The Cassidy Brothers Page 10

I inserted a second finger, curling them both round to rub at her g-spot while my thumb circled her clit. I swallowed her cries with my kiss.

She came apart in my arms, her pussy muscles contracting around my fingers. I had to bite back a curse at the blistering desire that shot through me. I wanted her to come around my dick, with me buried deep inside her. But she wasn’t ready, I knew that. I also knew I’d wait forever for her to be ready.

I kept stealing her moans until her body sagged against the wall. I gazed at her for a long moment, waiting until she opened her eyes before bringing my fingers to my mouth and sucking them clean. Her honey was sweet, and I savoured it. Orla’s eyes widened.

  “So sweet, so innocent…” I murmured. “So…loud.”

She ducked her head and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. A blush spread across her cheeks.

  Adorable.

“What…what do I taste like?” she asked, her voice so quiet.

  I grinned. “Like cherries.”

Orla’s legs hooked around my back, pulling me toward her. She kissed me slowly, her tongue running along my lips. It took me a second to realise she was trying to taste the drops of her on my lips.

I let out a groan, pressing my rock-hard cock against her wetness.

Orla let out a giggle and pulled back, looking down at my bulging jeans. She glanced up to me with such a sweet look. “Can you be quiet?” she asked, a hint of nervousness in her voice.

“Depends, ginger snap,” I said with a grin. “What are you going to do to me?”

My breath left my lungs in a rush as her hands went to my belt and began opening it. We had done a lot of groping and a lot of making out over the last week, but I’d never pushed her to go any further, despite how badly I wanted her.

My blood was whooshing through my veins and my cock became painfully hard as she slid off the dresser and dropped to her knees in front of me.

  “Orla, you don’t have to—”

Unbuttoning my jeans, she gripped my boxers as well and pulled them down, exposing my erection to the cool air in the room. It jutted out toward her face, which was so close that I could feel her breath against the sensitive skin.

Fuck. My legs were weak, and she hadn’t even touched me yet. I clutched the top of the dresser to steady myself.

Reaching out, she took hold of my cock with her small hand, encircling it and running her thumb across the tip. A drop of precum appeared and her eyes flickered up to mine for a second before she leaned closer. Her pretty pink tongue appeared, lapping up the wet drop and causing a bolt of lightning to shoot to the base of my cock.

My chest was rising and falling rapidly as I watched her with hooded eyes. I had the feeling that she hadn’t done this before. Her hand was slightly clumsy and unsure as she started to stroke my length up and down. But it still felt amazing, because it was her.

The look on her face was one of wonder, and that did all kinds of good for my ego. She kept glancing up at me, as if assuring herself that I liked what she was doing. I couldn’t have hidden my enjoyment if I’d tried.

“Can I take it into my mouth?” she asked breathlessly. Such an innocent question, causing a barrage of wicked thoughts in my mind.

“Jesus, yes. Put those sexy lips around my cock.”

Heat flared in her eyes at my words. Moving her hand to the base of my erection, she opened her mouth, taking in the tip. It was pleasure and torture as she twirled her tongue around the head of my cock. I wanted nothing more than to shove my hips forward, driving myself farther into her warm mouth, to feel her take every inch, despite the length.

But I wasn’t that much of a bastard. I wasn’t going to choke her. Not unless she wanted it.

Instead, I tangled my fingers into her hair and closed my eyes, revelling in the shockwaves of pleasure as she slowly took more and more of my erection into her mouth. When she’d taken all that she could, she moaned.

I almost erupted right then. The vibration coming from her throat, that slight tremor of movement from her moaning was an unexpected ecstasy. She started bobbing her head up and down, her hand pumping along with it. With each downward stroke, she took more of my length in, until I could feel myself hitting the back of her throat each time.

The sensations were overwhelming, and it didn’t take long before I was at the edge of orgasm. I tried to hold off, wanting this to last as long as possible. I bit back a groan, very much aware that Aogán was still downstairs, possibly Tristan too. But that just added to the excitement for me, knowing that we could be discovered like this.

