"I never taught you how to fly, did I?" he asked while looking around.
Fly? "I can fly?" I blurted. My poor feet throbbed in remembrance of all the miles I'd walked over the last few days. I suppose I could have tried to ride a horse, but for some reason, horses didn't like wizards. Cats loved us. Dogs were hit and miss. "I could have flown," I choked out.
He smiled at me. "It's not as useful as it might sound. Personal flying is a very slow process. You can stroll faster. Oh, I suppose if the route were to be meandering, you might save a little time going straight overhead, but not much."
I sighed. At least I hadn't missed out on much. The roads I'd taken were relatively straight, so it sounded like I wouldn't have gained any time. Still. Flying!
"Here," he said. His hands gestured in a complex pattern while he articulated the words necessary. A last chop of his hand and his feet rose from the stone floor.
"Woah," I said. "You're flying."
"Floating really, but go ahead and try."
I repeated the words and gestures, modifying them to my own personal style. That was the biggest obstacle to just anyone doing magic. Magic required adaptation to each person, and no one, no matter how good, could figure that out for another person. It's why, and I apologize if this seems arrogant, only intelligent people were capable of magic. It's why the curious were chosen, but only if they had the smarts to match.
My first year of training had been very little magic and lots of learning to adapt my master's magic to become my own. After that, things got easier and more difficult. Easier because I could quickly evolve a spell into my own version, harder because magic became everything I did. I suspected that first year of training was why I was able to adapt to doing magic as a woman. It hadn’t been that long ago, so I still remembered the patterns. I wouldn't give magic up for anything, but never let anyone claim magic is easy.
With a last mumbled word, my feet left the tower. My stomach dropped to my feet as I fought down nausea.
"Easy," Master Genner said. "You'll get used to it in time."
"How high can we go?" I asked as the nausea faded, and my stomach came back to its correct location.
"As high as you want. The spell isn't very draining. The only limitations are that the higher you go, the colder it gets and the harder it gets to breathe. Both of which can be overcome, of course, but then you're burning more magic. One thing to never forget, make sure you have enough power leftover to land."
"Uh. That sounds like good advice."
He laughed. "Now, to the clouds."
It seems our earlier idea had been forestalled by a new lesson. My pussy clenched in an effort to remind me of why we were supposed to be here. But I was flying!
I—slowly—followed my master upward.
Up and up.
"Use a warmth spell when you start getting cold," Master Genner said. Meanwhile, a bubble surrounded us, which kept the air fresh and at the same pressure as near ground level. It also blocked the winds which had begun to threaten to buffet us off course. That spell took considerable power as nature fought to reassert itself. Mountaineers paid big money to wizards for a portable version of the spell. Why? Because mountains were a calling that humans couldn't resist. Not only wizards had a powerful curiosity.
The spring sky held many fluffy, white clouds far above the ground. When we floated to a stop, high above the ground, I could see for endless miles. Even the curve in the earth was obvious from so high.
"The villagers think clouds are like cotton," I said while staring into the distance. A growing sense of my own smallness grew. Straight below me was the tower, a huge manmade building, that from here looked like a stick in the ground. The village, which seemed like a large area cut into the forest, appeared to be but a minor hole in the forest from so high.
Master Genner's arms wrapped around my neck, draping down to rest on my considerable chest. He nuzzled my neck, then whispered, "Do you want to do this?"
I blinked. "Up here?"
His lips on my neck sent a thrill through my body. A wonderful, powerful bolt of electricity. His chuckle in my ear raised goosebumps on my arm, another thing that felt simply divine. I'd missed out on a lot by not having sex these last few years. So much. "If we're going to do it, why not do it like wizards?"
I laughed. Wizards never did anything small. Why have sex in a bed, when you could have sex in the sky? "Let's do it," I said.
Master Genner gave my chest a squeeze before spinning me in place to face him. Our lips sought each other out, easier with the ability to float, I just drifted upward until we were at the same height. Underneath my feet, it felt like nothing. Just a floating that went way beyond floating in a pool of water.
We kissed. Part of my concentration had to maintain the spell that kept me both warm and, more importantly, from crashing into the ground at terminal velocity. I suspected that would kill me. The very thought should have killed my arousal and had me running for the ground, but instead, the risk just ramped up the kiss.
Ramped up his touches.
We kissed for long minutes. Touching each other through our clothing. I never forgot about the ground. I couldn't. Not with it being so far below me. So dangerous. Deadly.
Master Genner moved to my neck. I moaned into the empty sky. Nothing surrounded us. Nothingness. Just... our spells to breathe and fly. My stomach fluttered between the feelings of delight from our interactions and the fear of looking down. Luckily, I didn't have a fear of heights, or flying sex would never have worked. Not at that height.
My hands worked the tie to his robe. Let it flutter open.
"Mm," I hummed. He did have a good physique. I should have bugged him about how to improve mine rather than improvise. But a wizard's calling was improvisation, curiosity, and experimentation. Why ask for help when one could risk life and limb? Or cock, as in my case.
