sat next to me.

“Trevvy Trev, what’s going on, family?” he spoke, trying to dap me up, but my hands were greasy from the food, so I threw my head back.

“What’s up, Al? You good?” I questioned him, but looked past him at Lawrynn who was now staring straight ahead.

“Yeah, I’m good. I was just taking a stroll on the beach with this beautiful chocolate chip,” he said and wrapped his arm around her waist, making her smile. “She loves the sunset. We took some really good pictures down at the beach.”

  “Hmph,” I grunted.

I wasn’t hating or nothing, I just didn’t want to hear anything about her, especially after the wild morning we both had.

“Ah, okay, well we just came over here to get drinks. Didn’t mean to interrupt your dinner or anything. Have a good rest of the night, Trev.”

“Drinks, Lawrynn, really?” I huffed. “Drunk sex must be your thing,” I mumbled.

  “Excuse me,” Lawrynn hissed.

“You excused. Gon’ head. Two dudes in two nights. I don’t know why I expected anything different,” I hissed.

“Whoa, family, you sound like a straight dweeb right now. Me and her ain’t even on that, but even if we were, it’s our business. I wouldn’t care about that anyway because… I’m a grown ass man,” he said to me.

Before I could reply to him, he helped Lawrynn off the chair. They didn’t even get drinks. Not being able to help myself, I turned around as they were walking away. He had his arm around her neck, and they were laughing and talking. My appetite had suddenly vanished. I stacked up my plates, left a tip under them, and walked towards the beach. The sun s
etting over the ocean was nice as hell. I kept walking down the beach when I saw my brother, his wife, and Quad. He was using his tripod to take pictures of all of them. They all had on all white. They looked beautiful together. Once I got closer to them, Kriss saw me and waved me over.

“Wow, you must knew that we were taking pictures, come get in,” Kriss said and smiled at me.

Not one to tell Kriss no when it comes to her pictures, I got in position, standing next to Spence, and smiled.

“Say hey Uncle Trevvy,” Kriss spoke in baby talk to Quad, making him giggle.

I pinched Quad’s puffy cheeks, who was the spitting image of my brother. Kriss carried my brother’s twin for nine months.

“What you feeding this boy, Kriss? Good God Almighty. He’s going to be a chunky something,” I said.

“Nothing but good ol’ breast milk. It’s almost time for feeding now.”

“Okay, head up to the room, Sweetie. I’ll be right behind you. Let me talk to my brother right quick.”

“Yes, Daddy!” She stood on her tiptoes and placed a kiss on his lips.

“Aight, aight, aight,” I said, once they started tongue kissing.

I looked up at my brother while he was watching his wife walk away with their son. This dude was in love. After she was no longer in view, he turned to me.

“What’s wrong? What happened?” he questioned me.

  “Nothing, why you ask that?”

He stared at me with his eyebrow raised for a few moments before he spoke.

“I’ve been knowing you all your life, Trevor Maurice Spencer. I know when you’re upset. Spill it.”

Being able to talk to my brother, I sighed and sat down in the sand. He sat down next to me and got quiet. We listened to the water crash against the shore for a moment before I started speaking.

“Man, I saw Lawrynn with Al while I was sitting at the bar,” I huffed.

  “Okay?”

“I think they are going to… have sex tonight,” I said.

  “Okay?”

“Can you say something other than okay, Spence?”

“What do you want me to say? Just this morning, you stared at Ms. Barksdale like she was scum. You looked at her like you were disgusted that you had sex with her, so why are you telling me that she may have sex with Al? I don’t care about that and neither should you.”

“I mean, but you don’t think that’s strange? Two dudes in two nights. That’s hoe shit, and you should tell Kriss that—”

“I’m not telling Kriss anything. Why? Lawrynn is grown. Lawrynn is single. Lawrynn can do whatever it is that she wants when she wants. That’s neither your nor my problem.”

“What if you found out that Kriss had sex with two dudes in one night? Would you have still wifed her and got her pregnant?”

“Yep! I’m grown and what she did in her past wouldn’t have altered my decision. Although, I’m the second and the last guy that will ever be in that good shit. Every woman has a past, Trevor, and you’re going to miss out on a good woman because you want her to be a virgin and be a freak all at the same time. What type of woman are you looking for?”

“One that doesn’t have sex with two dudes in two nights,” I said.

Spence burst into a fit of laughter, making me cock my head to the side to look at him with a crazy look.

“Bruh, listen, I know you serious as hell right now, but listen to me… every woman that you ever encounter is going to have a past, and if you think it’s squeaky clean, then you are a dummy. It might not be having sex with two dudes in two nights or whatever. It could be something worse. I guarantee if you ask a woman what’s something she wishes that she could take back, eight times out of ten, it’ll be something dealing with a man. Listen, just find you a woman that you vibe with, settle down, and marry her.”