“Orla...I’m going to come… Fuck…” I barely got the words out as my body spiralled with pleasure. Orla didn’t pull away. Instead, she took me deeper than ever, gagging slightly but not withdrawing as I exploded into her throat. She swallowed it all, making my climax more intense.

I shuddered as the orgasm wound down. Orla pulled back, licking her lips with a devious grin. How did I get so lucky?

Reaching down, I gripped her arms and pulled her to her feet. The kiss I pressed to her lips was soft, tender. An emotion welled up in my chest that was foreign and somewhat terrifying. I’d never felt like this about a woman. But, then again, no one was quite like her. This beautiful mix of brave and vulnerable, delicate and strong. She’d wormed her way under my skin and into my heart.

I didn’t know much about love, but I was pretty sure that was what I was feeling. Even though Orla hadn’t said anything more about making us an item or telling the boys about us, I was pretty sure she felt the same way.

  Orla

How did I get myself into this crazy situation?

I was fooling around with three men. Correction: three brothers.

This could only lead to trouble, I knew that, but I couldn’t help myself. I told myself I couldn’t take things further. But every time I was alone with one of them, it just felt so good. So right.

When I was around all three of them, listening to their banter around the dinner table or reminiscing over hot cocoas around the fire, it felt like home. Like family. And my heart ached for each one. My soul twisting further into knots when I tried to imagine choosing just one.

Because I was falling for all of them. For all different reasons.

Aogán and I had been each other’s first love. I loved his bossy nature, his over-protectiveness, even his grumpy moods. Because they all stemmed from his need to protect his family, me, to do what was best for us. He made me feel safe, secure, loved.

But I needed the lightness that Donncha brought. Laughter with him came as easily as breathing; I missed his sunshine when he wasn’t around. He filled me with joy, laughter, love.

And Tristan. Such a caring, sensitive old soul. He could read me like no one could. He understood me without words, often knowing what I needed before I did. He made me feel known, understood, loved.

Each of them had coaxed out desire in me…each of them so patient, so understanding, so easily letting me take things at my pace. Each of them was helping me to rediscover a part of myself I thought was dead…the part of me that was a woman. A sexual being.

After my stepfather, I didn’t think I could ever want another man. To let another man kiss me. Undress me. Touch me.

And it’d all started with an innocent desire…a kiss from each of them. But kisses had developed into more, always more. Now I wanted three of them. I needed them.

Kisses turned to touching, turned to tasting orgasms on our tongues. Now I was on the brink of a full-blown sexual relationship with all three of them. This was wrong, wasn’t it?

How was this possible? Wasn’t I supposed to only love one person?

Want to be with one man?

How could I be falling for three different men? Three brothers? Brothers who I’d tear apart if they knew.

I was a horrible person to want them all. A broken, ruined woman who couldn’t love properly. They didn’t deserve this…me.

I knew I couldn’t keep hiding this from the thr
ee of them. I had to come clean about my feelings.

But first I had to choose. Right?

I felt torn in three different directions. Like all three of them owned a piece of my soul. How could I give any of them up? How could I choose?

But I needed to. I couldn’t keep being with all of them, secretly hiding it behind the others’ backs.

  Right?

There was a knock on my bedroom door, and Tristan’s voice came through from the other side. “Orla? Are you ready to go?”

The four of us were going into town tonight, to a local pub.

  “Almost,” I called out.

I finished applying my mascara and stood back from the full-length mirror on my closet door to assess my look. I didn’t have a lot of clothes, but the dress I was wearing was one of my favourites. A dark blue sweater dress, it hugged my curves and paired well with my boots. I had left my hair down, the way Donncha liked it, and my face had minimal make-up. Tristan preferred a more natural look on me.

Opening the door to my bedroom, I smiled at the sight of Aogán. His eyes went straight to where my breasts stretched the wool fabric of my dress, and I saw him subconsciously lick his lips. My nipples hardened in response, remembering the sight of that tongue licking me between my legs earlier today. I suddenly wished the two of us were staying behind tonight for some alone time.

