Vik nodded, “Agreed, we only need to focus on a plan to take them with our ships and avoid that if we can. That part of the plan stands. I also think if there is another battle within two weeks, it’s sure to be the last one before our ships are ready. Which… makes me pretty confident we’ll successfully have the hundred and twenty ships.”

  Telidur nodded, “Agreed.”

Jillintara said, “How about we appear to be going back to the original plan, but change it up a little bit. We’ll leave ten ships in the open, and cloak the rest. They’ll believe we went back to an older tactic, and expect all the other ships to be set up in ambush, along with the missiles.

“We’ll set up the missiles in ambush, at maximum plasma and DE range in front of those ten ships. The rest of the ships will be thirty light seconds behind the ten bait ships. When they attack the ten ships, the missiles will power up and attack as a diversion. We’ll stay cloaked, and charge at them at two hundred gravities, until we close within range. That should confuse them. At that point, we’ll reverse the acceleration, de-cloak, and fire. Same plan, four on one to take them out quickly.”

We all stared at her for a moment, I’d admit to amazement if asked.

  She blushed, “What?”

Vik said, “It’s a good plan, or a good start of one, we’ve just never heard you plan a battle before, only provide information to help the three of us plan.”

She nodded thoughtfully, “I do tend to stick to facts and try not to speculate, despite being Isythian in emotions and personal interactions, I am still A.I., but maybe I’m growing in creativity?”

I said, “Intelligent, And she’s gorgeously sexy.”

Jillintara glared at me through another blush, while Vik and Telidur chuckled.

Vik said, “Good plan, but let’s start off at a light minute from the ten decoy ships. Chances are, they’ll do a skip once those missiles launch, and they’ll probably surround those ten ships when they do it, and make the globe big enough to surround where they’ll think we are. Then we de-cloak, and hit them hard. Let’s make that the general battle plan, we may adjust it later, a lot can happen in seven to ten days. Also, have some sims made up and throw some curve balls, see how our people respond to it. Maybe they’ll come up with something better than we did.”

Jillintara said, “I’ll get on that, and it’s a good idea.”

Vik said, “Alright, I think we’re done.

“So, does that mean we have time off for a few days? Orders and all.”

Vik nodded, and smiled, “I need it, to put the last few days in perspective.”

Telidur snickered, “Why? Got a hot date?”

I blushed, “As a matter of fact, I may be unavailable the rest of the day.”

Jillintara laughed in amusement at my antics, and both of the men looked surprised as I got up and left rather quickly, in search of one of the most sexy, graceful, and elegant women I’d ever met, of any species. I’d wanted her the other day, but Vik had first dibs. That…sounded horrible in my head, but it was true enough. Today she was mine, by both her choice and mine, and I had the martial arts expertise to make sure of it…

It didn’t take me long to track her down, mostly thanks to Ann’s assistance. She was mostly quiet these days, she knew me well and fed me information on my overlay before I could even ask for it. Still, even her voice sounded amused when she told me where the vixen was. I shouldn’t have been surprised, but she was in my assigned room.

I was hardly sexually deprived, more often than not I had amazing sex, nightly, and was fully sated during the day, and had done that just last night. In fact, I was still a little pleasantly sore from Vik, though that was quickly fading by the minute due to my health nanites. That didn’t seem to matter, her touch in the meeting had set me on fire on desire for her, and I had been forced to put off a night with her just a few days ago.

It was more than just bodily needs, and attraction. I could admit that to myself. In fact, our mutual attraction had stemmed from the friendship we’d both chased after, just as much as her beauty. The attraction had definitely come later, once the jealousy had faded. I cared about Cyntariel, and not only wanted the pleasure of her body, but to give her pleasure.

It no longer felt strange to me to have multiple lovers, nor to share them with my other lovers.

Still, the intensity and longing of my feelings and needs were a little shocking to me, despite the setup that the last few days had provided in making me wait for it, wait for her, along with her little seduction of me during the meeting.

By the time I reached my room, my lower body tingled in anticipation, and I felt warm again remembering her earlier touch. I was flushed with desire, and more than ready by the time I walked into my quarters.

  Chapter Twenty

My mouth went dry and I licked my lips as I walked in my bedroom and took her in. She was nude, and provocatively positioned on my bed in the mussed sheets, which only seemed to cover her most intimate areas.

She bit her lip and seductively smiled as she took in my reaction to her.

“Hi, if you were any longer I’d have started without you.”

A shiver went down my spine as I started to strip my clothes off, “What’s gotten into you.”

Someone had taken my playfully sweet confident Cyntariel, and turned her into a seductress. Or was she always like this, and it was me and my perceptions of her that had changed?

She laughed, “Sorry, a little over the top? I just really wanted you, and last time you were on the planet you escaped before I could.”

I smirked, and gave her a show as I turned, bent over, and slowly slid my panties down.

“I felt the same way, if it makes you feel better.”

She giggled, “So, I didn’t need to pull out all the stops?”

I stalked toward the bed, “No, I had hopes and plans to seduce you today, but I liked it, a lot. You are one sexy woman even when you aren’t trying, now you’re absolutely devastating.”