I touched his bare skin, eliciting a moan from him. "I'd forgotten how fun sex could be," he said.
I didn't ask how long it been. He'd refused to answer once. No point in trying again.
My turn to kiss his neck and across his bare chest. I opened his robe further, finally letting it fall. We'd find it later. Hopefully. Would he be mad that I'd lost his robe? Would some peasant get smacked on the head by falling clothing, look up, and wonder, "what the fuck?"
I laughed.
When Master Genner raised an eyebrow at me, I just shook my head and floated backward. I reached for the ties to my dress. Teased opening them. Spread the neckline further than he'd seen. His eyes widened. Slowly, I pulled open the dress. I still had a shift on underneath, but it didn't cover as much as the dress. With the ties open, I was able to slip the dress off, not as easy as on the ground. It took some time to figure out how to pull it off without anything to push against. Who knew?
Master Genner laughed.
I let the dress float towards the earth. Let someone find it and wonder. Half of being a wizard was confusing the mundane folk. My shift came off a little easier, caught by gravity once off my body, it too floated to the ground.,
"Well, if you were going to swap into someone's body, you chose a good one apprentice," Master Genner said.
I flushed. “I thought you said you’d seen better?”
“I have, but not many.”
We came back together.
Kissed.
Touched.
Naked skin to naked skin thousands of feet in the air. We spun in place. Our hands explored. Teased. Tickled.
And that's when I felt it. The flow of magic. From him. To me. Back. Each time growing. It was just a trickle at first. A small trickle that was still more than I'd felt before, even from Anna.
"It works," Master Genner said. Marveling at the magic growing between us.
"You doubted me?" I teased.
"I thought maybe you had mistaken draining Anna for growing, but this is filling both of us. We might be able to sustain the spells indefinitely." Even as we spoke and stopped our playing, the tr
ickle diminished.
"I love sex," I said. "But even I couldn't go forever."
He laughed. "Good point."
We came back together. I had to turn down the warming spell around us as my own body heat grew.
Master Genner dove into my breasts.
Kissing.
Suckling.
Squeezing.
I groaned. It felt incredible knowing we were so far up but in the open. Anyone could watch. If they had eyes of an eagle. Okay, no one could watch, but it felt like they could!
"I need you," Master Genner growled.
My pussy clenched.
We floated together. I wrapped my legs around him. His erect cock pressed between my legs. Teased. Paused. Then slid in when Master Genner pulled me to him. An explosion of power joined us together even further.
"Wow," I said.
Master Genner shook his head. "That's. Incredible. Later I'll teach you how to turn excess into a growth of your potential. You might just become one of the most powerful wizards ever."
Being powerful had never been an important goal, but the thought did spike my arousal.
"Shut up and fuck me," I said.
He laughed.
But we did fuck.
Hard now.
Magic swirled around us, necessary for momentum. I kicked off a magical wall while held himself in place with magic. Magic, which grew until it overflowed first me, then, a long time later, even him. A wizard could only choose one method of increasing their power. It was the most important choice wizards made. My master couldn't use the excess power to increase his total potential, but I could learn to do so. And now that I recognized what was happening, it had happened with all my lovers. Just stronger with the magical ones.
"Faster," I commanded. Ignoring the power which didn't matter anymore, I wanted only one thing. My release. Okay. Two things. My release and his seed in me.
We moved faster.
Our sweat mingled together on our slick bodies. I kissed him. Hard.
A thrust sent me spiraling over the edge and spiraling for real as we spun around. I screamed. "Master!" my body shook with orgasm. He thrust faster, keeping me high. Well, keeping my pleasure high, we were already high in the sky.
A few more thrusts and he groaned. Warmth exploded inside me. Magic exploded around us, slammed into our bodies, sending both of us into a peak higher than just sex alone.
"Gods!" Master Genner cried out.
I joined him.
We spun in the magic of the moment. Until our bodies couldn't take any more.
Slowly, we came apart.
Slick.
Drops of his semen and my juices spun away towards the ground. I glanced down. Looked at him. "I hope there's no one below us."
Master Genner burst out laughing.
Chapter 14: To Potion or not to Potion
The next day, after much experimentation, I woke in my master’s arms.
“You still need to handle the consultations,” he said, curling back up into his bed.
I kissed his cheek. Paused. “Still think your hand is as good as woman’s cunt?” I whispered into his ear.
His laughter followed me out of the room.
I returned to the consultation building as the sun was rising. Wizards got to sleep in. Wizard apprentices did not.
Anna slunk in after the villagers started arriving, but whenever a moment appeared where we could have talked, she snuck off. I wasn't mad. Not anymore. I had a lot of options open to me. I just didn't know what to do.
Still. I didn't inform her that her trick had failed. Everyone who needed to know knew the truth.
Let her stew.
"So, uh, how are you?"
I kept at my potion making. Mumbling under my breath until the potion quickened. I wiped my hands on my robe and slowly turned to Anna. Her beautiful face flushed red as I stared.