I scanned his body, taking in the black sweater and faded jeans. His toned body was hidden from view, but that didn’t erase the memory of what he felt like pressed up against me. My thoughts must have been clear in my facial expression because he stepped closer, eliminating the distance between us. Brushing a strand of hair out of my face, he leaned in until our lips were inches apart.

“If you keep looking at me like that, we’ll never make it out the door,” he whispered.

“You promise?” I asked, yearning for a kiss.

“You’re killing me,” he groaned. “But the others are waiting downstairs.”

The others. Right. His brothers that I was also messing around with.

I hadn’t slept with any of them yet. That was a line I still hadn’t crossed. For so many reasons.

“We could tell them,” Aogán said, pulling my body into his. “About us. Then we wouldn’t have to hide.”

“No! I mean,” I licked my lips, which had gone dry, guilt weaving around my belly, “it’s not the right time yet.”

Aogán let out a huff. “When? When is the right time?”

“Soon.” I tugged myself from his grasp. Fuck. We couldn’t keep going like this. I had to put a stop to it. I had to tell them.

“Hey,” Aogán said, reaching out for me. His mouth descended on mine in a hot but brief kiss. “I’m sorry for pressuring you.”

Guilt tugged these knots even tighter. “It’s grand, Aogán.”

He still wouldn’t release me. “Did I tell you that you look beautiful tonight?”

“Not with words.” I smiled, finally relaxing against him. “But I got the message.”

We broke apart at Donncha yelling at us from downstairs.

We left the house with Aogán behind the wheel and Tristan in the passenger seat. Donncha shared the backseat with me and spent the entire fifteen-minute trip running his fingertips up and down my exposed thigh, using the dark car interior as cover, driving me crazy by avoiding the space between my legs, teasing me. Even as he carried on a conversation with Tristan.

The pub was located near the centre of town, and the parking lot was nearly full, which was probably typical for a Friday night. Aogán was lucky to find a spot at the edge of the lot. The pub was a brick-faced building with a sign hanging above the red door that proclaimed the place The Hairy Lemon. There was an outdoor seating section with metal tables and chairs where a few people sat in a cloud of cigarette smoke. I was relieved when we skirted this area. My pregnancy made me sensitive to smells.

Donncha pulled open the door, and I could see that the place was almost filled to capacity. The stools lining the bar were full, with men and women drinking while they snacked on salted peanuts or Tayto cheese and onion crisps. There were square wooden tables scattered throughout the space, leaving room for a dance floor in front of an empty stage on the back wall.

A large group of people had pushed three of the tables together and seemed to be celebrating something. This was confirmed minutes later as we walked by and someone started a birthday toast directed at a woman with short blonde hair. With a jolt, I realised that I knew her. It was Arianne, a girl that I had gone to school with before being sent away.

She caught my eye and waved happily as we passed. I returned the gesture. The guys led us to one of the few empty tables in the pub, which happened to be right at the edge of the dance floor. We settled into our seats, and a waitress with big, curly hair and a plunging neckline came over to serve us. I noticed the way she eyed the men, sending a wave of possessiveness over me. I stiffened in my seat.

Tristan touched my arm. “You okay?”

  Of course he’d notice.

“Grand,” I said, forcing a smile.

This wasn’t fair to them. I was the one who told them that I couldn’t commit to any of them. I didn’t have a right to get upset if any one of them showed an interest in someone else. This didn’t stop my stomach from clenching at the thought of any of them responding to the waitress’s attention.

“What can I get you guys?” she asked in a raspy voice.

They each ordered a pint of draft beer, but I stuck with a tonic water. Aogán and Donncha hadn’t indicated that they noticed I wasn’t drinking the last few weeks, but I was sure that Tristan had picked up on it. I could feel his intense gaze on my face as I placed the order. I didn’t know what I would say if he asked me about it. I could never outright lie to him.