She smiled softly, as I crawled into the bed, hovered over her, and claimed a kiss. After all the buildup and obvious heat between us, I’d have expected it to be hungry and devouring, but it was soft, sweet, and loving, as we caressed and teased our lips together.

She sighed softly, and I trembled slightly as I felt her hand caress my cheek.

I sighed into her mouth, as her lips slightly parted, and our tongues met and danced together. I was a little breathless, as I gently pulled the sheet off her, and lowered my body so we were skin to skin. She arched slightly, and ground her body against mine. I could feel how wet she was, almost as much as me, as my thigh grazed her, and hers grazed mine. Lightning shot from my nipples to my core as our breasts teasingly brushed, and then again a little harder.

Our kiss grew in heat and passion, but was still loving and tender at the same time, as our breath, gasps, and sighs of pleasure mixed in each other’s mouths.

I opened my eyes as the kiss broke, and hers were just inches from mine. I could see the barely contained desire there, and sure they were reflections of my own.

She smiled, “I’m not the sexy one here.”

I smirked, knowing how absurd that statement was, she was so far out of my league as far as looks and poise went, that we weren’t even the same star system. But… I knew it would be pointless to argue. Plus, maybe she did believe that, I was the exotic human after all, from her point of view, and I was hardly unattractive. I was also graceful in my own way, but it was the grace of a predator and warrior, not a floating grace.

Not only did she have the face of an angel, but she had generous breasts, a perfect hourglass body, and a beautifully toned ass and legs. Her golden hair was gorgeous, and her smile could make my heart skip a beat. I really should have been jealous of her perfection, but I just felt lucky that she wanted to share herself with me.

I nipped her lip playfully, “Let’s agree to disagree, Cyn.”

I caressed her supple body everywhere I could re
ach, slowly and teasingly, as we continued to kiss and build up the heat between us.

She was doing much the same to me, and I feared if this went on much longer before she got to my most intimate part, I’d explode with it.

I gasped, melted against, and spread my legs a little more as she ran her fingers along my labia, collecting my moisture and getting her fingers wet. Then I moaned and arched my back, as her fingers slid into my waiting and wanting heat.

I was going to return the favor, but she rolled us and claimed the top, then started to kiss her way down my body, taking that option out of reach. For the moment…

Cyntariel said between lavishing my breasts with her lips and tongue, “I can’t wait to taste you.”

I moaned in agreement, and opened myself up to her. I’d be more than happy, and quite willing, to return the favor later.

Then she was there, and I lost all rational thought and just enjoyed every delicious shiver of sensual pleasure she provided. She was magic. It didn’t take long at all before I was thrown into ecstasy for the first time that day we spent together in bed.

It was going to be a long and wonderful day, and perhaps night as well…

Cyntariel said, “We should probably get up, and go join the others for breakfast. If for no other reason, just so they know we haven’t expired.”

I laughed. We had been alone together for almost twenty-four hours. We’d had a ton of sex, in every imaginable way in that period of time, but we weren’t machines either. We’d spent a lot more time cuddling naked in bed, talking, teasing, and getting to know each other better. We’d even eaten in the buff, I hadn’t worn clothing the whole time, and neither had she.

I’d already been smitten, and half in love with her before our time started, but I was pretty sure after the last day it was official. I just hoped that meant the admiral would be spending a lot of his off time on planet with his sister the empress, otherwise I was going to miss her a lot.

Not sexually so much, because of having three other lovers with me I’d be more than sated, but I’d greatly miss the whole package and experience that was Cyntariel of Isyth.

  “If you insist.”

She giggled naughtily, “Want to keep me forever?”

“Maybe?” I said with just a little too much mock casualness.

  She nuzzled my neck.

“I love you Lori Adams, as impossible as that is.”

I melted, and replied teary eyed, “I love you too Cyntariel.”

  She pouted, “Cyn.”

I laughed, “You used my full name, it was a special occasion.”

She smirked, and pinched my ass before rolling out of bed and running for the shower.

There was only one response to that, I ran after her…

  Chapter Twenty-One

We got a few teasing looks as we joined Vik, Solyra, Jillintara, Telidur, and Dessia at breakfast. Not from Dessia of course, she just looked sour for some reason, and didn’t even look at me disapprovingly. Probably because she adored Cyntariel, approved of her and Vik’s friendship, and I’d just gone and seduced her into my evil alien bed? To be fair, maybe it wasn’t about me, contrary to appearances I knew the world didn’t revolve around me and not everything was about me after all.

Maybe one day she wouldn’t hate me, but I wouldn’t hold my breath on that idea.

I was advanced in a lot of ways, far more mature, capable, and insightful than most twenty-year-old women in a lot of ways. But, I was still behind the curve when it came to emotional connections, and could admit that to myself. I wasn’t quite an infant anymore, or separated from society, over the last year I’d learned a lot from loving Telidur, Vik, and Jillintara, but I still had a way to go.

“Good morning,” we both murmured in unison as we sat down, then we giggled and looked at each other.

I dove into the food right away, I was starving.

It wasn’t that we didn’t have dinner last night, we did. We’d even eaten a bit off each other, but in the twelve hours since we’d also expended a lot of calories.