"They know."
"What?" she yelled.
"Your father figured it out without much help. Baron Sidemore deserved to know."
Anna ducked her head. "It isn't fair."
"Nor was running and leaving me holding the... cock."
Her head shot up. "You fucked him?"
I grinned. "I'm quite the slut; it turns out."
Anna shook her head. "So, you're not mad?" She shuffled on one foot, glanced at me, looked away.
"Not anymore. I was furious."
"For what it's worth. I am sorry. I realized later I shouldn't have done it and felt terrible."
"For what it's worth, I am happy you did it. It gave me a lot to think about. And I forgive you."
Her eyes flared, but she didn't lash out.
I grinned at her.
She just shook her head. "Oh, I almost forgot." Anna stepped into the main room for a moment before returning to the back room. "Isn't this yours?" She held my dress from the day before.
It was my turn to flush. "Where did you get that?" I asked in a mumble while reaching for the dress.
Anna danced back, holding it just out of reach. "Sean brought it in, said it fell from the sky, and almost knocked him out."
I rolled my eyes. "I doubt that. It wouldn't have been able to reach the needed velocity for its weight to have harmed him."
"Air resistance?" she asked.
I nodded.
"Still, it fell from the sky."
"Uh, magic experimentations," I said waving my hand mysteriously.
"Uh-huh." Her grin said she suspected what type of experimentations. Though I doubted she could know with who. I didn't need to inform her.
"I got the troll semen," I said to change the subject.
"A troll! You fucked a troll!" Anna laughed.
"You don't have to fuck to get semen," I pointed out. Technically not a lie, but certainly misleading.
"Oh," she sounded disappointed.
"But I did end up fucking a troll," I said.
Anna laughed.
The three of us sat around the table, staring at the potion. I hadn't added any hair, so it was just a base. If it were to become a transformation potion, I'd need hair. Which I had; I'd collected it from my room before leaving the tower that morning.
"So, what are you going to do?" Tom asked.
"I'm not sure," I'm mumbled. A lock of my original hair twirled in my fingers.
"You don't want the body you tried to get in the first place?" Anna asked.
I shrugged. "I'm not sure."
"Can you say anything else?"
I grinned. "I'm not sure," we all said in unison. And laughed.
"What’s the problem?" Anna said, placing a hand on my mine. Tom reached over to add his hand to the pile.
I looked at my friends. "One for the road?" I asked while waggling my eyebrows suggestively.
Epilogue: Swapped
"Your condition is no reason to not finish your studies," Master Genner said to me.
I touched my bulging stomach. "I don't feel well."
"Then fix it!" Master Genner roared. "You are too close to finishing your apprenticeship to be wasting time. I have another apprentice who needs my attention."
I glanced at the former Anna, now going by Aaron, who stuck his tongue out at me. The potion had worked just as well on Anna as it had originally worked on me. Maybe even better than my original one. Of course, it probably helped that our master had helped with the formulation.
"Sorry, Master," I mumbled.
"Good. Your husband will be here in a couple days, and he isn't going to want to wait while you finish these last few lessons. You may be almost done, but if you can't master the last skills, I won't let you go."
I blushed, but part of me wanted to see what would happen if I did make the Baron, my husband, wait. He had a firm hand for discipline. My pussy clenched. Though he might not be willing to use his most enjoyable forms of punishment with me in my current condition. I sighed and doubled down on enhancing my power. Aaron shifted on the bed, where he laid naked. We'd just finished making love while Mast
er Genner watched. I was beginning to think our master was something of a voyeur.
Baron Sidemore had agreed to allow me other lovers. So long as my children were his. Magic made that easy enough to handle. And magic would show that the children were his even if people found out about my... extra activities. To become a powerful wizard, I'd need to have many lovers. It seemed to work better with either other wizards or with new people.
And the better the sex, the more power.
A door slammed open; Tom strolled in. "Done?" he asked.
"Not yet," I said.
Tom shook his head. "My father isn't going to wait forever. He's threatening to throw me out as it is." We'd formed a partnership for enchanted weapons. Tom's father and master thought we were just going to travel together on our journey projects. It wasn't unheard of for journeymen from different disciplines to work together. Though it wasn't common that one of the partners was a wizard. Sidemore would fund their travel in exchange for part of the profits and an agreement to keep the best enchantments for his people.
My people, I thought. That wouldn't be a promise hard to keep. Hints were coming that the world was changing. Peasants were getting restless with their endless toil for little to no reward. Nobles would slaughter them unless someone stopped it.
Like the wizards.
Master Genner had started putting out feelers, but the wizards were happy in their no interference world.
Aaron sighed. "I wish I could go with," she said, interrupting my thoughts.
"Absolutely not," Master Genner said. "You do not know near enough to be allowed out in the open, let alone on a journey." A wizard's first year as an apprentice was dangerous, especially for people around him or her now.
"I know, but travel—," Aaron sighed again.