I’d have to tell them I was pregnant soon. Before I started to show. But the idea filled my stomach with dread.

It would drive the three of them away and my problem of who to choose would be solved. What man wanted anything to do with a woman pregnant with someone else’s baby? What man would want anything to do with a child that wasn’t theirs?

I shoved that pain aside. It didn’t matter. I had a tiny life to think of. My baby came first. Not my lust. Or these feelings that were growing for all three brothers.

After Christmas, I promised myself. I’d tell them everything after Christmas.

The waitress jotted down our orders on a notepad before strutting away, and I could have sworn that she added a little extra sway to her hips as she went. I seemed to be the only one who noticed, though. Aogán, Donncha, and Tristan didn’t spare her more than a cursory glance.

I took a moment to look around the pub, recognising several other people. There was something comforting about that, seeing familiar faces in the crowd. It made me feel like…I belonged here.

The waitress returned with our drinks, lingering for a few seconds until it was obvious that the guys weren’t going to give her any attention. She frowned before hurrying away.

“Are you hungry?” Tristan asked, always so thoughtful.

I shook my head. “No, I’m okay.” Reaching out under the table, I laid my hand on his knee, giving it a brief squeeze.

“Then, do you think you’ll be okay here at the table by yourself for a little bit?” Donncha asked. I raised an eyebrow.

“Are you guys abandoning me already?”

He grinned at me. “We have a surprise.”

Before I could form a response, they all three stood and headed for the stage. My brow furrowed as I watched them. Aogán went for the guitar cases propped up against the wall that I hadn’t noticed before. Donncha and Tristan stepped up onto the stage where there were three barstools set up and a single microphone.

“Orla?” I turned and saw that Arianne had approached my table. “I thought that was you!”

I stood and gave her a quick hug. “Arianne, what’s the craic? How’ve you been?”

  I gestured to Aogán’s empty s
eat, and she took it. “I’ve been grand,” she said. “Going to college in Dublin to become a pharmacist.”

  “Oh? Home for the holidays?”

  “Yep. And a birthday celebration.”

  “Well, happy birthday,” I grinned.

“Thanks.” Her eyes strayed to the stage. “So, I see you’re here with the Cassidy boys.”

“They’re not boys anymore,” I said, the words coming out with an unintentional sexual undertone.

“No, they aren’t,” she agreed, her eyes darting over to drink in the sight of them.

Possessiveness reared its ugly head once again. I was breaking my own rules, but I was finding it impossible to control my feelings.

“Hello, Hairy Lemon,” Donncha’s voice came over the microphone. The conversations around the pub diminished to nothing as everyone turned their attention to the stage where all three men were seated on the stools. “My name is Donncha Cassidy, and this is my backup band.”

Aogán scowled while Tristan rolled his eyes. I snickered as Donncha winked at me.

“In the spirit of the holiday, we’d like to play some music for you,” he continued, flashing a charming smile that made my heart stutter.

Tristan started playing the first notes of a soft rock song. Aogán soon joined in. When Donncha sang, I couldn’t keep the goofy grin off my face. My eyes darted from one man to another as they played. I was so proud of them.

“Wow, they are so good,” Arianne said as we clapped at the end of the first song.

I had to agree. As they started a second song, my attention was on Tristan. It was amazing to see how much he came to life as he played a complicated guitar solo, his nimble fingers flying across the strings. All traces of shyness disappeared when he performed as he lost himself completely in the music. It felt almost voyeuristic to watch him.

I sipped my tonic water as they played and I caught up with Arianne. I was careful to avoid conversation about my life the past three years, answering vaguely before turning the conversation around to her. She was only too happy to oblige, filling me in on her life and all the gossip of the town that I had missed. I listened to her as much as I could, but most of my attention was diverted to the stage. I wasn’t the only one. The brothers had the attention of the whole pub, especially the women. Not that I could blame them. My boys were sexy and talented.