  Solyra said, “Good morning.”

The others said it too, or in Vik’s case nodded in response.

  “Vacation plans?” I asked curiously.

Vik shrugged, “You have any ideas?”

I shook my head. I wouldn’t mind taking them all to Earth. I knew Cyntariel wanted to see it, and Jillintara and Solyra had enjoyed dinner and dancing last time. But without the scout destroyer’s ability to open a stable wormhole inside star systems, it would be a fourteen-hour trip one way, which meant we’d only have a day there. Plus, what if the Suaterans launched an attack when we were on Earth, we’d be hard pressed to get back in time.

No, our Earth visit would have to wait a little longer.

  “There’s got to be something.”

Vik snorted, “We could just relax, take in a few shows, go to a resort?”

  “A resort would be good.”

I looked up as someone walked in the room.

She looked familiar, but I couldn’t place her. She was petite for an Isythian female, my height at five foot seven. She was curvy and clearly all women, but closer to willowy. She had long, straight, very light blonde hair and dark blue eyes, much like most of the people of Isyth. The darker golden blonde color that Cyntariel had was rare.

Her face was so familiar, but not. She had a pixie-like beauty to her face, and wore a wide smile as she looked between Jillintara and myself.

I gasped when it finally hit me, “Myra?”

She’d obviously modeled her body and face after her chosen holographic body and looks, but DNA was rather finicky, and she only got extremely close, but there were a few subtle differences. She was also in a flattering dress, that fit her petite body type perfectly, sexy, but not inappropriately so.

She bounced excitedly on her toes a few times, and then I stood and had her in my arms. Jillintara made her the center of a sandwich hug a second later, all three of us had smiles that wouldn’t quit.

  “You’re beautiful.”

  She grinned, “Surprise!”

I laughed, “How did you get here?”

The lab was on the moon in our hidden build system, and I knew her body was just getting finished today. Yet, she was here.

She blushed, “I used an orb, I didn’t want to wait. Right from the surface to near orbit. I flew down in a ship suit. I’m… wearing it now, the dress is a hologram.”

Solyra said, “Welcome to the palace Myra, it’s good to have you here. I think we’ll work well together.”

We finally let her go and stepped back.

Myra said, “Thank you, your highness.”

Solyra shook her head, “None of that in my private suite. Take a seat, there’s plenty of breakfast left.”

The three of us sat back down, and I couldn’t help but glance over every once in a while. My daughter was breathtaking, and beautiful. And she was, my daughter. I’d created her, with Jillintara’s help, and if filled me with awe.

I truly didn’t understand how anyone could perceive her as a machine. I was gratified that Solyra, her new boss, clearly didn’t.

Solyra asked, “So everything went well I assume?”

Myra nodded, “The first ten were all successes, we should be able to create twenty bodies a week, so it will take about eight months to have bodies for all my sisters, and the ships of the new fleet. Not to mention the fifty Earth ships, which will take another three weeks.”

Then she blurted, “Oh, I almost forgot. The DE sensors have had a breakthrough of sorts a few hours ago. Not as good as the other sensors, but much better than half an A.U. We can now scan out three A.U. from the sensor, so in a six A.U. diameter globe.”

I nodded, “We should keep working on it, but we should also build out and deploy it immediately. At least enough to deploy around the five planets, and the build system. So, six of them? That won’t take longer than a day or two I would think, and would give us another edge if the Suaterans
come back.”

Vik grunted, “That would at least give us a few hours warning of a cloaked ship moving toward our planets or space infrastructure.”

Myra nodded, “It could also be routed to the secure data-net, and be used for targeting by any of our destroyers or missiles. I’d also advise we add one DE sensor to the scout-destroyer design. Just one won’t impact the build time. That would allow them to scan near the ship, or at any ship’s deployed multi-function orb through dimension ports, one at a time. Once we have our final version, we can add fifty of them, like the other sensor blisters on the ship.”

Vik said, “I’ll approve that, what about our sensor probe network?”

I said, “Probably not necessary, for now. It would be a good thing, if we could see where a fleet of cloaked ships were moving to before they were only three hours away, but redeploying six thousand probes would take months. Might be better to wait for the final version before we mass produce it for both the ships and probes. I think I’d like to redesign that whole thing anyway.”

  Vik raised an eyebrow.

I shrugged, “Same differences that I put in the new scout destroyers. The probes have their power fed remotely, but have their sensors and drives installed on the probe itself. I was thinking we could use the multi-function orbs. Like the ships, but instead of fifty sets of sensors, we’d have six thousand sensor blisters that had the final DE technology sensor included. The cloaks too. The power would be the same, use the home ship’s or facilities reactors. Where we’d save money would be on drives, we’d only need a hundred or so impulse drives to share between the six thousand orbs for when realigning or moving the orbs were necessary. In other words, centralized infrastructure, with nothing but dimension ports in a small orb on the pointy end.”

Jillintara got a thoughtful look on her face, “Why even bother with the orbs? Just take the dimension technology to its ultimate expression. It wouldn’t work with most things, but it would be perfect for a sensor network.”