  “But—”

“But nothing… the woman you marry is not going to look or act like anything you expected… believe me. Hell, I didn’t believe in marriage, and I told everyone who would listen that I didn’t want kids, and look at me. Married after only knowing Kriss a little under two years and got a baby… working on number two. Honestly, I wasn’t looking for love, that shit just jumped on me and held me hostage. It only took one night to know that Kriss was the one for me. Trust me; you’re not going to know what hit you when you realize you’re in love. Now, go have you a glass of water and chill. No alcohol tonight, Trevor,” Spence said to me.

He helped me up and pulled me into a brotherly hug. He walked the short way while I took the long way back to my room. On the way back to my room, a group of girls approached me.

“What you doing tonight, Daddy? Want to have some fun? If so, we are going to be in building twenty-five, room three,” the tall, baby doll looking girl said, making me bite my lip.

It was three of them together. They all looked like they took care of their bodies the way that I did. I didn’t know if their asses or boobs were fake, but they looked good.

“I’ll see about that…” I said and grinned at them.

I finally made it to my building, and I got on the elevator. I hovered over Lawrynn’s floor, debating on whether I should apologize or not. That would be the grown man thing to do, so I pressed Lawrynn’s floor. I got off on her floor and approached her room. I prayed that she was in there by herself or I would look like a fool. Just as I was getting ready to knock on her room door, I heard a loud thump against the door. I was getting ready to kick the door down when I heard Lawrynn moaning.

“Ooowwweee, right there! Right there! Keep going! Shit!” Lawrynn moaned out.

“Damn, you feel so damn good, girl!” Alton groaned out, like a female.

I ain’t never had sex that good to make me want to moan out like that. He was just trying to make her feel good because I knew she didn’t feel tight around him. I knew what I was working with between my legs and ain’t no telling how many rounds we went last night. Forget them! I’m a firm believer in signs and coming here to apologize to Lawrynn would have made me look like a sucker. Forget her! I got back on the elevator, and instead of going up, I went down, and out the door to building twenty-five, room number three.

  One month later.

Ever since Hawaii, Alton and I had been kicking it heavily. While we were talking on the beach, he told me that he was from Atlanta and that he owned his own construction company. He told me that he made good money working and he had a good contracting deal with Ground-Up, so every time they got a contract, he’s the first person that Spence called. Alton was really nice, and I honestly didn’t expect much to come from us having sex in Hawaii, especially since Trevor tried to play me that same night. I rolled my eyes just at the thought of him.

I truly didn’t remember having sex with Trevor, and it’s been a month later, and I still didn’t remember anything. The very next day I touched down back in the states, I made an emergency appointment to get tested for anything that he could have given me. I didn’t know if he used a condom or not. The doctor said he didn’t detect anything in my blood, but it could still be too early to find out. He told me to schedule another appointment for six weeks later or if I had any type of symptoms, to come back and see him. So far, I hadn’t had any symptoms, but my next appointment was in three weeks. Until I found out if I had something or not, I’d been making Alton wear condoms.

Alton was my type of guy. Even after Trevor’s outburst about us having sex the night before, Alton didn’t care. I had already told him about what happened that morning. It really was coincidental how we ran into each other though. After I had gone back to my room and took that long nap, I woke up, brushed my teeth damn near ten minutes to get the aftertaste of the throw-up and liquor out of my mouth and took a hot ass shower for like thirty minutes. I put on a swimsuit and went down to the beach. I just needed a moment alone to reflect on my actions and how I made the people around me feel because of what I did. Everything Kriss said to me was floating through my mind. What if you were raped and killed? I h
ad to thank God that He sort of kept me safe through my drunken moment. In the middle of my short prayer, Alton had come and sat next to me and asked me was I okay. I told him about everything that happened, and he just pulled me in for a hug. We stayed on the beach for hours until we came back and ran into Trevor. I was so pissed at how he tried to play me. Trevor was childish, and if I never saw him again, it would be perfectly okay.

My desk phone ringing brought me out of my trance. It was my new assistant Tiffany Curtis. She was truly a godsend because that first lady I had was a mess. She always brought drama to my office. I didn’t have my own building just yet, so I could have gotten my lease terminated if I didn’t fire her.

“Tiffany,” I spoke when I picked up the phone.

“Hey! I have Russ on line three for you…” she said and paused.

  “Anything else?” I asked.

  “Are you two dating?”

“God no! Russ is my best friend… and I know what you’re getting at. He is not the guy to date. I’m just warning you because you are a woman who has a great head on her shoulders. You don’t need to be getting caught up with him,” I told her.

“Yes ma’am,” she responded and hung up.

I clicked on line three, and I heard Russ arguing with someone in the background.

“RUSS!” I hollered his name, but he kept hollering at whoever was in his background.

“Russell, I’m about to hang up. Who are you yelling at?” I asked him.

“Mane, do you have any appointments? Please come get me before you have to be my lawyer in a homicide case mane. I’m about to send you the address,” Russ said and hung up the phone.

I shook my head because this ain’t the first time I have had to save Russ from doing something that would get him locked up. I gathered my things because I knew I probably wasn’t going to come back to the office.

“Tiff, can you stay another hour or so and see if I get any phone calls. Any very important phone calls, send them to my cell phone. I’ll see you tomorrow. Please don’t forget to lock up,” I said to her, and she nodded her head.
